Wispa are you calling us ho's??? Lol (this ho just grabbed an optimistic seat at the front!!)

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 10:49:41

Thanks wispa!! Blimey bus no.5! That is mad!

I do the bin thing too, but to be fair I did that last time with an Asda cheapie and four hours later a faint line had appeared. A week later cbd confirmed it! So not all madness.

I really need to be proactive and get off MN, in the middle of setting up my childcare business but keep getting distracted lol

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 10:50:08

Ho aboard lol

PurpleGeekyGirl Tue 24-Sep-13 10:50:46

Grabs a seat before the bus fills up again!

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 11:06:44

Haha, was supposed to read 'hop' as you probably realised wink

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 11:47:24

Well fellow ho's, i did indeed bring my pee to work!! You lot are a bad influence! It was in a pot that you normally send horse poo to the vets in. To test for worms. So popped out, superdrug. Dipped. BFN. not even a teeny line. Still no af.

Rubbish. Cat also ditched me last night but did bring a dead thing for me. Mama i think i am prob getting a slightly longer cycle too. Which is good.

Lucy - still early days for you!! Good luck! And m33r stay strong and resist testing!

Thora!!! Eewww to the forgotten pee!!!! Bleurch!!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 12:18:25

Oh lucy don't say that ill be going bin hoking again at lunch lol

ELR Tue 24-Sep-13 12:34:55

Hopping on too if only as a connection to the October bus!
Did another test this morning and still bfn!! Feeling really rough and slightly sick so very strange. AF must on the way if still getting bfn.
A massive good luck to everyone else testing this week.

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 12:38:50

Mama. 'Nit symptom spotting'??? No you are not only one doing it!! Here goes (to show I'm also bonkers!): cm at 6&7dpo and pos opk at 6dpo (why the heck was I even opk-ing??); very slight AF-like cramps 7,8,9dpo; nausea 10, 11 dpo (some wine was had previous nights); heightened smell - petrol - but driving diff car); lower back pain 10dpo and today (11dpo) and very sore knee joints (but did ever IDE for dirst time in years recently; also feeling tired but, well, I've been working, exercising, drinking wine etc wtc. So have gone spotting daft and have really got hopes up especially with cm and back pain BUT all 'symptoms' easily attributable to something else! I have gone mad but glad I have company!!!! ;-)

PS not a big animal person but am thinking on seeking out strays to check!!??!! :-0

PPS I'm ranting like a mad person again....

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 12:39:51

Sorry and that was doing exercise for the first time in years!

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 12:51:27

Lol m33r you made me laugh. Its ok Il put the call out for the men in white coats - you and mama can go together!!!

Big fat booooo to the bfn notta sad maybe its too early? Have you purchased supplies for tmrw?

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 13:11:27

Sorry notta!! Might still happen tho! Hope so smile sorry to be a bad influence I can't even help myself!

M33R I love it!!!!! Yes!!!! You are officially as mad as me!!!! So I now feel I can confess to also having a pos opk at 6dpo with no idea why I did opk (it wasn't a full positive but very close and was away again by the evening) yay!! It feels good to have a fellow crazy!! smile

Check lucy out...pretending to be sane...lol

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 13:12:44

Ps I just hoked the test out of the bin....still bfn! Lol

Refoca Tue 24-Sep-13 13:15:34

<waves hello> still here, I'll try to keep up on bus 5, lol. Congrats to all the bfps so far, and hope the bfns are just all too early...

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 13:37:59

Hahaha!!! Yep deffo the sane one in the group ;)

Hi refoca....we are poas buddies!!!!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 15:43:41

Just realised I am only 8dpo today not 9dpo!!!!! Haha! Seriously how early have I been testing! Hillarious!! I need to chill......like that's ever gona happen!!!! Lol

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 15:44:58

Hi Refoca! How you holding out on the poas front??? Are you sane? I'm not!!! Lol

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 15:57:01

Lucy!!! Sane? Its down to you that i brought pee to work!!

Well ho's I'm out. Af is here.

Good luck to the rest of you - i will be checking in to see results! (esp you mama!!)

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 16:04:09

Awh notta!! NOoooooooo!!!!!! Gutted for you!! I so wanted us to get our bfps together....sob... Hugs to you!!! I know you will get your bfp soon so don't worry!! Now you can drink obscene amounts of wine and treat yourself to some yummy food also ;) stay on this bus for a bit anyway as I'd miss your comments!!!!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 16:06:55

I feel sad notta sad appreciate your support so much.... X

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 16:12:57

Nooooooooo notta sad I thought you were going to be lucky too this month. Good luck for next time and I take full responsability for you peeing in a pot hehe!!!

No news here, had a few AF type cramps and still ridic hot but its so hot here. Anyone else have gorgeous weather? Been at the park for an hour playing (topping up tan!!!)

crazylady2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 16:41:05

Better hop onto the new bus....still no af or symptoms unless you count a full snotty head cold. Only a few days left before I will know either way (trying not to poas).
Sorry to hear about those that af got...good luck on the next bus.

NeuroticSweetTalk Tue 24-Sep-13 16:52:40

Hi ladies, I have a quick question of anyone is in a similar situation. I have a 26 day cycle and according to my app it says I Ov day 14 but I was wondering if that's just the 'norm' and whether it's possible that I Ovd earlier or later?

I'm only asking since I have no idea the exact DPO I am since I'm guessing it's somewhere between 10 and 12 (maybe) my AF/BFP is due Saturday 28th if that helps? smile

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 16:57:12

Oh no, Notta!! Hope October is your month, then.

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 16:59:51

Did you use OPKs or track temps or cm?

If you have a normal LP, you could have ov'd as early as CD10 or as late as CD16, but that's not taking into account the potential for a short LP or extra long LP. It's helpful to at least keep track of when you have fertile cm, even if you don't want to go all out tracking.

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 17:07:06

Im defo out sad

Af has started properly after 2 days of spotting, so a 28 day cycle this time. Last month was 30 days with 5 days spotting, so I'm hoping my cycles are ok after coming off the pill.

I've ordered some cb opk's with the smiley flashy faces for next month. Can anyone recommend what thermometer I need to try and track temp? I have a good feeling for next month, 3rd month lucky!! FX

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 17:07:57

I'm going to hang around here to see all the bfps at the end of the week!!

GillyBillyWilly Tue 24-Sep-13 17:20:36

Marking space although very quiet this week... Work has taken over my life!!!!! shockshockshock

GillyBillyWilly Tue 24-Sep-13 17:21:33

By the way is the list up to date??!

lucyfluff Tue 24-Sep-13 17:28:49

Good luck for nxt mnth MrsB - I have no idea re thermometer...im sure someone wise on here will.

Could you link the opks you bought please. Im getting ready for next cycle smile

ELR Tue 24-Sep-13 17:32:45

mrsb think I going to order some opks too and would also be interested in the best thermometer if anybody has any advice. Hoping for 3rd time lucky for me next month too!
gilly I'm still not on there please can someone e add me or tell me how to do it.
ELR ttc#3, cycle 2, BFP 26th.

Refoca Tue 24-Sep-13 17:38:29

Sorry to hear you're out, Notta and MrsB :-( fingers crossed you have a better bus ride on the October Express.

I'm still staying firm, no poas here...though that's mostly down to pre-AF symptoms now, so I figure I'll know tomorrow anyway.

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 17:47:25

Sorry to hear that mrsb!!! Good luck on the next bus!!

Gilly how you doing?? Have you poas yet?? So much willpower going on.....well not mine but pretty much everyone else!!

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 17:55:00

Lucy and ELR these are the ones I've bought, they are expensive but cheaper than in the shops
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BSNL778/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(hope the link works)

cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 17:56:18

Sorry af got you notta and mrsb.

I temp and just got a bbt one from amazon, think the make is babymed or something like that. Seems to work for me.

Glad ur holding out m33r, if you do I will ... deal?

Symptom spotting been going on all day in my head and I've even been thinking abt how im going to test on Friday. Think gonna pee in a pot so i can double dip if i need to! grin

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 17:57:24

mama and gilly I hope you both get your bfp this month!

I think if I did ov it was on cd14, as had stomach pains that day, cycle before was cd17 with same pains.

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 18:16:56

Awh thanks mrsb! Best of luck!!

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 18:25:01

Cheesey I am hanging in there but def double dipping on fri - IC and CB dig on stand-by.

Yes ovulation can be nuts!!! I strongly recommend opk sticks. What I do to save money and because I did it all month as I was all over the place as used IC which detect 20mi. As soon as you get a faint line you know it's coming and see it darken. As it hits the same colour as the test line, I double dip using a cb dig (40mi). That way I know that the surge is in the smiley but I haven't spent a fortune. Then the smiley will go away, you can go back to IC to see it gradually fade out...

At least that's my strategy with money sving advice included!

Bonkers!!!!!!

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 18:38:42
cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 18:45:07

ha ha m33r thats exactly what I have! If i get a line i want to be able to confirm with a digi. Or i may even do both at the same time ... Is that crazy?

Ahhh roll on Friday!

Good luck to everyone testing tomorrow ... Mama you trying again tomorrow?

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 18:59:25

No more crazy than me cheesey.

Wishing my life away here... Thinking its nearly tomorrow then it'll be thurs then I can poas !!

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 19:10:10

Ah thanks everyone. I feel ok but rather grumpy and bought two bottles of wine on the way home. smile

I hope you all get bfps but will miss your chat if you do!! Will lurk here til the bitter end.

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 19:11:05

I also bought period pants and sanitary towels. Less than pleased with that!!

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 19:12:49

Enjoy the wine Notta and sorry AF arrived!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 19:26:22

Awh notta.....I will so be buying 2 (or 3) bottles of wine if I get a bfn by Friday!! You enjoy every drop of it and you are perfectly entitled to feel grumpy until af leaves.....then you pick yourself up and get on with round 4! Ding ding!!! Oh and I hope you do lurk til the bitter end....we all love hearing from you! Enjoy the wine!! And hopefully you won't need those period pants next month ;)

Cheesy yes I'm testing again tomorrow....no point lying...I just have to test every day now!! I need to know ASAP!!!! The worst thing is I've convinced myself tonight that this is it for me....I don't even know why....all I have is lots of wind (tmi) and a very full feeling in my tummy (that'll be the wind). Not had anymore nausea today but I do feel rough in a hard to explain way....my belly is a bit achey....would remind me of the feeling you eat something that doesn'tma maagreewith you...but its not that!! m

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 19:27:02

Was saying...maybe its the onset of a tummy bug....feels similar :/

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 19:40:17

Mama. I felt it was for me this month but I'm starting to doubt myself! I hope we both are as when you think you are / might be, a BFN is a harder hit! FX. I look in first thing in morn for your result even if I don't post - rushing around in the morning!

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 19:42:11

Evening all smile

Sorry af got you notta&mrsb, enjoy your consolatory wine, throw in some chocs, ice cream and warm bubble baths to boot - all thoroughly deserved and required, then loads of luck and baby dust for next month!

I may be doing the above myself v soon, have had af cramps on and off all day, the witch is due today and think she's about to come knockin, have spent my entire day going to the loo to check, my toilet roll consumption has rocketed, another unexpected cost to this ttc business!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 19:45:20

M33R thanks...I know I'm always checking in to see who's the next bfp!! Really hope you get your bfp, you have waited long enough for it and totally deserve it!! And you seem so patient as well, compared to me going nuts on cycle 3! Lol would love to see your bfp!!!

Are you feeling a lot different this cycle?? I feel a lot different to last cycle and the one before that I was just all over the place after coming off the pill so can't really compare it. But I had no cramps at all last cycle prior to af....my stomach is not good this time...I'm hoping its due to my bfp on the way and not a real nasty af that is causing cramps way before its arrival :/

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 19:47:28

Onelife hope its not af cramps for you!! I've had cramps for days now if it is af on the way its gona be a painful one :/

cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 20:00:40

Will check in the morning to see ur result mama ... Lots of luck. I think a jippy tummy, bloated etc is def a symptom, thats what im telling myself anyway!

Hope AF doesn't get you onelife or any of us clinging on to the bus!

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 20:02:28

I don't 'feel' pg necessarily but the cm got me wondering and the back pain which even though I say I've started exercise I don't think it's muscular pain so that's getting my hopes up.

I'm patient mostly but last month (my 30th) I took my BFN REALLY badly. Was inconsolable - crying on trains; sobbing uncontrollably while preparing lasagne. I suppose you get used to it but 2nd week of 2ww gets harder.

I guess the only thing that makes me think I'm NOT pg is that it's been neg 10 times before but there's no reason i shouldn't be. I also think that I'm the odds-on favourite this month being that I've had 10 runs and most of us will get pg !!

Positive mental attitude!!!

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 20:04:08

Sorry last paragraph had lots of double negatives; I meant, I'm sure I'm pregnant and the only thing that calls it into doubt in my own mind is getting a bfn 10x before

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:07:30

Great attitude M33R! I'm super impressed by your positivity, I believe that has a lot to do with outcomes in relation to health and other things!!!

My prob is I get too positive (ie optimistic) so much so that I believe this is it....then the disapointment is quite huge! But I know I may have many cycles ahead of me so will just have to pick myself up again and keep trying....DH is having a great time anyway!!! Lol but I know this cycle he's expecting a BFP :/

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 20:08:32

Ah bless you m33r!! It should be you this time! Sending upduff vibes to you!!

I'm amazed by how time flies when your ttc, C 4 now for me.

Mama if bfp were awarded by effort then i didn't really earn one anyway this time,.you however....well you should get twins!!

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 20:10:18

Someone - i forget who - pointed out that spastically statistically i will be preggers by xmas. That makes me feel better. smile

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:10:48

Thanks cheesy smile

M33R I guess its all out of our hands we can just try our best and hope it happens as soon as possible!!! But I do hope your wait is over smile

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:11:56

More like triplets notta with the among of effort she put in wink

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:13:29

Thanks for anti af wishes mama&cheesy, i'm doing my best to give off unwelcome here vibes to her but not sure she's going to take the hint. If she hasn't out in an appearance by tmrw i'm poas for sure

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:14:40

Notta!!!! Lol whilst my effort this cycle can not be doubted!! Twins would give me an almighty shock....would be happy with just the one thanks!!! Lol couldn't afford the double childcare bill for a start!!!

But I agree that M33R fully deserves it and I hope statistics prove themselves to be right with her bfp!!!!

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:15:57

post before last supposed to say amount not among, sausage fingers!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:17:30

Onelife!!!!! Please....no!!!! Triplets!! You and notta def know how to scare the $h*t out of me!!!!! Please just the one....I will be very very happy with that!!! Lol

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:17:34

How many bfp's did the August bus clock up??

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 20:17:35

I think most of us will spastically be preggers by Christmas! grin

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:20:49

Can you imagine how huge you'd be with triplets?! Well they do say women having multiple pregnancies are often more sick so if that dicky tum of yours turns out to be a bfp (please let it!) watch out mama!!

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:23:13

Wispa, is that why you've got xmas in your name? I hope you're right, don't like the thought of starting the new year without a bambino on board

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 20:29:38

I took the bfn last month really poorly, too. And look at me now! Come on girls, get some Bfps!! I reeally want it to happen for you all!

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 20:31:21

My name is actually Christmas...

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 20:33:16

Which means I will never have to lie to my children about there being a Father Christmas.. Because H will be! grin

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:33:51

Onelife!!!!! Stop that!!! Lol well I'm prob in for a fair bit of morning sickness...vomitted the whole way through my last pregnancy....and was still vomitting when I was giving birth :/ and that was def just from one baby in my tummy lol sounds terrible but a multiple birth would freak me out so much....I don't know how I'd cope!!!

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:35:59

Wispa are you actually joking about your surname???? There is no way!!!! Lol

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 20:38:06

No joke! I joke with H that thee wee two reasons I married him: citizenship and his name gringrin

mama31 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:43:45

Wispa you must be kidding!!! That is pretty unbelievable!!! And amazing!!! Wow....

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 20:43:50

Really? How cool, I love Christmas!!! smile

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:46:28

Thanks for the link wispa

Will temping work in the morning if I wake up during the night for a wee?

ELR Tue 24-Sep-13 20:55:54

If that's the case mrsb I'm buggered I'm up at least twice per night for a wee! And I'm not even pregnant yet!

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 21:00:34

MrsB, it has for me! I've been waking up loads of times, but as long as I'm still half asleep when I take my temp at getting up time, it stayed super regular.

m33r Tue 24-Sep-13 21:24:29

Thank you all so very very much for happy thoughts! I think the good vibes will def help me!

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 21:40:25

I read on here somewhere that temping was not for folk who get up in the night?

wispaxmas Tue 24-Sep-13 21:45:21

Notta, they say you need 3 hours of sleep before taking it, and it needs to be within the same 20 minutes or so every morning, but for me as long as I took my temp when I was still half asleep at roughly the same time each morning I was fine, even if I'd gotten up to pee less than 2 hours before. My pre ov temps stayed within 0.1 degree Celsius of 35.85, before dipping 0.3 and then rising about 0.6 degrees. I took my temps any time between 6 and 8, though mostly close to 7:20, but none of it made a big difference.

Only think that really effected my temps was that I got drunk at a wedding and the next morning my bbt has risen a whole degree!! So alcohol will throw it off way more than getting up to pee.

ImaginaryHat Tue 24-Sep-13 21:56:06

Hi ladies, ive been away for a few days with no WiFi access and this thread has totally left me behind. I see a few new bfps since I was last around, congratulations!

I'm currently cd27, only ov'd on cd20 and already feeling all the usual pre af twinges, and have been for a couple of days, since 5dpo. Feeling pretty gutted and not at all hopeful. Don't think I'm going to bother testing unless af hasn't shown up by the end of the weekend as am certain it will be bfn, but I think I'll get af by Saturday anyway. Will be keeping an eye out for all of you testing on Fri, got my fingers crossed for you all. Good luck x

Nottalotta Tue 24-Sep-13 22:18:25

Wispa - thanks for the info. So wine plus peeing in the night and regular night wakibg will prob not help? I am a light sleeper - damn cat wakes me up regularly and i also get night terrors .... blush so wake sometimes with that or get very agitated sleep.

Ho hum. I am holding out til xmas then will rethink my game plan! This month i just need to dtd more i think!!

I think the august bus had LOADS of bfps.

onelifeonechance Tue 24-Sep-13 22:50:40

Finally found the last August thread, 23 BFPs, we've got some catching up to do girls smile

MrsB2013 Tue 24-Sep-13 22:53:24

Thanks Wispa!

I will give it a go anyway and see what happens. Sometimes I sleep all night and others I can be up 3 times!

So temp has to be taken at the same time each day? Is there a big difference in temp if you do conceive?

You learn so much on here, before ttc I just thought come off the pill and see what happens, now I'm turning slightly crazy like everyone else lol

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 07:15:06

Another bfn for me this morning, despite now being 2 days late and having none of my usual preaf signs. Used a cb so trust it but it does mean I can now take drugs for my stinking cold. And good news the vits have lengthened my cycle.

How's everyone else this morning?

jaykay987 Wed 25-Sep-13 07:18:16

Mrsb - temps if you conceive do not necessarily form the same pattern. The main use is to confirm ovulation.

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 07:20:18

Sorry to hear about the bfn, purple. I do know someone who got BFNs all the way until 18dpo when she finally got a positive. You might have a lower natural level of hcg in your system, which would make it take longer to kick off, and sometimes an egg will just hang around for a few days before implanting, so you really never know. Also, clearblue tests have a higher threshold for hcg, and if you want a brand name test, the first response are the most sensitive.

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 07:25:44

My temps have continued to go higher generally, whereas I think they would go up, stay up for a couple weeks and then drop down for AF, though sometimes they stay elevated for the first few days of the cycle... Apparently if you continue to temp in early pregnancy you an see a mc coming as you temp will suddenly fall as no progesterone will be being made anymore.

That said, I've stopped temping.

I need some bfp news this morning. I'm off to Croydon for my intimidating immigration interview to be (hopefully) granted leave to remain in the uk as the spouse of a British citizen. Studidly expensive this to do, and they ask the most ridiculous questions. Fore example: have you ever committed war crimes? Have you ever committed genocide? Have you ever done anything to suggest that you may not be a person of good character?

shock

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 07:36:45

13dpo, no af yet but I can very much feel her tapping on my shoulder poas BFN sad Oh well, back to waiting, if she's coming I wish she'd just show herself and stop taunting me.

Sorry can't give you bfp news wispa, hope somebody else can, anyone else due to poas today? Good luck at your interrogation

Hang in there purple cake

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 07:37:49

Morning ladies - sorry you got a bfn purple.

Wispa - Christmas! What an awesome name grin

I'm still holding off testing, but temp still up today which is feeding my 'I think I'm preggers because ...' addiction! It was this many dpo last cycle that I got AF, however I'm not sure last cycle really counts as was first after mc so was a bit mucked up. Oh I really am going to be fed up if I'm not. Nothing I can do but wait though I guess.

Any other testing news this morning? We need some more bfps on the bus!

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 07:38:40

Ah sorry onelife flowers hang in there.

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 07:40:39

My test was a cheapie from savers, think it said it detected at 25 hcg, is that high? will be near Boots/Asda later, if af keeps a low profile may crack open the purse, any recommendations??

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 07:44:14

Thanks cheesy smile I caved this morn as af usually comes CD24/25 and as today is CD26 I got myself sl excited, in fact woke up at 4am and was so tempted to get out of bed to test there and then but so glad I didn't now

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 07:46:39

Onelife superdrug tests are very reasonable price wise and detect 10 hcg I think. I have them and clear blue digi which I think are 25 as well.

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 07:52:22

Ooo thanks, may have to swing by superdrug later then....thanks.

V impressed with your resolve (go cheesy!) How many dpo are you? Is it Fri you're testing? Hope af leaves you alone

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 07:53:36

Don't know why I said thanks twice but it's nice to be polite, manners don't cost anything smile

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 08:12:34

ha ha onelife - how very British of you! wink

If I count when I think I ovulated as 0 dpo then I'm 11 dpo today so holding out until Friday when I will be 13 dpo. Is that right or is the day you ov counted as 1 dpo? Ah whichever I'm testing Friday anyway.

Only one more morning to resist poas (or in a pot)!

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 08:18:23

Hi cheesey. I resisted too. On fri I'll be 14dpo. One more day of resisting. I have everything crossed!

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 08:24:23

Thanks everyone smile I don't think I am pg tbh. Oh the tww is so frustrating isn't it!! Phoning gp today to get results of 21 day bloods.

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 08:26:24

Hi ladies, you are not going to believe this. My D(dickhead) H actually threw away my pee. That I had hidden in the bathroom at 4.30 this morning grrrrrrrr!!!! To make it worse he hasn't even acknowledged he did it, just kissed me goodbye. Wtf?!

Had to poas using non fmu and BFN again.

In other news, one boob is very tender, not nipple tho weirdly!!

Good luck today wispa, that sounds so stupid considering you are married now! I love reading back through your chat this morning.

Good luck to anyone else poas today smile

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 08:33:42

Lucy, my right boob is definitely more tender than my left...is this significant?? clutching at straws And v interesting about your dh, do you think he'll mention it and if not will you bring it up?

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 08:37:29

Well done m33r smile Roll on Friday, got my toes crossed!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 08:41:35

Yep cheesy thats how I do it, ov day as day 0 day after day 1 yada yada.... high temp sounds promising she says not knowing a thing about temps but the way you wrote it sounds like a good thing so woop to high temps

And good luck m33r too, you are both stronger women than me! I was aiming to test tmrw though so 1 day early not too bad I suppose smile

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 08:43:26

BFN again for me...9dpo today! Swore I saw a shadow but way after the ten mins! Lol and I also think I imagined the shadow....it can not be seen by the naked eye lol

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 08:43:38

Good luck today wispa smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 09:03:27

My appointment was for half 8, but I've only just made it through the security checks and into the queue. I forgot the printed hard copy of my payment confirmation, and it was made in my married name, not the name on my Canadian passport, so they've already given me a massively hard time. I must be hormonal, because I almost burst into tears!!

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 09:04:07

Ooooo strange one life...I've never felt it like this oddly, well only after labour when milk came in so have no idea!! We can clutch together lol

Oh DH is getting a txt in a min, I'm just back from school run. Maybe he thought it wasn't wee?!

Mama - do another one lol!!!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 09:04:37

I totally second guessed my 9dpo shadow, I'm thinking happy thoughts for you grin

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 09:30:16

It was in the bathroom wasn't it Lucy? He's not found it in the kitchen and mistaken it for a tasty apple juice!? grin You may want to beak the news gently...

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 09:30:25

Morning ladies, lovely reading through all your news this morning can't believe how well everyone's doing holding out till Friday to Poas! I haven't Poas yet today af officially due tomorrow but usually get 2/3 days of spotting so going by last the last 2 months that was yesterday.
Didn't feel quite as hot when I woke this morning and got a headache so prob means af on way but boobs still killing me.
lucy can't believe your DH throwing away your pee bet you are annoyed!!
wispa almost went to Croydon this morning after school run but traffic was too bad so came home instead. I live about 15 mins away in a neighbouring county, do you live near to Croydon? 8.30 is a super early time for an interview, hope it goes well.
purple and mama sorry you both got a bfn but there is still a chance!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 09:30:33

*break

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 09:34:27

Oh and imaginary sorry you're not feeling hopeful but I very much hope af stays away and you're proved wrong smile

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 09:34:48

Awh wispa!! They should be nice to you considering that you are hormonal, hope you get it all sorted soon.

Lucy!!! Haha!!! DH was prob thinking wtf is this.... Lol

Re the shadow of a line.....would be no point doing another as I swear I think I'm imagining it and the shadow was after about 20mins later!! :/ I still have the test and can see the shadow when I twist it in to the light lol but its so light could be just an indent where the line would be if there was one lol oh well....will test again tomorrow....no spotting showing and af based on my last cycle would be due fri so perhaps its just that I'm getting a longer cycle this time!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 09:44:34

Onelife I was gona say that then thought no I won't go there!!!! Haha! But you just did......poor lucys hubby....no wonder he chucked it!! Lol

Wispa thankyou for your happy thoughts....I almost wish I didn't see a shadow coz now I'm like....is it....is it not! And was hoping for definitive answer one way or another by Friday but starting to doubt ill even know by then! :/

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 09:46:51

Well my 21 day bloods show I have ovulated again this cycle which is great news. Just waiting to hear when my scan is now. And waiting for AF to arrive!

Wispa hope they give you less of a hard time with the interview [hugs]

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 09:47:37

I'm in Orpington, actually, so not too far, but I had to take the train up to London bridge to get back down to Croydon, annoyingly. I wasn't about to try to drive during morning rush hour and then have to park!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 09:52:16

Ha! Mama I went there. See that line on the floor? I've just stepped right over it grin

And that's great news Purple, yeay! smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 09:52:22

Use a first response on Friday!

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 10:03:06

Same county then wispa I'm in West Wickham!

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 10:05:20

mama that must be frustrating you either want a -/+ this is it a line isn't it a line is so annoying! Think I would be tempted to buy a first response to double check!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 10:14:15

I have a fr but saving it for friday as the internet cheapies are most sensitive and fr prob won't detect yet.

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 10:20:04

The internet cheapies I used came up negative the day I got positive on an fr. They're not reliable tests!!

jessieagain Wed 25-Sep-13 10:33:25

Hi everyone I just popped in to see if there were any bfps this morning, but it seems as if Friday will be the big day! Fingers crossed for you.

lucy I can't believe your dh threw it out without a mention!

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 10:40:13

Lol don't feel sorry for the stupid fool!!! It was in the bathroom this time!! Hidden I may add behind several bottles.

Txt convo went along the lines of, ' you threw my pee away this morning'....'oh is that what it was, thought it smelt a bit funky'!! Hereby lies the reason why men are clueless ladies. Wtf did he think it was lol I have told him not to throw tmrws away and I'm gutted he caught me madly testing too!!

Great news on ov purple hope AF stays away smile

Friday is a mass group poas day lol

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 10:49:47

Ok I know I shouldn't have done this, but just checked 8am stick and there's a faint line. This is evap isn't it!!!!!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 10:58:13

Can you post a photo, Lucy?? Does the line have a hint of colour? Is it in the correct place for a test line?

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 10:58:41

Not sure lucy I would get another text and check again! Hope its a BFP!

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 11:02:17

Argghhh Il try and take a pic it's same colour as control line....hang on

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 11:05:10

It's on my profile - what do you think?

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 11:15:38

Can't see your profile

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 11:20:17

It's in my photo gallery, it says open to public?! Am I doing something wrong?

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 11:20:48

If it's the same colour as the control it's a bfp! Evap lines have no colour in them!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 11:27:24

Lucy, I can't get to your profile, but it's nothing to do with you. I'm on the app and can't access profiles.

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 11:44:45

Lucy. I'm excited. Please post a photo... FX

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 11:47:18

Sorry lucy can't see a line just looks like the one line unless pic is too small to see?

LH1981 Wed 25-Sep-13 11:48:00

Lucy, that def looks like a positive to me! Eeek! How exciting!
Just found the new bus, wow we are a chatty bunch!

Have forked out on a CB test for Friday but don't think this is my month.

Good luck everyone - seems Friday is a popular day for POAS'ing! x

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 11:51:02

I'm in two minds about this IC! I waited the ten mins and nothing, now three hours later a dodgy line. Will use fmu tmr to see what that does. Blimey butterfly tummy......smile

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 11:53:28

fx for you in the morning lucy! You will not be able to function straight now till the morning!!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 12:01:03

Awh lucy!!!! What's going on!!! I can't see but prob too small on my mobile!! I'm in the same boat only mine is like a shadow of a line....will test again tomorrow but wish I could know for sure its driving me crazy!!! Good luck with testing tomorrow.....hope we get our bfps together!!!! smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:07:26

I want to reiterate, that I had a shadow at 9dpo, totally big fat negative at 10dpo, another shadowy line at 11dpo, then at 12dpo a negative on IC, but positive on fr and cb!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 12:31:45

Wispa thanks for giving me hope!! At 9dpo was your shadow pink at all or literally a shadow like mine?? Also did it come up straight away or did you notice it later?? Mine was about 20mins later I noticed it. Awwwwh I do wish and hope for a bfp!!!!!

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 12:35:18

Thankyou!! I feel sick sad awww mama maybe we will tmrw, it's so annoying wondering what is going on!!!!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 12:38:31

I know lucy....I'm so afraid of disapointment :/

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 12:42:17

Just had a sneaky peak in my lunch break and omg what I have I been missing ... 2 maybe lines and husband stealing wee, its all go!

FX for you mama and Lucy, its still early so lines wud be faint ... Ooo how exciting. I can't wait for you both to poas tomorrow.

Also Lucy I know must have been annoying but ur hubby pouring your wee away did make me laugh grin

I defo have tender boobs today ... still symptom spotting like a crazy lady here! At least work helps keep my mind off it a bit.

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:43:06

Mama, this was my test: http://www.canyouseealine.com/view_home_pregnancy_test.php?testID=36931

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:43:19
wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:46:55
wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:48:50

And this was how faint my first response was on 12dpo, but I got pregnant 1-2 on a CBD the same day not with fmu!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 12:49:23

Whoops, forgot to post the link: www.canyouseealine.com/view_home_pregnancy_test.php?testID=37083

(Can I claim baby brain yet??)

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 13:10:24

Wispa! Wow so faint!!! Glad you did the cbdigi!!!

Yes I suppose mine would be like your first one....it is so so faint! So your cbdigi showed at 12dpo! Good to know!!

I hope I'm not setting myself up for a fall..dicky tummy is no more, no symptoms really today apart from the spotting would have started 2 days ago according to last 2 cycles and there is no sign. But perhaps af isn't due friday if the b6 has lengthened my cycle! Its all a mystery.....again!!!! :/

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 13:10:55

Oh and wispa thanks for that smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 13:24:29

Yep, and AF wasn't due until today or tomorrow, so testing early really worked for me. I completely commiserate with the is it or isn't it a line limbo, I was going nuts from Friday to Monday. I waffled between being convinced I was preggers and convinced they were evaps. I suppose it's an argument for waiting, but I was too impatient.

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 14:06:59

I know wispa its such a waiting game!! I am also very impatient and just have to know if there is even a chance!! But I can totally see the benefits of holding off to test as long as possible.....I am just completely incapable of it!!

I am feeling less positive today due to lack of symtoms...I am a bit gassy this aft again..but that could be anything! I'm actually worried that I won't even have a definitive answer by Friday as that was D-Day when I wanted to know for def but will only be 11dpo and could still not really know by then!!!

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 14:44:57

11dpo is still quite early mama31 so it might help to move your goal post to avoid disappointment. I got a negative at 11dpo on a test that was supposed to detect pregnancy 4 days before period is due and when I got that result I was really upset. I thought that if nothing had appeared at 11dpo then I was 'out of the game' and it was a horrible feeling. You have put so much effort into getting your BFP this month and your excitement is so obvious to us all, so I would hate for you to feel that awful low that i did if you still don't get a BFP on 11dpo.

Hopefully you will get a BFP by Friday but just bear in mind that it will still be early days and that wanting a definite result by Monday might be more realistic. x x

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 14:56:05

Thanks writer I know you are right, I appreciate that a lot. I think I'm putting my hopes on friday coz that's when af would be due and also because I can't tell DH until I'm absolutely certain and was hoping to tell him on our date night fri night! I'm just being silly I know! But its like I have it all planned out....I'm so insane its not even funny!!!

But yes if no af of bfp by Friday then ill be sure not to get too upset and won't test again until Mon if still no af. Thankyou for your support smile are you feeling any better???

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:05:26

I'm feeling much better now thanks, no sickness for 5 days and I'm slowly starting to feel more human. I went back to work on Monday, which admittedly has drained me, but at least I feel like I'm back in the real world smile

When you do get our BFP you will be so, so excited you won't care how or when you tell your DH because it will be amazing whenever you do it. I told my husband over the phone whilst he was in the middle of playing cricket grin. I was just so, so excited to see that 2nd line that I had to tell him STRAIGHT AWAY! I absolutely screamed it down the phone because of how happy and excited I was!! Telling your DH that you are pregnant will mean just as much to him whether you tell him during a date or whether you tell him whilst you're doing the hoovering smile

internationallove985 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:13:54

It's nearly my moment of truth. I'll be testing Satarday if the Witch stays away. It's action night for me tonight can't wait to get my hands him. I've not D.T.D for a week. Due to feeling yukky and not in the mood. My. God. I must have been ill
Also Writer glad you're feeling better.
xx

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:25:04

I know you are right writer, very wise words. I suppose I just thought it would be perfect to tell him on our date, but he will be ecstatic regardless of when I tell him and I need to realise that things don't happen "perfectly" I'm just a bit of a dreamer lol

I just know how much this means to him, he has wanted to start ttc for years and I have always put it off prioritising well pretty much everything- career, finances etc and finally I am biting the bullet putting this first, he can't quite believe it and is so so excited about it. Just makes me want it so much more as I know how much happy and excited he is going to be!!

But I need to re-focus and realise it will happen when the time is right and when it does we will both be very happy smile

FoxMulder Wed 25-Sep-13 15:25:33

My BFP wasn't nearly as exciting as that writer. It wasn't a sudden 'OMG' moment but something that slowly dawned on us over a few tests spread over a few days. The first one was too faint and took too long to show to really count, then next day was still very faint, etc etc. We were both poring over these little sticks going 'can you see something there?' 'where?' 'just there' 'hmm...I don't know'. It was not terribly Hollywood grin

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:26:12

Ps glad to hear you are feeling better! Hope that's the worst of it over and you can begin to enjoy your pregnancy without the sickness smile

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:29:20

Haha Fox - that did make me laugh grin I was imagining you both analysing sticks and although it was funny it was lovely too grin

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:36:29

mama - I don't think I will ever be able to enjoy my pregnancy due to all my health problems. I'm classed as High Risk and am under Consultant Care who I had my first appointment with last week. They are concerned as to how my conditions may be affected by the pregnancy and also how my conditions /medication may affect the baby. I have been referred to a Foetal Development Centre for all future appointments and scans and will be meeting them for the first time in about 5 weeks. When I hit 24 weeks I've got to have monthly appointments with my Consultant and a scan every 4 weeks to make sure my body is coping and that the baby is ok. So, until a healthy and happy baby is born and I also come out of it unharmed I'm going to be constantly worried as opposed to enjoying it smile

Did I tell you I got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time last week? It was amazing smile x

FoxMulder Wed 25-Sep-13 15:36:46

smile yes, it wasn't quite what the movies had led me to expect.

FoxMulder Wed 25-Sep-13 15:38:19

Oh no writer that really sucks (to say the least). At least they're keeping a close eye on you.

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:40:52

Writer wow, that's sounds very stressful I hope everything goes ok for you!! But yes that is amazing hearing the heartbeat, your scan/heartbeat stories make me feel all happy inside smile

Fox.....I want mine to be like the movies...can you tell lol

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:43:27

So much for the dicky tummy going....all I've had is a salad and bit of toast today.....and that trapped wind/full feeling is back and giving me cramps again...eugh....horrible feeling!!!! Of course I'm thinking its related to a pos bfp! Lol

FoxMulder Wed 25-Sep-13 15:43:46

Well then mama I guess you'll have to wait until AF is seriously late so you get a definite result & do a test when DH isn't in the house!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 15:45:51

Ours were the same way, fox! H knew I was testing early, and even though he had to leave for work before results were in he asked me to text him ASAP to say what was up. But we had spent the weekend umming and ahhing over the tests with I certainty at all.

I just did another couple tests for the hell of it and strong strong lines. There would have been no mistaking it had I writes until today, when AF was due.

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:47:04

Thanks Fox and Mama, it has been tough. This pregnancy has the potential to cause me a lot of health (and secondary lifestyle) complications so it is quite a tense time. We had a lot of pre-conception advise and counselling though so we knew the risks. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed for the perfect outcome and every time I look at my scan pictures I know the risks to me are worth it. What happens to me (if anything) doesn't matter so long as the baby is ok. The hospital have been fantastic and so thorough and I have complete faith that I'm in the best hands.

Needless to say, we only plan on doing this once!! smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 15:54:09

Writer, what's the underlying condition you have? Or is that a bit private? Don't answer if it is!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:55:07

Awh writer, I hope you keep us up to date on your journey I so hope it all works out good in the end....and you get your bundle of joy with the least amount of complications possible!!

Wispa, is that the cheapies that are showing the strong lines now??? If I as having a 23day cycle like last time then af be due friday so I'd like to think I'd see I line by then lol but if not, I will keep hope until af arrives as who knows could be a longer cycle this time!!

Writerwannabe83 Wed 25-Sep-13 16:04:45

Wispa - I have epilepsy and a yet undiagnosed condition with my heart. My heart doesn't function as well as it should do and I stopped my medication in order to have a baby - so they are concerned as to how it will cope with the added physical strain of pregnancy. I'm being kept a close eye on though. My epilepsy is stable at the moment but there is a very real risk of my seizures returning during the pregnancy - which although could cause problems in itself it also means I will lose my driving licence which would in turn put my job under threat too hmm I'm under the care of a Specialist Epilepsy nurse who deals with pregnant women and I have my next appointment with her next weeks. I just have to keep having regular blood tests to monitor the levels of my anti-epilepsy drugs in my system as they can rapidly decrease in pregnancy, hence the risk of seizures.

But never mind, only another 26 weeks to go, fingers crossed it will all be fine smile

Hi girls can I just jump in a little, according to chart af due today/tomorrow, used opk's, ttc in days before and after, tested this morning but negative, do you think I could still be in with a chance?? No af signs at all and I usually do a week before. I'm driving myself nuts!!! Thanks for any advice x x

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 16:25:01

Awh writer that sounds scary but also sounds likr you will be so well supported also!!!!

Missvaughan hello! I know how you feel!! Lol but according to these ladies on here who have way more knowledge than me re ttc....its not over til af comes and bfps can happen much later than expected! So keep positive it could happen!

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 16:27:43

Hi missvaughn whatever chance you are hoping for there are quite a few of us hoping for the same, so I'd say yes you're in with a chance! Good luck....

crazylady2013 Wed 25-Sep-13 16:42:01

So af was due yesterday but have nothing (not even spotting). So have gone and bought myself a test for the morning. Hope I haven't gone and jinxed it confused. H won't be impressed with the testing as he thinks you sould only test if 2wks late shock but do they know...Can't wait until morning fx for everyone.

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 17:21:19

Not test until 2 weeks late? Tell him to shove off, it's your body!! grin

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 17:22:12

And writer, that does sound like a lot, but you do have some good support there. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy!

lucyfluff Wed 25-Sep-13 18:02:24

That sounds positive crazylady good luck for tmrw morning. My DH is the same thinking about poas...silly men!!

Writer I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly, it sounds like you are being looked after well. smile

Im feeling really ratty tonight, snapped at ds2 about his behaviour and now thinking its just me being hormonal sad going to sulk in the bath in a min.

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 18:08:14

Writer sounds like its a tough journey for you, I hope all goes as smoothly as possible.

Realised that on Friday I'll actually be testing 2 days early rather than the 1 I was thinking. I was thinking af due on the 28th coz think I ov'd on the 14th but it wud be the 29th wouldn't it, assuming 14 day LP? Although I may have ov'd on the 13th ... Hmmm so just gonna test Friday anyway, I should get a proper answer at 13dpo anyway shouldn't I?

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 18:23:47

I should think so cheesy!! I'm hoping for confirmation at 11dpo! That may be pushing it! Lol

Good luck crazylady sounds very promising!!!!

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 18:54:45

I'm telling you all if trapped wind is a symptom, I've got that alright! 3 days of aching belly!!! Its got to mean something right?!!! (Clutching at staws....much)

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 18:55:05

I'm telling you all if trapped wind is a symptom, I've got that alright! 3 days of aching belly!!! Its got to mean something right?!!! (Clutching at straws....much)

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 19:02:01

Lol mama ... me too!

I'm so excited to hear abt ur test tomorrow, are doing another cheapy or breaking out the big guns?

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 19:04:34

also sorry, good luck for tomorrow crazy, you've done well not to test until now if you ask me. You'll have to change ur name to sensible lady! grin

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 19:22:14

Thanks cheesy! Keeping the FRER til at least Friday or until I get a decent enough line on the cheap tests...only have 2 cheapies left....one for 2moro and one for friday! Then hopefully can use frer to confirm if get bfp by friday! Then obv I'd have to go out and get a cbdigi to confirm even more! Lol

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 19:24:13

Chessy you getting the trapped wind too?? Every time I eat something my stomach swells like a balloon, I've been so uncomfortable last 3 days, and was fine this morning til I ate a salad at lunch then it started again.....I feel full even when I haven't had anything to eat :/ is that what yours is like??? (Sorry really am I asking what your wind is like lol)

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 19:57:07

ha ha mama you make me laugh grin I just feel bloated, like tummy is bigger than normal and can't suck it in. Also tummy a bit jippy iykwim.

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 21:08:18

Ok ladies I am melting down... My back was agony tonight during squash so much so I couldn't keep playing. This gave me hope its a symptom but more realistically, I've done so little exercise that this is what happens. Which gave me RAGE at myself for being so lazy and useless! Then I thought irrational rage that must be a symptom. Then I nearly broke into a thousand pieces thinking if I'm not pg this time, I can't cope. Really hope this it it!

After you all saying I was patient, I have evidently lost it!

Writer I think you're heroic in your pragmatic approach! Good for you. Hope it all goes without incident!

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 21:09:26

Also I am so jealous that I am not bloated... LOST IT!??!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 21:20:43

Well i'm afraid i'm out sad Bloody literally af showed up just after I splashed out on a FR pg test, it's as though she's laughing at me! Cowbag!!

Been in a grump all aft, but have had a lovely glass of vino and have taken to Amazon, one cb fertility monitor purchased, sod the credit card! This month I mean business!!! I will not be defeated!!!

Good luck to the rest of you lovely ladies, I will continue to lurk to see all the BFPs come rolling in smile

And extra special luck to writer, I think you are amazing, my hat is firmly off to you

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 21:23:49

M33r.. Mood swings? Sounds like hormones to me, but whether pms or pregnancy I don't know.

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 21:27:34

I know wispa. I have got form for mood swings during pmt but it may also be just that I'm quite fed up of it all tonight as we all get sometimes! Not even got AF or a bFN so need to get a grip just wanted to vent ... Thanks though - nice to have somewhere to come to vent! :-)

mama31 Wed 25-Sep-13 21:38:54

Awh sorry onelife....really hope you get bfp next cycle!! And good job on the splashing out on the credit card....just right to get prepped for nxt cycle smile

M33R awwwwh I hope your ok....it gets so tough sometimes and its so hard when you think it must be time for you to be pregnant. Friday is soon enough at least the wait will be over. Good luck!!!!!

And you don't want the bloat it is so ickey sad I feel about a stone heavier :/

ELR Wed 25-Sep-13 21:40:08

Evening ladies, sorry af came one and sorry you're in a mood m33r but it could be a symptom. I have been really moody these last few days so I checked back in my diary when I had dd and according to it I was super grumpy with DH a few days before af would of been due.

So what's everyone's opinions on the internet cheapies? Af still not arrived and no spotting at all which I always get two to three days before af, boobs killing me, feeling tired and grumpy but have had all negatives on the ic tests do you think they could be wrong or am I clutching at straws??

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 21:40:41

Thanks mama!

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 21:41:16

And good luck on the October bus, onelife, now you have a fr test for next month, and I hope it gives you a bfp!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 21:42:07

Thanks mama, got my fingers crossed for you smile

wispaxmas Wed 25-Sep-13 21:44:13

I got negatives and I'm upduffed. I think the IC hpts are rubbish, I'd stick with fr and cb, though it makes testing early more expensive.

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 21:44:59

Sorry one.

So I have a stinking cold. Do I take nice drugs to deal with it or not??? Two bfns, one at 12dpo and one today at 14dpo. I think the pregnacare has calmed my usual pre af cramps and lengthened my cycle. As much as I would love to be pg I think a bfn on a cb is a bfn. Especially at 14dpo. How bad is a lemsip anyway??!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 21:45:36

Thanks ELR and wispsa, yes i'm just seeing myself as super prepared for this cycle, I've already got the pregnancy test that's going to give me my BFP - positive mental attitude!!

m33r Wed 25-Sep-13 21:47:23

Good for you onelife!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 21:48:29

Thanks purple, could you have a warm drink with lemon juice with a paracetamol if you're worried, then you know you're safe without the rest of the gubbins in a lemsip. Remember it ain't over til af starts singing, hang in there smile

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 21:51:22

Good idea one. I had a hot toddy earlier which helped but what I really want is the super night time drugs to dry up my nose and stop my throat tickling!!

Wish af would hurry up if she's coming, I want to get cracking again!!

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 22:14:26

I hear you sister

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 22:15:23

Meant that in a funny way in case you thought I was being serious, comedic value sometimes gets lost on posts!!

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 25-Sep-13 22:17:41

Lol it does indeed but I knew what you meant smile

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 22:34:26

Ah onelife soz she got you but great attitude for next mth ... it helps feeling prepared doesn't it!

M33r hope ur ok. Sometimes everything just feels rubbish doesn't it, but on the positive side this may well still be ur mth so hang in there and see what Friday brings ... hopefully 2 bfps from your double dipping!!! smile

onelifeonechance Wed 25-Sep-13 22:42:14

Thanks cheesy, will stay lurking to see how you all get on, excited for you all!!

GillyBillyWilly Thu 26-Sep-13 07:20:40

I think that list is now up to date... Checked posts on this thread and the last one!

Away in Devon with family for the rest if the week which means no POAS for me which is great really... Every other month I'm a POAS addict and test early!

I'm 10dpo today and not back home til Sunday when I'll be 13dpo and I'm not going to bother testing then either. Just gonna wait this month!

Having a break from mumsnet and testing this month has really chilled me out! smile

Sorry to anyone that AF got.
I can't believe we only have 24 BFPs on this bus though... C'mon ladies! grin

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 07:37:53

Thanks for updating the list Gilly - sounds like its been good for you to chill out a bit, I hope AF doesn't show for you and you can test sometime next week. Lots of luck.

So my temp i still up this morning, in fact after a random high on Sunday (36.85) then being to my normal post ov temp on Monday (36.6), it has been rising steadily over the last 3 days (36.68, 36.72, 36.77). Would expect my temp to go down to about 36.4 something the day before AF shows up.

If I have a 14 day LP then AF not officially due to Sunday so I guess my temp would still be high, but the increase over the last few days is getting my hopes up ... what do you guys think? Am I just over analysing things?

Mama / Lucy - have you tested yet this morning?

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 07:59:39

Hi cheesy!

Well I woke up at 5.45am which never happens, needing a pee and had really sore boobs (which is never an af symptom for me) they felt like 2 rocks and I couldn't lie on them....I swear I woke up feeling pregnant!!!

But did another IC test....again only a shadow that can prob only be seen by my eyes! Lol so (stupidly) cracked open the FRER and BFN!!!!!! I'm only 10dpo so don't know why I wasted my FR sad

But I am not kidding....I actually feel pregnant today....if I'm not I think I will be quite shocked :/ (and embarrassed). Af supposed to be due tomorrow (unless having a longer cycle which is very possible due to b6) but I usually have 4 days of spotting then af....and there's no sign. I am also sure this insane bloat/trapped wind is something to do with it as well!

Yes I'm optimimistic......someone bring me back down to earth :/

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 08:01:57

Lucy.....did you leave the apple juice out again for DH breakfast???? Lol

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 08:10:26

Ooooo Mama - so you got a shadow of a line on the cheapie - aren't they more sensitive than the FRER? Have you tried a superdrug test - they're as sensitive as the internet cheapies I think and you could see if that also gives you a bit of a line. 10dpo is still early though isn't it - when I got a positive in July I poas at 12dpo on a superdrug test and although I could just about see a line it was really faint and we didn't feel certain even then.

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 08:12:28

sorry - that wasn't really bringing you back down to earth was it, but I'm excited for you ... hope we all get bfps tomorrow!

crazylady2013 Thu 26-Sep-13 08:17:05

So I poas this morning and got a BFN and still no sign of af. Normally I would have been spotting since Tues. Don't know what my body is doing. I'm still hoping it is not af messing me around. Mama I have also been bloated and a jippy stomach the last few days so hoping that it is a positive sign for both of us. This waiting is driving me crazy.

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 08:17:11

I know cheesy its just such a faint shadow that I am def questioning it but now that I have some symptoms that feel like pg symptoms....I'm feeling quite optimisitc which would lead to a downfall :/

Yes I will prob get superdrug ones but don't want to use them today as I really think its too early with only getting a hint of a shadow on IC. Might get them today and use tomorrow morning again. I have one IC left so will use it first. Its so annoying I'm so impatient!!! Lol I really wish I could forget testing til Sunday...but I can't....I just have to know!!!!

How you holding out cheesy?? Any symptoms?? You testing with everyone else tomorrow??

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 08:26:41

BFN again here. Am putting yesterdays IC down to evapand feel pathetic for getting excited sad

DH was told to leave peepot well alone. Lol!!

Still super hot and grumpy but that could just be AF again....oh well I will keep testing until she arrives.

Gutted for you mama and crazy. You both sound preggers tho so if your not I will be shocked smile

Writerwannabe83 Thu 26-Sep-13 08:28:31

Each morning before I go to work I log on to MN to come and see who is testing and who has got BFPs grin I can't take the suspense of all these faint lines or absent AFs grin

And thanks to everyone who wished me well smile

I look forward to logging on again after work and reading all your symptom spotting posts, they keep me smiling. I just love everyone's enthusiasm!! smile

Nottalotta Thu 26-Sep-13 08:32:30

Morning alk just a quick check up on mama's testing!! Sorry it was bfn mama!!

In the spirit of bringing you down to earth....i didn't get any spotting this month and af didn't arrive til late in the day. But still i soooo hope you get your bfp!!

Am a bit behind with the chat here as i am on my 'down time' and waiting to gear up for dtd next week. Also super busy with the extra animals at the moment. Picked friend up from hospital yesterday so shes home again now, but home alone.

Best of luck to the rest of you that af hasn't got!!

ELR Thu 26-Sep-13 08:43:28

Morning ladies, haven't Poas today but still no AF and usually I would of been spotting since Tuesday like crazy feeling a little queasy and left boob hurting more than right! Did someone else have that as a symptom?
Sorry lucy and cheesey and crazy that you got bfn but there is still time!
So told DH af hasn't arrived and he is now a little excited and said ooh you might be pregnant! I told him I have done 4 ic and all bfn so prob not and he has told me off for buying cheap tests, and testing early. So told him ok I will buy the £10 ones instead and he said no no no I didn't say that just wait a week or so then buy a £10! Is he mad!!

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 08:54:22

Still no af here and no sign either. I think pregnacare has lengthened my cycles. Dosed up on cold meds too to combat snot. I figured I'd probably not gp and if I am they can't be that bad, it's not like I'm shooting up wink

Sorry to hear of the other bfns.

wispaxmas Thu 26-Sep-13 08:56:22

Don't worry, mama, I had a bfn fr 2 days before it gave me my bfp. You're still early, wait a couple days and test again if AF stays away.

Same for you, Lucy!

crazylady2013 Thu 26-Sep-13 08:56:52

ELR my H is just the same. He thought you had to wait 2wks after af is due before testing can start. I set him straight about that very quickly grin.

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 09:04:43

That waa me ELR!!! One boob still hurting lol. Yes its a symptom thats what im telling myself anyway!!!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 09:21:03

Thanks everyone!!! But I am convinced I am preggers and its just not showing up yet!! Lol listen to my insanity!!! Haha!

Well I compared mu yesterdays IC with todays and the shadow today is def darker than the one y'day....but it is still only a shadow....and not showing on other tests so in complete suspense now :/

I do have lower back pain and these achey boobs and I know this may be an af sign for most....but not for me....I never have achey boobs!!!! I will purchase superdrug tests today and will do another IC tomorrow morn and a superdrug. Not going to say to DH until its confirmed so won't be on date night tomorrow night.....but not sure what to do about drinking...he will def know something is up if I'm off the vino lol

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 09:22:47

Lucy keep testing! Might be in the same boat as me......are we.....aren't we.... :/

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 09:39:41

Hi mama. Sorry about BfN but is still early as everyone has said. You still might be able to tell on date night if you double dip. Use the IC and if the shadow is darker again (which I think is really positive - been testing for -0 months and never had any doubt so I think if you're not sure there's def something there...) then crack open a digi.

FX for you.

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 09:41:07

Purple. I wouldn't give the 'drugs' another thought! Most people prob don't know there pg nd do muh worse! Still hope for you! Don't lose hope yet!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 09:44:12

Cheesey. Thanks for the encouragement! You're the only thing that stopped me poas this morn. Be a long night for us tonight. My DH is out Si will take all I have not to poas IC tonight to try to get even a shadow before the big day tomorrow.

I hope that after tomorrow there is a big flux of BFP and not a big surge of broken hearts! Lots if symptoms and sure signs around (myself included) and just hope it's a day that will go down in MN folklore as the biggest BFP day ever!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 09:45:14

Oh also, thanks all for dealing with my meltdown. Feeling better today and hopeful but have butterflies for Tom...

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 09:55:35

Thanks m33r I'm not going to test again until middle of next week as wasted two tests and not sure what's going on with my cycle. I've loads of pg symptoms but also have come down with this cold which could explain thirst etc. We will see! Good luck to you.

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 09:58:47

Adding myself back onto the list as Gilly's missed me off:

Purplegeekygirl ttc#2, cycle14, bfp 22-??

ELR Thu 26-Sep-13 10:00:09

m33r took me ages to work out who/what Tom was and why you were having butterflies!!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 10:30:46

M33R, I don't want to do a digi until I see an actual line rather than a shadow! Lol couldn't take seeing the "NOT PREGNANT" :/

Well the sympstoms continue...have quite a bit of creamy cm today....didn't have that pre af last time!! No appetite at all....but very strange noises coming from my tum! Lol

Oh the waiting is the worst....wish I could see a proper line....like really how long is it going to take to go from a shadow to a line (as I stalk wispas pics of her tests.....)

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 10:31:44

And yes!!!!! Imagine if tomorrow was a massive bfp day for us all.....that would be immense!!!!!! smile oh I so want it to happen!!!!!

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 10:40:16

OK, let's all compare symptoms shall we? I need to do something to hurry AF up ;-)

No AF cramps
No AF (2 days late...)
No sore boobs like I normally get
No increased sex drive at end of cycle (I usually go off sex after I've ov'd then want it again before AF comes)
Thirsty and dry mouth
Tired
Feeling hotter than normal post ov
So hungry
Couple of periods of real acute nausea in the morning (blurghhh!)
Horrid taste in my mouth

Weighed up against
Sore throat from cold hence yukky taste
Developing a cold/change in seasons hence thirst/dry mouth
Taking pregnacare all cycle hence no AF yet so my cycle has lengthened and why I haven't had cramps/sore boobs
2 BFNs sad
Feeling yukky from cold hence not wanting sex
Feeding a cold hence increased appetite
Running slight temp from germs hence feeling warmer and more tired

Am on cd25 today. My app says my cycles range from 17-29 days (but 29 day cycle was when I had a chemical pg) so it's really 17-26 with the average being about 24.

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 10:47:41

Ok so my symptoms:

Snotty type cm CD6/7
Pos opk CD6 (gone that night)
No appetite from 7dpo-10dpo but full feeling in tum, very bloated (painfully) and lots of trapped wind.
10dpo woke with sore boobs (feel heavy like rocks...only 32b defo not rocks lol)
Nausea on and off from 7-9dpo.
Warm 9-10dpo.
Bfn 7dpo and 8dpo (obv)
Shadow line 9dpo
Darker shadow line 10dpo. (Is it in my head??)
No aggitation like usual pms week before.
Slight lower back pain 10dpo.
Woke this morning at 10dpo just feeling pregnant....don't know why...I just did.

Aggghhhh give me a proper line!!!!!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 10:48:08

Oh and creamy cm today.

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 10:49:22

Ok purple here are my crazy ass symptoms!!!!

Slight AF cramps - twingy on left side last night
Lower back ache - I do have a dodgy back anyway!
Left achy boob - odd
Tired - but still feeding in night grrr that is another story!
VERY hot - normal AF symptom or hot flushes?!
Oily skin - why lol?!
Ratty - last night, but today feel a bit teary

CD25 according to app but who knows when I ov'ed.

I'm not hopeful for tmrw!!!

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 10:52:31

oh and I forgot had ewcm/way increased cm on 12 days this cycle.

LH1981 Thu 26-Sep-13 11:31:48

Lots of positive symptoms - oooo! Can't wait for tomorrow!

I'm going to try and hold off a few more days and do a FR on Sunday. Symptoms have subsided for me, but still have mild cramps/odd pains, nipples still sore but less so, and lower back pain a lot less than it was.

So who's testing tomorrow? Lucy & M33r - anyone else?
xx

ELR Thu 26-Sep-13 12:29:29

Well that's me out af has turned up! Looks like it's gone straight into flow with no spotting which is most unusual for me!
So third time lucky for me next month I hope!
In a way worked out well as going on a spa weekend to Brighton next weekend and now I will be able eat drink and enjoy all the treatments!
Off I go to the October bus hopefully I've got the last seat! I will check in to see how you are all doing!

wispaxmas Thu 26-Sep-13 12:33:56

Lucy, m33r, mama, and purple, I am so excited, you all sound like you have promising symptoms! Especially the shadowy lines!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 12:44:18

I have:

CM cd 6
Pos opk cd6; gone by cd7 (late ov??)
Cd 7-9 'wet' feeling (tmi!)
Cd 8-11nausea and heightened sense of smell (DH's car)
Cd 10 & 12 crippling lower back ache (exercise??)
Cd 12 murderous mood swings / emotional teary
Cd 12 and other previous - knackered

Roll on fri!!!

Sorry ELR. Happy spa-ing though!

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 13:04:15

Oh sorry ELR sad hope your lucky next mnth and will prob meet you there at this rate!!! Can you tell im fed up lol

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 13:10:23

Lucy. I feel you're pain. Think we're all a bit sick of the waiting now! Hopefully pay off and I do sympathise!
:-)

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 13:13:07

It didnt help that I txt DH with negative update and he txt back he was gutted sad he wants another baby so much so feel sad for him too. I know we are lucky to already have children so I shouldnt be so bloody miserable!!

Wheres that wet fish gone?! Slap me now!!!!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 13:33:29

Lucy. You are very lucky to have kids but as entitled as anyone else to really want another one! I also think its great that your DH is so keen! No wet fish required!

NeuroticSweetTalk Thu 26-Sep-13 13:48:35

Afternoon ladies, I caved yesterday and did a couple of IC but they were BFNs sad I'm between 11-14 DPO and due on Saturday/Sunday so I guess I'll see.

Good luck everyone who is waiting for AF/BFP and sorry to hear AF has got some people too.

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 14:46:37

Hey everyone, have a tingly throat this afternoon, starting to wonder if all my symptoms are a viral/bug on its way rather than pregnancy :/

I don't feel the best to be honest and wouldn't be surprised if I was just getting sick sad

Dam this wait.....knowing one way or the other seems easier than not knowing :/

wispaxmas Thu 26-Sep-13 15:04:49

I'm not sure you can put faint lines on hpts down to a viral bug, mama! I'm headed up the coast for a few days, but I've brought the iPad so I can check in on you lot and catch the bfps. The June antenatal club needs you! We're all anxious worry warts at the minute, I think a few more people will be good for us blush

I'll check in tomorrow!

GillyBillyWilly Thu 26-Sep-13 15:16:40

Sorry purple I must've removed you by mistake! I'll add you later! Got my hands full with my 2 year old nephew right now! grin

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 15:32:05

Wispa I know...I'm just talking myself out of it now.....but really the lines are such a shadow and not yet showing on other tests (yes I did a superdrug one at lunch bfn sad) so I'm trying to make some sense of the situation......and trying to be more realistic that it may all be in my head :/

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 17:00:15

Not over til AF comes mama. I should talk though - AF pains and an immense feeling of release. Think I'm off this bus at the next stop! :-(

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 17:07:35

NoooooO M33R hang in there!!!!!

Nottalotta Thu 26-Sep-13 17:51:20

I'm convinced we will get another bfp or two or three on this bus!!

If i didn't have full on AF i would be thinking i was in with a chance. Quite severe nausea last night and so incredibly tired today its unbelievable. Yawn.

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 18:02:29

Oh m33r has it started? Ive given myself a stern talking to and decided tmrw will be my last IC until monday/or AF arrives. So it gives me the wkend to chill out and pray lol!!!

Hoping someone gets a bfp soon smile

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 18:07:39

Not out yet but I'm thinking its coming. As I'm still technically 'in' I'm ok and thinking at least my cycles have dropped back from 40 days to 29days... Hoping that when / if she comes, I can maintain the calm hopeful sadness rather than fall into all out dismay... Hanging on though x

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 18:11:52

I'm having cold symptoms.....but yes that will be me catching a cold lol

My heads all over the place.....think I'm preggers but can't prove it!!! Lol oh well....it continues.....

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 18:28:38

Ahhhh well im sending you 'piss of AF and stay away' vibes m33r!!!

Oh mama hope your ok....getting a cold to add to this stress is crap sad

We need something exciting to happen ladies!!!!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 18:34:17

Yes we do! We need bfps in the morning....all of us....even those who af got....ok I'm being unrealistic again....

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 18:47:26

Evening ladies, I've just got home from work so thought I'd join in with the craziness! grin I'm loving all the symptoms - mine have been:

bloating / jippy tummy
achy / tender boobs
dry mouth
temps slowly rising over last 3 days
no spotting
woke in the night for a wee last two nights

... guess I'll know tomorrow.

Mama why did you test at lunchtime (so naughty!) - try a superdrug test tomorrow with fmu if you still get a shadow on the ic as too shadows have to be good news!

M33r - I'm really hoping you're not getting AF and so pleased you've held out with me til tomorrow! smile My DH is away tonight as well so I'm going to get myself organised for the morning - gonna find a pee pot and put two tests in the bathroom ready so I don't have to think in the morning when I'm half asleep. I'm very excited, but no testing til the morning!

Good luck to everyone testing tomorrow I really hope we do have a mass get your bfp day!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 18:54:54

I know cheesy....what is wrong with me!! Wish I had not done that now :/ taking my impatience to a new level.....

We have some similar symptoms cheesy...I hope they mean a bfp!! I'm so desperate to see a more definitive result tomorrow!!! Good luck, and yes get yourself prepared and update tomorrow with your bfp!!! smile

I'm exhausted tonight!! But then again I did wake at 5.45am this morning "feeling pregnant" lol

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 19:04:13

No worries gilly!

Poor dp is as excited and hopeful as me... He keeps asking is there's signs of af appearing. Dr google says it's common for pregnacare to lengthen cycles so I am not daring to hope. Yet. Of no af next tues maybe I will but a bfp would be ace!

Good luck to everyone poas tomorrow grin

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 19:05:33

Good luck tmrw cheesy, hope you get your bfp smile

I forgot to tell you that DH elbowed me in the eye last night. God knows how lol but it bloody well hurts today and Ive got a swollen eye sad or maybe its a symptom..

Peepots at the ready then tmrw !!!

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 19:07:08

Oh I so hope I get to do that! I woke up at 5.30am this morning needing a wee - hope I don't wake up quite so early tomorrow as will have to test, won't be able to pee in a pot and go back to bed! DH away though so I can be as crazy as I like at whatever time of the morning I like! grin

LH1981 Thu 26-Sep-13 19:09:18

Good luck everyone!!
Sorry to all those who got their AF - pants!! But lots of baby wishes for next month xx

I've gone from being sure I'm pregnant, to pretty sure I'm not, and now back to 'maybe I am'
Got funny sharpish pains in my groin this afternoon which do not feel like AF (anyone else had this?) and have been peeing lots (for me).
Haven't got any sticks in the house to do it tomorrow, but may do the pee in a pot thing - btw, what have you ladies been using to pee in??
xxx

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 19:11:39

DH's fav teamug ;) lol

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 19:14:35

lol Lucy, I'd love it if that was true!

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 19:16:38

Haha! Just a plastic throw away cup I'm using....

Lucy his teamug....no wonder he elbowed you!! Lol

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 19:18:38

A plastic ikea cup which dp bans me from leaving upside down on the sink in case he inadvertently uses it to drink from in the night!

LH1981 Thu 26-Sep-13 19:18:44

Haha Lucy - don't give me ideas grin
OK, I have some plastic cups x

Writerwannabe83 Thu 26-Sep-13 19:23:25

Even if you get a BFN in the morning mama check again at night before you go on your date!! The day I got my BFP my FMU sample gave a BFN but another test at 4pm was definite BFP grin

I've had a horrible day. Went to the toilet at 4pm and there was loads of fresh red blood in my underwear, on the tissue paper and the water in the toilet bowl was completely red shock Obviously rushed straight to the hospital, it was just awful. I saw a Doctor and had an examination and another scan and thankfully baby was ok! I'm still continuing to bleed though so I'm on a 'watch and wait' stance with instruction to go straight back if the bleeding gets any heavier or I have any pains. I'm now on the sofa, curled up under the quilt with one of my cats and hoping for the best x hmm

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 19:24:36

Good luck everyone for poas tomorrow!!!!! Come on let's get lots of BFP's! Stay positive!!!! smile

lucyfluff Thu 26-Sep-13 19:28:15

Haha would I be so mean....!!!! No I use a plastic drink cup which I may keep if it gives me a big fat bfp soon smile

Oh writer, rest up and I hope you are ok smile

Im off to watch eastenders, catch up tmrw x

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 19:30:14

Oh writer I feel for you, I so hope the baby is OK. Look after yourself flowers

ELR Thu 26-Sep-13 19:36:29

Hope all ok writer sending (((((((hugs)))))))

PurpleGeekyGirl Thu 26-Sep-13 19:42:05

Hugs writer hope you're ok. Make sure you rest my dear.

Refoca Thu 26-Sep-13 19:54:58

Someone remind me that it's better to wait for fmu...so tempted to test right now

Refoca Thu 26-Sep-13 19:56:53

Oh writer...big hugs, hope it's just one of those things that happens to healthy happy pgs and the little one hangs on tight (())

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 20:01:00

Awh writer how scary for you, I'm so sorry to hear you are having such a tough time. Hugs!!!!!!! I will say my prayers and hope you and baby are ok xo

mama31 Thu 26-Sep-13 20:04:02

Refoca I'd have a cheek telling anyone to wait..... Lol

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 20:04:43

Writer. How awful!! I was having a good cry - think its over for me after believing all month I'm pg then read your post and got a grip! You have had an awful day but glad all is well. Curl up, rest and let DH run after you. Huge hug!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 20:08:11

Refoca! No! You should know that autocorrect gave me 'refocus' when I tried to type your name! So REFOCUS! Hang in there! Mass pot peeing tomorrow! It's also the big Macmillan coffee morning. Maybe we should have had a fund raiser for the biggest poas! :-)

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 20:36:13

Ah m33r, sometimes a good cry is what's needed, hope your OK now. I keep going from yeah I think I must be pregnant to oh no my symptoms have gone maybe I'm not after all ... its rubbish not knowing isn't it, but only one more sleep to the poas (or in a pot) party!

Refoca step away from the pee stick! grin

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 20:42:50

Yep cheesey. You're so right! I just wish it was the morning but also that it wasn't as I now feel like tomorrow it'll all be over... I really hope this hysteria (quite unlike me) is a symptom... Well done you! You've been a rock! I hope we both get BFP!

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 20:54:16

Me too m33r, me too. I know I haven't been trying as long as you so can't understand how fed up you must be of waiting, but since my mc I just so want to be pregnant again, its like I need to fill this big hole thats been left, does that make sense?

Refoca Thu 26-Sep-13 20:57:36

Awww, I caved :-(

Sorry...I'll do it again tomorrow though so we can have our poas party - if it's not first thing in the morning it's not really poas is it?

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:00:19

lol Refoca ... nope doesn't count? Was it bfn - how may dpo are you?

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 21:00:41

When was your mc cheesey? I don't think I'm necessarily worse off. An mc must be awful.

LH1981 Thu 26-Sep-13 21:04:06

Rest up Writer, big hugs! Hope all is OK, if it helps I know a couple of ladies who had bleeding throughout their pregnancies and both had lovely healthy babies.

I'm going to pee in a pot, then go into town and buy a FR test. Good luck, sure we must get some BFPs from all this POASing!! Xx

onelifeonechance Thu 26-Sep-13 21:15:20

Just popped in to see the pre-poas party preparations, fx for every one of you girls smile

writer sorry you've had such a hard day, take care and virtual hugs heading right your way

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:21:43

It was July - I got my bfp first cycle of trying, but lost it at about 5.5wks, last cycle was first after so was long and then this is my first normal cycle since, so only cycle 3, but feels like a lot has happened. I'm ok about it now really just gets to me occasionally if I think about it. I think testing tomorrow is just making me think about it a bit tonight that's all. Anyway onwards and upwards, whatever happens tomorrow it will be whats meant to be. Remind me of that if I get a bfn tomorrow!

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 21:23:52

Cheesey. You're doing great! FX for you .., again!!! What time you up?

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:30:50

Thanks, you're a star!

Need to be in work so prob up about 6.30 / 7.00 ... arrrrghhhh

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 21:32:32

Eeeesh! That's early. I'll be up at 8/8.30. Will check in right away!

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:38:43

Yeah I know it sucks - I have meetings at work but will try to check in during day as well.

m33r Thu 26-Sep-13 21:39:42

I'll update immediately. I expect to wait up to your BFP!

wispaxmas Thu 26-Sep-13 21:47:20

Just back in the hotel room after a lovely dinner and crazy person I am, I thought I'd check in on you lot. Sounds like everyone has their pee pots and sticks ready for the morning.

I really hope we get some good news!

Writer, how awful, I hope the bleeding stops soon, just keep cosy on the couch with the cat!

And as for me.... I think I've got a cold. A goddamn cold on the DAY we go away. I've googled what drugs are allowed, and I think I'm going out to find some lozenges tomorrow for my throat, which is on fire. I can't take lemsip sad. And I wish there was some way for me to turn off the faucet that is my nose! Ugh!

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:47:51

Hope so ... and yours!

Right I'm logging off now, got a few bits I should be doing rather than sitting on MN - you can tell the hubbys away!

Luck to all tomorrow!

MrsB2013 Thu 26-Sep-13 23:10:02

Aww writer I hope you are ok. Must be so scary for you flowers

Good luck everyone for the morning poas party!!

PurpleGeekyGirl Fri 27-Sep-13 07:03:24

Another bfn for me sigh. No sign of af either. Normally I'd have had snotty yellow cm by now as my cervix opens or pink cm. wish af would hurry up if she's coming but at least I feel better about snaffling cold meds now!

Good luck to everyone else.

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:03:25

OK ladies lets get this pee party started .... with the first BFP!!! grin grin grin grin

So I woke up at 3.45am needing a wee, couldn't wait so thought bugger it and went and did a test. Superdrug test had a line so did a CB digi and got 1-2 wk pregnant! Not had much sleep since then so proper tired but totally worth it!

I'm completely thrilled although also a bit nervous at the same time - really really hope I have a very sticky bean this time.

Whos next ... I hope we have loads of bfps today smile

PurpleGeekyGirl Fri 27-Sep-13 07:03:53

Congrats cheesy grin

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:05:08

Ah Purple I'm sorry, my cross posts and mine sounds a bit insensitive now, sorry. At least no AF means you still have a chance, hope you feel better soon flowers

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:05:57

Thanks! We keep posting in unison!

PurpleGeekyGirl Fri 27-Sep-13 07:09:49

Aww don't be silly! Am a bit green yes but also v happy for you!!

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 07:11:42

Congrats cheesy that's great news!!!! So happy for you!!!!!! smile smile smile amazing!! smile

Well I'm none the wiser....another slight shadow on IC and a BFN on superdrug....think I need to just forget about it for a few days and see if AF arrives if not test again later. Its really doing my head in but I think I need to accept that there is no definitive line so its most likely BFN.

Cheesy how many dpo are you today??? Have you told DH??

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:18:03

Ah thanks purple and mama smile

Sorry you still don't have a definite answer mama. I'm 13dpo today so probably a few days ahead of you. Why don't you leave it for the weekend and see what Monday brings when you're a couple of days on.

DH not here and I want to tell him in person so going to have to wait til later. I know he'll be happy but after last time I know he'll also be nervous until we reach 12 wks, as will I, but I think for him it was difficult seeing how upset I was last time so he'll want to be sure everything is ok before he gets too excited I think. Still will be awesome to tell him, I'm very excited, not sure how I'm going to concentrate at work today.

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 07:25:01

Yes cheesy I think you are right! I had told DH I wouldn't be testing til Sunday anyway....even tho I've been testing every day!!!! :/ so will maybe say to him I'm leaving it til Monday. But think in the mean time I'm going to take it as a BFN, have a few drinks on our date and have a nice night!! Life must go on.....

I'm sure your DH will be excited and nervous like you say but it is such good news, he will be so happy smile enjoy your wkend sharing your excitement together!!! Lovely news, really pleased for you and you def deserve it smile

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 07:39:21

Right ladies I have to say this publicly to make sure I stick to it:

I will not be testing again until Monday if AF has not arrived by then. I'm going to enjoy my weekend and will not obsess or symptom spot anymore!! Going to put it to the back of my mind and get on with life. (If I get past lunchtime today without doing another test sure that will be progress lol)

ELR Fri 27-Sep-13 07:43:43

Wow cheesey you tested at 3.45am and only came on here at 7.04am to tell us now that is restraint!! Massive congratulations!!
Sorry purple and mama

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:49:00

Thats a really good plan mama - we're here to make you stick to that smile

Thanks ELR - yeah I went back to bed (got a little bit sleep), figured no one else would be as crazy as me to be up testing at that time!

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 07:49:38

Cheesey! Amazing news. Congrats!

I also woke at 4am; peed and cup and left it til I wakened. After a very vivid BFP dream, I got to test BFN. Poas again I'm case 4am was too early... BFN!

Think DH and I need a rethink. December to September is a long time and lots of 2ww which is lots of life on hold time...

Absolutely thrilled for you though cheesey and glad you have news for DH !!!

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 07:50:32

Good plan mama!!!

M33R sorry about your bfn....gutted for you, I really thought this was your month! sad I hope that you don't have to wait much longer for your bfp! Xx

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 07:56:52

Thanks mama. Me too. Am gutted.

Good morning ladies, I kept followingyour feed, I'm 1/2 days late, stil bfn, am I clutching at stars here?? I'm going crazy. No af symptoms like usual apart from creamy cm and my left boob is larger than normal!! And hurts. Any advice or guidance needed!! X x x

Clutching at straws!! Hate auto correct!!!

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 08:03:12

Thank mrr3 and gilly - nice to see my name there on the bfp list! smile

Ah no m33r I'm gutted for you sad I really thought you would get a bfp. I hope its not far away for you. Have you been to see the doctor at all, after 9 mths I would think they would do some tests for you if you wanted.

NeuroticSweetTalk Fri 27-Sep-13 08:08:18

Congrats Cheesy :D

I forgot to POAS this morning since I woke up late and had to bomb it to work. But since I'm not due AF until tomorrow/Sunday I might just wait to test since I got a BFN a few days ago on a IC.

Fx everyone else testing today/tomorrow/Sunday smile

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 08:08:45

Yeah we've started that process. I've had 21 day and am on the list for the hosp. Not sure what we should do next tbh. Just gutted. Might need to give up my MN-ing but great to see you on that list cheesey!

wispaxmas Fri 27-Sep-13 08:17:10

Congrats, cheesey! grin

Everyone else, AF hasn't gotten you yet, hopefully it's just too early for you.

crazylady2013 Fri 27-Sep-13 08:24:32

Congrats Cheesey!!!

I got another BFN this morning and still no sign of af. Very strange as I'm normally so regular. This waiting ia driving me nuts. Does any one have any experience with Boots own brand tests? I've been using these as they are cheap (2 for £4.99) but should I be using something better? I don't really want to waste money if I'm still going to get BFNs.

Fx for all those that are stuck on BFN. Hoping they all change to BFPs by Monday.

Refoca Fri 27-Sep-13 08:29:09

Bfn here :-( knew it would be tbh, feel really unpregnant have no idea re timing etc this month...maybe AF has got back to a 3/5/3/5 week pattern rather than the relentless 3/3/2.5/3 or maybe AF will be with me by the end of the weekend, who knows...I'll stay here until the end of the month, but can't imagine I'll be testing again before Oct now.

Congrats cheesy, good luck everyone still waiting for their bfp, happy weekend to everyone!!!

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 08:51:18

Every cloud has a silver lining.....

Lost 2lbs this week with my jippy tummy smile

lucyfluff Fri 27-Sep-13 09:06:42

BFN again here! Not even a shadow! I'm taking the weekend off now to chill out, and not poas until Monday at the earliest. We Dtd last night and normally it would kick start AF this close but nothing so far. Saying that I have zero symptoms except being hot still!!

Anyway CONGRaTS cheesey that's great news smile

All the bfn's hugs to you - it's crap all this waiting around but it's deffo not over yet so hang on in there smile

GillyBillyWilly Fri 27-Sep-13 09:08:52

Refoca what's all this 3/5/3/5?! I've literally no idea what you're talking about!! grin

GillyBillyWilly Fri 27-Sep-13 09:17:30

I've decided to never test again unless I'm late!

Currently 11dpo and have no particular urge to test which is a great feeling! I've kept away from tests and partially kept away from mumsnet and I DO feel better for it!

Previous months I've started testing with cheap tests at 9dpo onwards and it's just a bit obsessive (no offence to anyone obsessing... Trust me, that's usually me!) grin

If AF doesn't arrive by next Monday I will test... But not before. If anything it's just a waste of money and once I've tested once I can't help but keep testing daily!

Last month I had faint lines on multiple tests and multiple brands on 9, 10 and 11 DPO and by 14dpo they had disappeared and I had a really really heavy AF. I think it was a chemical pregnancy and I don't want to have to deal with that again!

Feeling good this month... Just... Chilled smile

Sending out my good calm chilled vibes to everyone!

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 10:21:30

Gilly. Great to hear you so positive. I hated last month for you! I'm not too bad with early testing but do obsess and am thinking I need to take a break too. 10mnths in I think DH and I maybe need to put it on the back burner and just wait as we go through all the tests and hope for the best in the meantime.

Great to hear you're calm and thanks for spreading it around! :-)

GillyBillyWilly Fri 27-Sep-13 10:33:23

Only thing that's on my mind at the moment is that if AF comes next week and we inevitably keep trying next cycle, I will be in disneyland during my 2 week wait!

Then what do I do?! Go on rides? Not go on rides? If I don't go on rides it will make people think I'm pregnant and then if AF comes again I will be sad i didn't go on them! ARGGHHHH.

So really hoping I get a bfp next week! At least then I can say no the rides and people can think its cos I'm pregnant if they want... And they'd be right! grin

Cupcake1985 Fri 27-Sep-13 10:44:43

Congrats cheesy! Sorry to the bfn people sad i have kept looking on here so see how you all got on. I hope everyone gets a bfp soon! Im 5+2 now and still the only symptoms are sore boobs and slight occassional cramping and back ache.

internationallove985 Fri 27-Sep-13 10:49:25

Hi Writer. Hope you're feeling better. Thank goodness your little miracle is okay. Take it easy.

My symptoms are.
Well I've had quite a lot of sickness
Metalic taste.
lower back pain
Unusually warm
Headache.
He's taking me for a meal later. If A.F has got plans to turn up. I hope she at least has the decency to stay away untill tomorow. He's taking me shopping and for a meal later, so if the horrible witch does turn up. I'll just have to repay him by giving him (whispers) oral, as he is quite the old fashioned type finacially and wont let me pay for anything. xx

ThoraNomiki Fri 27-Sep-13 12:19:30

Congratulations Cheesy! Sorry to see a few more BFNs this morn.
I'm holding off now until Tues to take another test so I should probably join the October bus.
I have pretty much zero symptoms atm just some random mild crampy feelings now and then and a breast tingle once in a while. I've not seen any patterns in my symptoms yet and been a bit rubbish at checking CM this "cycle". I like the more chilled out feeling I have at the moment but I doubt it will last. I think it's just because we're heading towards this 2 month TTC break and I'm weirdly looking forward to it so I don't mind if I don't get pregnant.
No worries about whether I can drink or eat soft cheese. No crazy weekly testing for ages. I can just chill.

Writer I'm sorry to see your having a bit of a worrying time. I hope everything is ok. Make sure you are taking things easy!

ThoraNomiki Fri 27-Sep-13 12:25:05

I'll just have to repay him by giving him (whispers) oral

hmm Do it if you'll enjoy it not to "pay him back" for the meal he bought you...

MrsB2013 Fri 27-Sep-13 13:42:03

Congrats Cheesy

Sorry to those that had a bfn flowers

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 13:59:19

Thanks for all the congratulations guys, means a lot. I will keep checking in to see if we have anymore bfps by Monday. Those af still hasn't got, im keeping my fingers crossed for you.

M33r sorry didn't realise you had already started the process. I hope you get some positive news soon, but in the meantime all you can do is try to relax, easier said than done im sure. You'll get there though and then it will all be worth it.

GillyBillyWilly Fri 27-Sep-13 14:01:43

International... "Repay" him by giving him oral?! blush

Writerwannabe83 Fri 27-Sep-13 14:04:57

Writerwannabe83 Fri 27-Sep-13 15:01:25

Hi mama and cheesy - I'm not doing too good today. The bleeding has slowed down but I'm feeling really low. I just keep bursting into tears. I thought pregnancy was going to be an amazing and exciting time but in reality it has been a nightmare. I have been scared, upset, worried and ill for the last 8 weeks of my life and my excitement about my future is slowly crumbling away. I'm trying to stay positive but it's just too much. My boss wants to sign me off Sick for the remainder of my pregnancy. This baby means everything to me and my husband and when I saw all that fresh blood just seeping out of me yesterday I felt worried and scared but also accepting, as if this horrible end was always going to be the destiny of my pregnancy. I just wanted to have a happy and healthy pregnancy but I'm just so unhappy.

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 15:08:32

Oh writer im so sorry, but remember the scan said baby was ok. See how you go over the next couple of days and then try to get another scan to put your mind at rest. I know how scary and upsetting it is to see that blood, but for some people it can be ok and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're one of them.

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 15:09:40

Mama you crack me up ... yep big fat cheesy smile here grin

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 15:16:10

Awwwwh writer I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling sad it is such an emotional time for you but you must stay positive and take care of yourself. Rest up as much as you can and just follow all the doctors orders, say your prayers and try not to pre-empt things before they happen. I hope the bleeding stops and you have some good news soon. HUGS.

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 15:17:10

I'm smiling too cheesy....until af shows...ill keep smiling smile

internationallove985 Fri 27-Sep-13 15:44:33

Hi mama, apology accepted. yes I am me and very happy to be I don't think anyone has more fun than me. Still no sign of A.F so FX, mind you she's not due till tomoorow so she could still pounce, talking of pouncing that's what I'll be doing later.
On a serious note after suffering a miscarriage that completley devestated me and also being blessed with my beautiful D.D I would never lie about something so close to my heart. I am a hardworking single mum who has better things to do with my time than make up crack pot stories about ttc. I am actually quite hurt by that comment t.b.h but I wont hold a grudge as it was I am sure it was posted without meaning to cause upset. Also may I embarrass myself and ask what's a catfish.xx
Hi Writer. I'm a receptionist/Administrator, but being an escort. Getting paid for sexy time seems like arguably the best job in the world.
xx

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 16:03:11

International def not intended to hurt or upset you!! You are def one of a kind I just think you surprise us sometimes that's why I asked if you are a catfish! Good to know you are real and I respect that you are a hardworking single mum.....who is just obsessed with sex!!!! Lol

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 16:03:58

I apologise if I've hurt your feeling was meant in good humour also!!

ThoraNomiki Fri 27-Sep-13 16:09:05

Aw Writer I've got everything crossed for you. I hope the bleeding stops very soon. In the meantime feet up, tea in one hand, chocolate in the other! x

internationallove985 Fri 27-Sep-13 16:29:52

Hi mama. Enjoy your date. Hope A.F stays away.
You're definatly right about one thing though I am obsessed with sex. (L.O.L) XX

JellyBeanDavey Fri 27-Sep-13 16:44:51

Hello ladies!!

Just a quick pop in to say hello and to tell you AF finally came today (cd79) with no intervention. Which sounds a bit more promising. Though I have have been in a hell of pain.

I have been sooo hormonal it's unbelievable. I've been crying at night and moody as hell. Weeing a lot and very sore nipples up until Wednesday. Even today, we we're about to go into the new forest wildlife park (which I'd been looking forward to since yesterday) and I just burst into tears bcos I was in so much pain and couldn't justify going in there, paying money and then barely staying sad

So even though AF is here, I'm still not going to post on mn as it has taken my mind of ttc since not posting. But I am breaking one rule and using my cb monitor (as haven't used it yet).

Congratulations to all the bfps. I'll be checking in occasionally still. Good luck and FX!! smile

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 16:46:03

Thanks inernational I will......and you enjoy......your sex....

Just lurking still. Not read back all the way, but got to writer.
Keep strong honey. I had bleeding all the way through with my ds. My first bleed was New Year's Eve when out with friends, I'd only found out 3 weeks before. My mum phoned my mw and got me in for a scan with a couple of days and everything was fine.
I hope everything is ok and you are being looked after. If you are worried about anything, I strongly recommend you phone your mw or the hospital, mine were fantastic, couldn't have asked for better, and I had numerous scans and checks.
Don't hold back, help is always there when you need it xxx

Congratulations cheesy!
Mama and everyone else, good luck for testing.
International, just wondering if your dd was conceived without the father not knowing you we're trying?

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 17:47:54

Writer. Hang in there. Thinking of you and sending you all good wishes and happy thoughts! Hopefully this will clear up soon and you can start enjoying your pg. best wishes!!!!

mama31 Fri 27-Sep-13 18:08:20

Thanks choccy!! I still feel preggers despite the bfns lol still clinging to the side of the bus with optimism!!!

How you keeping choccy???

Off out on my date, best not drink too much since I'm convinced I'm preggers.....what a loser right?? Lol

Enjoy your night mama. All good ta, coming up to ov hopefully this weekend smile

Nottalotta Fri 27-Sep-13 18:33:28

Sorry you are having a bad time writer do take it easy with the cat and i do hope all remains well with you. Anecdotes are probably useless but heres one for you - friend became pregnant after two cycles and was so excited she told everyone immediately. Even got her bfp at work! She had bleeding at about 7 weeks. Went home and had a few days off. It stopped. Baby fine so far and due in a fortnight!! Really good luck to you. X

PurpleGeekyGirl Fri 27-Sep-13 18:35:49

I think the issue international is your need to shove in our face, in every post, your totally amazing and utterly insatiable sex life. I'm nearly 40. I get it. I was young once too. But I don't need to come on to a ttc forum and read about someone trying to show off their frankly ridiculous sex life to compensate for not having a stable and loving relationship with a partner with all the gory graphic detail you like to include. There are many other suitable forums on t'internet for you to do that. Start a blog. Set up a YouTube channel. It's not appropriate for a ttc bus imho. I feel sorry for you tbh.

I wish you all the best in your ttc journey, however I do wish you would be honest with your sperm donor. It's not fair on him and it's not fair on any child you may or may not conceive. And it does make me question how much of what else you tell us is also true.

Sorry if the above hurts or offends but I've been sitting on my hands for long enough. I'll go back to just ignoring your posts again if that's easier.

m33r Fri 27-Sep-13 18:37:42

If we're doing anecdotes for writer... If they help... And if they don't writer, please ignore. Sis in law had a similar nightmare and now has the most cheerful, cutest (bias??), already walking 11month old son. Went two weeks over term too! Good vibes your way x

What purple said smile

Hi Everyone,
I got my BFP in the August bus, and I'm 9 weeks today.

Just checking in to see the recent BFPs.

Writer so sorry to hear what you're going through. Try to rest and stay positive. I'm sure at your stage statistics are on your side and it's very rare that things go wrong after the golden 12 weeks.

Cheesy so so pleased for you, we miscarried at about the same time, at about the same stage too. I was hoping we both wouldn't have to wait too long for a BFP and over the moon that you have one now.

Good luck to everyone still testing.

lucyfluff Fri 27-Sep-13 19:06:57

Well said purple!!!! There is definatly a time and place to say things!!!

@ writer - I have had two bleeds with second/third pregnancies, one bright red blood. Checked at epu and fine in both cases. I hope you are ok and resting up smile

GillyBillyWilly Fri 27-Sep-13 19:11:07

International you are nice to everyone and I'm not saying you're not a lovely person but I have to agree with purple.

The stuff you post is totally unnecessary to the point I feel I have to ignore it else I will just say something rude!

The majority of us are married or in long term serious relationships and desperate to conceive.
SOME people have fertility issues, low libidos, are with men with stamina issues... All sorts...!

You are endlessly shagging someone who has NO IDEA that you are ttc and that in itself is WRONG in my opinion. But the worst part is hearing all about your manic sex life every day which quite frankly no one wants to know about!

Purple said she's 40... She's gets it... She was young once but actually age is nothing to do with it. I'm 27 and I find your posts simply TOO MUCH and also just totally cringeworthy and weird.
