hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

cheesysmile Wed 07-Aug-13 19:22:32

Hello MrsA, I'm not really sure, trying to work dates out myself after MC, but if you assume 6th July to be CD1 then if I've counted correctly you are currently on CD33. Of course dates may be a bit mucked up with the MC, but I think I would take a test with FMU tomorrow and see what it says. Fingers crossed for you let me know how you get on smile

MrsRV Fri 09-Aug-13 06:28:04

OMG, I hope it's a BFP for you MrsA. I see you have returned to TTC... As have we. Still no sign of AF for me either - tested last weekend and big fat horrible NEGATIVE. Boooooooo!!!!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 09-Aug-13 15:15:04

hi ladies smile thanks for your responses, I'll probably test in the next few days as I still have no sign of AF appearing :/ MrsRV when will you be testing again? x

MrsAnderson22 Fri 09-Aug-13 15:15:55

cheesysmile, are you ttc? x

MrsAnderson22 Sat 10-Aug-13 12:44:02

Bfn this morning sad just have to keep plodding on and waiting for AF I suppose! I really thought it would have been here by now! how are you ladies?

MrsRV Sat 10-Aug-13 14:57:54

It's a bloody rollercoaster isn't it? One minute you think you are, next minute u think you're not, then you do a test and even though its negative you cling to the hope its just too early! Anyway, AF arrived for me last night... At least this will start my cycle again so I know when I am and can revert to trusty shag app grin good lunch Mrs A. Keep me posted. Just finished a soft play session with DD and shattered, remind me why I want another one??? Mrs A I didn't realise you already had 2 little ones! How old are they? Girls or boys? NOSY. Sat in car at Sainsburys while DD sleeps and hubby is buying Saturday night supplies - hence the essay and all the questions... I have 5 spare minutes! grin

MrsRV Sat 10-Aug-13 14:59:30

P.s. good luck not good lunch! Although, not wishing you a bad lunch... A good lunch is always nice. Seriously, 5 minutes spare time is clearly too much!! grin

MrsAnderson22 Sat 10-Aug-13 18:30:42

hi MrsRV!! You're comments always make me smile smile no AF for me yet, just wish it would appear! I have a DD aged 12 and a DS aged 9!! big gap but I'm only 28 and hubby 35 so still feel young enough to do it ha! I'm also full time at uni studying for a degree in social work, hubby is a stay at home dad as DD is disabled and needs round the clock care, he's more than happy to be at home with #3 too, DD does go to school from 9am-3.15pm so he will only have 1 child to contend with haha!!.....

p.s I had a lovely lunch anyway lol, i made tuna and bean salad with baby spinach :D

p.p.s.....hoping my AF will be here in the next week, we do seem to do things a week apart, me and you! smile

MrsAnderson22 Sat 10-Aug-13 18:45:13

MrsRV....I meant to add, how long was it from your first day of bleeding to AF? x

MrsRV Sat 10-Aug-13 20:16:59

Defo young enough for another! maybe even a couple! grin One of my best friends is 30, same as me, her eldest is 16 in October and she's pregnant with her 5th!!! Crazy girl. She's just had some news that her new little girl is going to be born with severe disabilities and baby is having to have blood transfusions every 2 weeks via a huge needle through her tum. Tough times but shes so positive & upbeat. I kind of feel like its put MC into perspective. I haven't told her about being preggers or the MC as I don't want her to play down her pregnancy in anyway. She needs to be as positive as she can without having to watch what she says for fear of upsetting me.

Get you with your posh lunch. We went to the harvester.... Needed a little treat after the traumatic morning I had. Decided it would be a great idea to take some old clothes to "cash4clothes". An experience never to be repeated. Next time I shall stick with being a good person & giving my crap to charity!!!!! grin

Anyway, AF exactly 4 weeks almost to the hour from my heavy big bleed. Must be 6ish weeks from when I first started bleeding just a little bit.

Ordered a million pregnancy tests off of eBay in readiness for this cycle.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 10-Aug-13 22:26:44

it's been 5 weeks to the day since my initial bleed, 4 weeks and 2 days since my heavy bleed! so hopefully I'll get AF soon!

I feel for your friend, I really do, she sounds like an amazingly optimistic person though! good for her!

I have never wanted to feel niggling cramp so much in my life! I really want sore boobs, cramps, mood swings....the lot haha! I feel like I need my AF to come so I can start to feel normal, and get my cycle back to normal! either that or a bfp!! it's so hard when you don't know when to test! x

MrsRV Sun 11-Aug-13 07:07:20

I was exactly the same. Never been so happy to see AF! AF is a bit weird and not like normal but hey ho, it's still AF and a sign that all has returned as it should be. I'm sure yours will arrive shortly too!

MrsAnderson22 Sun 11-Aug-13 21:01:11

woop woop! ( never thought I'd celebrate this but....) I have woken up with sore breasts, on the sides and under my arms! could be AF coming smile could be pregnancy :D, wee'd an awful lot today, feeling like I'm never 'empty'...could be infection I suppose :/ could be pregnancy :D, heartburn day 6 now, could be acid reflux (I am on lansoprazole for this anyway...), could be pregnancy :D....phew haha!

Positivementakattitude Sun 11-Aug-13 21:13:20

Hiya mrs A and mrs rv can I join in please? Xx

MrsAnderson22 Sun 11-Aug-13 21:37:50

of course you can smile the more, the merrier as they say :D x

Positivementakattitude Sun 11-Aug-13 22:14:56

Thanks Mrs A I mc my angel July and first AF since arrived yday feeling strangely ok ? Or maybe trying too not quite sure was hoping wouldn't come obv tried poas 3 times all bfn not sure if u ovulated. Or whether to test this month or even when,

On other hand glad AF here as should be all systems go for next month.

Fx bfp coming soon mrs a when are you going to test ? X

Loved reading all posts

MrsAnderson22 Sun 11-Aug-13 23:43:04

sorry if TMI but I have literally pee'd 5 times in 1 hour!!!! I might just set up a bed in the bathroom :/

I think I'll be testing again possibly tuesday? wednesday? I don't know.....the waiting kills me!

p.s sorry for your loss, hugs to you! AF will hopefully bring you some comfort, knowing your cylce will be back to normal.....wishing you all the luck in the world for a bfp in the very very near future :D x

Positivementakattitude Mon 12-Aug-13 00:06:42

Lol oh gosh annoying but hopefully a very very good sign ? I know what you mean I have been poas crazy even a week before AF due in the hope my imaginary heartburn and residual symptoms were preg.

When was your AF due ? I even had a period with my first preg and tested 2 days before bfn so may test again(just as an excuse ) but have to make sure dont we lol

And thanks Hun yeh defo comfort in that been quite lucky in sense wasn't as horrific as some some experience and was expecting blood bath of a AF but has been pretty normal tbh hopefully means back in full working order xxx

MrsAnderson22 Mon 12-Aug-13 00:24:42

not really sure when AF is/was due :/ my mc lasted from 6th-15th july, before then my cycle was bang on 28 days every month! I'm useless at working out dates so completely clueless really. I just assumed it would have been here by now, or at the very least, my normal pre AF cramps would have! xxx

Positivementakattitude Mon 12-Aug-13 00:58:36

Yeh I was the same never needed to mark as would like clockwork nurse did say after mc can be 4-6 weeks for period but I did have sore back cramps and my usual period spot! Don't know how you haven't caved and tested but fingers crossed AF doesn't show and you have BFP positive soon

I just ordered 5 early preg test 10miu for just 1.70 amazon !!! Not worth wondering for that price ! Xxx fx for u Hun xx

MrsAnderson22 Mon 12-Aug-13 10:22:49

aaaah....I caved and tested this morning! couldn't see a line but still convinced I'm pregnant!! could be that I've tested too early, I used an Answer test 100mIU... :/ anyway it might all be in my head BUT my boobs are telling me different! x

MrsRV Mon 12-Aug-13 19:36:44

Now you've tested you won't be able to stop! Get yourself on eBay & buy some early tests, they are so cheap. I have mine at the ready for a few weeks time.

MrsPositive grin welcome! I was expecting a horror show too with AF but its also been fine although bit heavier today and sure I saw a bit of clotting earlier. Hope it trails off soon as normal and then I'm on it... Literally grin ha!!!!

For now though, I will take advantage of going to bed & being able to let myself fall straight to sleep!

MrsA, keep us posted wont you. The sore boobs was my very first symptom with DD... Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh EXCITING.

cheesysmile Mon 12-Aug-13 22:28:44

Evening ladies - lots going on here since last week.

MrsA sounds like you didn't use a very sensitive test, aren't the superdrug ones 10mIU? So still could be BFP! Will keep my FX for you.

Yes I'm also ttc. I didn't want to wait after the mc, just wanted to get back on it as soon as I could. My mc started on 23 July at about 5 wks and then at a scan on 2nd Aug I had a negative test and was told there was nothing left. So I have assumed CD 1 to be 23rd which puts me on CD 21 today, but as I don't think I've ovulated yet I'm wondering if maybe I'm about a week out or something.

Do any of you take your BBT? Starting taking mine again day after bleeding started and has been a bit all over the place, although does seem to have gone down now so hoping I will still be able to see it rise after ovulation.

Good luck MrsRV and Positive for your new cycles and hoping we will all have sticky beans soon smile

MrsAnderson22 Mon 12-Aug-13 22:38:03

hi smile nope, not a very sensitive test but hubby bought them and to him a stick is a stick grin I will be on ebay/amazon tonight to order some cheap super sensitive ones!

symptoms aren't getting any better, in fact boobs are more tender under my armpits and on the sides, and the heartburn is a nightmare! will keep you all posted though smile

good luck everyone!!!! x

cheesysmile Mon 12-Aug-13 22:53:21

Oooo how exciting, really hope its good news for you!

MrsAnderson22 Mon 12-Aug-13 23:25:18

thanks smile
going by your method I am CD38! And 53 days since my last period. I did bleed for 10 days during my mc though...

MrsAnderson22 Tue 13-Aug-13 00:30:50

just ordered my super sensitive tests!! I'm a night owl, I do most of my work at night, going to sleep around 3am and waking at 7am, now I'm rambling, while working and watching tonight's soaps in my bed!! multi tasking.....or procrastinating.... probably the latter confused

cheesysmile Tue 13-Aug-13 07:56:04

Hope the tests turn up soon then MrsA. How do you survive on such little sleep, I'm still tired when I wake up at 7am even if I've gone to bed at 11pm! Although hopefully I will have to get used to less sleep sometime soon - TTC #1.

My method for counting the days is probably wrong after mc, just feel I need to count from somewhere!

MrsRV Wed 14-Aug-13 19:23:02

MrsAnderson22 Wed 14-Aug-13 23:43:03

nope, no news. tests haven't arrived yet BUT I'm cramping tonight :D boobs still super sore! fingers crossed for AF coming soon!! think I'll feel 'back to normal' if it comes! where are you in your cycle/ttc/ovulating MrsRV? x

Positivementakattitude Thu 15-Aug-13 04:44:20

Hi mrs A and cheesy and rv hope you all ok I'm still bleeding very heavy 6 days now worried usually 2-3 day AF. How are we all anyway ? We all doing ok ?

Fx for BFP I've ordered conceive plus lube anyone tried these ? I'm re- thinking even trying again tbh fear maybe just disappointment tbh it's such a high and low and this AF is depressing me xxx

6 days heavy tampon and pad when would this become worrying !?

MrsRV Thu 15-Aug-13 06:58:22

Positive don't worry!! I'm the same, day 6 of AF for me and the last 4 days have been unusually heavy and AF is usually only 3-4 days like you!!

I'm also feeling all over the place & crying loads. Feel really quite down too. I think it's the hormones. Lets hope we all get back to normal soon! Xx

MrsAnderson22 Thu 15-Aug-13 18:54:51

hi ladies, this might be quite confusing but here goes...

if I'd had a normal AF in July I would be due my AF again tomorrow, cramping last night and a little today made me feel it was going to happen soon. However, I went to the loo this morning and when I wiped it was very very light pink, watery, so I thought, ok this is different, I dont4 normally spot before AF but at least I know it's coming. BUT I've just gone again and this time it was like a brown discharge when I wiped :/ this looks the same as last time which was implantation bleeding!! its been 10 days since we bd'd because I've been feeling quite grumpy and low it even possible it could be implantation bleeding? obviously I know it could also be spotting before AF which isn't normal for me but then again I'm not expecting this month's AF to be normal!!

hope everyone's mood lifts soon smile xx

MrsRV Thu 15-Aug-13 19:47:58

Mrs A, could be implantation but that's exactly how my AF started this month too & a few days of that followed by a few days of heavy bleeding & its just tapering off now. My AF has been far from normal. Still feel shit. sad At least the end is in sight now. Have put on weight, look like crap & have a wedding on Saturday. Amazing.

MrsAnderson22 Thu 15-Aug-13 19:54:43

yeah my cramping is pretty bad, not like sharp pains just really really dull aching and almost like a pulling sensation! oh well, I'm sure it'll come to a head in the next few days. hope you have a good time on Saturday though, might take your mind off things xx

cheesysmile Thu 15-Aug-13 20:07:57

Evening ladies, sorry you're not feeling good MrsRV and Positive. Hope AF leaves you both soon and you can try to get back to normal. Its no wonder you feel down right now, having AF hormones plus I think it probably bring back the MC memories. So be nice to yourselves!

I've started to exercise again lately which has actually made me feel better about myself. I used to do quite a bit, but one thing and another meant I haven't done much for a few months. Was feeling quite down after the mc and also kinda frumpy so the exercise really has helped. Going to try and make an effort to keep it up.

I think I'm at ovulation stage of my first post mc cycle right now as getting all the signs. So based on that think I'll be testing on about the 30th (if AF doesn't show up before).

cheesysmile Thu 15-Aug-13 20:09:04

Mrs A - hope you find out one way or another soon! Keeping FX for you its a BFP rather than AF.

MrsAnderson22 Fri 16-Aug-13 14:14:52

well as predicted by my app, my AF arrived this morning! THANK GOD! I was in agony last night, cramps in my stomach, aching legs, sweating!!! urgh! so my cycle looks to be pretty spot on, if I'd had AF last month it would have been due again today, so looks like we're all having a POAS date within the next month or so haha, good luck ladies smile xx

Positivementakattitude Fri 16-Aug-13 20:13:02

Mrs A sorry AF turned up but hopefully good sign for you when will you expecting your bfp ?

Mrs rv thank you I've been the same like my body doesn't know what to do have 4 massive pimples probably 4 months worth normally get one during period my face looks like a dot - dot picture haha

Cheesy smile sorry same for you and exercise is a good call to be honest haven't myself either

Thankfully I've stopped bleeding today yayyyy massive clear out hoping a good thing means ready to conceive again I'm hoping, ovulation sticks and preg tests have arrived yay !!! Next week is the time.

I was speaking to lady on mn we misscarried same time she got her bfp chuffed for her but also gutted obv BUT she said they used conceive plus and worked - worth a shot I suppose anyone got any experience with it never one for lubes lol but always worth a go

Busy busy opening new office hiring and recruiting but always time for baby dancing ! Ovul should be next weekend so plenty chance too hopefully bank holiday yay lol when you all ovulating !?

Also lady used to prop her bum after didn't do that maybe also worth a shot haha so to speak

Baby dust smiles and hugs first AF after was definetly roller oater hopefully out next ones will be so long ago will be a distant memory

Thanks for helping me through ladies makes hard time easier .

Mwah xxx

Positivementakattitude Fri 16-Aug-13 20:21:24

Also we say mc was latest AF was 31 days are you counting what last time was between mc and AF or usual one to calculate ovul? Ill just do sticks anyway but they let me down last month but got hormone one smily face just got normal cheaply ones

Also with the ovul sticks what time of day best as clearblue say morning and read somewhere morning not good ? Work 12-8 so will do in evening if that's ok ?

Trying to get excited for ovulat now finally bleeding stopped was worried never experienced amount of blood like it xxxxx

MrsAnderson22 Fri 16-Aug-13 23:26:52

hi, so how long was everyone's first AF after mc? I am definitely on but nowhere near as heavy as I usually am, it's normally no spotting whatsoever, cramps the night before then wake up with AF, 3 days of really heavy bleeding then stop! no getting lighter or easing it's way in! so far this one has been light pink spotting and brown discharge yesterday, today has been bright red but light. if all goes to plan I should ovulate in 2 weeks, then be in the 2ww!!! exciting stuff :D all tests arrived, I now have a bathroom cabinet full, 2 different types too! xx

Positivementakattitude Sat 17-Aug-13 00:04:35

Mine was 7 days in total 2 days of what u describe pink light red and brown and then came the flood dtd triggered mine but was so light took us while to realise what it was sorry if tmi 4-6 day worst was filling tampon and pad and if carried on past 7 Wa a going to go to the hosp as doctor just sent me away !!! But stopped today finally xxxx

MrsAnderson22 Sat 17-Aug-13 18:39:42

day 2- scared to stand up, scared to go to the toilet.....what a mess :/ bright red and very heavy sad

Positivementakattitude Sun 18-Aug-13 01:59:11

Thinking of you mrs A I know the feeling ten times more bleeding than my mc and even normal AF

Good news is I read that it means fertile bright red blood so hopefully you're body clearing out ready for new passenger lol fingers crossed.

Cd8 and a faint line on ovulat!!!!! Woop so you not far behind me either hopefully it won't last 7 like mine did ! Xxx

MrsRV Sun 18-Aug-13 20:24:42

All sounds like we've had really similar experiences with the AF's.

I stopped bleeding end last week. Can't be arsed with ov tests. Hubby and I have been doing lots of practising these last few days - although secretly I have been thinking that we should be saving our best shagging and that we may have peaked too soon. I keep singing "just keep shagging, just keep shagging" in my head in the style of finding nemo and "just keep swimming, just keep swimming". Amusing myself anyway! grin So yes, plan is to do deed every other night until next AF is due. Give me strength.

MrsAnderson22 Sun 18-Aug-13 21:46:49

wow it sounds like you'll need that strength haha!! love the song too, great choice ;)

well day 3 of AF and it's pretty much non existent now, I'd usually finish night 3 early day 4 anyway so fingers crossed it's done!! smile never used ovulation sticks before, I rely heavily and probably too much on my app! we just dtd a lot in the time between AF's and hope for the best! x

Positivementakattitude Mon 19-Aug-13 01:08:22

Hahaha love it keep shagging and the. Keep swimming to the swimmers hahaha

Good news hopefully done wouldn't wish 7 days of what I had on anybody !

Yeh good shout was going to go for 2 a day during the 4-5 hot days ?? Haha maybe kill us both possibly not best idea we dtd every day anyway bar a few but not many

Only used as have nnnnooo idea when I do ovul and also apps depend on you inputting what day you ovul and can vary so much so for 4.50 for 25 worth a go!

Got some conceive plus on order too anyone tried it ?

MrsAnderson22 Mon 19-Aug-13 01:23:35

I've never used conceive plus (never actually heard of it) but it's definitely something I'll be looking up!!

the app I use only asks for first and last day of AF and turns the days you 'should' be ovulating yellow, to give an indication, it plots when you are due AF and ovulation for every month thereafter too, obviously it can be wrong but I tend to just dtd around those days anyway. my app has never let me down in terms of AF due date since I started using it 4 months ago smile it does allow you to enter temp too but I dont, I also select 'intimate' on days we have dtd and it puts a little love heart on these dates on the calendar. can you tell I love my app? haha xx

MrsAnderson22 Mon 19-Aug-13 17:29:40

AF done and out the way! so pleased it wasn't any longer than normal AF x

cheesysmile Mon 19-Aug-13 17:50:53

That's good Mrs A, you can start afresh now. Hope this is ur month.

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday or day before, so abt 4 wks after mc started. However don't think I have much chance of a bfp this mth as have had some sort of bug yesterday and today, hideous cramps and feeling sick sad

MrsRV Mon 19-Aug-13 19:31:01

I think I have a very similar app... Again, I probably rely on it too much. I wouldn't bother with twice a day, I read that there is more chance of TTC with DTD every other day. Has worked for us!

Just about to google conceive plus. Sounds weird.

Have just eaten my body weight in chocolate digestives, despite being day 1 of being good. Bugger.

MrsRV Mon 19-Aug-13 19:32:39

Hope u feel better soon cheesy! x MrsA we are literally a week apart with everything!!!! Hopefully a week apart with BFP's at the beginning of September too!?!?!?!

Positivementakattitude Tue 20-Aug-13 22:59:32

Yeh that's my app period diary well sounds the same intimate days but I found ovulation cycle day on settings and well thought I ovul cd 17 changes it and recalculated so depends what setting you have it on and I read depending on cycle length we can ovulate diff days ? I think I may have cd 8 ??? Faint lines on ovul but then nothing !!! Now one line yday and today so have missed it I think !!! Only dtd sat beige mon which was last one had a line on.

Concieve plus great reviews - much better than pre-seed mine hasn't arrived so still hoping haven't ovul anyone using cheap sticks found faint line then none and then dark one I believe not positive until darkness matches ?

Xx hoping a miracle baby has managed to appear if I have ovulated !!!!

MrsRV Thu 22-Aug-13 21:41:58

Oh god, ovulation tests sound complicated. Not sure I have the patience. We're on "just keep shagging, just keep shagging". Have been keeping an eye on knicker snail trails. Pretty non-existent so am confused... Confused, but chilled, had lots of things to think about and keep me busy which is good!

How are we all doing? grin

rb30 Thu 22-Aug-13 22:51:18

Hi ladies. Can I join your convo? I hope you don't mind. I had an mmc and baby was finally removed (though medical management) after 3 weeks after I found out in july, on 2/08. can't say how far gone I was( sac was 15 foetus much smaller). It was so traumatic because my body was still pregnant until I went into hospital for treatment. It came out in 1 go like I almost gave birth in a bed pan. Anyway after a courses of antibiotics and 2 weeks of very light bleeding hubby and I started ttc again. Is this wrong? Should I wait til af? I was told my af could take c8wks to come but I can't wait that long. I hope you all get positive news soon. Xxxx

cheesysmile Thu 22-Aug-13 23:07:00

Hi ladies and welcome rb. I'm really sorry you've had such a tough time.

My mc was only at just over 5 wks but when I asked at the scan I was told that the only reason to wait for af was for dating purposes, no extra risks. I think you have to wait for bleeding to stop but thats it I think unless advised otherwise by doc.

I've been temping and think I ovulated on cd 27 if counting 1st day of mc as cd1. So I guess this will be abt a 6 wk cycle based on that. Abt 10 days to go til af due for me ... starting to get impatient!

MrsA, MrsRV, Positive, where are you in your cycles now... Is it dtd time wink

cheesysmile Thu 22-Aug-13 23:11:22

MrsRV knicker snail trails made me laugh grin

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 00:05:58

hi, I am 7 days into my cycle, 8 days until ovulation and 22 days til next period. we're pretty much taking the same approach as MrsRV and keeping everything crossed......except the legs of course ;)

No snail trails for me either MrsRV, I almost feel I'm missing out on something haha! It's another week until I'd class myself as in the 2ww stage, then the horrible wait!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 00:09:58

hi rb30, welcome to our discussion! no doubt you'll vent, compare, discuss and often laugh (at the expense of MrsRV usually haha grin ) with the rest of us!

I was told by my dr I didn't have to wait, like already stated it's just for dating purposes unless told otherwise! we were ttc straight after bleeding stopped but AF came on time!
good luck! where are you in your cycle? x

MrsRV Fri 23-Aug-13 17:40:04

Sitting in the garden with DD digging in a flower pot filling her very expensive clark's sandals with mud. Thinking wouldn't it be ace to have a 12 week scan around the time of my birthday in November & wouldn't it be super ace to find out I'm preggers while we're away for the weekend in September.

However, Just not feeling it this month. According to "shag app" ovulation should be today... Lack of knicker snot is not giving me much hope so will endeavour to DTD tonight. I did say we'd DTD every other night til next AF. Can't be arsed already!! Yawn.

Welcome to newbie (can't scroll back to see your name!) sounds like you had an awful time :-(

Shit. DD is now showing signs of having eaten mud. Must dash!!!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 18:13:57

hi ladies smile no sign of cm but just 5 mins ago, pee'd on an ovulation stick, faint line came up straight away!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 18:32:44

p.s not due to ovulate til 1 week today, but tests came in the post and I couldn't resist :/ never used them before, does the line get darker the closer you are to your peak day? or......? I don't know what to think x

MrsRV Fri 23-Aug-13 19:10:31

Exactly what I mean, complicated. As if testing each month isn't painfully frustrating enough!!! (She says, planning to check out eBay for ov sticks later) grin

cheesysmile Fri 23-Aug-13 20:01:43

Hey MrsA, im not sure abt if it gets darker and darker but I do know the line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive. I used them for a week this cycle when I thought I might ov but then didn't buy anymore and I actually ov'd abt a wk later so don't know if they wud have worked for me or not. Where have you got urs from coz the ones in boots / superdrug get quite expensive.

MrsRV it wud be super ace to have a 12 wk scan for your birthday. I keep thinking I want to have mine before Xmas.

cheesysmile Fri 23-Aug-13 20:04:44

So do you ladies all have children already? I'm trying for my first so have no idea what to expect at any point.

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 20:10:35

hi its not like a hpt then? where a line is a positive whether faint or not, no? jeese! I'll just keep peeing on the buggers anyway. I got a pack of 30 sticks off ebay for less than £5 inc p&p so don't mind using them up! I have 2 children already, DD aged 12 and DS aged 9.

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 20:22:36

ok so ive done what I should have done in the first the instructions! so my faint line means negative, glad you told me haha! how strange though! x

MrsRV Fri 23-Aug-13 21:13:02

DD just coming up to 18 months here!

Therefore, I kind of know what to expect but no doubt I shall blunder through... Just like last time! grin

cheesysmile Fri 23-Aug-13 22:10:34

Ha ha MrsA, yes annoying how everything has different rules!

You guys are experienced with this ttc malarky then. I'll be looking to you to help with my obsessive symptom spotting over the next 9 days then wink

MrsAnderson22 Fri 23-Aug-13 22:45:55

hmm I have 2 kids to my husband but definitely not a pro at ttc!! both were conceived whilst on the pill and antibiotics/stomach flu! haha lovely little surprises though, this is why I'm so excited this time round! eventually having one that's planned ahhhh <3

cheesysmile Fri 23-Aug-13 22:51:21

Ah well lets all muddle through together smile

Positivementakattitude Sat 24-Aug-13 09:55:25

Cheesy smile I am on cd 14 .... Slight snail trail lmao that made me lol too !

Frankly these sticks are shit lol last month I used cb digi ovula and from day 11-18 if you count mc as day 1 I had flashing smily - high fertility but no peak !

Now I tried 25 ovul from eBay like mrs a for under 5 quid (the cb was almost 25 for 10 sticks !!!! Eeek )

I've tested from day 8 and had faint and quite darkish lines on and off and also too faint to really see only us poas obsessive would see the line lol but today is building back up but still negative the darkest was on cd 9 and just hope didn't miss it - I was Mega moody and DH couldn't come near me lol

I'm hoping as per 'shag app ' another lol says Sunday am hoping this is right

Am also stalking the fertility monitors on eBay as can grab bargain on them loads say that they fall preg in first month, found a good site yday about ovul will copy and paste for all of you. I am trying to prepare for having another month, grrrrr

After mc we tried the shag every day method didn't work just scared I'm not even ovul but then there's constant LH present so hoping to catch the surge I'm even testing 2 times a day

OMG this mall archly is hard work - ttc #1 beginning to wonder how I got preg without all of this trying not to get too stressed .... Does anyone find their moods change one min I'm excited then down then grrrrrrrrrrr

Fx we all ovul over weekend and get ready for shag fest hahaha xxx

MrsRV Sat 24-Aug-13 10:57:32

Positive I'm the same, one minute I'm obsessed next minute I could give a flying.... Kite!?! (Substitute 4 letter word).

At the moment I'm pretty relaxed about it to be honest. Can't be arsed with the ov sticks or temperature or lubes etc. DTD every other day has worked for us twice now so we'll stick with what we know for now. I may not be saying that if AF arrives however!

Desperado need to lose this half a stone I seem to have acquired. She says standing in the kitchen while DD naps. hoofing a whole load of sushi which was meant for lunch. Oops. Could be worse. Could be cake!!

Go go go everyone & happy happy shag Fest!!!!

(Last night, hubby & I were getting frisky... Then I made him brush his teeth & wash his hands before I'd let him carry on... I'm known for my passion & romance u know!) gringrin

cheesysmile Sun 25-Aug-13 10:32:43

I know what you mean abt being up and down Positive and MrsRV. We dtd 2 days before I ov'd this mth coz got poorly on ov day and tbh I've been feeling crap ever since which is a week now. Had stomach cramps with range from uber painful to just uncomfortable but don't seem to actually disappear.

DH thinks with me being poorly we've got no chance this mth and altho I agree a small part of me is clinging on to the hope I'll get a bfp next week.

Anyway just have to wait and see and even if bfn im just hoping I will at least feel better this week.

Happy shagging ladies grin

p.s. Mrsrv I've been known to send DH to clean teeth!!! Lol

MrsAnderson22 Mon 26-Aug-13 14:33:58

doesn't dtd for a purpose make it feel like a chore? or is it just me? I'm finding myself looking at the calendar saying "only 4 more days til I ovulate, so only 2 more dtd days!" hahah and it's not because we don't enjoy it, it's because I'm actually excited about being in the 2ww stage this time round!!

MrsRV Mon 26-Aug-13 18:14:26

Actually, I've found the more we DTD the more we want to DTD. But now I'm worried we've been DTD too much and hubby's supplies haven't been given chance to re-stock! Ha! I have clearly made this up in my head but all the same.....!!!

I so want to be pregnant but terrified & I just have this horrible feeling I am destined to miscarry twice....

Leons Mon 26-Aug-13 22:01:26

Can I be a late joiner, I have followed this thread for last few days and I think you are all on similar path to me. I had 2nd mmc early march, had 3rd mmc 2 weeks ago. Its left me heartbroken, was so sure it cldnt happen a third time, regular cycle of 28 days, had a bfp on cd 33, started bleeding cd 35. Went to EPU straight away and saw a tiny sac, but heavy bleeding continued, and had blood tests over a few days to confirm mmc. I havent waited for my next af to start ttc, Im counting cd1 as first day of bleeding. With previous pregnancies (5, with 2 DC) I havent used ov sticks, I just used calendars, my cycle is 28 days, so normally can time dtd 10_16 days and have normally fallen pregnant at longest 6 cycles.
I think Im ovulating already, pretty normal signs, 12-14 days after mc, we have so far dtd day 10, 12, 14. Like u Mrs A, Im marking the calendar, Im a woman possessed, dear lord if anyone was to look at my calendar its full of notes. My partner doesnt have a clue, he wants more kids, but I know best thing is keep him in dark as regards timings etc, I dont even tell him Im testing. All going well I get a bfp on 9/9. fingers crossed for us all. xx

MrsAnderson22 Mon 26-Aug-13 22:02:52

awe MrsRV I have thoughts like that sad in fact before I had my mc I actually said to my husband that I had a feeling it would happen, I had my DD, then a mc, then my DS and another mc! I remember saying to him I hope it's not going to be like a pattern, baby, mc, baby, mc......yet, that is exactly what happened sad I just hope I have a sticky one this time round.

hugs to you, think happy positive thoughts! I'm hoping at least one of us on here will have a +hpt very soon xx

is anyone close to the 2ww? in the 2ww or about to ovulate like me?

MrsAnderson22 Mon 26-Aug-13 22:07:02

welcome Leons! I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time sad unfortunately it's what has brought us all on to here, I will certainly keep my fingers crossed for your bfp! keep us updated please, lots of luck and wishes sent to you!! xx

Positivementakattitude Tue 27-Aug-13 06:09:32

Hiya Leon's sorry for ur loss as mrs a said hope u find some comfort on here we all in the same boat ATM.

Well I've been quiet on here was really worried didn't ovulate ( so much so ) stalked eBay and have now bought the fertility monitor and then yday got positive ovulation test yay finishes work early and come home dtd sun night aswell and even got up at 5 with DH to try and get some in this morning - not so successful lol hopefully last two nights have done the job we even tried last night for round two but he says hrs empty hahhaa

Ov cd 16-17 ish so I guess I'm creeping into the 2 ww -hoping to send the monitor back or re sell of course.

BFP due the 7th-9th depending on. Cycle length what about you mrs a ....rv and Leon's

Cheesy smile I have been down now up then keep thinking twice not enough lol when is ur bfp due

I probably shouldn't have shared so much with DH re times, tests lines, faint lines monitors vitamins etc etc but he mad for a baby too and I'm shit at keeping to myself he ok until I get the conceive plus out hahaha - did any of u ladies try it out I've tried most things this month so fingers crossed good swimmers xxx

MrsAnderson22 Tue 27-Aug-13 09:53:06

morning! AF is due 13th sept so anywhere around that date (or just before, knowing me!!) is when I'm expecting bfp :D xx

cheesysmile Tue 27-Aug-13 18:28:01

Hi ladies and welcome Leons, sorry you've had such a rubbish time.

Positive sounds like you've dtd at the right time - don't think I could hack 5am either!!!

MrsRV I'm in a place where I really want to pregnant again, but also know I am going to be so scared that I will lose it again so can completely understand how you feel. I kinda think there must be something wrong with me, but guess have to just put those thoughts to the back of my mind and keep fingers crossed.

I tend to share most info with my DH and I have him taking the wellman vits. I don't think he minds, although he doesn't seem too interested when I insist on showing him the temperature graph on my app, poor guy LOL.

I'm due on 1st Sept, but prob gonna test on 31st as long as AF doesn't show up early, so that's only 3 more none testing mornings to do! Planning a day / night out on the Sat (31st) so if I get a bfn can console myself with alcohol at least!

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 00:27:18

ok, possibly TMI coming up or a silly question, either way I'd like advice please :/

I am due to ovulate in 3 days, all going as it did before mc anyway! now I haven't had, or haven't noticed anyway, any ewcm!! I haven't done much research into ewcm so I'm a little lost, does everyone have to have ewcm to get pregnant? does everyone get it when they're ovulating? before or on the day? I'm starting to worry I'm not going to ovulate!

these questions seem a bit silly when written down :/ In my head they sounded quite reasonable!! so anyone clued up on ewcm and can put my neurotic thoughts into perspective......please?! xx

Positivementakattitude Wed 28-Aug-13 01:01:36

Cheesy smile yes I defo know that feeling I find before ovul I am very excited and when I think it's happened feel haven't done enough missed it and feel really depressed and want to give up as dreaded AF feel just needs to hurry up !!!

Mrs a I'm not the best to ask never noticed it before and fell pregnant and didn't notice it even when got a positive yday on opk so all women diff ... There does have to be some cm but as long as its inside to help keep the sperm swimming I believe it's ok ... The conceive plus helps as makes sure right condition for the sperm to live and swim to the egg lol you really can tell google is place I have been living in for a month or so now .... Hope it makes sense.

I am so moody and really do hope have dtd at right times bed broke tonight so no baby juice for me and I'm in a crank so have had a strop and he's asleep !!!

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 03:32:58

so who says romance is dead huh??....WHILST dtd tonight, I had to laugh when DH said "now for the most important part! Filling you up!!" have to admit, in hindsight, makes me sound like a car! we had a giggle anyway, got me out of my foul mood, which is lasting a little too long for my liking!

positive, thanks for your advice re ewcm, google has become my friend over the past few weeks too haha xx

MrsRV Wed 28-Aug-13 07:23:42

MrsA true to form I've not noticed any of that stuff either, ewcmvsmjdad or whatever it's called i.e. Snail trail. Worry worry worry.

However, I am officially in the 2ww. Hate to admit it but not saying actual out loud and still shagging just in case.

AF due 6th September. Only a week and a half to go. Will blatantly cave & test early though.

Hubby just knows we have to shag, a lot, & he's happy with that funnily enough :-) don't tell him about my obsessive compulsive disorder for TTC Internet abuse grin and don't tell him what I'm doing when I lean over the side of the bed after DTD to put a heart on my calendar.

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 11:40:58

hahaha that's exactly what I do! straight away, mark my app!

MrsRV Wed 28-Aug-13 12:53:46

Talk about notches on the bed post!!!!

cheesysmile Wed 28-Aug-13 18:44:56

Ha ha ... I do that too with my app! To the point where DH has noticed so now I try and wait at least until he goes to the bathroom to update it!

I also update the app every morning with my temperature. DH gets annoyed with me coz thermometer makes a bleeping noise and he says it wakes him up - oh well!

On the EWCM front I think it's different for each person. I have noticed some a couple of days before ov but its not loads and like positive said as long as its in the right place it doesn't need to be visible on the loo roll / in you pants. I read a fertility friend kindle book which has quite a bit of info on all this - its free to download if you have a kindle, just search for fertility friend.

MrsRV Wed 28-Aug-13 21:27:16

I'm sure I usually have snail trails all the time. This month nothing, as dry as a... grin Perhaps I'm just taking notice for the first time. Or perhaps I'm ovulating late. I had a couple of pangs of sore boobs today & a few period type aches. I've read they could be signs of ovulation... That's a bit of a bugger if it is late ov... Means 2ww may have become 3ww??

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 23:36:31

well, still no 'snail trail' for me either, at least not externally! I certainly haven't noticed it, but usually do every other month. I do have cramp today, more of a bearing down pressure cramp than a sharp one though! it will be what it will be I suppose :/ so frustrating.......I want a +opk and some slime please :D anyone else think the DH's have it easy haha xx

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 23:39:54

just to add, I did a opk today, in fact, 2 of them! first one had a very faint line which is negative and 2nd one had a stronger line which was not much different/lighter than the control line.....still a negative though! so annoying! I was willing it to just go that one shade darker. tomorrow is another day for pee collecting and dipping I suppose :/ xx

MrsAnderson22 Wed 28-Aug-13 23:39:55

cheesysmile Thu 29-Aug-13 10:17:06

Have you guys thought about taking your BBT (basal body temperature) to pin point ovulation? It doesn't tell you when you're going to ovulate, but it does tell you that you have so you know when you can stop ddt quite so much! My tactic is to try to dtd every other day where possible after AF until I see the sustained temperature shift upwards which tells me I've ovulated. Also I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant this cycle because my temperature dropped yesterday and is still lower again today, when I was pregnant last month it got higher towards the end of the 2ww.

cheesysmile Thu 29-Aug-13 13:39:00

AF just got me sad

So CD1 for me today now - this is my first AF after the mc so keeping my fx its not too bad and hoping for a more normal and positive cycle this time round.

MrsAnderson22 Thu 29-Aug-13 16:24:02

oh no cheesysmile sad fingers crossed for next month!!

I'm due to ovulate tomorrow and still having -opk's...xx

MrsRV Thu 29-Aug-13 16:35:16

Aww cheesey.... How rubbish. At least u can raise a glass to being back to normal!!! Officially 1ww for me. Although not sure I've even ovulated.

cheesysmile Thu 29-Aug-13 16:55:28

Thanks ladies.

I will defo be breaking the wine out this weekend!

Hope you get a +opk soon MrsA, maybe that you are just ovulating later than expected this month - keep dtd!

Hope the wait isn't too frustrating MrsRV - FX for a bfp soon smile

MrsAnderson22 Thu 29-Aug-13 20:03:37

aaaaah!! another -opk!!! this is driving me insane!! maybe I ovulated early? or going to late? will keep testing obviously, tomorrow is the date I'm due to O so maybe it'll show up then...

MrsRV Thu 29-Aug-13 20:57:06

Those bloody tests are more hassle than they're worth... I'm glad I haven't started. I'm addicted enough to pregnancy tests! I hope they are not causing you undue stress MrsA, last thing your bod needs xx

MrsAnderson22 Thu 29-Aug-13 20:59:34

its just so frustrating cos my body is telling me one thing and the tests another! cramping/bearing down/heavy feeling, different to AF cramps but at the same time no 'snail trail!'

I really don't know what to think :/

rb30 Thu 29-Aug-13 23:19:23

Lol to all the funny stories you share / nicknames etc...I'm catching up so sitting here feeling all your positive energy.

Thanks for the advice cheesy...I didn't think to temp after mc despite having bought 2 x the kit! So haing read yours I have taken my temp today with both thermometers and have 2 diff results...great start...

I've had CM but can't tell whether its sticky rice or egg white...neither would be things I associate discharge to...

I hope all you ladies are well and are going strong with dtd ... Hubby has been on night shift this week so no dtd for us (this is when I've had most cm).

MrsA and Mrs RV I understand you have children. Positive do you? Cheesy I reckon you and I are in same boat trying for first? Apologies if I have got this wrong. Quite a lot to read so may have got it all mixed up.

This is my second mc in 7 months - dec 12 was first...natural and very early.lots of clotting and it took about 3 months for my periods to get back to normal. I was using opks but found they never gave me a positive result. So in April, during the 4th period after mc, I went to an acupuncture fertility specialist. I got pregnant that cycle. Now I'm not a tree worshipper or a big doollaly fan of homeopathic treatments but he was fantastic! The observations he made were spot on. I'm veggie and he told me the lack of iron and lack of "good" enough blood flow through my uterus would make it difficult to get pregnant, or give me difficulties during pregnancy. It made sense to me.

Sorry I've gotten carried away writing this. I'm just in awe of him. Dh and I have been ttc since we jut married in July 2011 and I finally conceived in dec 12 and lost baby very soon after. So getting pregnant this time round, and staying pregnant for longer I truly believe the acupuncturist played a part. I actually ended up cancelling appointment during pregancy because I became so sick from the all day sickness (it can be called morning...not when one vomits dawn, morning, noon, dusk and night) I couldn't get in car and drive to him. Happy to share his details if you're anywhere near Solihull.

Re sickness I was vomiting until I went in to have medical mgt! 3 weeks after I found out no heartbeat, and probably 5 weeks since baby had actually stopped developing. My body was so pregnant. tummy was growing, boobs hurt like mad with milk in if anyone says the sickness and the hormones are a good sign, don't take their word for it. Your body may have right hormone levels but the baby may just not be ready...

I am soooooooooo sorry I've written an essay...I almost feel like I'm writing a diary entry or something. Thank you for reading (*).
Anyway will stop now.

I hope all goes well for you ladies and the shagging and the ovulating happens as you need

Big hugs and kisses xxxxxxxxx

rb30 Thu 29-Aug-13 23:28:50

Oh ladies, I appear to have missed pages 4-5 of thread! I'm so sorry for your losses Leons! You seem to be remaining very strong and determined. Very inspiring.

Mrs a I hope you feel ok. The pain is unusual isn't it? Have you had it checked?

Cheesy I know af not welcome, but look at this way, at least your body is back to normal, having a good clean up of the uterus, meaning ttc will be much easier (sorry , trying to stay positive for you as in same situation...though still waiting for AF).

Positive and Mrs RV is the big O happening for you as expected

Will catch up on all tomorrow . Love lots xxxx

cheesysmile Fri 30-Aug-13 00:26:11

Mrs A I think it is possible to miss the surge with the opks so maybe just keep dtd for a bit longer? What CD are you on.

Hi RB, sounds like you've had it a lot tougher than me, but you sound like your coping well. Yep im ttc #1 too ... excited still but nervous now after mc. I think just use the one thermometer as consistency prob more important than accuracy iyswim. Where are you in your cycle, are you in the 2ww now or not sure?

I'm off to sleep now ladies, Nighty smile

MrsAnderson22 Fri 30-Aug-13 00:33:08

hi cheesysmile, I am CD13....or 14 now as it's 12.30am! we have been bd'ing so hopefully I've just missed the surge on the tests, I'll check back in tomorrow after my morning test and night one, to let you all know.

cheesysmile Fri 30-Aug-13 08:31:32

FX for a +ve opk this morning mrsa.If not keep going as CD14 could still be too early. I know it wud have been for me so far.

Hope you all have a good day!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 30-Aug-13 13:58:01

I've had the closest to a + this morning, top and bottom of the test line is as dark as the control line but the middle section is lighter........any ideas? xx

MrsAnderson22 Fri 30-Aug-13 21:53:39

how's everyone doing? still no +opk as yet but a little 'snot trail' today :D not egg white though :/ so carry on peeing and dipping til my +! anyway it's 2 weeks today til AF is due which should mean I was in the 2ww, I have no qualms saying my af will come as expected I'm always bang on date! so will be testing around 13th anyway xx

Leons Fri 30-Aug-13 21:58:51

hope all okay. Thanks for all your good wishes.
rb30 Im very determined, Im 42, so much want number 3 before it gets really too late for me. A last minute camping trip put my schedule right off, no dtd in a cramped camper van with 2 kids and it kept me off here too. Not sure whats going on with me at the moment, today I feel like af is coming, which would only be 18 days since mc, I was hoping to be in the 2ww, but its fine I suppose if it means my body is bouncing back to normal much quicker and I will be more sure of timings.

Positivementakattitude Sat 31-Aug-13 08:15:28

Hiya ladies and welcome rb ... I am also ttc #1 on cd 20 and stopped opks now before I committ murder !!! I have bought the clearblue monitor (good deal on eBay) for next month a week today for AF which I'm almost certain will arrive unfortunately !

DH 's do have it way to too easy but still feel the pressure I think ??! I'm very open about my tracking/peeing/googling etc and think he feels pressure so we tend to do it less when it's important strange as I know he does want a baby but men are strange maybe pressure plus they listen but don't understand ovulating egg life span sperm life span etc etc gosh who does I know I don't hard to not be annoyed tho ok for men to say yeh hopefully next month !!!! They don't have the things to go through that we do !!!

And that's my DH who is actually a real softie in this case less maybe more so next month keeping peak days to myself see how that goes

Those sticks are utter crap excuse my frenchbut they are and tbh if u didn't really want a bundle of joy I would give up I hate the 1ww its yorture always feel so down ? !!! Or is just me

Mrs a and rv and cheesy smile hope u all ok sorry to rant xxx

Positivementakattitude Sat 31-Aug-13 08:15:55

And Leon's sorry to miss u out there xxx

Positivementakattitude Sat 31-Aug-13 08:16:45

P.s rb I live by Solihull ....where is the acupuncture ? Xx

rb30 Sat 31-Aug-13 10:11:58

Positive I've just messaged you his details. Good luck xxxx

rb30 Sat 31-Aug-13 10:18:55

Ps cheesy no idea about cycle because foetus only came out at beginning of August so not had first af yet. Had v little bleeding after medical management - brown...nothing since. I think I may have ovulated a week ago (but honest I've never been able to tell). Oh I dunno...I guess just eat healthy, live healthy and bd as often as poss.
I agree with positive the sticks are rubbish. Let e know how you get on with monitor. I might invest in one

Totally understand the sometimes frustration with dh. They try their best but will never truly nuderstand what we go through emotionally...

Anyway happy ovulating and baby making all cxxxxxx

MrsAnderson22 Sat 31-Aug-13 11:20:37

morning all!!

I haven't kept anything from my husband, he laughs when I show him the little love hearts on my calendar etc....tbh though he's absolutely clueless when it comes to ovulating the point where he honestly believed it was called nobulating!!! which cracked me and my friend up and the new term has now stuck haha!! he has never, in so many words said -maybe next month, but he's just so laid back in absolutely everthing, I can just see that he really wants another baby but is of the 'it'll happen when it happens...' mindset. wish I was! can't remember the last time I peed without collecting it in a tub!! blush once these opks are finished I'm not buying anymore! no way! too stressful, too frustrating!

talk later, my little chicks are hungry smile

MrsRV Sat 31-Aug-13 14:28:19

Ha ha ha... Nobulating! Love it! Sounds about right though, I know I turn into a bit of a bob around about that time.

Totally pissed off today. Had huge row with hub lastnight which started off over a bloody lasagne & ended with him giving me a lecture on parenting. Idiot. He has since apologised & has bought me a new changing bag but still...

Did a preggers test this morning. AF not die til Friday but just couldn't help myself. BFN. So I reckon I'm out of the running until next cycle. I know it's early but tested a week early with previous pregnancies & got BFP's. so pissed off. AND... I seem to have watery snail trails today... 6 days before AF... What's that all about? Can't be ovulating this late? Maybe it's a sign AF on way early? Have had sore boobs, thrush, mood swings like U wouldn't believe hence the test. I just want to be frickin pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TTC is very stressful, I don't know how people cope when they've been trying for years. It would turn me into an actual fruit loop.

MrsRV Sat 31-Aug-13 14:28:46

Nob, not bob grin

MrsAnderson22 Sat 31-Aug-13 22:38:19

jeese I can't wait til these opk's run out haha! just did my last one for the day about half an hour ago, test line was waaaay darker than it normally is but still not as dark as control line........fingers crossed again for tomorrow hmm

as I have a pretty spot on 28 day cycle, I had to google ovulation dates to put my mind at ease, apparently I could ovulate anywhere up to CD18!! as long as I have a 10 day luteal phase it's nothing to worry aboutwink I am CD16 now so not worrying too much, just sick of waiting...

MrsAnderson22 Sun 01-Sep-13 16:48:17

Finally!!! +opk! the test line is soooo much darker than the control line and it came up straight away :D

MrsRV Sun 01-Sep-13 19:48:34

Yay! That's nearly bang on time...! 13th is almost a 2ww. At last Mrs A. lets hope u get a BFP... Xx

Ithink I ovulated yesterday/today... Unless it was just a little wee :-)

Too bloody close to AF!!!!!!!!!! Still pissed off & had to go to a baby shower today. Obviously cried on the way home & wanted to wail "why can't I just be pregnant".

MrsAnderson22 Sun 01-Sep-13 21:15:30

I am classing myself as in the 2ww anyway ha! sounds better than 3+!! maybe your AF was due to be late this month, are you still going to be testing? if so when?

I don't know how you managed a baby shower sad and to last until on your way home to cry, I feel for you, that must have been horrendous putting on a 'happy for you' face! I don't think I'd have managed! fingers crossed for you this month, we all need some luck very soon don't we!!

take care, hope you're feeling a bit better... xx

MrsAnderson22 Sun 01-Sep-13 23:00:51

wowza, trying to dtd at a time of night before we get tired is almost impossible with a 9 year old in and out the bedroom, his dvd player broke so he's using his xbox, it wouldn't work, it kept freezing, it's switching itself off yada yada haha! anyway deed done for the night, it was a lot different to normal! a lot of jumping up and down.....not of the usual sort though, wink eventful I'd say!!

MrsAnderson22 Mon 02-Sep-13 00:48:15

oh, my plan is this...if I get a bfp (fx!) I hope to keep it from my husband until 22nd September which is our 1st year wedding anniversary! I hope to poas and put it in my husbands card!! that is obv if I am pregnant BUT also if I can keep it a secret apart from on here of course smile xx

cheesysmile Mon 02-Sep-13 10:56:23

Hey ladies, I've been off line for a few days as out and about. Hope ur all well and yay for the +ve opk mrsa.

My first af post mc was fine, only lasted 3 days, one of which was pretty light. Not gonna start dtd for ttc purposes until at least cd10 or 11 this month I think and will start opks from a similar time. CD 5 today.

Good luck everyone, lets hope we see some bfps soon.

Mrsrv if your not due til Fri don't count yourself out yet, you never know. FX for you.

MrsAnderson22 Mon 02-Sep-13 23:43:42

aaah disaster!!!! ovulating today, im cramping something chronic from right hand side....and hubby decides it's the right time to be struck down by man flu....snotting and sneezing, the works! so hopefully last night was enough and tomorrow if I pump him full of nose spray and tablets ;)

MrsRV Tue 03-Sep-13 07:23:58

Mrs A, even with man flu if he's anything like my hubby he'll still be up for a quick one "with no warm up" as my husband puts it!!!! Ha ha ha.

Still BFN's. every day. hmm

MrsAnderson22 Tue 03-Sep-13 09:53:35

hmmm well, with man flu MrA finds it difficult to drag his carcass off the couch haha! He's aching all over and I'm back to negative opk's so prob too late today anyway....not looking good for this month unfortunately sad xx

cheesysmile Tue 03-Sep-13 19:28:05

Soz your getting bfns mrsrv sad

Day before ov should be ok mrsa, hopefully the swimmers are there waiting patiently smile

Not much going on with me at the moment as still early on, not got to the opks even yet. Starting this weekend tho me thinks, Saturday will be cd10.

MrsRV Wed 04-Sep-13 06:49:06

Ok so, 2 days of the faintest line ever. Thought today it would be darker but still the same. Off to buy a digi one today. Felt convinced yesterday I was pregnant... Today, feel rubbish & annoyed at stupid cheap tests.

greeneone12 Wed 04-Sep-13 09:24:58

I had been using ovulation tests but have decided they make me into a crazy person! I have taken to using red wine instead wink

cheesysmile Wed 04-Sep-13 10:37:11

MrsRV faint lines on preg tests??? I thought you were getting negatives? Surely a line is a line ... ok I'm getting excited now! How many days post ov are you - if not due yet (I thought you said you weren't due til this Friday?) then lines are likely to be faint aren't they?

Greeneone I'm liking the red wine idea, definitely more relaxing than OPKs!

MrsAnderson22 Wed 04-Sep-13 12:07:07

MrsRV!!! a line is a line isn't it? go pee on that digi and let us know! ooh how exciting!!

I don't know what's going on with me but last night it felt like my uterus was full of air ha!! such a heavy pulling feeling, it didn't come and go, it was there constantly and for about an hour I'd say, it's still a little crampy today. It's still waaay too early to test so will just keep plodding along, just wondered if any of you ever had that heavy pulling/bearing down sensation after ovulation or before AF? AF due on 13th so it's a bit early for me to have symptoms normally.

greeneone12 Wed 04-Sep-13 12:51:40

MrsRV keeping everything crossed for you!

Sorry to change topic slightly but how long was your first AF after MMC? Mine came on Saturday late afternoon and seems to have stopped. Not sure if it is classed as a proper cycle or not sad According to my ovulation app (never ever thought I would have one of those) my ovulation most fertile day stays the same no matter how lone AF is. Doesn't seem right to me. Soprry for hi-jack. Feel free to oust me wink

MrsAnderson22 Wed 04-Sep-13 13:12:38

hi, my first AF after mc was only 3 days long, pretty heavy but not heavier than normal. my AF Is always every 28 days, lasts 3 days and is heavy from beginning to end so it was a pretty normal AF to me.

good luck! fingers crossed for you smile xx

MrsRV Wed 04-Sep-13 16:22:51

Green one welcome! Sounds like an AF to me xx

MrsAnderson22 Wed 04-Sep-13 16:37:05

hi MrsRV, did you get that digi? hope I'm just behind you again this time! xx

cheesysmile Wed 04-Sep-13 18:20:22

greeneone from first day of mc my cycle was 37 days. I then had AF for 3 days from last Thursday, 3rd day pretty light, but think that's fine. Sounds like you have had AF to me ... we're probably in a similar place now, couple of days apart. I don't think ovulation is based on how long your AF is so your app should be good, but you can always use opks to help you identify ovulation. I'm going to start using them from CD 10 I think, so this Saturday.

MrsRV ... you're killing me, have you done a digi or are you waiting for FMU tomorrow?

MrsRV Wed 04-Sep-13 19:30:27

Omg ladies I'm so sorry to leave u hanging! I did actually post but it hasn't shown up!

It basically said, reluctant to spend a million pounds on a test & then ended up with no time to get 1 anyway! Will wait til morning to see if line gets darker. I tested yesterday after posting and had 2 x faint lines & same today. Hubby says defo a line there so I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining it!

Post ended with MrsA, you know what this means don't you!?! grin

MrsAnderson22 Wed 04-Sep-13 20:17:10

aah!! so excited for you!! like I said I hope I follow like last time grin

I'll be checking in tomorrow to see how you got on but seems pretty positive to me wink

MrsRV Wed 04-Sep-13 20:31:05

Hmmm... We'll see!!

Leons Wed 04-Sep-13 21:22:56

Fingers crossed big time for you MrsRV. How exciting for you.
Ive been off line all week. Nothing new to report from me, I was sure AF was about to hit a few days ago, I had that dragging/sluggish feeling for a day. But no sign yet. Im only cd23, awaiting first af since mc so still early days for me.

MrsAnderson22 Wed 04-Sep-13 21:35:53

I've been feeling crampy all day again, not sharp cramps though, more like heavy/pressure above public bone. not due AF til 13th but feels like it's coming in a couple of hours!!, feel full all the time too, sick of the waiting already :/ it's way too early for AF symptoms and waaay too early for pregnancy symptoms just need to know what this feeling is, never had it before! imagine you're lying down and have a ball sitting on your abdomen...that's what its feels like, constant, not coming and going...

cheesysmile Wed 04-Sep-13 23:56:21

Ahh MrsRV that sounds so positive to me, let us know what tomorrow brings, hope its a darker line smile

MrsA im not sure, sorry that's no help at all. Lets hope its a pregnancy sign tho!

Hi leons - waves!

MrsAnderson22 Thu 05-Sep-13 01:34:47

no idea either sad going to make a Dr's appointment tomorrow to get it checked out, heartburn is back the last few days with a vengeance so will get my lansoprazole prescribed again, if it's safe for ttc that is!

MrsRV Thu 05-Sep-13 06:59:16

Mrs A, hope its ok, sounds horrible. Early preggers symptom!?!

My line is there again this morning but faint... And when I wiped after having a wee there was pinky blood. AF is due tomorrow so could well be a day early. Pissed off again now. hmm

cheesysmile Thu 05-Sep-13 07:24:55

Ahh MrsRV, hope you're ok. Just need to wait and see which way it goes I guess ... thinking of you.

Hope it goes OK at the docs MrsA.

Nothing to report here, still in the boring bit ...

MrsAnderson22 Thu 05-Sep-13 17:50:16

woke up this morning in absolute agony! got the kids off to school and had to lie on my bed, cold, sweating, shivering and crying! cramps were sooooo sore, never felt pain as bad since having gallstones! anyway I figure I'm constipated which NEVER happens to me as I have ibs and everything, I mean everything makes me have diarrhoea so this was a shock! still haven't gone but have no pains now.

so today, I have been sneezing non stop, must be coming down with something and still have that dragging feeling in my abdomen, can't get an appointment til next week sad

MrsRV, hope you're ok, think positive :D

I'm terrified of every change in my body since my mc, it's driving me nuts!!

MrsRV Thu 05-Sep-13 18:33:00

Oh god that sounds awful, you might have a virus or something - especially as u said hubby had been poorly too? Well I've had cramps all day & been pant watching. No more bleeding.... YET. Cramps are quite bad though so defo think AF is going to show up. Still tempted to do a digi test but no time to go out & get one now! We're away this weekend and I'm totally unorganised. Will take forever to pack. Booooooo.

cheesysmile Thu 05-Sep-13 18:35:27

MrsA that sounds a bit like a bug I had a couple of weeks ago. Really bad cramps and feeling sick but no V&D like you would expect. It was horrid! Hope you feel better soon, rest up.

cheesysmile Thu 05-Sep-13 18:36:47

Keeping my FX for you Mrs RV. Have a lovely weekend away.

MrsRV Thu 05-Sep-13 21:19:42

"Pregnant" it said in the little window gringringringringringringringringringringringrin

Now I just need to stay that way, AND I need all you ladies to join me!! X

MrsRV Thu 05-Sep-13 21:21:02

Caved in & just popped to Sainsburys for tests, pregnacare & ice-cream. Glad I did now!

greeneone12 Thu 05-Sep-13 21:46:32

Oh my goodness!!! I know I have only just joined this thread but I am truly excited and happy for you MrsRV

Massive congratulations xxx

MrsAnderson22 Thu 05-Sep-13 22:19:31

oh wow!!! congratulations!! don't leave us though haha! so so happy for you, fingers crossed for the rest of us and for you to have a sticky bean this time.

so what CD did you start testing? ahhh I'm all smiley and teary eyed for you!!! grin xxx

cheesysmile Thu 05-Sep-13 22:49:59

Yay MrsRV that is the most amazing news smile

I hope you have a very very sticky bean!!!

Yay ... grin

Leons Fri 06-Sep-13 20:06:52

massive congrats to you. woo hoo.

MrsAnderson22 Fri 06-Sep-13 20:11:07

hey smile nothing new to report here, how's everyone else? those who are in the 2ww when is testing day? mine is the 13th....friday the 13th :/ if I wait until day AF is due anyway!!

greeneone12 Fri 06-Sep-13 20:37:13

Friday 13th is our day to DTD!

greeneone12 Fri 06-Sep-13 20:47:30

If/when we get pregnant again I will be so scared telling anyone sad

greeneone12 Fri 06-Sep-13 20:57:06

MrsAnderson22 how are the cramps/virus symptoms? Hope you feel a bit better today xx

Leons Fri 06-Sep-13 21:30:08

Hey MrsA, Im CD25, due AF Monday 9th if all going to normal cycle. However today Ive been feeling really crampy like af coming, and boobs really tingly/sore but leaky (never had this before)...whats that about.

greeneone12 I will be the same, a few people know about my pregnancy/subsequent mc in Feb, my sister/close friend and Im a childminder so the day I started bleeding I had mums calling to drop of their kids and I was in floods of tears so I had to tell them why and that I cldnt work. My 2nd mc was in August during the holidays so I wasnt working. I havent even told my sister about it. I just cant bear talking about it. So I know I will be so scared when (being positive) I get pg again to tell anyone. fingers crossed.

greeneone12 Fri 06-Sep-13 22:10:46

Oh Leons I really hope they are early pregnancy signs. I am so very sorry you had to go through that twice. Can't imagine how hard it must have been through August, did you have DP for support?

The last 3 Augusts have been crap for us - last year i somehow managed to get pneumonia and it was my 30th!

I had an early scan at 6 weeks this time in June and actually heard the heartbeat. We told everyone after that as we thought everything was fine. When I went for my 12 week scan and found it has stopped growing we were told it measured 6+4 so it literally happened days after that scan sad

Lesson learned though. Really wont tell anyone (apart from maybe you ladies) if there is a next time!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 06-Sep-13 22:17:02

I know what you mean! I'm going to force myself to keep quiet until the 12 wks are up, purely because I told my other children age 12 and 9 who, after the initial shock and disgust (they have sex ed at school and know how things are done haha) they were extrememly happy and excited and even had suggested names etc....the morning after telling them, I woke up bleeding sad

symptoms today are- sore armpits :/ sore bone(?) behind left ear, cramps, heartburn to the point of being scared in case I burped cos I'd end up with a mouth full of acid, been freezing all day and napping on and off while kids were at school, amd tonight I came to bed to watch tele at 8.30pm when the kids went to their rooms, next thing I know I'm waking up at 10pm!! feel drained and exhausted and achy! hope it subsides for me starting uni again on 16th!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 06-Sep-13 22:17:45

oh and headaches...

Leons Sat 07-Sep-13 00:03:43

oh i would love them to be early pg signs, like MrsA I too am very tired, could easily have had a nap mid afternoon last few days, and in fact today, cos my dp was home, and only had our kids, I got into bed at 5 for a nap (and to watch repeat of Downton Abbey). If AF does come Im dying my hair (its so grey at the moment, but dont want to use dye just in case>>) and Im going out for a few drinks (not just having a few at home...Im going to the pub). Cramps have eased, just still have that feeling that af is coming, but my boobs are just soo tingly/sore, Im really aware of them if u know what I mean...Well Im sure I will know in the am, as I normally get my period full on in the morning. Fingers crossed I dont.

cheesysmile Sat 07-Sep-13 00:50:52

Hi ladies just checking in, nothing much to report today.

Hope everyones ok and all the symptoms mean we'll see more bfps. Hope af doesn't get you leons.

When / if I get preggers again will tell a few people who I wud tell if we lost it anyway, but otherwise defo keeping to ourselves.

Night x

Positivementakattitude Sat 07-Sep-13 03:20:32

Hiya ladies .. Sorry so long and WOW I missed big congrats mrsrv wow !!!! Bet ur chuffed gives us all a little hope, I gave up on opks and 12days dpo day 28 cd I've been soo moody dp and me just passing as working 13 hrs a day don't think this is my time ....expecting AF today or Monday.

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 09:05:57

Leons I am seriously needing a big night out...but keep resisting as it really will end in tears. My hair also need sorting!

MrsA what are you studying?

cheesysmile Sat 07-Sep-13 11:08:25

I was being good in 2ww but after AF arrived DH and I had a night out together last Friday. It was so nice to just be us and have a good time. We did talk abt mc at the end of the night, but thats ok. Maybe go on a bit of a date night greeneone, might be just what you need.

Hi positive! I'm ok thanks, CD10 today so started using opks. Negative this morning but thats expected this early. I quite enjoy doing something towards getting my bfp though iykwim.

Leons are you still af free this morning?

MrsA how you feeling today, better i hope?

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 12:08:10

hi, been busy on here this morning hasn't it grin

I'm still achy under armpits, don't know what that's all about! crampy amd absolutely exhausted! no energy to do anything! sneezing and headaches too.

oh and I'm studying social work at uni, you see I left school at 15- just didn't like it...stupid I know! so I left with no qualifications, didn't sit any exams at all. In 2009 when I was 25 I decided to get my gcses in maths and English, I went to night classes, then a year at college doing an access course. followed by a year at uni studying Early Years and Disability Studies...then started social work in sept 2012 but had to defer in jan 2013 as my daughter had spinal surgery to correct her scoliosis and I fell below the attendance limit to go into year 2, so here I am waiting to start yr1 of social work all over again! haha

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 14:21:07

My goodness what a year it's been! Very good of you to get back on it and do something you enjoy.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 16:03:55

getting a strange pulling sharp tingling sensation in the sides of my breasts today, not sure if that's even related to symptoms but it's new to me :/

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 18:00:18

I forget.....are you in 2WW?

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 18:28:00

yes, AF due on 13th xx

Leons Sat 07-Sep-13 18:55:00

Still af free today, I did a have dark brown discharge when I wiped earlier today, but nothing since. Boobs are still tingly and have that heavier feeling. Still only on day 26. oh this wait is killing me.

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 19:23:06

Dark brown discharge?! That's exciting!!

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 19:23:15

Dark brown discharge?! That's exciting!!

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 19:24:09

Oops phone went a bit crazy! Sorry.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 19:28:51

last time I had dark brown discharge I was pregnant!!! fingers crossed :D xx

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 19:56:51

Me too! X

Leons Sat 07-Sep-13 20:26:01

When did you have it? As late as this in your cycle. I was sure earlier that it was definite a sign af was imminent. Im constantly in and out of the toilet checking.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 20:38:55

how many dpo are you? xx

Leons Sat 07-Sep-13 20:41:22

12 dpo.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 07-Sep-13 20:45:06

I completely believe that the discharge I had was imolantation bleeding! I can't remember off the top of my head when it happened but I have read that implantation can happen 6-12 or 7-14 dpo! depends what site you go on :/ I wouldn't class yourself as out this month yet, have you tested at all? Xx

Leons Sat 07-Sep-13 21:02:57

No. I dont even have a test in the house. Nearly bought one when passing superdrug today. I will hold out until next week if af hasnt arrived.

greeneone12 Sat 07-Sep-13 21:44:20

We DTD on Wednesday 15th May and Thursday 16th and I had implantation bleed on 25th so 10 days after.

MrsAnderson22 Sun 08-Sep-13 01:27:24

5 more days until AF is due :/ hope it doesn't appear, every other time I've been pregnant the first symptom I have is heavy, extrememly sore boobs, like taking off my bra for bed is agony, I don't have that yet sad it's not giving me too much hope, then again it could just be too early. if I remember correctly I didn't have sore boobs until I had a bfp the last time :/ sick of this countdown, why does it have to be soooooo long haha

greeneone12 Sun 08-Sep-13 14:08:52

I am so impatient it's unreal! Trying to keep busy to take my mind off baby making. Right now I feel scared that at the crucial time next week I will actually be too tired to DTD!

MrsAnderson22 Sun 08-Sep-13 14:50:51

feel like I've been run over by a bus today sad but only my left side! aching hip, sore armpit; can't put my arm down, sore shoulder, burning pain behind my ear; going into my neck, jaw, temple and cheek :'( still feeling totally exhausted!

kids and hubby went to his grans for sunday dinner, we do that every week...I stayed at home and opted for a cuppa, blanket and a really old black and white Marilyn Monroe film grin hubby has just walked back through the door and thinks I need to go to hospital, for my aches and pains but more so because I'm enjoying a b&w movie haha...

MrsAnderson22 Sun 08-Sep-13 14:52:30

oh and my sunday dinner was sent home for me too, love Granma Mo...She's the best!

greeneone12 Sun 08-Sep-13 16:57:35

That does all sound pretty horrible! Does sound a bit like a virus....enjoy your dinner!

cheesysmile Sun 08-Sep-13 17:56:33

Not much to update really, second day of doing OPKs today and still negative, but still early really. Not much cm yet either so think the opks are right. Gonna get on with baby making dtd from tomorrow / Tuesday whatever its saying though as tomorrow is CD 12. Trying not to start too early this month.

I consumed rather a lot of wine last night, but that's it now going to be good now the baby making is starting again! Also I could do with dropping a few pounds so staying off the alcohol should hopefully help with that as well.

Ooo Leons that is sounding positive, I really hope AF stays away for you. Keep us up to date!

MrsA it does sound like you have a horrible bug, rest up and feel better soon. Keeping my FX that you get your positive at the end of the week. Well done on going back to Uni, sounds like you've had a tough time of it.

How are you feeling Greeneone? What day are you on now? It's boring in the first week or so isn't it, can't even symptom spot to keep ourselves amused! What's your plan this month or are you going to keep it laid back (no pun intended!)? I'm thinking every other day and maybe a couple of days in a row when I get positive opk ...

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sundays, I'm not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after the weekend, got so much to do at the moment. At least it will keep me occupied I guess!

Leons Sun 08-Sep-13 19:58:11

Nothing new to report from me. I had tiniest bit of brown discharge when I wiped today, really miniscule amount. I bought some tests, Clearblue 2 pack which was on offer in Superdrug, and they are burning a hole in my bathroom cupboard. Screaming out to me. I will hold off, at least until after tomorrow.
MrsA, hope you start to feel better soon, sounds like a nasty bug.

MrsAnderson22 Sun 08-Sep-13 21:46:35

hi ladies, just back in from the Dr's, turns out I have trigeminal neuralgia! a lot more research to be done on that one!

greeneone12 Sun 08-Sep-13 21:49:34

Leons you are so good for resisting! Brown discharge really is a sign that would be making me hopeful.

Nothing to report here really. I cried today at my friends house as my DD was being so lovely with her 1 year old, giving him toys and kissing his head. She also kept telling us to shush because her baby brother was sleeping in her tummy!

CD 14 is the lucky day for us so think we will try and DTD on CD 12, 14 and 15. See where that gets us. That will be next week so until them I am planning on carrying out some essential beauty treatments and trying to make myself feel confident and sexy instead of tired and haggered [hmmm]

greeneone12 Sun 08-Sep-13 21:49:56

greeneone12 Sun 08-Sep-13 21:51:50

Feel better very soon MrsA and hope the kids give you an easy day Cheesysmile. How many do you look after?

cheesysmile Sun 08-Sep-13 23:02:27

MrsA that sounds complicated! I have no idea what that is, but hope you're feeling better.

Greeneone I don't look after children, I have an office job! Hope beauty treatments go well smile

Leons good luck holding out!

cheesysmile Mon 09-Sep-13 07:29:39

Flashing smile on opk this morning. I'm thinking its not positive until its fixed but better than yesterday!

Have a good day all.

greeneone12 Mon 09-Sep-13 08:22:45

Fingers crossed! Sorry I got you and Leons confused smile

cheesysmile Mon 09-Sep-13 09:03:30

Ah no worries, I wondered where you got that from! grin

Leons Mon 09-Sep-13 19:47:04

Think AF has hit. I had another discharge today which was dark red, a couple of times when I wiped. I guess its starting off light. I normally come on first thing in the am and heavy for a few days but as this is first one since mc I dont expect it to be normal. But its bang on 28 days since I first started bleeding so at least its back to a relatively normal cycle. Im so so gutted.

MrsRV Mon 09-Sep-13 21:08:59

Hi Ladies, been off the radar for a few days as hubby refused to pay £6 per day for wifi in our caravan in Devon. Tight arse. Had an amazing time away and DD really loved first trip to the seaside. Going back to work tomorrow though booooooo!!!

Aww, Leon's, its only cycle 1, cycle 2 was the lucky one for me when all was "back to normal". Chin up chick.

Mrs A.... What the hell do u have?? Is it a virus? Have they given u some drugs? It sounds bloody horrendous!!!!

I'm getting confused with everyone's cycles.... Can we have a list of AF due dates please? I just like to keep a check on you all grin

Not told a soul about our news. Which is a first for me. We're going to try and not tell anyone until 12 week scan. We had a 7 week scan last time & saw heartbeat, whilst I was still wary as I was bleeding hubby told EVERYONE. I just don't want to tempt fate. I'm also taking a different brand of folic acid this time, I'm not usually superstitious but something just made me uneasy taking the cheap Sainsburys supplements this time. Although, weirdly & unexpectedly, dare I say it, but I have a good feeling about this time. Feel completely different to how I felt last time. Hard to explain.

Anyway, essay over... FX for some BFPs soon ladies!!! xxxxxx

cheesysmile Mon 09-Sep-13 23:14:28

So sorry Leons flowers Trying to make it positive ... at least now you can start your first proper cycle since mc.

Hey MrsRV glad things going well for you and you've had good hols smile How many weeks / days are you now?

At the moment im gonna say bfp due 26th, but may have to revise that depending when I ovulate.

MrsAnderson22 Mon 09-Sep-13 23:29:04

hey MrsRV, I've missed you :D glad you had a fab time away though and happy to hear you're feeling good!

I have something called Trigeminal Neuralgia, its neuropathic pain in the left side of my face caused by pressure on the trigeminal nerve sad there's no cure and according to the drs, even painkillers don't work. I have to see a neurologist and have scans to check what is causing the pressure, scary stuff! it often ends in surgery under the skull to sort out the pressure! shitting myself! tonight, the bottom part of my head is throbbing on the left, the left side of my face is tingling and burning, and my forehead is stinging! I have a bulging vein on my forehead which appeared yesterday and is really sore to touch, called the drs today but they had no appointments, have to ring back tmrw at 7am.

my AF is due on 13th, hoping it doesn't come but I'm not feeling pregnant, had no sign whatsoever of ewcm this cycle, I ovulated on 2nd of sept which is pretty late for me, think it works out as CD17 of a 28 day cycle.

cheesysmile Tue 10-Sep-13 08:10:37

Aww MrsA didn't realise it was that serious, poor you. Take care of yourself, I hope you don't have to have surgery sad

I got another flashing smile today on my opk this morning. Didn't get round to dtd last night, so defo getting on it tonight blush

I'm going to do a little list that we can update with when bfps due so we know when to expect that all important poas news! grin

BFPs due:

MrsRV - Already got it! grin est due date?
Positive - 9th Sept???
MrsA - 13th Sept
cheesysmile - 26th Sept
Greeneone - 28th Sept???
Leons - 6th Oct ???

I've had a guess at everyones based on posts and what I can remember so just update / let me know if I've got it wrong - I probably have!

Positive - have you poas yet or has af got you? Or have I just got your dates wrong? keeping my fx for you and hope you're ok if the witch did make an appearance.

MrsAnderson22 Tue 10-Sep-13 08:26:12

I have an appointment at 9.35am!

I tested this morning just to see if I got a + and the dr wanted to give me's still too early though isn't it? although I am 3 days before AF I'm not 10dpo until the day before my AF due :/

cheesysmile Tue 10-Sep-13 09:18:34

MrsA it could still be too early yeah, but could you tell the dr you are ttc and ask for a blood test to check - am I right in thinking that would pick up pregnancy earlier than a stick? Good luck to today, hope they can do something for you.

MrsRV Tue 10-Sep-13 19:35:17

How did your appointment go MrsA? Did Dr say anything about TTC at the same time as having this thing?

Positive do u have any news???

Thanks for list!

I don't feel pregnant today... I feel like my symptoms have gone... Sore boobs, weeing all the time - just gone!?! Worrying now hmm its going to be like this now isn't it?? Up & down I guess.

cheesysmile Tue 10-Sep-13 20:51:31

Try not to worry MrsRV ... easier said than done I know coz pretty sure I'm going to be the same. Are you able to get an early scan at say 7 wks to maybe put your mind at rest after last time? I'm sure its normal for symptoms to come and go though.

MrsRV Tue 10-Sep-13 21:02:28

Not sure, will ask at Drs, holding off making the appointment. Not sure why!?!

OMG has anyone tasted salted caramel carte d'or ice cream????? ACTUAL AMAZING. I feel like this will help with all of our worries & woes and off days. It might even numb your head MrsA if you eat enough???? gringrin

MrsAnderson22 Tue 10-Sep-13 21:17:24

hahaha I'll give anything a try!!

saw the dr today who has given me codeine for the pain and antibiotics for persistent cysts which I've had problems with for a few months, filling up, going away, then filling up again! codeine isn't touching the pain but because I'm ttc and too eary to test they are understandably reluctant to give me anything else. I have an app tmrw to have bloods taken to test for diabetes as I'm exhausted all the time. dr also said it could be trigeminal neuralgia OR the start of shingles, I also have swollen lymph nodes in my throat (left side) and my ears and throat seem slightly inflamed. her actual words were "you've come here with very strange symptoms, nothing seems to link to the other..." reassuring huh!! so it seems I'm on another waiting game! AF and diagnosis :/

cheesysmile Tue 10-Sep-13 22:55:07

Ah that's rubbish MrsA, hope you find out soon, so sorry you're in pain.

Mmmm MrsRV yes I have ... its so yummy ... I love salted caramel anything! grin I'm supposed to be be trying to lose a few pounds though so will have to wait for that treat - Booo!

Started our dtd tonight for this cycle, only had flashing smiley this morning, but had quite a bit of ewcm earlier so hoping we have the timing right. Is it wrong to be excited by the content of ones knickers!!! [grins]

I'm feeling quite optimistic for this cycle at the moment ... remind me of that in a week or two.

Greeneone, Leons, Positive - how are you guys?

cheesysmile Tue 10-Sep-13 22:57:00

Hmmm was supposed to be grin not [grins] ... d'oh!

Positivementakattitude Wed 11-Sep-13 02:07:20

Sorry mrs a for ur news fingers crossed misdiagnosed and something trivial ! If you have best doctors on life assurance maybe you could get a second opinion??

I'm in the limbo stage no AF was due the 9th if 31 day cycle like last month .... So 2 days late no signs poas today and bfn depressed just want AF to hurry up if its coming !

Sorry Leon's AF came I am at the end of cycle 2 after mc I know your pain xx

Hi green ones and mrs rv good to hear from you glad u feeling positive smile xxxx

cheesysmile Wed 11-Sep-13 07:39:27

Ah Positive how frustrating. Do you know how many dpo you are? Still in with a chance til AF actually shows up.

3rd morning of flashing smiley for me today. CD 14 today so was hoping for a fixed one, hope it comes soon.

greeneone12 Wed 11-Sep-13 11:08:01

Hello All

Leons I am so sorry. I didn't realise it was your first AF after mc. My first AF was like that too...brown stuff. I too got very excited and soon learned that it was AF. I have tried to think of the positives though. It was light, short and not painful so I guess I am lucky really.

I am currently in the DTD week although we were both so tired last night so we missed out. Hopefully things will hot up towards the end of the week! AF due 28th September. On the small chance there is a +ve result you might not hear from me for a few months wink

For all those salt, caramel chocolate lovers out there Sainsburys Magazine has a free bar with this months edition smile

Mrs RV I think for most of us the next time won't be all that least until the 3 months scan. I remember not feeling pregnant at all with my first. I literally had no symptoms at all for months on end.

MrsA you are going through the mill a bit hey!? Hope your little one is giving you lots of hugs. I struggle to get any affection from my DD (almost 3).

cheesysmile Wed 11-Sep-13 19:38:20

Hi Greeneone, I'm in dtd week too! Started last night! Thinking will dtd every other day until fixed smiley then everyday until temp rise ... not that I've thought about this or anything! wink

Although feel myself worrying that we're still going to miss it because OPKs give the wrong result or something, but the sensible side of me says every other day is fine anyway! I think its just that I sooooo want to get a bfp this month.

MrsAnderson22 Wed 11-Sep-13 20:28:34

hey ladies, so for all you who have had a virus, I haven't....these are new sumptoms today; left side of my face is very sore to touch and the left side of my tongue is numb?!! Could this still be a virus?

like I've probably said before, I don't feel pregnant this month sad although feeling VERY nauseous the past few days, could be the codeine though :/ breasts aren't sore, no discharge or anything sad can't tell of I have cramp cos my whole body (left side) feels like it's been put through a wringer! can't wait to start feeling better! I've had 5 one hour naps today....that's not bloody normal! and I'm still sitting here struggling to keep my eyes open sad

only 2 more sleeps til AF arrives. ....or not!

greeneone12 Wed 11-Sep-13 20:29:52

Every other day seems sensible to me smile we are going for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday! Not that DP knows that yet! Going in lightly the first month of TTC! Both pregnancies before hand weren't planned as such so actually trying is new to us smile

MrsRV Wed 11-Sep-13 20:54:49

We did every other day from when AF stopped until a few days before the BFP - worked for us! I think we may have done every night on a couple of occasions. Mrs A I didn't have any snail trails either!

MrsA I'm hoping that your symptoms are part prego symptoms & that's why Dr couldn't pin down any one explanation. It was this time last week I got my BFP after Sainsburys run!!

My sore boobs are back. Feeling ok again! Worked out that 12 week scan will fall the week of my birthday. Hubby & I have a couple of days off that week too, so hoping it all works out well. Determined not to tell anyone until then.

Just eaten another bowl of salted caramel ice-cream. 1/2 a tub gone & it only arrived in the shopping yesterday! smile

Positive - any more news on AF?

To those DTD, enjoy it!! we've not even attempted since the bfp. I know it's ok to do it, but if I started bleeding again i just wouldn't forgive myself!!

cheesysmile Wed 11-Sep-13 21:52:30

Thanks ladies, will give DH night off tonight then wink Hoping for a fixed smiley on opk tomorrow.

MrsA doesn't sound like anything I've ever had so not sure im afraid. I do sleep a lot when im poorly tho. Good luck for Friday, FX the witch doesn't arrive!

MrsRV glad your feeling better again, im sure you have a very sticky bean and will have an amazing birthday smile

Mmmmm .... ice cream!!! I want some ... grin

greeneone12 Wed 11-Sep-13 21:54:10

Every other night seems like tough going to me wink

cheesysmile Thu 12-Sep-13 07:29:30

Good news here this morning. I got my fixed smiley on the opk and also have lost 1.4lbs since last week. Still got another 3-4 to go but hopefully should almost be there by the time my bfp / af is due this month.

Gonna try to dtd every night now till i get my temp rise. Hope doesn't take too long! hmm

greeneone12 Thu 12-Sep-13 09:24:42

I have never done temping. Why does temperature go up after fertile period?

MrsAnderson22 Thu 12-Sep-13 15:07:52

well, I reckon we've passed the tmi stage so I'm just gonna come out with it...

I'm very gassy, constipated and crampy! constipation =codeine/pregnancy....gas & cramps= AF! I am 90% sure that AF will get me this month!

greeneone12 Thu 12-Sep-13 16:22:03

I feel really 'pre AF' today even though it is not due until 28th! MrsA we will be here if things don't go your way this month x

MrsRV Thu 12-Sep-13 19:23:26

MrsA - Test! Test! Test!

MrsAnderson22 Thu 12-Sep-13 19:29:21

hahaha I plan on testing on Saturday if AF doesn't rear it's ugly head tomorrow!! watch this space :D xx

cheesysmile Thu 12-Sep-13 19:46:59

Ah but MrsA AF and preg symptoms can be pretty much the same - you don't which it is yet ... I'm still keeping my FX for you! Go on, poas in the morning!!! wink As Greeneone said though, we're here to support you if the witch does get you.

Greeneone - the temp rise is due to the change in hormones after ovulation. Apparently its the only way to actually be sure you have ovulated. So now I've got my positive OPK I can tell when I actually ovulate as will see the temp rise the next day. Hoping this way I won't miss the window. If you're preggo then temps will stay high so a drop in temp towards the end of the 2ww wil prob mean AF will show up shortly, that happened to me last month.

cheesysmile Thu 12-Sep-13 19:48:43

Oh also Greeneone feeling pre AF now could be signs ovulation is due maybe? Although I'm not really sure about that confused

MrsRV Thu 12-Sep-13 20:31:22

Btw cheesy, good work on your smiley face. FX!!

cheesysmile Thu 12-Sep-13 21:05:26

Thanks grin

greeneone12 Thu 12-Sep-13 21:59:05

Thanks for explaining. I hope Leons comes back...sad

Leons Thu 12-Sep-13 22:16:30

I'm still here. My laptop on the blink, so now attempting to post on phone. My af started off extremely light for 2 days, so light thought maybe implantation. But yesterday and today heavier and bright red, which I read means I'm very fertile (hope so at my age ttc)? Hope a good sign for next time ovulating.
Greenone I had pre af feeling too around time I was ovulating.
Fingers crossed for u MrsA.

Positivementakattitude Fri 13-Sep-13 01:07:29

Cheesy smile glad you got positive opk !! Wahoo get goin Lol

I am now on cd 36 and 18 days dpo!!!! Done HPT cheapy and bfn !!! Feels like period coming and just teasing me so strange so depressed

Works so busy so keep long me preoccupied missed catching up in here !!! Just as bough the monitor aswell can't use until 1 st day of cycle

MrsRV Fri 13-Sep-13 06:55:31

Positive those cheaply 10hcg tests are crap... They all looked negative when I did mine. It wasn't until hours later they showed a tiny little mark. Go & get yourself a digi one. Then you'll know for sure as they are fantastic! x

cheesysmile Fri 13-Sep-13 07:06:57

positive that sucks, but yeah get a digi one and see what that says. Hope you either get your bfp or af soon.

Hi Leons, glad you're ok! New cycle, new chance.

My temps still low so gonna have to jump dh again tonight! grin

MrsAnderson22 Fri 13-Sep-13 11:59:04

well, no AF as yet, normally wake up with it but the days not over sad poas, clear blue digi......bfn sad have a spare in the box and will do it tmrw or sunday if no AF, feel pretty disheartened though, I'd expect a cb digi to pick up hcg on day of AF if Xx

cheesysmile Fri 13-Sep-13 18:50:20

Well probably MrsA but didn't you say you wud only be 10 or 11 dpo at this point? Isn't that still quite early?

MrsAnderson22 Fri 13-Sep-13 19:01:49

yes, 11dpo. still no sign of AF but I have had some discharge today, creamy not sticky, what does that mean? also I'm thinking because I ovualted later than normal this month (cd17 instead of cd14) that my AF might be late too? Xx

MrsRV Fri 13-Sep-13 19:20:30

AF I would expect the digi one to work.... However, you know you ovulated late which I guess pushes back everything else? I've read before that some women actually know they're pregnant but don't get BFP's until quite a while after AF due date. I have everything crossed for you, even including my legs wink

Cheesy keep on jumping!!!!! Go go go!!!!

So, I've been googling again and good news for all us ladies who are TTC/prego quite soon after MC. If you conceive within 6 months of MC you are LESS likely to have complications or miscarriage! Good news hey? Certainly helping me stay positive right now!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 13-Sep-13 23:19:50

so does everyone think I should wait until sunday? monday? to test- no sign of AF coming yet, nipples have been tender tonight and very very itchy!!! and it's 11.20pm and I'm staaaarving!!!

Positivementakattitude Sat 14-Sep-13 00:31:25

Thanks mrs rv and cheesy will try one, thought they all do same job just expensive label lol saying that if 31 day cycle maybe early to test ??! 6 days over due really but 19dpo that's good news if I catch in 6 Mnths here's hoping

Mrs a feel you pain no AF so strange. Mite get a digi one just don't want to knowing my luck ill come back home to find AF haha that's happened before ....but cd 37 !

Worried if not bfp why would I be this late on I feel a pulling feeling like AF n bloated but nothing xx

Positivementakattitude Sat 14-Sep-13 00:33:43

And cheesysmile get jumping hahaha enjoy ;)

MrsRV Sat 14-Sep-13 07:08:17

I can't take the suspense, can u pls both poas daily & post the outcome by 6.30am so I know where I am for the day!?! grin

cheesysmile Sat 14-Sep-13 08:26:40

grin ... I agree MrsRV!!!

So I got jumping Thursday night and this morning, but not yesterday in the end. Hoping thats going be ok.

Digi ones less sensitive than say superdrug tests but they are very clear to read so no squinting at lines!

Mrsa if you ov late then yeah af def due later so your not out yet!

Positive sorry if you've said but how many cycles post mc are you? If its the first might explain why its a long one maybe???

greeneone12 Sat 14-Sep-13 08:48:26

Ha ha we jumped Thursday but we're so tired last night it didn't happen. I am out for a meal tonight so a few glasses of red and we will be away.

Any nice plans for anyone this weekend? The suspense is indeed exciting! It's so comforting to be sharing these weeks with people who understand x

greeneone12 Sat 14-Sep-13 08:48:54

Sorry for typos! we were

Positivementakattitude Sat 14-Sep-13 10:14:56

Mrs rv sorry lol I work late so never get chance to come in before lol sorry I will try do quick updates !!

Cheesy dont worry I'm same forget what I've written sometimes but don't wanna repeat myself lol I'm on cycle 2 after mc cycle one was 31 days hence saying 6 days late but from normal cycles for me 28 days would make it 8 days late but I did ovulate late if I ovulated at all as had problems with those cheap opk

Even rushed bought clear blue monitor and can't use until first day if cycle grrrrrrr whenever the hell that's gonna be

Should be able to post pics on here really poas again this morn NO LINE at all no doubt about that ...... Surely not worth getting digi ???

Grrrrrrr how annoying I half have a hope deep down but 19 dpo I should be getting positive if pregnant ?! Surely

cheesysmile Sat 14-Sep-13 10:34:05

Yeah that's pretty much what happened to us last night greeneone, work and life do get in the way sometimes! Made up for it this morning tho! My temp has been going up by 0.1 since Thursday so not quite sure where I am. Hoping to see proper shift tomorrow.

Ahh Positive so frustrating for you. If no line at all then yeah prob not worth money on the digi. Really hope you get an answer soon.

Enjoy your meal tonight greeneone and don't forget to get jiggy after! wink I'm glad I have some who'll be in the 2ww with me ... I hate waiting!!!

MrsAnderson22 Sat 14-Sep-13 11:37:43

poas again today, the spare digi......bfn still, still no AF either. in my head I'm think 3 days late ovulating= 3 days late AF....or is that just too easy? so possible new due date for AF is Monday now xx

MrsRV Sat 14-Sep-13 11:46:38

Just reading about you all DTD makes me tired. I am glad we don't have to do it ever again. Poor hubby - we've gone from all to nothing!

Have 2 drinking sessions coming up over the next couple of weeks, one is a friends birthday at a pub with a band. There will be 5 of us, as soon as I order a diet coke they are just SO going to know i'm upduffed. As awful as it sounds I might use MC as an excuse & just say after what happened & as we're trying I just don't want to ruin anything. I'm determined for them not to know. I'll only be 7 weeks!! The other drinking session I think I'm going to have to pull a sickie. I never bloody go anywhere & Sod's law 2 things come up at once.

MrsRV Sat 14-Sep-13 11:47:38

Bloody stupid tests not giving BFP's.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 14-Sep-13 17:41:38

currently sitting in a&e with my aches and pains, casually smile at the nurse who's assessing me and I'm whisked into a cubicle, given a gown and put on the Dr's list.....apparently my smile is droopy on the left side!! aaaah so scared :'( xx

MrsRV Sat 14-Sep-13 19:45:35

Oh Mrs A.... WTF!?!?!?!

Don't be scared you're in the right place.

You'll be ok. Lots of hugs. Keep us posted, I'll be thinking of you xx

Positivementakattitude Sat 14-Sep-13 20:17:06

Awww mrs a hope you ok ! ? Please let us know how you get on !!!

I have caved and bought a digi clear blue now try and wait until fmu doubt it but worth a go !

Surely with this one wont matter when I poas ?!

cheesysmile Sat 14-Sep-13 22:20:57

OMG MrsA, thinking of you. Let us know you're ok.

Positive wait for fmu, you can do it!

MrsAnderson22 Sat 14-Sep-13 23:32:28

hi everyone, so I'm being kept in overnight and getting a CT scan tomorrow morning. hopefully know more after the scan. still no AF, no cramps but sore boobs so fingers crossed smile xx

MrsAnderson22 Sat 14-Sep-13 23:54:20

to top it off I've been in the hospital since 2pm on my own as DH has to look after the kids. we live in england in the same town/next town to all his family, my whole entire family live in scotland! I've gone through; (in this hospital) gallstone pain many times, gallbladder removal, being told I was pregnant at a&e, being told I was losing it a different night, being told I could be having a stroke/bells palsy/lyme disease/neurological disorder....all on my own as his family aren't nice enough to offer to sit with the kids while DH comes to sit with me. It's unbelievable! rant over, I'm just a little worried, sore, emotional and lonely at the minute xx

cheesysmile Sun 15-Sep-13 00:12:48

Oh MrsA I'm so sorry, i really feel for you. Hospitals are horrid and being on your own must make it so much worse. I know the only time i ever had to stay over night in hospital i cried when dh had to go home and i hardly got any sleep. I really hope you get some answers tomorrow and can at least go home. Thinking of you x

greeneone12 Sun 15-Sep-13 09:42:34

Mrs A I know it must be so horrible without DH but thank goodness your being checked properly now. The stress with conceiving is bad enough, let alone worrying about something huge like this too. Really hope they can give you an answer soon so they can sort some treatmemt.

I think we're only going to end up DTD three times this fertile period so very little chance we will get BFP this month.

cheesysmile Sun 15-Sep-13 10:11:13

You only need once at the right time! Think we've only dtd 3 times too but well timed I think.

My temp up this morning so think I am now officially in the 2ww!

MrsA how you doing this morning? I hope you managed to get some sleep.

MrsAnderson22 Sun 15-Sep-13 11:10:55

hi, I haven't managed any sleep through the night, the 74 year old lady in the bed next to me is in an awful lot of pain bless her, she's been screaming and moaning and pressing her buzzer all night. feel so sorry for her sad I'm still in agony, waiting for CT scan then results hopefully!

still no AF, boobs still sore on the sides, sorer than normal AF pain but not as sore as my usual pregnancy pain, we'll see what tomorrow brings xx

greeneone12 Sun 15-Sep-13 12:03:32

Oh MrsA I wish I could bring you some flowers. Thinking of you x

Positivementakattitude Sun 15-Sep-13 15:48:54

Arrrr mrs a hope all ok and let home soon!

Bfn ... Still no AF cd 38 and 20 dpo grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Outcome num 1 I never ovulated this month ( even with 3 poisitive opks - the more likely outcome

2 I'm pregnant and one of rare ones where can't get bfp on HPT yet

Either way its shit ! I just wanna know - also if not preg when will I ovulate when is cycle day 1 ?????? Also done opk and faint line today just to confuse even more

I'm going insane completely wanna drink bt not even sure I can grrrrr grrrrr f'ing grrrrrrrrr

cheesysmile Sun 15-Sep-13 16:19:02

Ah positive that is shit. I don't have any pearls of wisdom to add, just really hope you get an answer soon as I can imagine how frustrating it is.

Ive had v tender boobs today / yesterday, is that an ovulation thing, never really had before?

MraA are you home yet / had any results? flowers

MrsAnderson22 Sun 15-Sep-13 16:37:22

hi ladies, I've been transferred to a different hospital to have and MRI scan, which should be in the next couple of days hopefully! face is droopier than yesterday but Dr's don't seem to be in a hurry to scan me?!!

still no AF, still have tender boobs amd still getting bfn's nurses have just gave me a urine test in a packet which was chinese :/ that was bfn too no idea how sensitive it is. I requested a blood test be done so that if I'm definitely not pregnant I can have stronger painkillers as this codeine isn't touching the pain, quite a reasonable request I thought! I was told no as the blood tests are so expensive they wouldn't do one :'(

so if AF doesn't appear tomorrow I'm totally and utterly confused! my cycle has never been longer than 28 days, and I've never been late apart from when pregnant of course xx

Positivementakattitude Sun 15-Sep-13 17:39:46

Thanks cheesy not sure what to do tbh might need to go back to the docs - that already think I'm going insane ?!

Mrs a awwwww little sods ent they what do we pay out taxes for ey can't even get a bloody blood test !!! Grrrrr

I'm sooo angry today raaaaaaaar grrrrrrr lool

MrsRV Sun 15-Sep-13 19:31:36

MrsA - you must be feeling awful. Was it a nurse that said no to blood test? If so, ask a Dr!! Hospitals are shocking at weekends, its almost like the staff are there to keep things ticking over until the real work begins on Monday! This seems to be the experiences I've had anyway!!!

Have you been able to see Hubby or children today? Did grandma mo send you over a roast? grin

Cheesy - count down begins!!!!!

Positive - still keeping fingers crossed! I am generally quite angry when I'm up the duff. Maybe!?!?!

MrsRV Sun 15-Sep-13 19:32:21

P.s. when do you think we should start a new thread. Getting annoyed by scrolling down on iPhone!!!!!

Leons Sun 15-Sep-13 20:29:32

MrsA how r u tonight? Ive been dipping in and out all day to see ur updates (my oh thinks Im on facebook). I agree with MrsRV hospitals at weekends are awful, you are literally just waiting for the staff to turn up on Monday am.
My af has finished, it wasnt too bad, very light with just 1 heavy day. However Im still feeling really uncomfortable, constipated and bunged up feeling, with feeling of pressure beneath my belly button and above pelvic area. Getting painful twinges on and off the last 2 days too. Boobs still slightly tender/sore, pain in right side that goes thro to back. I normally get that when ovulating, cld I be ovulating this early, I would only be CD7. I have a lot of CM too.
Positive - i saw ur new thread, recognised it by title alone. Still keep fingers crossed.

MrsAnderson22 Sun 15-Sep-13 21:09:09

hi ladies smile I can't remember what part I was up to :/ getting mri done tomorrow or tuesday, face is getting worse, it was a consultant I asked for a blood test, hubby and kids have been in twice today so that was good to see them smile dd left a little upset and wanted to take me home! bless her! MrsRV on my app there is a button on the top right when you press it it says add message blah blah and flip this thread, means it takes me staight to the bottom of the page. I'm on android though so might be different. xx

cheesysmile Sun 15-Sep-13 23:00:36

Hi leons, glad af not too bad. I guess you cud be ovulating, seems early but if you've got the signs I wud dtd just in case. Are you doing opks?

MrsA glad you got to see dh and kids. Good luck for MRI scan, hope the hospital kicks into gear for you tomorrow.

MrsRV Mon 16-Sep-13 07:13:06

I'm running late this morning so won't stop to chat - however, flip this thread - hooray!!!!!!!gringringringringringrin

cheesysmile Mon 16-Sep-13 18:05:09

Hello, how has everyone's Monday been then? Not much to report here other than I am obviously taking every tiny twinge as a sign I'm pregnant! Only 2-3 dpo so really don't think I would have any symptoms at all yet, but keeping myself amused at least grin

Have you had that MRI scan yet MrsA?

Greeneone are you in the 2ww now as well?

MrsAnderson22 Mon 16-Sep-13 19:48:40

nope no scan yet :/ getting frustrated now! want to be home with my little family sad still in pain and drooping.

still no sign of AF yet either, that's another concern cos like I said I'm NEVER late, but ovulating later than expected has me wondering when LATE is :/ what would you ladies think? 3 days late for ovulation = 3 days late for AF? That would mean I was due on today.

MrsRV Mon 16-Sep-13 20:08:52

MrsA, sometimes your cycle can be interrupted or affected by illness & things. Your body stops doing the "non-essentials" in order to concentrate on more important things. Just a thought!?!

I can't imagine how fed up you must be feeling. Have they told you why you haven't had a scan yet & do they suspect what it might be?

MrsAnderson22 Mon 16-Sep-13 21:26:58

yh that's what I'm thinking, but obviously still keeping my fingers crossed. I am sleeping with a pad on tonight, just incase! They've spoke about a mini stroke, bell's palsy, lyme disease, and a neurological disorder which needs to be investigated more :/ or a simple virus! xx

MrsRV Mon 16-Sep-13 21:44:56

It's really is rather shit MrsA. Hope u have a reasonable night & keep us posted.

rb30 Mon 16-Sep-13 22:47:51

MrsA I hope you get better soon. Touch wood it's none that you named. If you advent started af yet I would high recommend you asking hospital to do pregnancy test before any further treatment. Just to make sure you're ok. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Xxx

cheesysmile Mon 16-Sep-13 22:48:16

MrsA that does proper suck sad Can't believe you have to stay there another night. Hopefully they give you some answers soon as must be really worrying for you. Keeping my FX for you in terms of a bfp but focus on getting you better first flowers

rb30 Mon 16-Sep-13 22:48:27

Advent was meant to be haven't

cheesysmile Mon 16-Sep-13 23:15:01

Hi rb haven't heard from you for a while, how you doing?

rb30 Mon 16-Sep-13 23:23:18

Hi cheesy. I hope you're good. Hows baby making going? i havent caught properly. just saw mrsA post and was worried so responded. positive did you go see mike gorman? how is everyone else? Been busy at work. Got my af, finished last week. Went for private scan today because wanted some answers, was told that I have pcos and a polyp in my womb. So I struggle conceiving and when I do I risk miscarriage cos of polyp. Didn't know what a polyp was until today. Was really peeved with hospital I was at during last pregnancy cos they never took the cysts seriously. Likely that I'll need fertility treatment but will need polyp removed first. Have you heard about this before and do you know of any success stories?

Positivementakattitude Tue 17-Sep-13 00:58:13

Hi well ladies I'm off the bus for this month sad AF arrived today kind of relieved as was getting worried ! 39 days that makes it great lol

Mrsrv I was hoping too ... But no but least I know the wondering and worrying was killing me .. Google certainly ur worst enemy ! Well mine anyway lol

Mrs a so sorry your still in limbo when's ur scan make sure ur not preg before as surely not gud ?

Leon's gud to hear from u glad AF not violent I feel violent so fear I have a bad one coming lol

Rb haven't had a chance to even call him sorry I had forgot aswell working like u so many hours just moved office doubling in size exciting but te consuming !

Oh and on my I phone press reply and it goes to bottom or top to the top hahahha xxxx I only noticed yday blush blush

greeneone12 Tue 17-Sep-13 10:31:35

Morning all

I am in 2ww cheesy but really I am already counting myself out for this month as we just didn't do it enough.

We are trying to buy a house too so actually it's good I have some distraction!

Oh MrsA I would be creating a lot of noise to get a blood test. It can't be that hard can it?! I really feel for you and hope it does turn out to be a viral thing.

Nice to meet you rb30

MrsAnderson22 Tue 17-Sep-13 10:55:13

I have asked again for a blood test as they have taken blood from me every day for the past 4 days, how hard can it be to test for hcg when they already have the blood? anyway dr just been to me and said they don't think they can do the test today either as they have too many emergencies! so sick! my little boy is off school with sickness and I'm not there for a cuddle, I'm so upset! anyway dr said I can go home and wait for an appointment to come for my mri! so I've basically been in hospital since saturday for no reason!

still no AF either....

I'm going home to see my DH and not so little ones :D xx

greeneone12 Tue 17-Sep-13 13:16:11

What a shambles sad Thank goodness you can see your babies and have cuddles with them. I am sorry you have been let down like this by the hospital. Bloody annoying! xx

cheesysmile Tue 17-Sep-13 18:47:02

OMG MrsA I can't believe how incompetent the hospital are being. So they've had you in hospital where you basically get no rest and feel lonely and haven't done a dam thing. I know emergencies have to take priority but still seems really poor care to me. Sorry ... rant over, I just know how upset I wud be if it was me in ur shoes.

rb will let you know in a couple wks how the baby makings going wink but im ever hopeful! I'm afraid I nothing about pcos or polyp. Hope ur ok, is there stuff that can be done to help you? Tbh I don't even know what polyp is blush

Greeneone don't count yourself out yet, you never know. Also I think we may actually be the same person as im in process of buying a house too! Goodluck, hope you've found / find somewhere nice.

rb30 Tue 17-Sep-13 22:54:03

MrsA how are you? Is it ok now? Is what happened stress related? Thinking of you, and hoping you make a speedy recovery
Positive hope office move goes well. I mentioned it to mike that you might see him. He is awesome.
Green one ditto. Hope you're well.
Cheesy I didn't know was a polyp was Until I read about it last night and scared myself... Fingers crossed its all ok. And glad you're staying positive.

Baby making becomes an obsession doesn't it especially when you want it this bad and it doesn't happen as quick as you want it to...sigh.......

Night all xxxxx

MrsAnderson22 Wed 18-Sep-13 12:17:25

The witch got me this morning, in a way I'm disappointed but at the same time I'm ok with it cos I can start taking more effective pain relief, and we get to 'try' again ;)

MrsAnderson22 Wed 18-Sep-13 12:18:36

p.s I eventually got my mri, it was clear so they are going with bell's palsy!

Leons Wed 18-Sep-13 15:20:36

MrsA sorry to hear af arrived but as u say u can now take proper pain relief, good the mri was clear, I'm sure u feel like u can move on now.
Cheesy and greenone fingers crossed for u both. Looking forward to hearing ur various symtom spotting, despite ur efforts not to I'm sure.
Rb30 fraid I haven't experience of polyps or any advice to offer. I'm sure there are a few mumsnetters who may be able to help.
MrRV. How are u? Hope u are full of symtoms and having a trouble free time of it.
I'm on CD10, and successful pgs occurred when dtd CD10, 12, 14 so that's my plan for next few days. I have been spotting since yesterday though, red and lightly. Not sure what that's about. I have an ache in my right side which is usual ov sign for me, just started today and normally lasts a few days. I don't use opks. But if bfp doesn't arrive on Oct 6, I plan to start using them. So here's hoping I don't get to use them. X

Leons Wed 18-Sep-13 15:23:51

Oops Positive sorry, sorry to hear ur af got u. X

cheesysmile Wed 18-Sep-13 21:55:50

I'm glad you got your scan MrsA and it was clear. I hope the pain relief helps and you start to feel better soon. Sorry AF got you, but stay positive and like you say you can try again now.

Hope you get your timings right Leons and have no need for those OPKs smile

OK so I know I shouldn't but I can't help symptom spotting - I'm only 4-5dpo, but .... I'm sure I have quite a dry mouth and been having mild tummy cramps, plus had to go to the loo at 5am this morning ... although if I wasn't ttc I bet I wouldn't even notice hmm I really just have to wait I know ... I hate waiting!!!

greeneone12 Thu 19-Sep-13 15:16:48

Hello All

It's all gone a bit crazy my end as we are in the throws of buying a house. Have had an offer agreed and now filling out various bits of paperwork and getting bank statements sorted etc. It's such a headache!

MrsA I know it's not the news you wanted but thank goodness the wait is over. Get those drugs in quick! Leons that is strange with the spotting. Have you thought about speaking to your doctor?

We are CD20 but to be honest this house stuff is helping to keep my mind busy. I have, however, had some very real cramps but as we know that can be caused by anything. To be honest if we buy this house we would really struggle to pay childcare for number two so if I haven't fallen this month then DP and I need to have a serious conversation sad

Oh life!! According to my App I can do a urine test on Sunday so might just do that. I need a huge drink to try and calm myself and might go all out if I don't get a BFP. I know it only takes once but if, by some sort of magic we are pregnant then it will be a real shock.

Deciding to buy is really causing me alot of anxiety as currently we live with my Dad. We do have the option to stay there and save for as long as we want....but if we do the property market might move quicker than we can catch it, if that makes sense.

We are trying to buy new build which is affordable right now but I would be scared for future interest rate rises which would cause real problems. If anyone fancies a break from talking about baby making to give me any pearls of wisdowm about home ownership then please go ahead!

Sorry that was a massive post in the end smile

cheesysmile Thu 19-Sep-13 19:05:57

Hi Greeneone! Isn't Sunday a bit early to test? If you're due 28th that's a full week early so I wouldn't think you could trust a negative at that point? I'm hoping to hold out and not test until at least next Friday, Saturday if I'm good. If you really want a drink, I'm sure you could have a glass of wine anyway ... just not a bottle! grin

We're in the process of sorting the mortgage etc as well, but its not our first house so probably a little less daunting. I think the only pearl of wisdom I would really offer is don't go for something that you can't really afford and over stretch yourselves. After a couple of months you will be over the initial 'nice new house' and be fed up because you have no money to do anything you enjoy. That's what I would be like anyway.

Also have you looked into any of the government schemes available on new build houses, I'm not sure whats on offer myself but might be worth looking into to maybe.

Good luck whatever you do, it can be stressful, but it should also be exciting. Personally I'm not looking forward to the actual moving bit, I hate packing!

Oh also in terms of future interest rate rises have you looked at getting a fixed rate mortgage to safeguard you at least for a few years if that would make you feel more secure? If you're worried talk to your mortgage adviser.

I'm no expert, but hope that helps a bit, it can be so confusing and so much to think about.

MrsRV Thu 19-Sep-13 19:15:26

Green one I'm a conveyancer. Have a look at the new build help to buy schemes. It's basically a second mortgage & usually 20% of the purchase price. No repayments for 5 years then a relatively low fee. Ask the site office if they are running the scheme. If u need any help give me a shout x

Everyone else, HELLO!

Sorry to those of you gotten by AF. MrsA glad you've got some news, the not knowing is the worst!

Someone said hope I'm full of symptoms! grin No sickness yet thank goodness. Mega sore boobs, backache, cramps & pulling muscles in tummy after sudden movements. I have this overwhelming feeling its twins. It's really strange. And really fucking scary!!!!!

greeneone12 Thu 19-Sep-13 20:35:47

That's what we are doing. Help to Buy smile I am just worried we are overstretching ourselves. Do you think £600 left after bills, petrol, food etc is ok to live off per month with a little one?

I do think Sunday is early for testing but app said it should be ok. Might try and wait....if I can.

MrsRV are there any companies we should steer clear of? Weird you have that feeling it's two in there!! Have you got a scan date yet?

MrsRV Thu 19-Sep-13 20:57:55

Bloody hell £600 after food/bills/petrol!?! Jeez... We're luckily to have £600 to include all of those things!!! grin

Whatever u do, do not go for national call centre/team set up solicitors! Whereabouts are you?

When is AF due if you're testing on Sunday? If you scroll back you'll see my AF was due on Friday 6th and I had first v.v faint line on Tuesday 3rd.

Haven't got a scan date yet, not even been to Drs! Making myself wait until 7 weeks so I am past the time when I MC last time. However, last time I started bleeding at 5 weeks and no signs yet! My manta is that thing I read "problems less likely if conception within 6 months of MC".

greeneone12 Thu 19-Sep-13 21:11:09

I have just been reading pro's and cons of buying New builds. The cons are a bit scary sad Maybe we would be ok. I am scared we wouldn't sell it down the line as there are so many sad

I am in North London and have a local solicitor. AT due 28th.

Sending you positive thoughts MrsRV.

Leons Fri 20-Sep-13 08:01:13

So after 3 days of light spotting, with pains on my right side for 2 days, (normal for me if I'm ovulating), this morning I'm bleeeding, lightly but more than spotting. I should be CD12, but now I'm confused is this another period? I'm going to have to go to gp aren't I, but chances of me seeing my lovely female gp within the next 2 weeks are very very slim. And I may have stopped and feel foolish by then.

greeneone12 Fri 20-Sep-13 11:16:51

I would go to my GP, just to get an understanding of what's going on. Sorry it's all so confusing sad

MrsRV I feel silly now asking if that amount is enough to live off. At 31 having always lived at home all this house buying stuff is really confusing me! We have been so spoilt here, living close to town and right by train station. This new house will be a different bag completely and I am struggling to come to a decision.

Anyway have good weekends ladies. I am off to Norfolk for the weekend. Leons if you go to GP hope they can give you some answers.

Leons Sat 21-Sep-13 10:43:12

and to top it all, I have a stinking cold, been in bed since 7pm last night, so whether or not Im ovulating no chance of dtd for a night or 2. Im still spotting too, so will make appointment on Monday.

cheesysmile Sat 21-Sep-13 15:35:29

Ah Leons that sucks, hope ur cold shifts soon and luck at the docs.

I'm still symptom spotting but also trying not to get my hopes too high in case im v disappointed next week.

MrsAnderson22 Sat 21-Sep-13 16:31:52

hi ladies,

well my face is still paralysed on the left side, the pain is away though which is a bonus! AF has finished too, lasted 3 days as usual, was quite light which isn't normal for me :/ hoping I get some good ewcm this month because I got none last month, had a longer cyle last month by 4 days too.

when is everyone's testing days? who's in the 2ww?

MrsAnderson22 Sat 21-Sep-13 16:32:34

leons- let us know how you get on at the Dr's xx

cheesysmile Sat 21-Sep-13 16:37:39

Hi MrsA glad your pain has gone and hope ur face goes back to normal soon.

Im in the 2ww, planning to wait until Fri / Sat next week to test if I can hold out that long or unless the witch gets me before that of course, but I really hope not, keeping my FX.

greeneone12 Sun 22-Sep-13 10:18:32

Leons that's rubbish! I have had a horrible 24 hours too. Yesterday I had awful pain in my lower back, felt sick, shooting pains down my legs, a heavy pulling feeling in my pelvic area and slept for most of the day sad

MrsA thank goodness the pain has gone. What have they said about timelines for your muscles to sort themselves out?

Cheesy we are bang on line with our testing times but I am so tempted to do one today. If I am pregnant we won't be buying the house so I am in a constant state of anxiety at the moment!

Leons hope the doctor has some answers for you.

cheesysmile Sun 22-Sep-13 10:42:37

Greeneone they do kinda sound like preg symptoms don't they. If your testing early then you prob need to use fmu when hormone will be strongest so hold out til tomorrow morning at least. If you get a bfn tho cud still be too early.

How come no house if you're pregnant? No way you can do both?

I had another temp rise this morning so hoping thats a good sign, but its a Sunday so sleeping patterns a bit different so might just be that. Will see what it is tomorrow morning. I'm feeling really hopeful for a bfp but at the same time worried that im building myself up for a lot of disappointment.

cheesysmile Mon 23-Sep-13 07:29:05

Greeneone did you test yet?

So my temp is back to Saturdays level so guess yesterday was just a blip. Roll on Friday testing, getting impatient waiting now.

How's everyone else?

greeneone12 Tue 24-Sep-13 10:19:07

Yes I did. Got a negative.

We can't get a house with a second child as childcare for 2 (there will be at least 12 months crossover) will clear us out financially and leave us unable to buy even basic things like food sad

MrsRV I could really do with running our dilema regarding Help to Buy v's waiting for second hand. Can I PM you?

Leons did you get to the doctor?

cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 18:01:53

Ah greeneone that sucks, I hope all works out for you. Also OMG how much is childcare? Can you tell i have no children yet?!

How's everyone doing ... you're all very quiet smile

greeneone12 Tue 24-Sep-13 20:45:50

It might have been too early but not holding out any hope. We pay £600 a month for 3 days a week x

greeneone12 Tue 24-Sep-13 21:33:50

If I test tonight could a negative still be wrong considering I am not due on until Saturday?

Leons Tue 24-Sep-13 22:08:12

cheesysmile Im a childminder, London based so there will be a big difference nationally, I charge £50 a day, some charge £60. Just to give you an idea.
greenone I have drs appointment Friday week. 2 week wait for a specific doctor, I do want to wait to see her, shes great, understanding, seen me through both pregnancies, and aware of my miscarriages. Dont want to see another doctor and have to recall my history. Unless of course the bleeding gets heavier, it still very very light, no pain/cramps. Still have rotten cold. Really dont think I ov'd this month yet, the only time I felt close was CD7/8, and with illness we so far only dtd CD7 and CD10. So chances of BFP this month going to be very very slim.

If you do test, you are still 4 days early, so still only a 50% chance of getting an accurate result, I believe.

MrsAnderson22 Tue 24-Sep-13 22:59:11

hi everyone,

I have nothing to report, I've been checking in everyday and reading your posts though, I am in my 2nd day of uni so it's mayhem at the minute with new timetables which have changed 4 times already!!!

anyway I still have 9+ days until I even ovulate! not sure what's worse, the waiting to ovulate or the waiting to test :/.....! it's all just one big waiting game!

good luck those in the 2ww, and those waiting to ovulate! xx

cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 23:01:10

wow thats quite a bit isn't it, altho prob be cheaper where I am than London, but still.

Don't blame you waiting for doc leons, hope she helps and can give you some answers.

Greeneone yes definitely, if testing early really need to do first thing as well I think.

cheesysmile Tue 24-Sep-13 23:03:01

Hi MrsA hope Uni going well smile

greeneone12 Wed 25-Sep-13 15:46:18

I have been symptom spotting all week. Apart from that weird incident at the weekend I have hd some weird feelings in my boobs (or my long boobies as my DD likes to call them hmm I have decided I am definitly not pregnant.

Feeling very very sad sad

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 19:08:27

Why have you decided that? Obviously you don't want to get hopes too high, but you still could be pregnant. Its not over til the fat lady sings. Keep positive greeneone and please don't be sad flowers

greeneone12 Wed 25-Sep-13 20:06:56

Ahhhhhh cheesy your so lovely. I just don't think I would be that lucky. I think I am extra sad as if I am not then that's it until another year at least as number 2 can't come until DD goes to school. How was everyone's day today?

cheesysmile Wed 25-Sep-13 20:48:02

I really hope you are but if not then make sure you enjoy your DD everyday and a year will fly by before you know it. Seems like a long time now, but when you look back bet it doesn't seem that long ago it was Xmas!

Im still holding out to test until Fri, will be 13dpo by then so hopefully will get a definite answer. Really hoping AF doesn't turn up in the meantime. Im feeling positive at the moment so hope I don't get a massive disappointment.

greeneone12 Thu 26-Sep-13 09:10:21

Well I have 2 more days to enjoy your support and kindness until I no longer have reason to be in this group so will enjoy it while I can smile

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 18:26:46

Ah Greeneone - we'll miss you, but I still have my fx for you this month ...

greeneone12 Thu 26-Sep-13 21:21:29

Good luck with your testing tomorrow smile How are you MrsA?

cheesysmile Thu 26-Sep-13 21:46:08

Thanks smile

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 07:11:46

Morning ladies. I got my bfp this morning at 13 dpo, CB digi said 1-2 wks pregnant grin

So happy and nervous at the same time, really hope its a sticky bean this time. I have decided to be positive though coz no matter what I tell myself it will hurt just as much if I have a mc so I may as well just and enjoy it and not think the worst. Oh I'm proper excited already!!!

greeneone12 Fri 27-Sep-13 08:59:23

OH MY GOD!!! I have just got into work and this first thing I did was come here to check in to see if you have tested. So very happy for you cheesy I think you have the right attitude. Be positive. The alternative is rubbish smile

Really cross my fingers for you and wish you all the best xxx

Leons Fri 27-Sep-13 10:01:53

Fab news. Massive congratulations to u. X

cheesysmile Fri 27-Sep-13 14:06:52

Thanks guys smile, I've got a proper grin on my face!

Lots of luck to everyone and I will keep checking in see how ur doing.

MrsRV Fri 27-Sep-13 19:25:24

Cheesy!!!! That's amazing news! Congratulations. Remember what I said, conception with 6 months of MC means less likely MC or complications. This too will become your mantra.

Green one - I'm getting a little worried about the childcare costs for 2. Eeeeek. Pls feel free to ask any advice about HTB. Although I may not be able to help!?!

How's every1 else doing. I've not been on for a while. Enjoyed catching up with the posts.

I'm fat & eating lard & feeling rubbish. Only just made my Drs appointment. I am 7 weeks today, the exact day I had MC last time... So far so good, crossing everything & touching wood!!

MrsAnderson22 Fri 27-Sep-13 19:44:25

aaah congrats cheesy!!! so happy for you! grin grin grin grin grin grin

woah who is left with me now? hope it's our time next :D it's lovely going through this with other women in the same boat.

well as I said before, pain has gone, my eye is still a bit weaker than the other but mouth is back to normal. uni is going great so far, workload is ridiculous but nowhere near as bad as it's going to be when I'm an 'actual' social workerconfused it's all exciting though!

so who's next to test then? xx

greeneone12 Fri 27-Sep-13 21:28:10

My AF is due tomorrow and although I am almost 99% convinced I will come on their is still a teeny bit of me that is being optimistic.

Thanks MrsRV but we have decided not to go for it. Going to save and buy the usual way. Glad you are doing well so far. I would take all the chances I could to eat rubbish.

MrsA glad your face is back to normal ish. Nothing like stacks of uni work to take your mind off things smile

Prepare for my tears tomorrow....

greeneone12 Fri 27-Sep-13 21:28:40

Sorry - there is still a part of me, not their! So tired!! Off to bed x

Leons Sat 28-Sep-13 00:32:42

greenone you are not out until the fat lady sings...or her nibs arrives.
mrsA good to hear Uni going well. exciting times.

I feel like Im in limbo, Im still bleeding/or having bloody discharges on going now for 10 days. I really dont think I ovulated this month, if my cycle is normal af is due Oct 6. So Im just waiting now for that so I can start all over again. Its just all so frustrating, I have a smear test on Mon (booked before this mid cycle bleeding started) and gp appointment on Fri. Hopefully I will get some answers and not be told that its normal after a mc, come back in a month (cos its not normal for me, its my 3rd mc, Ive not experienced it before). heavy sigh

cheesysmile Sat 28-Sep-13 08:41:56

Thanks Mrsrv and Mrsa!

Glad all still going well for you mrsrv, I am trying to be positive and think it will be fine, although i am still nervous. Ive already got a docs appt booked for Monday as want to get in the system and need to ask abt something else anyway.

Mrsa sounds like ur getting better which is great news. I hope you also get ur bfp this cycle.

Any news yet this morning greeneone, I have FX for you.

Leons that sounds horrible, I really hope they don't just try and fob you off and can do something to help.

Hope everyone has a good weekend smile

greeneone12 Sat 28-Sep-13 16:06:24

Leons I know it won't make it any easier but having some answers will deffo be useful. So frustrating when things are all over the place. Like you say, sadly, you know this isn't normal sad

I was so regular before mc but wondering now if it has messed with my cycle and I won't be regular anymore. I scared myself reading about a lady who got blocked fallopian tubes after ERPC sad

I had a smear the other day. Last one was inconclusive but thankfully this one was fine.

No sign of AF yet but last month CD1 started at 5pm so it could easily be due tomorrow rather than today. Keep going to the loo to check if it has come yet. I am sure it will. I will need a little cry but will be fine after that. Off to a friends tonight to watch Saturday night tv so that will be good to spend some time with her and laugh a bit.

Leons Sun 29-Sep-13 12:52:49

greenone any news for us.

Af arrived this morning for me, a week earlier than expected so I guess my cycle isn't back to normal at all. Hopefully this is start of a normal cycle and we can get on with things.

wispywoo1 Sun 29-Sep-13 21:16:07

hi I'm new to this. Found out I was pg about 3 weeks ago but went to A&E on thurs due to bleeding through the night. Tested HGC levels and did an internal scan and found no sign of a baby, just a thick womb lining. levels were approx 9000 or something. Suspected an ectopic pregnancy however they ruled that out with another internal scan. I would like to start ttc again around November. would this be realistic? congrats on the bfps!

cheesysmile Mon 30-Sep-13 07:30:35

Leons that's rubbish, hope this is the start of the cycle you will get your positive.

Hi wispy, so sorry for your lose. All the ladies here know what you're going through. I had my mc in July and just got another bfp so based on that I would say November is fine but obviously everyones bodies deal with it differently so just see how you go, no probs trying tho.

wispywoo1 Mon 30-Sep-13 08:47:30

I'm so scared to try again. If I get pregnant again I'll be at the same stage around Christmas and I don't want a mc to ruin Christmas :-( at least we now know we can conceive though. We tried for 3 months but only properly for 2 months, so atleast we know everything is working okish!

Hi wispywoo - sounds like we are in the same situation. I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and had an early mc last wednesday. Bleeding has now just about stopped. I didn't have a scan or anything as it was so early. Now I really just want to get going to get pg again - would it be a bad thing to start ttc straight away?
Cheesysmile - your story gives me hope that I can concieve again quicky. I am ttc 1 and this was about our 4th month trying.

wispywoo1 Mon 30-Sep-13 14:42:13

I think I might wait until I've had one cycle and see how things are then. I know my cycle pretty well and can tell when I'm ovulating etc. I just hope everything starts quickly. sorry if this is tmi but I've not lost a lot of blood. are you sure that you're over the worst of it littlemisspear? I hate the not knowing!

greeneone12 Mon 30-Sep-13 16:10:17

LittleMiss and Wispy welcome. Just some info for you. I bled very little after my ERPC. I feel lucky really. Also with regards to trying again you will know when the time is right. If you read and research online you will drive yourself crazy. In my opinion it won't help anyone if you get back to it before your emotionally ready so I would say give yourself time. You will know when to get going again.

News my end....we there IS news but I am too scared to actually type it out smile

greeneone12 Mon 30-Sep-13 16:11:17

Leons everything crossed this end that your cycle is finally back to normal xx

cheesysmile Mon 30-Sep-13 18:14:45

greeneone does that mean what I think it means... don't tease me like this ... I need to know!!!

cheesysmile Mon 30-Sep-13 18:20:07

wispy & littlemiss unless you've been told otherwise by doc then you can start ttc as soon as you feel ready. That's the only thing to worry abt, how you feel. Its a really emotional thing to go thru and some people will want to wait whereas others just want to get back to it. I was the latter so we just went for it. That's not to say I didn't feel crap etc but was my way of dealing with it. Wishing you lots of luck whenever you decide to try again flowers

greeneone12 Mon 30-Sep-13 21:30:44

I am scared to tell anyone - it is what you think it is smile scared to say the words out loud!

cheesysmile Mon 30-Sep-13 23:09:22

greeneone12 Tue 01-Oct-13 19:00:04

Thank you. It's ashame my DP doesn't feel the same. He was crying tears of sadness when I told him!

Leons would you mind giving me your opinion from a childminders perspective on something?

cheesysmile Tue 01-Oct-13 19:35:25

Greeneone what's going on with dh? I hope it was just shock and he gets excited for you soon. We're all really happy for you.

I got 2-3wks on digi this morning at 17dpo, when I tested at17dpo last time it was only 1-2wks so im taking that as a positive sign that this pregnancy is going better.

MrsAnderson22 Tue 01-Oct-13 19:41:12

that's great news cheesy smile
I don't think I ovulated last cycle, with the absence of ewcm I didn't feel very positive! this time however I am due to ovulate in the next few days and seeing cm already! hope that's a good sign smile

MrsAnderson22 Tue 01-Oct-13 19:42:43

Greenone, like cheesy said I too hope that it was shock that made dp cry! hope you're still feeling positive hun, I'm excited for you! thanks

Leons Wed 02-Oct-13 00:15:42

MrsA of course, happy to help.

cheesysmile Wed 02-Oct-13 07:36:20

Hey MrsA if you've got the cm then get dtd in case you ov earlier than you think. Hope Oct is ur lucky mth!

greeneone12 Wed 02-Oct-13 09:40:21

Cheesy that's great news! MrsA have all my fingers crossed.

DP is upset because now, if this pregnancy is successful, then it means we will have 6 months of paying double childcare - which means we will be wiped out financially. Saying that my friend is currently not breaking even with her monthly finances so maybe it is do-able for a short period of time. I guess as long as we can pay the bills and buy food we will survive!

Leons my daughter accused my childminder of pinching her arm yesterday. We have a great working relationship but it's was obviously quite upsetting for me and her to hear my DD say that. She is 3 so I know she may be exaggerating. I just wonder if you have had any similar experiences?

MrsRV Wed 02-Oct-13 16:40:20

Oh man - if DD is 2 mid March and new 1 due mid May... How much double childcare am I going to have??? I guess I'll go back to work April 2015? DD will be at preschool and getting 15 hours of funding a week until when? HELP.

Act now,think later smile

Congrats green1. Lets hope Oct is your month Mrs A.... Xx

Leons Wed 02-Oct-13 18:33:42

greenone apologies to you and MrsA got u muddled. I haven't encountered anything like that yet, glad to say. My own 2 year old DD says things like that frequently, accusing her brother of hitting her and she tries to insist that I tell him off. I think the majority of times with children that age its an attention seeking thing. I appreciate its not always the case. Maybe she saw one of the other children pinching. How did you deal with it when she told you?
Congrats anyway on your fab news, I understand your other half is worried, but u say extra cost is for 6 months, can u try say a bit in the meantime to have for the 6 months. Will your childminder give you a siblings discount? I too know of family who operated at a loss for a year until the eldest was in school, for them they felt in the long run the mum would still have continuity in her job, and eventually her salary wldnt get eaten up paying for childcare.

cheesysmile Wed 02-Oct-13 19:50:26

I guess just look at where you might be able to cut back and like Leons said try to save as much as you can now so can use to boost income later.

Hi MrsRV how you doing, how many wks are you now?

MrsRV Wed 02-Oct-13 20:19:36

I'm ok thanks cheesy, so far so good. Will be 8 wks on Friday. Have my first Drs appt on Monday so hoping to get my scan date shortly after that.

Talk about time dragging!!!!!!!

MrsAnderson22 Wed 02-Oct-13 21:06:16

first sign of ewcm tonight, poas and got -opk, you'd think I'd be used to this by now but somehow I forget every month!! anyway we've been dtd every 2nd day for the past week, just to be sure! and will continue to dtd every 2nd day til AF just to be sure haha. anyway ewcm tonight, -opk, when should I expect ovulation after first sign of ewcm? Xx

cheesysmile Wed 02-Oct-13 23:14:10

I think I got ewcm Thurs / Fri then ovulated on the Sat but everyones different. Dtd every other day will cover you whatever tho.

cheesysmile Wed 02-Oct-13 23:16:43

8 wks seems like a lifetime away to me right now mrsrv so yeah know what you mean abt time dragging! I'm 4+4 today and just want to 12 wks already!

greeneone12 Thu 03-Oct-13 13:18:06

Thanks Leons. I didn't really say anything when she told me. Just said goodbye to the childminder and thought it over at home. She thenn asked me to drop DD 5 mins early so we could chat. It is all sorted now and Stephanie was very happy to go there today and yesterday so no long term harm done.

MrsRV If you don't go back to work until 2015 then you probably won't have much crossover will you? DD will be 4 by then. Depends on when their birthday is in the year.

If this pregnancy goes well then my DD will go to school in Sept 2015 so I will have 6 months of crossover as I would have to go back to work Feb 2015.

MrsRV Thu 03-Oct-13 15:51:15

I'm confused. DD is 19 months nearly, born 12.03.12. So, from what I can gather she'll start pre-school the term before her third birthday, so Jan 2015...I'll still be off onset leave with DC2 being born May 2014. From After Easter in 2015 DD will get 15 hours preschool funded... Then DD will start school aged 4 & half in Sept 2016... So from when I go back to work (prob April 2015) until September 2016 I'll have 2 x childcare costs less the 15 hours a week of funding for DD. is that right?? So that's a year and a half of double costs. Oh Jesus Christ. Declare bankruptcy now I think!!!!!

MrsRV Thu 03-Oct-13 15:51:43

And what if I'm right about twins???? SHIT.
