Looking good

Ooh I like it, just the place for all those BFP's smile

BlindKitty Sat 22-Jun-13 21:23:08

It sooooo is!!!!!! A fresh thread, a fresh start!!!!

Whoop! I sense lots of BFPs for the brookers on the new thread!

<continues to live vicariously through the TTCers>

Writerwannabe83 Sat 22-Jun-13 23:47:58

What is a Brooker?? confused

You can tell I'm new smile

Hi Writer, well brook no argument is an old fashioned term basically meaning that we won't take no for an answer. We have come together deciding that we will get our BFP's on this we brook no argument hence we're the brookers smile there are loads of us at different stages on our ttc journey and we support each other through it all.

Are you ttc, could you do with a bit of Brooking?

DinoSnores Sun 23-Jun-13 07:59:01

Coming to see the new home, pass round freshly baked bread (feeling like a good housewife this morning!) and say hello. (A particularly big hug for maybe. I have decided this is going to be your thread.)

oooooo nice new thread. I can feel the bfps coming!

<squeezes Dino to within an inch of her life. In a friendly manner mind wink >

Thanks do much Dino. Hope your lovely family are doing well.

Lovely fred Kitty

Welcome Writer! Now you're here, you're not allowed to leave <bolts doors and eases the drawbridge>. Pull up a pew and tell us your story smile

TheLittleFriend Sun 23-Jun-13 08:42:32

Morning Brookers, nice new thread smile

Writerwannabe83 Sun 23-Jun-13 08:43:11

How exciting!!

Me and my Hubby are TTC our first baby!!

I had my Mirena removed last month and got my first post-removal AF yesterday! I'm so excited and already thinking about when my fertile days will arrive!!

I would love a BFP from our first month of trying, if only it was that easy!!

Count me in as a fully fledged member of the Brookers smile

X x

GreenOlives Sun 23-Jun-13 08:43:11

Freshly squeezed oj anyone? And I've got a nice pot of coffee on too! Hope everyone's having a nice lazy Sunday smile

Solars Sun 23-Jun-13 08:49:39

Thanks Kitty looking forward to all those BFP's rolling in.

Welcome Writer pg for sure now you've joined this thread!

Munx I haven't got a date for scan yet but told it'll be next week sometime.

Maybe hope you're feeling better today. Is it scan day for you tomorrow?

Boo glad to hear K is doing better x

How exciting Writer! You're guaranteed a baby now you're a brooker.

Ooh, yes please Olives, would love an OJ.

How are you doing Solars? It is indeed scan day tomorrow. I'm already feeling bloated. My tummy looks almost puffy. Not bloated in an AF way, just sort of swollen God knows what is going to look like in a weeks time

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 09:11:55

Boo didn't even realise k wasn't well! Glad she's doing better though smile

writer <waves> I hope you've brought the bacon butties????

Ooh Writer glad you're here to stay smile there are loads of us at different stages. I had my Brooking baby just under 8 weeks ago smilesmile she's lovely! Brooking no argument for your BFP.

Maybe good luck with your scan, what's next after the scan?

Where is everyone else up to? We need a run down for the new thread.

Writerwannabe83 Sun 23-Jun-13 09:33:31

Blind kitty : I'm more of a sausage batch girl as opposed to bacon grin

Do you actually have a blind kitty??

I absolutely love cats and my two are my current babies!! smile x

Totally with you on that Writer much more of a sausage girl not a euphemism

dprecious Sun 23-Jun-13 09:50:05

can i join? I'm using clomid cycle 3 100mg. Ttc for 2yrs 7months. Had a mc last dec at 11wks + . Crying for a bfp. Hope you don't mind me joining

More new blood grin

Of course you can d or do you prefer Precious?! You will fit in just fine here. A lot of us are undergoing IVF/ICSI/IUI, so we are all here for support!

Solars Sun 23-Jun-13 10:02:25

Ooooo another newbie, welcome dprecious good luck with the clomid what cd are you on? Sorry to hear about your mc.

Me too, I'm a sausage girl too!

Maybe I'm ok apart from feeling absolutely exhausted, it's unreal, I have to keep dong things because the moment I sit down and my head rests on something I'm out!! My blood levels are doing good so just hoping we can get our scan in next week to make sure things are ok. We were at a BBQ yesterday and nearly everyone I spoke to was asking about when we're having kids hmm

Oh Solars that's such good news!! I bet you can't wait for the scan. It's going to be amazing smile. How annoying about the BBQ. It always amazes me how people think they can ask questions like that. But I fear this will continue into your whole pregnancy where people will think they can comment on what you're eatin/doing/how big/small you are grin

More new people smilesmile ooh how exciting!

Bacon and eggs for me, with a bit of red sauce on a lovely white roll <off to find some bacon and an egg>

Buddhagirl Sun 23-Jun-13 10:24:31

Alreet people. I'm waiting 2 months to start ttc, so I belong on the pointless thread really but I've waited for so long I'm feeling pretty brooky. I'm 28, married, a CBT therapist, buddhist I like ice cream and have wanted a baby since I was 15 confused

Buddhagirl Sun 23-Jun-13 10:25:35

Sausage, bacon fat is gross

Buddha hello grin. I've always wanted babies too. I'm also 28. It's a great age wink

Boo I have so many eggs. I'll rustle you some up

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 11:20:01

writer sure do! She's all curled up with me now! She actuly manages ok though despite being blind. She's only allowed out in the back garden though (she can't jump over the fence) as she might get run over if we let her out the front. As you can imagine, she's our baby as well smile

solars very excited for you xxx

welcome buddha precious and writer.
glad k is all better boo
solars I hope your scan is soon can't wait for you to see your little Brooking bean!
im trying to pack for Ibiza atm we're going on Thursday for a week. I have sooooo much stuff, I can't cut it down but I'm sure ill never wear it all!
oh sausage and egg for me but I really want a runny yoke.

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 13:19:13

cartoon where abouts are you going in Ibiza? I take it you won't be 'havin it large' this time?!

Munxx Sun 23-Jun-13 13:50:33

Marking place!

nope kitty only mocktails for me. we're going to Santa eulalia so a quiet bit anyway.

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 15:03:53

Ah takes me back to my younger days...

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 18:02:57

Question girlies ...

Which of you have had your amh tested? If you did, did you get it on the nhs?

Writerwannabe83 Sun 23-Jun-13 18:30:36

What is AMH??

I dd Kitty our clinic tests it as protocol. I know a lot of trusts don't though. We ate very lucky here in Essex, there is a lot of fertility funding.

Writer it's a blood test to check for ovarian reserve. There's a lot of debate over whether it's worth it. It is meant to check for egg quantity and says nothing of quality. Plus lots of people Smegs have low results and still get preggersvv

musicalmrs Sun 23-Jun-13 19:57:55

<marks place> Love the new Fred. Welcome to all the new Brookers! You're all so updiffed already that you're glowing :-)

Following on from the meet up discussion in the last fred, I'd forgotten you're in Essex Maybe! May have to stalk you to remember where...

I'm still in the market for AF, so I'll happily take someone else's in return for their updiffedness..

musicalmrs Sun 23-Jun-13 19:58:00

musicalmrs Sun 23-Jun-13 19:58:44

Sorry - apparently my phone thought that last post was so good it should send it twice sad

I've had mine back twice now musical and you still haven't had yours?

BlindKitty Sun 23-Jun-13 21:37:28

maybe the reason I want it is to help me make a decision to privately fund an ivf cycle as opposed to the iui currently being offered by the nhs.

Solars Sun 23-Jun-13 22:08:40

Welcome Budha I bet you can't wait for the next 2 months then to get started. By the way what does CBT stand for? I've wanted kids forever too but only met DH late in life.

Have fun in Ibiza Face I'm the same, take too many clothes on hols and don't wear half of them. Whilst DH can usually pack all the stuff he needs in just a carry on hmm

Kitty I asked my gp whether she'd do my amh but she said our pct wouldn't fund it. I had it done at our private clinic. It's worth asking the question of your gp but it still doesn't tell the full story I think. You could go for a private consultation and see what they have to say before having to commit to a privately funded ivf cycle.

Musical, Maybe the BBQ we went to yesterday was in Essex! We took the scenic route to Chelmsford and drove through some very pretty villages.

Maybe brooking for you tmrw <grow follies, grow>

I live in Chelmsford!! You should've popped in grin. Not too far from you Musical!

Kitty I agree with Solars, it won't give you the full picture. There are too many 'ifs' and 'buts' with conception. Remind me how old you are again?

Thanks for the brooking Solars x

Withalittlesparkle Mon 24-Jun-13 02:27:19

Wowee already 43 posts in to a new thread and there's three newbies already, now if only we could get those BFPs rolling!!!!

If you're all still cooking could you burn some of the food? I'll stand next to it and together we could smoke my brooking baby out!!!

And arf at maybe being a bit of a sausage girl wink

keepitgoing Mon 24-Jun-13 03:49:20

Hi all - thanks for the new thread kitty!

Hi writer welcome to the thread, and congratulations on your as yet unconfirmed updiffedness. It's just a question of finding the right pee stick to agree with you now it can take a while

buddha why are you not trying now? <nosy>

kitty I had my amh done out here - not nhs as you know. It was quite expensive, maybe £200, but I don't know if it'd be cheaper in the uk. that's a draop in the ocean compared to private ivf How long do you think you'll have to wait until you're entitled to your nhs round(s)?

Hi precious I'm sorry it's taking you so long to get your bfp. And so sorry about your mc. Are you on clomid because you don't ovulate? I had it one month, when I was supposed to have iui, but it didn't agree with me and the cycle had to be cancelled. It works well for those with anovulation though I think.

Newbies I have recently got my bfp, after one round of IVF, and am currently 17 weeks. I stay around to cheer everyone on, and because I love these guys.

musical, no AF??? Could there be another reason for that....?

Morning all.

wink Sparks

Back from scan. 40 follies now. A few are over 10mm already. Have a top grade lining as well, already over 7mm. Jut need to wait for blood results to see if I need to change dose. Thanks for the brooking ladies!

Solars Mon 24-Jun-13 09:41:07

40!!!!!! <faints> Octomum Maybe that's amazing!!

I just worry that cos I have so many of them that they won't be able to stimulate them properly iyswim?

Solars Mon 24-Jun-13 09:46:49

But you're on quite a low dose so hopefully should be ok. Is next scan in 2 days time?

Yes, next scan is Wednesday morning. And I'm worried they won't be good quality if there's loads of them. Though I'm probably being totally unreasonable and worrying about nothing grin

Solars Mon 24-Jun-13 10:26:37

I think quality shouldn't be as big an issue for a young 'un like you. Worry not and remember it only takes one anyway, you're doing really well x

Thanks Solars. You're the dogs danglies x

BeedlesPineNeedles Mon 24-Jun-13 11:20:32

wow maybe 40 follicles - take care of yourself. When are you expecting EC to be?

<does a very gentle grow follicle grow dance>

musicalmrs Mon 24-Jun-13 11:37:10

Maybe - 40?! Wow! <joins Beedle in a gentle dance> The quality will be absolutely fine. What's the scan in two days time for -to see how they're developing/growing? (not quite sure of all the right lingo!).

Solars, there's some very pretty countryside and villages around Essex smile Maybe, maybe we should meet up at some point if you fancy it? Obviously I know you're be very busy very soon, what with both a new job and being updiffed!

Rubber, I know, it's ridiculous! I keep getting AF like symptoms, then they disappear.

Keep, unlikely to be anything else I shouldn't think. I keep mentalling that I might have updiffed symptoms, but at the same time they come and go, and are just like AF symptoms, so I suspect that's the case (it's highly highly unlikely that I'm updiffed - struggling last time, on the pill, BFing etc!).

Technically I'd be on CD 689 hmm.

Thanks Beedle trying to look after myself! Realising I he to take it easy as I'm shattered! They have it pencilled in for next Wednesday at the moment, so a good while yet. How are you doing?

Musical I will have a scan every they day from now to check the number and size of follies as well as my Wimbledon lining. And bloods to check my hormone levels. We should deffo meet up! And yore right, Essex has beautiful countryside. 2 minutes and you can be in he middle of nowhere!

keepitgoing Mon 24-Jun-13 11:48:04

Wimbledon lining.. smile make sure you drink lots, and lots of protein. Next Wed sounds a long way off, but I suppose you're on a low dose. Are they monitoring your oestrogen? When do you start the other drug to stop ovulation, or are you on that?

musical that's a long time since you had af? You want her back? Are you planning another dc? Any thoughts when?

musicalmrs Mon 24-Jun-13 11:52:24

I will be rejoining this thread as a proper TTC brooker at some point I hope keep - potentially nearer the end of this year. Can't leave too long between DCs due to a deteriorating back condition that'll make it more difficult to carry them as I get older. As my AF took ages to stablise last time I came off of the pill, I was hoping to get it back ASAP (my daughter's now 13 months old), and then giving it a few months to try and normalise itself before ttc. It seems it has other ideas though!

Am still bfing her 3, sometimes 4 times a day which is probably what's keeping it away, so working on reducing those and seeing what happens. But yes, I want her back - so am more than willing for anyone who wants to keep her away to send her in my direction! grin

grin Keep tennis fever is over taking me fan but I can't stand watching tennis I think they are measuring my oestrogen levels. I'm drinking loads, I have a constant thirst. In struggling with the protein, my appetite has disappeared. But I'm trying. She said my follie sizes were what they wanted them to be and that my tennis lining was better than they had hoped for.

Musical what a mammoth cycle!! Am I right in assuming AF will come back once bf stops?

keepitgoing Mon 24-Jun-13 12:02:11

Remind me of how long it took you for ttc no 1 musical? Great that you'll be the first second-time brooker. Or maybe rubber.

musicalmrs Mon 24-Jun-13 12:13:55

Hurrah for good follie sizes Maybe smile Yes, just a bit of a mammoth cycle! I'm not sure re breastfeeding. AF can return at any time. Now Iz is quite old, I'm not feeding that often and leaving long gaps, so AF should be coming back. Some women have to cut out BF at all to get it back though, and that might be me sad

Keep, not really sure how long - quite a few months, so by no means a long time in comparison to much more deserving brookers. I got my BFP the first month I was a brooker due to the power of rat smacking. I think Rubber might be the first one back brooking properly - although I'd like to soon, I think I've managed to convince DH that the end of the year will be a sensible time!

wow maybe that's great!
musical are you sure u shouldn't poas, you know just incase wink

It won't be me, I've just signed up to go back to college for a year. After the ms I had with dd there is no way I can risk getting pregnant before my course finishes.

AF returned for me while I was still ebf so it really varies from person to person

Thanks Cartoon!

Just had a call from the clinic, I can p my dose! So my hormones are behaving themselves! Hurrah! I was worried I'd have all these follies cos my hormones were crazy!

TMI alert. Brookers that have had treatment, did your DHs/DPs become rather, shall we say, amorous? blush grin

keepitgoing Mon 24-Jun-13 15:52:06

Errrr, no more than usual.... Do tell, is it your masses of follies giving out Take Me Now signals..? smile

Solars Mon 24-Jun-13 15:55:50

Mine didn't sad You must be giving out come hither signals grin

It's ridiculous! He's behaving like a teenager shock

SweetieTime Mon 24-Jun-13 19:23:30

Makes Place. Lovely to see new Brookers joining the fold.

grin at come hither signals. Maybe my DH never got amorous during IVF. My tummy got quite sore with all the jabbing. You go for it girl it is good for the spirit at least.

<gulp> 40 follies Maybe you and Cups both have very high numbers. Make sure they keep a good eye on you during stemming.

Been scanned today, they could only carry out measurements on 1 twin as the other didn't get in the correct position after 50 minutes of scanning. So I am very relieved we had the private one. Next scan is 20 week Anomaly scan and then every 4 weeks after that to check growth.

How exciting Sweetie will you find out the sex?

My tummy is also sore, so I'm doing my best to keep to keep him at bay and failing plus, the fact that I know there's going to be a fanny cam up there every other day is making me worry about the deposits <Vom>

SweetieTime Mon 24-Jun-13 20:10:21

Maybe yes I think we are if possible as we have so much to prepare and buy. You just keep beating him off until you feel more in the mood.

How exciting Sweetie grin

ScarlettInSpace Mon 24-Jun-13 20:41:33

Just a quickie to squeeze maybe very gently - 40 wow you go girl!

Big brooking hugs all round and for the newbies [ps well done kitty on a newbie-attracting thread, I think we've got a bit insular lately so new blood is good lol] I've been TTC for 2 yrs 4 months now, 2 abandoned IVF attempts [crap ovaries, shit eggs despite only being mid thirties pfft] and 1 failed IUI to date, just taking a break and concentrating on healthy living and upping fitness/lowering weight for the next couple of months before embarking on remaining NHS funded IUIs - in an effort to minimise mentalling I'm very occasional with my postings here at the mo but I'm always brooking for you all, Rat Smacketeers are one for all and all for one [pmsl that my autocorrect still has smackateer in it, I bet it's been a year since we used that term!!!]

Oh, in the meantime I'm being a mum to my jugdog who is half dog half baby grin he loves it trust me grin

And I don't think I've administered squeezes & wine to geek & beedle yet, shit one ladies xx

Ps I'm 20 mins from Brum, just sayin...

Withalittlesparkle Mon 24-Jun-13 20:43:59

Scarlett how did we not know you're only 20 mins from brum? Totally demand that you now pm me and tell me where you are (you may have already told me)

Munxx Mon 24-Jun-13 20:44:34

Exciting times!!

Brooking for all. Welcome newbies! I'm Munx have DD (18 months TTC, fertility investigations after being told I didn't ovulate, 1 mc ) and my gorgeous miracle DS (again being told I wasn't ovulating and another mc). No more DC for me but I love to hear the brooker's news and am crossing everything for many BFPs!

BlindKitty Mon 24-Jun-13 20:52:48

solars, maybe and keep thanks for advice. Think I'll get a quote.

maybe glad scan went ok

Buddhagirl Mon 24-Jun-13 20:56:58

Solar, it stands for cognitive behavioural therapy. Skills and techniques for managing emotions.

Keepitgoing, we have to wait for dh to start his new job, plus we are waiting for the bank to give us our first mortgage. Come on Halifax!

ScarlettInSpace Mon 24-Jun-13 21:01:29

sparks you got mail lol

kitty I meant to say, i paid for AMH at my NHS clinic twas about £80. £80 to make me feel like shit ah well! In hindsight I'd prefer not to know I think...

buddha I could use some skills to manage my emotions!! Since I started TTC back in 2011 my emotions have been all over the fucking place hmm

<rugby tackles Scarlett to the floor, to hell with the ovaries>

I reall do need to move to brum!

Hope you're doing ok Scarlett. We miss you we do. How is jug dog? <draws sword and jumps on trusty steed>

Munxx Mon 24-Jun-13 21:10:52

scarlett great to see you! Here have a big squidge from me too.

ScarlettInSpace Mon 24-Jun-13 21:43:16

Awwwwwwwwwww thanks guys I try so hard to stay away but you make me feel like I've come home every time I poke me head in <dusts self off, has MrM been teaching you rugby tackles woman?!>

Jugdog is fab, we went down to devon this weekend with friends who have dogs so he has had an awesome time bounding around with them in the campsite & on the beach and loads of fuss from everyone - he slept for the last 24 hours though bless, he's exhausted!

munx how are your troublesome twosome doing?

Oh bless! Our pupster loves Devon. I love it when they sleep <bad parent>

Munxx Mon 24-Jun-13 21:49:54

Troublesome thanks! grin DD is in the terrible twos and DS 9 month sleep regressing, but we are doing well thanks!

Always brooking for you, I hope this doesn't come across all crap and wrong but I do think about all the brookers often and wish for a bfp flurry. I told mr Munx about sweetie's news and he was delighted too! It's bloody hard, I was told twice I wasn't ovulating when I was....makes you wonder about how they read the tests sometimes.

As I say, I hope that's come across in the way I want it too. Much love xx

Munx you are lovely. Fact x

ControlGeek Tue 25-Jun-13 19:15:38

<pops by quickly to see how everyone is faring>

maybe both myself and beedle were plain old oozing what beedle described as 'take me now' pheromones. I tell you, if I was allowed I would be taking those stims every damn month given what it did to MrG!

well done kitty on our new home, and lovely to see the new faces.

scarlett you're how close???

sweetie that is amazing scan news. So pleased that it is still just the two in there wink

sparks will you please hurry up and get twinkle out? I'm dying for my snuggles smile

AF is still with me, but hopefully only for a couple more days or so. It's not really been heavier than normal but it has been super painful.

I'm probably going to be reading more than I'm posting for a little while, but don't think that I'm not brooking for each and every one of you. You ladies have helped me get through some horrendous times and I truly wish this journey would end soon for each of you.

<runs in, grabs Geek gives her a big wet snog> how are you doing? Mr G ready for his work meeting?

BlindKitty Tue 25-Jun-13 21:27:08

scarlett I'm so glad you're back! Was worried about you before! Maybe we can be iui buddies when you're up to trying again? X

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Tue 25-Jun-13 21:35:52

Hey guys,

Really quick post from me as I'm in glasto meltdown. Just started packing, we are leaving at 9am shock

Scarlett bloody lovely to see you. Not long until your holiday smile

Maybe 40 follies <faints>
Loving the come hither vibes

Welcome to the newbies, it's nice to have some new blood. I'll introduce myself properly next week.

See you all next week, pray for sunshine grin

BlindKitty Tue 25-Jun-13 22:16:37

cups have been plying dh with vegetables this week in the safe knowledge he won't be eating any at glasto! Really hoping he won't completely obliterate his swimmers! So jealous! Such an idiot for letting my ticket go!

keepitgoing Wed 26-Jun-13 09:04:18

Good luck for today's scan eggy-maybe x

Fingers crossed for sun Cups. Have amazing time!

Thanks Keep. Follies growing veeeery slowly. I fed up with it now.

Geek you take all the time you need x

Solars Wed 26-Jun-13 13:44:58

Maybe glad the scan went well, perhaps they don't want to spook the follies with too much stimulation. Slow and steady wins the race x

Good to see you Geek & Beedle

Have a great time at Glastonbury Cups you party girl, you! I can't believe it's almost time for you to be starting now.

Lovely to see too Scarlett

Well we had our first scan today and we saw a sac with a little blob measuring in at 3.6mm with a little heartbeat thumping away. We were absolutely over the moon. It's been very emotional for me although DH is already getting carried away!

BeedlesPineNeedles Wed 26-Jun-13 14:45:29

Oh solars that's fab news. I'm so so pleased for you. I'm not surprised you feel emotional, I'm almost shedding a happy tear for you here. Congratulations thanks thanks

BeedlesPineNeedles Wed 26-Jun-13 14:47:14

Oh and maybe slow and steady is probably best with all those eggs, frustrating for you though. We'll carry on with the gentle grow follie grow dance

Oh Solars this is the best news ever!! I am so so pleased for you and mrsolars!! What's the next step for you? More lipids?

Thanks Solars and Beedle by ou are both right. My bloods have come back fine so they are upping my dose a tiny bit. I think I will r stimming for quite a while so that my body doesn't go mental! I'm just paranoid now that I will have no eggs!

How are you Beedle?

TheLittleFriend Wed 26-Jun-13 15:16:45

Brilliant news solars, well done you!

Solars Wed 26-Jun-13 17:24:42

<bear hugs Beedle >

Maybe I've been told to come in for another scan next week, not sure about lipids I think they retest every 3-4 weeks. I'm seeing my gp tmrw mainly to ask if its possible to get my drugs on the NHS or not. How many days of stims are you on now? Plus mine had a big growth spurt in the last couple of days, so you never know....

Hope you can get your drugs from the GP Solars. I've been stimming for 7 days now. They had always said it would probably be 13 das, so I'm not behind schedule as such. I'm just being impatient. And it's making me so very tired.

Brilliant news,Solars! So pleased for you x

Munxx Wed 26-Jun-13 19:17:30

Congrats solars

Gentle hugs maybe you're doing brilliantly!!

BlindKitty Wed 26-Jun-13 21:29:31

Oh Solars, that's amazing news, my eyes are welling up!!!!

keepitgoing Thu 27-Jun-13 10:37:07

maybe did they up your dose? I agree you could still have a growth spurt. Do you feel huge yet? You know an ostrich egg can make twenty omelettes, has about 40 eggs...

Have we scared of the newbies? sad come back!

I think we must have frightened them Keep wink

Yes, they upped my dose again. Apparently they are in no rush, and I am not behind where they want me to be. I feel very uncomfortable today. A lot of pressure in my nether regions. Trying to find some energy for a run, but lying down is as far as I've got hmm

How are you feeling?

keepitgoing Thu 27-Jun-13 13:59:38

Oh, you poor thing, I'm not surprised you're a bit uncomfy. Don't worry about the run... Glad they've upped the dose, and its good they're being cautious as you have so many follies. There will be eggs in there! But I mentalled about it all too.

I'm feeling really good now thanks. Am loving being pregnant, esp since 12 weeks I am much more relaxed. Can't wait for you to join us.

Ooh, we move home in just over 3 weekday smile I can't wait. Am preparing by watching Wimbledon and not packing. smile

Solars Thu 27-Jun-13 14:38:17

Oh Maybe you're doing really well to hang on in there, not much longer! Is it another scan tomorrow? I would say to take things easy the run can wait until after EC.

Munxx Thu 27-Jun-13 15:24:30

maybe can only add more good thoughts and a big virtual squidge.

Don't forget some strawberries and fizzy non alcoholic stuff keep! Brooking for a very smooth move home. So pleased to hear that the pregnancy is going well.

You lot are the best thanks

I went for a 10k in the end. And just back from a massive pup walk. Knackered.com

Keep you must be so excited about coming back. I'm so pleased you're feeling so well smile

I have another scan tomorrow Solars, you are correct.

This is TMI, but I feel like every time I sit on the loo my ovaries are going to fall out hmm

Kyoung1 Thu 27-Jun-13 17:24:35

Hi ladies, first time I've been on here but really hoping someone can give me a helping hand. I know very little about ttc but my husband and i are now ready to try. So I came off the pill in may and was lucky enough to have a normal bleed approx 4wks after. Through the time inbetween I felt the ovulation pains which I am led to believe is a good sign? Anyway we are now on month 2 of ttc. This month, according to my ovulation sticks, I ovulated on sat/sun and mon. I don't know if its because previously I'm not looking for it but I was aware of cm on sat and sun, today though i am finding more, is this normal or should I be worried? I read that it can be a sign of early prey but surely not this early?

Last month I was convinced I was pregs as I had a few symptoms, feeling very tired and cant be bothered. Sore back, period like cramping nowhere near my period time. However on reading up I find that the pill is a delightful thing which can have horrid side effects after I stop taking it. Obviously the period coming along confirmed that I was intact, not preys. I'm not a patient person so does anyone have any suggestions how to not be disheartened each month when I find I've not been successful?

K! Welcome! As you TTC, you will find your body likes to play little tricks on you. I personally don't think it's any side effects from coming off the pill. A lot of symptoms one from the progesterone we produce after we ovulate. But it's great you are ovulating an have your cycle back so soon!!

As for not being disheartened, that's a tough one. But that's where we come in! It's totally natural to feel deflated but we pick up the pieces and nice on to the next cycle. A lot of us brookers have been TTC for a long time, so any questions, go ahead and fire them at us!!

Fox82 Thu 27-Jun-13 21:13:44

Oooh can I join please? Seems like a very friendly thread, and lovely to read about people at different stages in their ttc journey/pregnancy x

BlindKitty Thu 27-Jun-13 21:44:47

<Waves at k> Don't fire the questions at me though, I swear info goes in one ear and out the other!!! grin. So you're a 'symptom spotter' already?! Yup, think you'll settle in here just fine haha x

Ooh, new people smile how lovely smilesmile

Hi, I'm boo, most recent post graduate (unless Sparks has sneezed) my lovely brooking baby arrived 8 weeks ago.

Fox tell us your story.

Hiya everyone else, all sounding so very exciting on here, how are you doing octomum Maybe wink
Solars did I congratulate you on your scan? If not, that is fabulous news, lovely to hear about sunbeam smile

Boo you're here! I love it when you pop in. How is the gorgeous booby? My ovaries feel like they're going I explode. I think Keep may have been on to something with the ostrich egg.... grin. If my follies haven't grown on tomorrow's scan I'm going to look pretty silly hmm

Fox welcome lovely!! Tell us your story. We are nosey all ears smile

Fox82 Thu 27-Jun-13 23:06:11

Thanks for the welcome! And congrats on the brooking baby boo!

Well I'm ttc number 1. Stopped preventing ttc in December, just before our wedding in January. After no luck, I've been looking out for ov signs and making a note of when AF arrives for the last 3 months, and this month DH and I have ttc properly every other day before and around ov so fingers crossed! Think I'm going to test on Monday (if af hasn't arrived by then) although AF due mon, tues or wed really.

Fx for everyone ttc!!

keepitgoing Fri 28-Jun-13 03:20:38

Hi k and fox! k, just be aware that the ov sticks tell you of a hormonal surge, but you may not ovulate, you may have another surge later. If you have ewcm or clear cm keep on dtd! I could never really find much cm and it was always mixed up with dh's contribution... Afraid none of us know how not to get obsessed, but I think as you've just started you need to just have lots of sex and fun, and not worry ....

fox I am Brooking No Argument that this is your month. Any symptoms? Congratulations in your wedding! Do tell the details smile

I am keep, 18 weeks pregnant after successfully brooking our way through ivf smile

Brooking for a good scan maybe!

Maybe she is absolutely delicious, beautiful and lovely smile I am always lurking on here for news, can't wait for the next wave of BFP's!

Brooking for your scan, arf @ ostrich egg grin

Solars Fri 28-Jun-13 10:00:14

Boo you did indeed congratulate me on t'other thread, thank you! By the way you're not going to believe this but after our scan DH went and bought me a sunflower, I wonder if he's been reading the thread??

Welcome to K & Fox I'm sorry K can't help with the not feeling disheartened every month but we're all here to hand hold and besides now that you're a brooker it won't be long until you get your BFP! Brooking for Monday Fox

Maybe how is the scan today?

Keep I can't believe you're 18 weeks, eeek!!

I went to see my gp yesterday and I can get all my meds free instead of paying £70 a week for them which is excellent!! However I have been a little worried today as last night I had a bit of blood when wiping, thankfully no pain and nothing so far this morning. I did overdo things yesterday so trying to take things easy today.

Fox82 Fri 28-Jun-13 10:55:57

Well obviously have loads off symptoms probably all imaginary. Sore and swollen boobs, ovary pain, tiredness. Really tempted to test today but know there's not much point!

Wedding was wonderful - it was the weekend with lots of snow and made for some lovely photos! Cliché, but literally best day of my life. Even if some people amazingly asked on the day when we're going to have children!!

This seems like a lucky thread so getting my hopes up for a bfp!

Best thread ever Fox BFP's guaranteed round here smilesmile then there are the grads and post grads threads, once you're a brooker you never leave smile

Sounds like a beautiful day Fox! We have produced any a BFP here, you will definitely be joining the ranks soon.

Boo so pleased you're all doing so well.

Rest up today lovely Solars. That's so sweet of MrS!

Keep where on earth have the 18 weeks gone?!

Scan was all good, follies have had a growth spurt. Looking like all will be on for next Wednesday. Waiting to see if I have to up the does again, but the nurse and sonographer thought I probably wouldn't have to. I said I felt like I had small grapefruits for ovaries. The nurse said by Monday they will feel like footbals shock. Gods news is my lining is top grade. Now we just have to brook that the sperm is ok. I'm panicking majorly. And it doesn't help that I've just had a meltdown over a sodding job that twatty MrM has applied for. But I am now lying down with a soda and lime and some crochet. I am the picture of zen not

keepitgoing Fri 28-Jun-13 11:31:13

solars don't panic. Was it a, erm, rough dildo cam? Also, when I had some spotting at 7 weeks it was after over doing it.

maybe good news on the growth scan. No fretting yet about sperm, get those eggs out first. Worst case they can freeze them, there'll be so many....

k a snowy wedding! How lovely... I know, people are so rude to ask about kids at any time, esp at your wedding though!

I too can't believe 18 weeks. Still feels like a dream smile

Solars Fri 28-Jun-13 12:30:06

Good news about the growth spurt Maybe Don't worry about the sperm, they will take care of themselves, you concentrate on your 40 footballs eggs! Men have a funny way of causing meltdowns at all the wrong times, ignore him for now.

Keep I never thought of the dildo cam but it was over a day ago but perhaps it could have had an effect as the dr was hunting around a bit to check whether there was more than 1 blob in there.

keepitgoing Fri 28-Jun-13 12:58:30

Yep, it can take a while to, er, make its way down...

BlindKitty Fri 28-Jun-13 16:20:03

solars I always bleed (tmi) even with smears so I'm bound to with a dildo cam!

keepitgoing Fri 28-Jun-13 16:40:55

Kyoung1 Sat 29-Jun-13 16:31:05

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies. So glad to hear im not the only one with questions and worries.

Ok so I get that my ovulation sticks only tell me if my lh levels are high, not that im actually ovulating but I have defo had cm. I didnt go looking for it...didnt fancy that procedure but its defo there. What id like to know is whether any of you lovely ladies have had the normal ovulation cm and the cm about 5 days later but sticks say no ovulation? Also could my constant feeling like ive pee'd myself, be another delightful side effect of coming off the pill?

There is news over on grads smilesmilesmile

Fox82 Sun 30-Jun-13 09:11:32

Well AF has come early so no poas for me tomorrow sad oh well, fingers crossed for 4 weeks time!

keepitgoing Sun 30-Jun-13 09:50:40

fox, welcome to day 1 of your pregnancy. You will get knocked up this month, we are brooking no argument!

BlindKitty Sun 30-Jun-13 16:55:06

keep no, the fc said it wasn't necessary but I do doubt that. I think I'd like one, if only to put my mind at rest

Fox82 Sun 30-Jun-13 17:13:19

Thanks keep! grin Me and DH have a good feeling about this month too, so it's bound to happen with your added positivity too smile

ThedementedPenguin Sun 30-Jun-13 18:05:39

Hello everyone. I hope you don't mind me joining. I've just read the thread and you all seem like such a lovely bunch so thought I could join in.

Hello Penguin we're a bit quiet over the weekends smile tell us about yourself, how long have you been ttc?

BlindKitty Sun 30-Jun-13 20:57:33

<waves at penguin> come on in!!! grin

Welcome Penguin! Tell us you're story we're a nosey bunch here

Sorry about AF Fox but this will be your last one for a while wink

Hope everyone is doing ok. I feel like my ovaries are going to fall out. Even walking is uncomfy sad. Really hoping I get the go ahead to trigger tomorrow.

<leaves alcohol free shandies for all>

ThedementedPenguin Sun 30-Jun-13 21:34:14

I'm fairly new to TTC.

I have a ds who is nearly 10 months old, he was a surprise baby so this is my first time planning and actually TTC.

I took my last pill on 2nd June. AF arrived yesterday sad

I'm not sure whether i'll count that month as cycle 1 or not as I wasn't really trying but wouldn't of complained if it happened.

Oh and ill apologise now for my crap spelling and grammar. Theres only so much my iPhone can do.

BeedlesPineNeedles Mon 01-Jul-13 07:01:17

Good luck today maybe is it a scan or blood test today? Or both? Hope they say yes to the trigger shot today. I'm counting on you to be our next BFP

Thanks Beedle smile. How are you doing? I hope you're ok.

It's a scan and bloods again today. I hope I can be the next BFP. Just not feeling it hmm

Sorry *Penguin, I posted too early. That's great that AF has come back right on time! I count from this cycle, now you know when to expect AF. Not that she'll come in 4 weeks time as you'll be up the duff wink

DinoSnores Mon 01-Jul-13 08:55:36

Coming past to give maybe a very gentle hug. Hope today's scan goes well and that you are given the go ahead!

ThedementedPenguin Mon 01-Jul-13 08:56:10

maybe good luck today for both.

Yes I'll have an idea which is good. I can't get my head around that I'm actually planning for a baby. It is very much wanted but as I never did the first time it is very strange.

How's everyone else?

Oh does any one here use the cheap preg tests? Where did you buy them?

Solars Mon 01-Jul-13 09:33:56

Sorry to hear about AF Fox but this will surely be your month now.

Hello and welcome to Penguin you can get cheap pg tests online from amazon or ebay I think.

Maybe good luck with the scans and bloods and fingers crossed for triggering tonight, EC before you know it now x

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 09:48:49

Hope you can trigger tonight maybe

penguin yes I did, I think they're good, v sensitive, and I got mine from eBay. You and fox are cycle and bfp buddies, you mark my word.

cups it must be cd21 for you soon? Hope glasto was fun!

Fox82 Mon 01-Jul-13 11:01:07

Oh yeah penguin we're cycle buddies! Waves! Get ready for our bfp's at the end if July! Exciting! smile

Ovaries are ripe for the picking brookers. Trigger tonight at 9.30 and have t e at the clinic for 9 on Wednesday. She warned me its going to be pretty nasty as I have so many follies. They only do sedation and entinox. But she said they've got some 'good stuff' they can ve me if I need it grin

Good luck for your appointment Cups. Can't wait to hear about Glastonbury!

Penguin you can also get them on amazon

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 12:19:41

smile maybe smile good job
<ripen, eggies, ripen>

Wow Maybe that's fab news! Good luck. When will they defrost Mr M's contribution?

Hiya everyone else, sorry, rushing about a bit today, will try to check in later.

BeedlesPineNeedles Mon 01-Jul-13 12:30:35

Fab news maybe Only 1 more injection to do, you've done really well.

Entinox, is that gas and air? ask for the hard stuff straight away grin I had morphine and local anaesthetic and then another shot of morphine half way through EC (cos it was a bit ouchy and I am a wimp - it did make me feel quite drunk though grin )
Enjoy the no drugs tomorrow before you begin with the lovely crinone.

Solars Mon 01-Jul-13 12:45:45

Maybe that is really good news! Looking forward to finding out how many eggs they get now.

Oh yes Cups looking forward to your update too, and the shenanigans you got up to at Glastonbury!!

Keep is everyone on here as you imagined on FB?

Thanks everyone smile.

Beedle I like your thinking. Yes, gas and air. And she said they would be generous with the sedation. I love a bit of morphine and it makes me talk utter bollocks what's new

Boo they defrost it on Wednesday morning. The nurse said they should be able to tell me before we go home whether it's survived the thaw. I'm terrified it won't.

What re all your opinions on exercise and general activity post collection and transfer? They said they'll give me a sheet on Wednesday, but from what I've read, it varied massively clinic to clinic

ThedementedPenguin Mon 01-Jul-13 12:57:11

Oh that's great. Ill have to have a look on EBay and amazon. Thanks

Oh Fox how exciting. Sending you BFP wishes smile

Maybe I'm going to admit I've not really got a clue as to what's happening with you, but the latest news sounds very positive. So I'm wishing you well.

Solars Mon 01-Jul-13 13:04:40

Maybe our clinic said to take things very easy but walking around was good as it got blood moving around your body and especially to the uterus. I asked specifically about yoga as that is my thing and they said no sad You may not feel like doing anything the first few days after EC or ET so just see how it goes.

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 13:04:51

No, solars, and I'm finding it all quite weird.......

maybe I was told no stairs, exercise, much exertion for 3 days after 5 day transfer. I guess that was when s/he implants. But yes, I think it varies lots. That made sense to me though and meant I could be v lazy

Solars Mon 01-Jul-13 13:13:16

Yes it takes some getting used to Keep and I still don't know who everyone is especially some of the earlier graduates.

Fox82 Mon 01-Jul-13 14:47:30

maybe I'm with penguin in that I'm not really sure exactly what you're having done, but sounds positive and best of luck

I've just returned from my weekly shop with some nappies blush. Well they were free when you spent over 50 quid so it would've been rude not to!

Nice one Fox grin

Penguin and Fox I'm in the middle of my first IVF-ICSI cycle and am due to ave my eggs collected on Wednesday.

Thanks Keep and Solars. What you have said makes total sense. I have just read some posts that have said carry on as normal, but I think running so much would be bad. But then I wo der when you caact normal again? I will still be walking loads with the pup, so that's all good. I haven't been able to run since Friday. It hurts too much.

Apparently my ovaries are now so big they are kissing. My left was behind my right, and she couldn't find it until they manipulated by tummy. It was very uncomfy. I'm dreading EC sad

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 15:54:06

Oh gosh, well you must definitely wait to run until they are comfortable. Brisk walking meant to be good, to get blood flowing, and I'd think running would be fine from three days after ET. If you're used to doing things then they're ok. Just see how you feel. You may well develop a bit of ohss, but I am brooking you won't. I understand if you're going to get it it starts after the trigger shot. You've done so well, drugs are almost done now...

Have you time off after EC? X

Fox82 Mon 01-Jul-13 16:11:40

Best of luck for Wednesday maybe

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 01-Jul-13 16:28:47

Hello I'm back!

Wow I've missed a busy time on the thread. Hello to all the lovely new people, sorry not to name check but I am exhausted. Welcome to the lovely supportive world of the Brookers.

Solars I'm so so so happy to hear about your scan. How lovely for you and MrS. I had a little tear in my eye reading that. I'm so pleased for all the recent grads. I hope Sweetie and Face are doing well too.

Maybe OMG I can't believe it's time for EC. I'm brooking so hard that it goes well, I really hope it isn't too painful for you. You must be so uncomfortable with the ovaries kissing. I'm hoping you'll feel some immediate relief straight after.

Keep it's so nice to see the real life you! I find it so strange to see all the Brookers. No one looks like I imagined and its strange knowing everyone's names. I added you the other day, my last update was about glasto so hopefully you will have figured out who I am smile

Well AFM Glastonbury was amazing. I am unbelievably tired. I was pretty sensible, I didn't drink and I ate really healthily. We had 3 meals a day provided, it was cooked fresh on site and was all vegetarian. I worked 24 hours in total over 4 days, my job was pretty easy as I was a team leader. I had to walk around 3 of the main stages checking the recycling rules where being followed and radio in any problems. The area I covered was massive hence why I'm so tired, I can't imagine how many miles I have walked. When I wasn't working I saw as many bands as possible. The vaccines and arctic monkeys where fantastic. I also managed to see the Rolling Stones. I even managed to squeeze in some acupuncture in the healing fields.

We drove back after the bands last night, got home at 03:00 and slept until 07:00. Our teach was at 09:00. The plan is to down reg with burselin injections for 14 days, I then go in for bloods to check I'm ready to start stimming. I'm going to be using gonal f for that alongside the burselin. I've got all the drugs now. I'm starting my injections at 7pm. DH was so overwhelmed with it all, he's just reading through all the information they gave us. He did start reading the drug side effects but I stopped him as I don't want him to worry too much. I've been to the shops and got lots of healthy food. Should I start with all the protein, water and milk now or is it just for during stimming?

Sorry for such an epic me me me post blush

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 01-Jul-13 16:34:11

Forgot to say hi to Beedle and Geek hope you are doing ok

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 16:53:56

Hey cups! Glad you had fun. I believe milk water protein is for the stimming phase. Good luck for the first one, ate you going to do them yourself or is dh?

Cups you are go go go!! I didn't up my protein until stimming. That's great you only have 14 days of down regging! It's interesting you do your buserilin in the evening. I had to do mine in the morning and gonal f in the evenings. How are you feeling about it all?

Keep that's interesting about the running. You think it will be ok? It's horrid, I don't want to ruin any chance I have, but I asp don't want to get fat and go out my head. But I'll be walking atl east 10k a day. I'll see what my clinic says. Is swimming a no go?

The clinic hasn't mentioned OHSS. My hormones have really been behaving which is a good thing at least. Did you feel strange after trigger? I'm scared my ovaries will pop. There ad better be some decent eggs. I'm hoping for a double yoker wink

Thanks for the luck Fox!

keepitgoing Mon 01-Jul-13 17:02:43

maybe swimming is a no go for a bit because of infection risk. Most places say a week or so after EC, my doc said not till 7+ weeks. The running thing, well thats what they say to pregnant people, if you've been doing it then ok to keep going so long as your heart rate doesn't go too fast. There doesn't seem to be much consensus about post ivf pre bfp...

I felt fine after trigger, but then had a quarter your number of eggs!!

I wouldn't be surprised if you feel a bit dodgy for a few days after EC, then it'll be ET and a couple of days of rest, then just see how you feel. Rationally running can't do anything bad, surely... Talk to the clinic.

But one step at a time! Get those juicy eggs out.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 01-Jul-13 17:05:15

I'm going to do them I think, I will have to do some of them while at work anyway. I was told to pick a time between 4-7pm. I've picked 7pm as I run clinic a few times a week between 4-6pm so would be difficult to do it then. DH does want to do some of them though.

It's strange that its different times, I would much rather do mine in the morning as I'm going to have to take mine to work. It's a pain as they need to be in the fridge, I'm going to have to get a cool bag.

I'm starting to feel really nervous, 2 hours until my first injection........confused

Don't be nervous Cups, you'll be great. I didn't need to keep my buserilin in the fridge. Just my gonal f.

You're right Keep, one step at a time. I don't think I'll get 40 eggs though.....

Solars Mon 01-Jul-13 17:21:23

Cups good luck with your first shot! Also agree milk, protein etc can start when you start stimming although when I down regged the first time I was told to still drink a lot of water, helps to get the drugs where they're meant to or something. Sounds like you had a fantastic time at Glasto and weather was quite nice too!

Maybe good luck with your trigger tonight and enjoy your drug free day tomorrow. I'm sure you'll have lots of juicy eggs to pick from.

I have just been rudely awaken from a lovely nap by a 0844 number. I didn't answer it though. I'm getting quite tired of these ppi and loan companies, grrr!!

How are all the newbies doing?

Fox82 Mon 01-Jul-13 18:01:16

I seem to get a lot of those calls solars - so annoying!

Well AF came for me yesterday and is heavier than ever before (and I'm never particularly light anyway). Wonder if this means anything?

I don't feel so bad about taking advantage of the free nappy offer in the supermarket today - a guy on my Facebook has just announced he's done exactly the same! He has no dc and is gay, and not even in the process of looking into children grin

ControlGeek Mon 01-Jul-13 18:14:34

maybe well done on getting to trigger! I'm still amazed at the difference in clinics' approaches, mine only did EC under general anaesthetic thank gawd but I am sure you will be fine. As for post-EC, get yourself a Percy to ensure complete and utter bedrest grin

Sorry I've not read anything beyond maybe's post about being able to trigger tonight, but brooking for you all regardless. Cups, hope glasto has been good to you!

<Grabs hold of Geek to stop her escaping again>

Maybe, that's brilliant re your trigger. Brooking EC goes well too.

Cups, I am so excited for you too!

Welcome to the newbies. I'm a post grad with a scrummy 6 month old brooking baby boy and I couldn't have done it without the brookers!

<rugcy tackles Geek to the floor>

<tackles Gen too>

<pops an ovary>

What's a Percy?!

BlindKitty Mon 01-Jul-13 18:57:52

penguin I don't always u dear stand everything either tbh and I've been ttc for 2 years! geek did do 'an idiots guide to ivf' a while back that she might share again? although I've already forgotten it I get the ic from eBay £3.49 for 25 when I last got some and then they gave me another 10 for feedback!

cups I'm soooo impressed with you're well behaved glasto I clearly would have ruined myself, hence why I just didn't go. You totally deserve to get preggers now!

<thinks of a way to delicately tell Maybe what a Percy is> farmer Giles, bum grapes, Percy the pile grin

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 01-Jul-13 19:08:34

Well first injection done, I was a bit of a wimp and nearly couldn't do it. DH gave me a pep talk and I managed to do it grin
It's not that bad at all it's just overcoming the psychological barrier of stabbing yourself! It all feels very real now.

Geek!!! Lovely to see you, how are you? Maybe I really hope you and I don't get a Percy smile

Kitty it was hard not drinking at all. DH managed it as well, I was amazed he didn't crack. How are you doing?

Fox ha sounds like something I would do. I've collected a few random baby things over the years that I keep hidden in the wardrobe. Sorry to hear AF is visiting. This month will be your month.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 01-Jul-13 19:09:29

Hello Gen how is are your lovely DC?

Maybe, don't go popping an ovary!

Cups, I'm fine ta and the dc are lovely. Well done you on the first stabbing! Only 13 to go, then you will be stimming!

By the way brookers, I was at a church fete on sat and was v disappointed that there wasn't a smack the rat game. sad

Fox82 Mon 01-Jul-13 19:33:54

Well done cups for stabbing yourself! Must be really difficult to actually do it!!

ControlGeek Mon 01-Jul-13 19:50:31

Gives boo, maybe and cups a squeeze

cups well done on your first jab, you'll be a pro by tomorrow night. So pleased this has finally come round for you, it's been a helluva long wait you've had.

maybe hopefully you're now enlightened about Percy thanks to boo's efforts - in all seriousness, I wouldn't wish the bugger on anyone!

kitty I'd completely forgotten about the IVF guide I did. I will look it out, but it probably won't be until the weekend as MrG has a lot of work issues to deal with this week and most of our evenings will probably be spent going over that.

I have my post-fail review with the consultant on Saturday, so we will go over our plans with him then and see if he still wants to remove my fibroid before my next go. We are definitely going to go ahead with getting my immunes tested, and also to get MrG's testosterone tested as he's been taking all the right stuff and things are still going downhill.

And in other news, I've been roped into baking and decorating biscuits for the WI <eeeek!!!!> Have just sent MrG off to the shops for an emergency baking tray. Aside from beans on toast, I can't remember the last time I cooked anything confused

Geek you have a busy week ahead of you! I hope everything goes well for MrG this week. I'm sure you will get all the answers you need on Saturday and then you can get a plan on paper but always feels better when you have a plan. And how on earth could I have forgotten Percy?! I hope he ha well and truly left you alone now?!

Generic my (new!) SIL mentioned smack the rat yesterday grin not in a sexy way though!!

Thanks for the reminder Boo <clenches cheeks>

Well done Cups. So know what you mean about it being real! A few days time and it will be second nature.

ThedementedPenguin Mon 01-Jul-13 20:25:51

Oh my how quick things move around here. I leave for a few hours and then I'm way behind. Ill try my best to catch up but ill possibly remember events but not names so sorry in advance.

Maybe I hope everything goes well for you, and you get as much of the hard drugs you need.

Cups I take it you were working at glasto? Well done on your first shot. I can't imagine having to do it to myself.

What is a smack the rat game?

Pigeon in one of the first brooker threads one lady compared the timing of conception like the fareground game smack the rat grin

GreenOlives Mon 01-Jul-13 20:55:17

Just popping in to say I'm brooking my bloody socks off for maybe and cups! And I'm full of admiration for the self injecting - I'm fine with injections myself and obviously used to giving them at work but actually sticking yourself must be hard!!
Good luck with appt on Sat geek, your plan sounds good to me - definitely worth doing the other tests before your next ivf cycle.
Hi to the newbies, I'm a post grad who with the help of brooking along my long ttc journey now has a gorgeous 4 month old baby (as well as his gorgeous 5 yr old big brother!) And talking of Smack the Rat there was apparently one at DSs school fair (which I was at) and I didn't see it!! blush <hangs head in shame> I just read about it in the newsletter afterwards! grin

Thanks lovely Olives grin. Hope your little family are all well. I had done loads of Injections too, so I thought I'd be fine. But that first one, I was shaking like a leaf!!

I'm triggered ladies. I'm shit scared though. Like there's no going back.

Is anyone else watching Rick? God I love that man!

BeedlesPineNeedles Tue 02-Jul-13 06:57:19

Well done for starting the injections cups and I'm very impressed that you both avoided alcohol at glastonbury.

maybe I can't believe you clinic hasn't mentioned OHSS to you. I thought the main risk factors were being young, slim and producing loads of eggs. I wouldn't expect you will feel much like running for a few days, but then I never feel much like running so what would I know!!!

geek good luck with the appointment on sat, I hope its not too hard emotionally. And I hope everything goes OK with MrG and work.

I told my mum about our IVF not working last night, she made all the right noises and then told me abut her friend's daughter who was due to have IVf but instead got a surprise BFP just before. Thanks mum that really makes me feel better hmm At least she didn't say "just relax and it'll happen"

Oh Beedle. Mums have that knack don't they. Always managing to put their foot in it one way or another. I'm glad you to her though. Do you feel better for it?

The clinic told me I was high risk, but haven't really mentioned it since. I don't know if this is because my e2 levels have been stable throughout. Thy just always ooh and ahh at every scan as to how 'busy' my ovaries are.

I have been very indulgent and had a lie in this morning! No need to get up for a jab, so why not!! Still feel like I could sleep for enland though. I think it was Keep that asked, but I'm not at work at the moment. I don't start for another 4 weeks. Given how bad have felt, I don't now how I could've done it and worked a 12 hour day.

Hope everyone is ok today. Sorry for the self indulgent posts of late blush

keepitgoing Tue 02-Jul-13 10:00:32

oh god, beedle... I suppose her point was that it can still happen, clumsily made as it was. I know those stories are supposed to make you feel better, but I always felt they were bad somehow - either 'why bother having ivf it'll happen eventually', or 'it's only me this doesn't happen to'... Hope you and MrB are having a lovely time off from TTC and worrying about it all

geek hope that you have a chance for a good long discussion on saturday with the doncultant, and that he doesn't rush you.

You've tirggered, maybe!! That's great news. Enjoy your day off drugs. I suggest you ask them about ohss again tomorrow, and what to watch out for, what to do etc. I really really hope it goes well.

Well, I've had to take off my rings due to fat fingers I wasn't aware of how much I fiddle with them, and now keep having sharp panics that they've fallen off until my sensible part of my brain remembers.

keepitgoing Tue 02-Jul-13 10:05:40

Self indulgent, my arse. Look back at any one of us during our ivfs and we were the same or more so!

Thanks lovely Keep. Hurrah on fat fingers!! The heat there really can't be helping that!! I will ask about the OHSS tomorrow. I'm drinking plenty of fluids still.

Have you started packing yet?

keepitgoing Tue 02-Jul-13 11:43:47

Only started in that we have a charity coming to pick up our unwanted stuff tomorrow so I've had to go through things. We are going away for a long weekend on Thursday, so I think I'll start packing next week. smile

SweetieTime Tue 02-Jul-13 17:08:27

Sorry for my lack of posting ladies but I have been lurking from a distance. Welcome all the newbies to a very supportive thread where everyone is so lovely and willing everyone to their BFPs.

Maybe well done with the triggering my lovely, my EC was done under heavy sedation too I don't remember a thing and felt fine afterwards. I would imagine with that number of follies you will be quite sore the next few days. I wouldn't try to push yourself with exercise, give your body time to recover ready for ET. I am Brooking my best Brooking socks off for you tomorrow. My clinic advised taking fibrogels to prevents straining and arrival of Percy during treatment, can not hurt if you are worried.

Cups well done on your first jabs. I thought you nursey Brookers would find injections easier than us none medical types. I found jabbing easy to be honest and wouldn't let trust DH to do mine.

Beedle sorry your DM was so tackless, I really don't think anyone who hasn't struggled TTC can understand whether they are family or whatever. Have you been back to your consultant yet?

Geek good luck for Saturday, I found our failed cycle review very hard but you seem to have a better consultant than we did. Make sure you have your questions at the ready and don't be fobbed off. Hope the cake baking goes well, perhaps Maybe can give you some of her top tips. We used to always have a culinary interest didn't we? I was thinking of Imps the other day and her knowledge of everything that could be frozen.

Haha Sweetie! I'd forgotten imps and her freezer lists grin

That's a good tip for Percy prevention. My ovaries are pressing on my bowel so if they are sore tomorrow I can see why Percy could appear.... How are you feeling?

That's a step in the right direction Keep! Are you of anywhere nice! Are you looking forward to English food again, or are you going to miss Thai?

Dino I'm so sorry I didnt say hello the other day. How are things with you?

Solars Tue 02-Jul-13 18:05:01

I often wonder whether we'll ever see Imps again....

Maybe just wanted send you lots of brooking powers for your EC tomorrow, can't wait to hear how many enggies you get. Rest up when yo get home x

Geek lovely, good luck with your consultation on Saturday. I cried at my follow up

Beedle I think unless you've actually been through ivf yourself it's sometimes quite difficult for people to know what to say. But big hugs to you anyway, hope you're ok too, lovely x

Big waves to everyone else

Solars Tue 02-Jul-13 18:05:39

Enggies???! Obviously I meant eggies...

BlindKitty Tue 02-Jul-13 18:46:28

So sorry to ask a rookie question but are you saying its normal to get piles from ivf???

beedle I've lost count with how many times my mum has told me about my cousin who was ttc for ages about a year I reckon and then got pg once she stopped clomid, relaxed and went on holiday bet it was the waiter's wouldn't mind but she's been of 3 times now in last 4 years and I haven't had a whiff of one in over 2 years!

cups well done re injecting yourself today! You deserve a huge glass of metaphorical wine!!! Afraid dh wasn't as well behaved as your dh at glasto! And let's just say if by some miracle I am actually pg this month I'm hoping everyone will forget just how much I indulged this weekend...think I just can't see it happening naturally anymore so just given up (although I know that's the wrong attitude!)

Thanks so much Solars. Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow too. Can't wait to hear all about it. I don't mind if they find some engies in there too wink x

Yes Kitty. Poor Geek got piles. The progesterone doesn't help!

Buddhagirl Tue 02-Jul-13 18:58:43

Hi all I've been lurking... Not sure what to say to people.

Ivf sounds like such an emotionally exhausting thing to go through. I do feel for those that do it.

I'm still waiting to ttc. DH keeps mucking about. He had a bit of a down day yesterday and said 'how can we have kids in a year or two if I don't get this job' 2 fucking years! We decided on September sad such a big part of my life is in the hands of someone else, while I want us both to be in the best place and everything I'm so fed up of waiting and having literally no control over the decision. sigh moan

ThedementedPenguin Tue 02-Jul-13 19:29:57

Hi again Buddha I was on the waiting thread too smile I'm sorry to hear about your DH changing his mind. Maybe he was just having a bad day and will change it back again.

Good luck for tomorrow maybe hoping there will be plenty of eggs. After tomorrow what is the next stage for you?

Gosh it's really hard keeping up with this thread. Everything moves so quick.

Oh Buddha. That sounds tough. The one thing that TTC had taught me I that there is no 'right time' to have a baby. I think you will always find a way to cope. I'm hoping DH comes round soon.

Thanks so much Penguin. Believe it or not, this thread is much quieter at the moment grin. hopefully tomorrow I will have some nice eggs, MrMaybes sperm will defrost properly and they will inject the eggs. Then we get a call the next morning to see how many have fertilised. Depending how many have fertilised if any have at all then they will either be put back in on Friday or Monday. Then it's 2 weeks of progesterone supplements and then a pregnancy test. And breathe grin

BlindKitty Tue 02-Jul-13 19:47:50

maybe omg I thought they didn't come until you actually have a baby!!!

buddha <waves> can I ask how old you are? If I'm really honest I wish we'd started so much sooner than we did but we waited for the perfect time. Now aged 33 and ttc over 2 years, really wish we'd started earlier

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Tue 02-Jul-13 20:53:39

Maybe I will be using all my brooking power for you tomorrow. I hope it goes well. I can't wait to hear how many eggs you get. Brooking for MrM's sample to defrost nicely.

Solars I'm not sure what you are doing tomorrow, I must have missed that part of your post but I'm brooking for you regardless smile how are you feeling? Any symptoms?

Geek good luck for Saturday, I'm impressed how many appointments you get at the weekend! I hope MrG is doing ok with his work problems.

Beedle sorry to hear that your DM upset you a bit. My mum is always putting her foot in it but DH keeps reminding me her heart is in the right place.

Budda I'm sorry to hear that you might have to put of ttc. My DH also changed his mind a few times so I know how frustrating it can be. I pestered him for about 2 years before he gave in!

Kitty I'm totally amazed at my DH stopping drinking as he loves going out and having a few beers. When our consultant told him that his SA was so bad we would need ICSI he really sorted himself out. He has lost nearly 4 stone shock (he was quite overweight) and hasn't had a drink in 4 months.

Olives and Sweetie I'm fine stabbing other people babies but when it comes to me I don't like it! It's definitely the pushing the needle in myself that I find strange. I think having some medical knowledge is not always a good thing grin

BlindKitty Tue 02-Jul-13 21:37:06

cups that is impressive. Will you get to know his sperm count this cycle? We really do need to knuckle down again tbh. I dread to think what my dhs sa would be like post glasto!

Thanks Cups. Will check in when I'm back to let you know the good/bad news. They've told me to eat something before bed, but feeling too nervous hmm

Munxx Tue 02-Jul-13 23:00:10

maybe I've been thinking about you all day, trying to compose a message for you to convey just how much I want tomorrow to go well for you. You've waited such a long time, and I know how nervous you are.

Brooking like anything for you, I hope it goes smoothly. Much love.

And Solars brooking your scan goes well tomorrow, brooking that you sleep tonight.

Much much love to all, Cups, kitty, lovely geek I hope the appointment gives you the answers you need and a plan forward.

Apologies for those I have not name checked.

keepitgoing Wed 03-Jul-13 02:04:47

Buddha could he have meant that you'll actually have the baby in a year or two? When er started my dh was vv nervous and almost changed his mind halfway through month one... I think we both thought ee would get pg straight away. Ha ha. I hope you can sort it out, as its v tough to wait.

penguin, are you getting ready for shag week??

maybe, good luck. It'll be a relief to get all those eggs out I bet! I'm brooking for eggs, sperm, fertilization...

musicalmrs Wed 03-Jul-13 04:07:21

<waves to all>

Maybe, I've been thinking of you lots. Will be brooking with all my might for you today - after your long journey, you deserve today to go wonderfully. I'll be lurking all day for news. I hope defrosting goes to plan, and that your ovaries feel more human soon...!

Solars, brooking lots for your scan to go well.

Maybe brooking for you today, brooking loads for Mr M's frosties too.

BeedlesPineNeedles Wed 03-Jul-13 05:25:35

Brooking hard for you today maybe

And for you scan solars

ThedementedPenguin Wed 03-Jul-13 10:02:19

Brooking for maybe and solars today.

keep I very much doubt it will be happening for me this month. Dp is 'sick', he had bloods done at docs yesterday and in the I'm feeling so sorry for me way.

We talked last night and he is on the no sex I'm far too sick. hmm

Oh Penguin that's poo, is it sex week?

Maybe, Solars still brooking for you both!!

Hello lovely brookers. I'm I'm recovery. I have laid 16 fen eggs. I'm sore but ok. I love you all xxx

keepitgoing Wed 03-Jul-13 10:25:05

16!!! Brilliant. Well done!! smile Now upping brooking for the defrost process x

16 shock no wonder your ovys felt heavy!! Well done you, brooking for Mr M's frosties.

We've got sperm!

gringrin I have never been so happy to hear that about someone else's husband grin so are they on a date tonight? When will et be?

keepitgoing Wed 03-Jul-13 10:57:09

Yay yay YAY!!!! <grin>

Boo there will be deep penetration invoked wink

I couldn't have done this without you lot xxx

ThedementedPenguin Wed 03-Jul-13 10:59:27

Tickety it's not sex week yet. So I've fingers crossed for a quick recovery but knowing Dp it's doubtful. Although I will keep my hopes up.

Maybe I'm glad things went well. That's brilliant on both news. So how long until you know if they are fertilised? Hope your not too sore.

BeedlesPineNeedles Wed 03-Jul-13 11:22:24

excellent news maybe you must be so relieved that the first hurdle is out of the way. I'm so pleased for you both. Now take it easy and have MrMaybe look after you - brookers orders grin

SweetieTime Wed 03-Jul-13 11:25:48

well done maybe you take it easy now. and another woo hoo for having the swimmers making it though defrost.

DinoSnores Wed 03-Jul-13 11:32:37

Wonderful news, maybe! Brooking for them all!

Thank you so so much everyone. Will know by 9 tomorrow what's happening! Very sleepy. It was quite painful, the sedation just made me a bit woozy. Normally when I've had sedation I have no recollection of anything. But it was all good. Nearly home now, so I shall be putting my feet up x

Solars Wed 03-Jul-13 12:04:27

Wow!! Fantastic news on the eggies and spermies Maybe <steps up the sultry fertilise dance> you rest and take ie easy now, lovely!

I am relieved to report little blob is now 9.6mm with a strong heartbeat. Thank you so much for all your brooking, I love you all lots too xx

<turns lights down low for Maybe's eggies and spermies to get it on>

BeedlesPineNeedles Wed 03-Jul-13 12:08:07

Oh that is good news solars I'm so pleased. did they find the cause of the spotting?

Solars Wed 03-Jul-13 12:30:49

Thanks Beedle they had a good look around the womb and could see nothing of concern there so have just said its the cervix getting irritated. It was such a relief. How are you doing, lovely?

Oh Solars that's the best news ever!! I'm so so pleased for you xxx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Wed 03-Jul-13 12:43:48

Solars fantastic scan news gringringrin

Maybe wowsers 16 eggs shock you have been a busy girl! Great news about the spermies. Hope you have got your feet up.

<puts on 101 love songs, lights some candles and waits impatiently for egg and sperm to meet>

musicalmrs Wed 03-Jul-13 12:49:38

Excellent news Solars - so so happy for you.

Wow, Maybe, 16?! No wonder your ovaries felt like they were going to fall out! Hurrah for the sperm too - I hope they're enjoying getting to know one another grin

Hope you're putting your feet up and getting some well earned rest!

GreenOlives Wed 03-Jul-13 12:53:31

16 eggs! shock That's brilliant! grin
Brooking for them to "get it on" with MrMs swimmers <that was my first dance song smile > Now I hope you're taking it easy?
Great scan news solars! Hope you can relax a tiny bit now? x

Thank you so much again lovely brookers. I am at home, on the sofa with a hot chocolate and am about to catch up on last nights Luther. Pain has increased a bit but is manageable with paracetamol and a hot water bottle! Am veeeeery woozy now though. I can feel a nice nap coming on grin

SweetieTime Wed 03-Jul-13 13:25:04

Maybe I hope you have a cushion at the ready to hide behind.

Munxx Wed 03-Jul-13 13:28:22

maybe and solars wonderful news, just wonderful. So happy!

Beedle please forgive the lack of name check least post, hope you are doing ok.

Munxx Wed 03-Jul-13 13:28:51

Shh sweetie she may be zzzzzzzz by now ;)

Munx you're right. I fell asleep. Didn't make Luther! Going to attempt it in a minute.

No call from the clinic which means I must have some eggs that were mature enough. I had a dream I had a baby elephant shock

It's been so lovely seeing all you grads back, it's mean so much. And for that, I'm going to share my malteasers with you x

Solars Wed 03-Jul-13 17:56:48

I suppose 16 eggies could make a baby elephant Maybe shock

Buddha I really feel for, especially as you're so ready to start ttc, my DH was like this at the very start and it's really hard to manage. Hope you can manage to sit him down for a chat about it when he's in a good mood.

Penguin brooking your DH recovers before sex week.

Fox are you still out buying nappies??? smile

Oh what a fab day in brooking land! So happy for you Maybe. Brooking no argument that your eggs and Mr m's sperm are getting it oooooon!

And, Solars, that is brilliant news re your scan!

ControlGeek Wed 03-Jul-13 20:45:01

maybe OMG 16! well done you smile I think you can have a very well deserved rest now. Brooking like mad for their petridish date with MrM's swimmers.

solars wow that's such fantastic news, well done lovely!

cups hope stabbing yourself is feeling a bit more natural now. Not too long to go before you move on to the good stuff smile

Sorry not to name check more, thinking of you all.

DinoSnores Wed 03-Jul-13 20:54:58

Great news from both maybe and solars! grin

GreenOlives Wed 03-Jul-13 20:59:10

maybe I really hope you didn't watch Luther on your own! I nearly jumped out of my skin last night when I watched it and that was with DH right beside me!! grin

SweetieTime Wed 03-Jul-13 21:03:53

Olives I have warned Maybe to have a cushion handy. I watched from behind a cushion asking dh for running commentary

Fox82 Wed 03-Jul-13 22:17:32

Well done maybe! Hope you're resting and not too uncomfortable

Great news solars! So glad its been a good day for you both. DH seemed to think I was mad getting the free nappies blush. But thinking of telling my mum to get them for us as well, as she shops in sainsburys too. Not told her we're ttc yet though, but I'm sure she's guessed!

Withalittlesparkle Wed 03-Jul-13 22:26:21

Yay maybe I can't wait for tomorrow's update!!!

Thanks again you lovely lot.

I watched Luther with MrM before he went to work. I was well warned. I still jumped out of my skin. Thank goodness our bed is too low to fit a man under it!

I am feeling a bit yuk tonight. But I'm ok. I'm missing MrM. He is on nights so I'm alone sad

Loopyaboutmy2boys Wed 03-Jul-13 22:31:55

Just popping in to say congrats to Solars on your scan and to Maybe on getting this far. You have waited so long, and I am brooking no argument that lots of eggs fertilise/divide normally etc. If things go well how many are you hoping they will transfer? Will you freeze the rest? I only have limited knowledge re assisted conception, mostly from you guys on here! And hi there to demented. I think you are bonkers to be trying already but then again, you are younger than me so probably have more energy! My 22 months age gap between ds's was hard enough, couldn't imagine an even smaller gap!

Loopy! How are you? So nice to see you!

They will only put 1 back in due to my age and the fact it's our first cycle. If we face any more they will go in the freezer.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Thu 04-Jul-13 07:54:58

Morning,

Brooking for lots of juicy fertilised eggs this morning Maybe. Hope you were ok last night, perhaps you can have a little nap with MrM after you hear from the clinic. When I worked nights, if I was on at the weekend DH would always walk the dog then come back to bed for a few hours. How are you feeling? Are you anymore comfortable this morning?

I let DH do my injection last night as I could tell he wanted to weirdo he was quite good. I prepared it for him and talked him through it. I think he feels a bit more part of it now.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Thu 04-Jul-13 07:58:54

I meant to say we are only allowed one back as well but they did say if we had an egg that was initially developing well then slowing down then they might also put that back with a better grade one.

Ooh Cups well done letting Mr C have a go at the injection I would never let Mr B near me with a needle

Maybe brooking my socks off that there was an orgy in the petri dish overnight wink

Good morning everyone else smile sorry I haven't name checked, on my phone so I can't read back and my stupid baby brain doesn't remember anything grin

Boo you make me grin

Well done MrCups! mrMaybe didn't feel brave enough doing one. Though I know he would've if I hadn't been able to. MrM is in bed now. I think I will be napping later, I have been up since 4 as I was too uncomfortable and nervous to sleep.

I feel ok ish physically. Sore and bloated but I'll be ok. Apart from my boobs. They are so sore already. Also did my first fanny gunk last night grin

We've got 9 embies brookers!! On for a 5 day transfer at the moment, which puts us at Monday. will get a call tomorrow just to check on progress. Please brook for some lovely cell division. Your brooking has helped so much so far thanks

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Thu 04-Jul-13 09:28:45

excellent news maybe

Maybe that's brilliant!!! <strikes up the band and joins in with the divide you little embys dance> grin

Sorry for my absence, but don't think I haven't been brooking my arse off or you all! In fact, I've had to eat extra biscuits just to maintain arse-size as a result of all the brooking.

Now, Maybe - that is the awesomest of awesome news!!! I have been avidly following your progress. Hope you're not too sore today and are taking it easy. It's all one step at a time so just keep ticking the steps off.

Solars my lovely - super fabulous awesome news too from your scan. Tip top indeed!

Cups hope you're doing ok. Are you stimming now? I apologise that I've lost track!

Beedle hope the follow up appt on your cycle was helpful and that you and MrB are having a nice break.

<waves to everyone else>

Oh, and for all the newbies, just a wee introduction. I am an ancient brooker. I first joined the brooking thread 2 years ago now, and after having been TTC dc2 for 18 months, the power of brooking got me my BFP in my very first month of brooking. That's how good brooking is. So my BFP is now my 16mth DS2 but I have had such an enormous amount of support from the lovely brooking ladies that I still hang around. It is lovely to see some new faces around here though - you couldn't wish for a lovelier more supportive bunch of ladies than this lot.

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Munxx Thu 04-Jul-13 13:53:58

maybe I am hoping form some splendid mitosis action!

ThedementedPenguin Thu 04-Jul-13 16:42:20

Oh joining the dance of cell division.

Have you heard anything today Maybe?

You lot are the dogs dangles grin

Penguin I have 9 embryos! Am hoping by tomorrow thy are between 2-4 cells. Then hoping to have one put back on Monday!

BlindKitty Thu 04-Jul-13 19:55:56

Roll on ET!!!!

BeedlesPineNeedles Fri 05-Jul-13 07:25:23

maybe I'm brooking that your little embryoes have done well over night.

geek good luck for tomorrow. How's everything with MrGeek's job?

biscuits lovely to see you. We haven't had a follow-up meeting yet as everything is shut here for the holidays. Luckily my OTD was the last working day before the holidays so my next attempt is booked in. But I shall ring them at the beginning of August and see if I can get a follow up meeting organised. I do want to know what we/they can do differently so we get a better result next time. I'm going to stock up on vitamins and supplements for us both whilst we're in england so we'll both be rattling as we walk soon grin

Maybe brooking for 9 little embys smilesmile

Geek how did the competition go last night? Brooking fro tomorrow too smile

Morning everyone else.

Thanks Beedles and Boo. Ive made crumpets while we wait smile

When are you back in England Beedle?

Am also brooking for you geek. How'd your biscuit do?!

Brookers, you lot have super powers.

All 9 embies are going great guns! 7 are at 4 cell and 2 at 2 cell. 8 of them are top grade, with 1 slightly below. Booked in for 2.20 Monday for transfer grin

ThedementedPenguin Fri 05-Jul-13 09:13:38

That's fantastic news maybe I'm so glad to hear it.

Solars Fri 05-Jul-13 09:16:14

Octomum Maybe that is amazing news, you must be so excited!! I can't wait 'til Monday now!

Thanks Penguin smile

Solars I am a tad excited grin think I may try for a wakl today. My asthma had flared up with the stress, so I had apanic yesterday cos it hurts so much when I cough grin. Do you have any wise words for post transfer? How are you and sun beam?

Maybe that's brilliant!! Really brilliant smile

Thanks lovely Boo grin

Solars Fri 05-Jul-13 09:43:03

Post transfer I think I tried to carry on as normal (but i dont really lead a hectic life anyway) but I did try and rest up more especially the first few days, I made sure I used my relaxation CDs and visualise too. Sunbeam and I are doing ok I think smile

That's great Solars grin. When's your next scan? Any more lipids?

I plan on walking the pup loads and getting my bake on. MrM is going to be well fed! He has also come home this mornin with tickets to see elton John in Hyde park next week grin

BeedlesPineNeedles Fri 05-Jul-13 09:55:31

Wow that's excellent maybe
And its good to have other things to look forward to too. Outdoor concerts are fab. We saw Sting on wednesday night and it was still good even though it was raining

Ooh, I love a bit of sting Beedles!

BlindKitty Fri 05-Jul-13 09:59:53

Go maybes enbies! (In the style of the Ricky lake show). So excited for you xxx

Solars Fri 05-Jul-13 10:08:04

Maybe I have weekly scans so sometime next week is the next one, I've got to go in for a NK blood test on Monday so that will determine whether I need more lipids. The Elton John concert will be a great distraction!

Beedle must have been great to see Sting!

Thanks Kitty grin

Wow Solars! It just be lovely seeing him/her every week. And amazing how much they grow!! In excited about EJ! MrM got 4 tickets, so my mum and dad are coming too!!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Fri 05-Jul-13 10:19:03

Go Embies Go! Fab news Maybe a walk with otis sounds like a nice idea. What are going to bake? Are you trying anything new?

Solars hope you and little Sunbeam are well.

Beedle I'm totally jealous of sting! I love him (and Elton) Are you coming back to the UK for a visit then?

Geek good luck for tomorrow.

Thanks Cups how's the buserilin treating you? I'm not sure what I'm going to bake yet. I might start planning today. Def going to make some wraps for dinner tonight though.

Oh maybe, that is fandabbydozi! <possibly loses some of the younger brookers>

Enjoy your baking and make sure you relax.

Beedle, hope you're doing ok and looking forward to coming to England soon. Brooking your next attempt will be successful.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Fri 05-Jul-13 11:16:18

It's been ok so far Maybe I've had a few hot flushes and I've had really vivid dreams (not sure if that's a side effect or not). I'm just impatient, I keep thinking only 10 more days and I might start stimming smile

SweetieTime Fri 05-Jul-13 11:49:17

maybe fantastic news on the embies. Sounds like you have got a very strong lot there. I second try to chill famous last words during 2ww. Do you have a relaxation cd?

Cup get used to the vivid rude dreams as these will be continuing into your pregnancy

Glad you're doing ok Cups. Not long till stimming!! We're they good dreams wink

Thanks Gen! And I know what you mean grin

Thanks to you too Sweetie, no I don't have one. But I dreamt I have birth to a garage playlist, so maybe that's the way forward grin

BlindKitty Fri 05-Jul-13 12:46:45

The dreams sound ace wink. Someone's dh in an other forum recently had a minor op 'down there'. He said he had no idea just how many naughty dreams he had until now as keeps getting woken up in pain!

keepitgoing Fri 05-Jul-13 13:30:30

Well done maybe!! smile amazing news.

keepitgoing Fri 05-Jul-13 13:32:12

I have lots of naughty dreams these days. Dh sees it as a challenge to stop me having them... blush

Thanks Keep hope you're enjoying your dirty weekend away wink

BlindKitty Fri 05-Jul-13 14:49:47

I usually get a fair amount of boob squeezage and dry humping tbh!

grin Kitty is this when your DH had a dirty dream? Or just anytime grin

gringrin Kitty you won't get a BFP like that!!

GreenOlives Fri 05-Jul-13 18:39:50

Brilliant news maybe! grin grin grin

Thanks Olives grin

BlindKitty Fri 05-Jul-13 19:15:20

maybe I wish!!!

boo I'm so sneaky that during shag week I always wear an easy access nightie in the hope I'll get a bonus shag whilst he's asleep!!! When it's not shag week he generally gets a firm elbow in the ribs!!!! wink

Kitty you make me grin grin!!

Munxx Fri 05-Jul-13 20:09:47

Congrats maybe!

Thank you lovely Munx thanks

ThedementedPenguin Fri 05-Jul-13 20:38:14

Oh kitty that made me smile.

cups how far along are you?

BlindKitty Fri 05-Jul-13 20:48:47

smile

maybe how many embies will they implant on Monday?

Just the one Kitty. I'm too young to ave more than one on my first cycle. Though twins run in my family anyway so may still get 2 for the price of one grin.

Fox82 Fri 05-Jul-13 21:35:09

Great news maybe. Brooking for Monday! And yum - love a bit of baking smile DH arrived home with choc brownies yesterday that a lady at his work had made!

Haha kitty I'd forgotten all about Ricky Lake!! grin

That made me smile kitty smile

Hope everyone else has had a good week and enjoyed the sunshine today!

Thanks Fox! I love a brownie. They may have to be made next week!

Hey Geek I know you're lurking! Just want to wish you luck for you're appointment tomorrow. Brooking that they agree to all the testing you want!!

Cups where are you in you're treatment now?? Lost track blush

Maybe brooking for your embys, I assume they will freeze what they don't put back?

Hey Kitty and the newbies, what's news? How you all doing?

Also brooking Geek x

Yes Boo they'll stick them in Nigella's deep freeze grin

SweetieTime Sat 06-Jul-13 08:40:17

Good luck for today geek

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sat 06-Jul-13 09:08:50

Morning Brookers,

What a bloody gorgeous day, pity I'm working until 9pm today and tomorrow. I'm off Monday so I'm hoping its still nice then.

Boo and Penguin I'm in the down regulation stage at the minute. It last about two weeks and basically it's like tricking your body into thinking its in the menopause. I'm on day 6 today so nearly half way there! After the two weeks if my body is ready (they will know from doing blood tests) I start stimulation which means another injection to grow my follicles and get as many eggs as possible.

Symptom wise I'm really tired, irritable, struggling to concentrate, having hot flushes and have had a lot of dirty dreams shock

Maybe what where your symptoms again? DH thinks I'm just being neurotic!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sat 06-Jul-13 09:09:10

Good luck Geek xxxx

Solars Sat 06-Jul-13 09:28:08

Not long to go now Cups but boo to having to work today!

Maybe how are you feeling today?

grin Kitty

Good luck today Geek hope you get lots of information and a firm plan in place to move forward x

Penguin & Fox you must be entering sex week now?

Morning all!

Cups I'm sure you're not being neurotic I love how auto correct changed that to erotic I was incredible tired (still am) and felt really really nervous. My heart would race and I wouldn't be able to sit still. I also had very dry eyes and a crazy thirst. But I still have the thirst. What are your symptoms? Also, my clinic didn't bother doing a blood test after dr. They could just tell by my lining. As long as you have a period, you shoud be fine to start stimming.

And it sucks you are working sad. But Monday is meant to be gorgeous too grin

I'm ok thanks Solars. I'm still a bit sore, but ok. I'm just so tired though! And I feel a bit sick if I don't eat every few hours. how are you?

Looking forward to eating your plan of action Geek

Am I wrong to kill MrM? He has a bt if a cold and he won't shut up about it. I knw I've moaned to you lot, but I've hardly moaned to him at all, nd I want to smack him grin

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sat 06-Jul-13 11:14:20

Maybe I don't think any court would convict you as long as its a jury of women! I've actually been moaning to DH quite a bit, I'm trying to reign it in as I don't want to use up all my sympathy allowance before the 2ww smile

My main symptoms are hot flushes currently sweating in front of a fan in a t shirt and knickers, dirty dreams, being snappy, tiredness, struggling to concentrate and being a bit dry down below blush

I think that is all very normal Cups. I didn't really get snappy, but I could not tolerate noise. Very strange. As for the dryness, I didn't suffer, but just you wait till you start stimming. Without meaning to be crude who am I kidding it was literally pourin out of me blush.

MrM has been asleep for the last hour. He only got p 2 and a half hours ago!!

Fox82 Sat 06-Jul-13 12:08:37

Good luck geek

Horrible having to work at the weekend isn't it cups. I'm having to work tomorrow sad. But making the most of today. We're going to a local music festival with sil, fil and nieces which should be fun. Littlest niece is only 20 months. She's so grumpy and doesn't seem to like us, which makes us love her even more as she's so funny grin

On cd6 solars so AF should clear off completely today or tomorrow and dtd will commence! Bit of a question - I've bought some midstream opk's from amazon for this month just so I can check when abouts I ov and if its when I think it is. The only instructions are how to read the results, but just wondering do I do them just once a day or twice so I don't miss it? And any particular time of day? It'd be a bit awkward to do at work so would prefer to use them in the morning or evening if I can?

I think it's best to use them in the evening Fox. But I know they can also be very unreliable so don't be too disheartened of you don't get on with them. Boo to working tomorrow. Enjoy your festival smile

Fox82 Sat 06-Jul-13 13:41:30

Thanks maybe! I'm only going to try them this month and see what happens. I'm on cycle #8 so thought it was a good time to check when I ov as been jsing up until now smile

Solars Sat 06-Jul-13 14:03:51

Yes I'd agree with Maybe Fox that doing it in the evening would be your best bet if you can't do it during the afternoon. I used to do it with the second wee of the day, I think the first is not recommended. Have a lovely day at the festival.

Slap him Maybe then blame it on the hormones... grin

Cups you'll feel much better after you start stimming, I only got the dirty dreams until after transfer hmm

Not to put a spanner it he works but I really didn't feel better after stimming grin

I am making him iron instead Solars wink

Are your cycles regular Fox?

Yo, Geek put down the winewine come in from the sunshine and tell us about your appointment, pleeeeeeeeeease

ControlGeek Sat 06-Jul-13 20:21:21

Sorry boo I got a little bit freaked out at the idea of maybe wanting to eat my plan, so went into hiding grin

Sorry that the stimming didn't agree with you too well maybe, but brooking that all that is behind you now. I can't believe you haven't had daily updates on your embies! I have everything crossed and then some for Monday for you.

cups I hope the down regging isn't too bad for you, it won't be long before you're stimming.

beedle how are you doing? When are you coming to the uk? Could we coincide a brooking meet-up?

Sorry not to namecheck more, I've been keeping my distance from the fred to try and get a bit of sanity back so I'm not completely sure what everybody else is up to. Whatever stage you are at in your cycle though, I am brooking for you all.

MrG's work issues have gone as well as could be expected, we now have three months more of worry then hopefully it will all be over (as in he still has a job).

Saw the consultant this morning. He didn't like our plan sad He doesn't understand why I think my eggs are an issue (I did try to explain) and said if anything needed to be replaced it wasn't the eggs, it was the sperm. For some reason I am really quite gutted about that. Possibly because it really does draw a line under us never being able to get pg naturally. It's actually harder for me to get my head around than egg donation. MrG and I haven't really talked about it since the appointment.

The cons wants us to go ahead with our next NHS cycle with own eggs, own sperm, as we had planned. He was very negative about the immunes testing. He really doesn't believe in it. He also poo-pood the idea that testosterone replacement therapy might help MrG's swimmers.

At first he wasn't going to change anything about our protocol, because he said I'd responded pretty well. I think, in response to my concerns about egg quality, though, he had changed his mind by the end of the appointment. He now wants to down reg me for two months to try and dry up the endometriosis. He agrees my left ovary is effectively a write-off but thinks doing this will have a positive impact on my right ovary and decrease chances of a hostile environment in my womble. Stimming will then be as normal, but I will have an increased risk of OHSS due to my PCOS.

On the plus side, he doesn't want to remove my fibroid. I gave a silent cheer at that, I would have struggled to face going through full open surgery again. I did that 13 years ago and can still remember the weeks of pain that followed.

As MrG's work issues won't be fully resolved for three months, we've agreed between ourselves not to go ahead on my next cycle as that would mean we would be IVFing just at the most worrying time for MrG's job. So we are going to let the next cycle happen naturally, then start with the down regging.

Sorry, that was an awful lot of mememe. I'll maybe just get this cycle out of the way then hopefully be back in the land of brooking full time again.

Ooh sorry, I can't remember who asked - the biscuit came joint third out of about 15. I'm rather glad not to have won, the winner has to decorate a cake to enter into the county competition!

Wow Geek that all sounds so overwhelming. How are you feeling about things? Or hasn't it sunk in? Does your clinic not recommend a gap between cycles? I thought it was best to leave a few months so to get egg quality back up again. I hope you and MrG get to talk about the donor issue. It's tough though, I really feel for you there. But good news that things are moving along well with respect o MrG's work.

And well done on the biscuit!!

I've had 2 daily updates, but she said that she would've been surprised if anything very unusual happened over the weekend. That plus the weekends aren't core operating hours for the clinic wink

ControlGeek Sat 06-Jul-13 20:53:33

Overwhelming is definitely the word for it maybe. My cons was quite happy for me to start down regging at the beginning of my next cycle, so there would only have been a one cycle break but that may be because I will be down regging for the equivalent of two natural cycles so I won't be stimming until three months after my last IVF if that makes sense. I still feel like I have some coming-to-terms to do with regard to my last cycle so I am glad of the longer break.

Glad you were able to get a couple of updates on your embies, I'd have been going spare not knowing how things were going!

That makes total sense Geek. I think you should take all the time you need. There are just so many whats, ifs and buts aren't there. So many things to worry about. The whole thing is exhausting!!

As soon as you are ready though, we will all be here x

ThedementedPenguin Sat 06-Jul-13 22:33:42

Sorry I haven't been on much. I've been reading all posts as they come up but just wasn't in the mood for replying until now. To be honest I've forgotten most of the things I've read. I'm exhausted between the heat and my ds. Just wish he would sleep through.

It won't be long until Monday maybe

I have an app on my phone it's a AF tracker. It gives a rough idea of when your fertile and when AF is due. Not sure how accurate it is but it says ill be fertile from 13-18. I'm spending from 14-17th with my family in a caravan. Seems everything is against me this month. I shall still be trying to TTC. Iykwim.

Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying the weather.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sun 07-Jul-13 09:21:24

Geek wow that is so much to take in. Sorry to hear the consultant wasn't more supportive about the immunes and concerns over your eggs. I completely understand your concerns due to your history, but there is also the chance that your eggs are ok so fingers crossed he's right there. It seems like he is just focused on MrG at the minute. Do you think you might still go ahead with the immune testing? 2 months is such a long time to DR, at least you will feel like you are doing something in that two months. Have you and MrG talked about donor sperm yet? Reading your post this morning made me realise that we have discussed DE but not DS god knows why. Sending you and MrG lots of love and brooking.
Have you got anything nice coming up in the next month?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sun 07-Jul-13 09:22:43

Penguin hope you get some rest and manage to dtd in the caravan. It's rubbish when shag week coincides with family being around. Some stealth shagging is in order!

BlindKitty Sun 07-Jul-13 14:30:14

boo absolutely nothing in my baby making world! 'Still' waiting for iui that probably won't work!

geek I know we all mostly slag off our fc's but at the end of the day they do usually know best. Interesting that some testosterone might improve your dh's swimmers. Is it the actual count they're trying to improve?

cups sorry the down regging is rubbish. Remind me why you have to do that again? It that what they mean by long protocol?

maybe you excited for tomorrow? If not, I think I'm excited enough for you grin

penguin I'm imagining your mum walking in post colitis with your legs up against the wall!!! Haha

Oh and it's our wedding anniversary today! Although did only remember when dh's phone reminder went off (such a bad wife!)

Kitty have you not called the clinic to update you're records yet? You need to tell them you're a brooker now and this sort of shoddy service will not be tolerated by any of us!!

Penguin you must have stealth sex in the caravan, tis the rules! Where are you going <please say Cornwall> wink

Maybe brooking like bilio for et tomorrow smile and plenty of frosties too.

Right, back into the sunshine for me, hope you've all had a good weekend!

BlindKitty Sun 07-Jul-13 19:11:24

boo that has actually made me smile smile. Don't get too pink!

Feeling sorry for penguin's parents already ..'don't come a knocking when this caravans rocking' haha

ThedementedPenguin Sun 07-Jul-13 19:53:58

Boo I live in N.I. We are def not going to Cornwall.

To be honest, I'm used to stealth sex in a caravan with my Dps parents. However that was pre-DS. So I'm not really sure how its gonna work as I might have to have ds in with us. Think we might have to stay on for a few days just to make up for it. smile

Happy anniversary kitty

Cornwall is considered a rather fertile place so worth considering and I live here I have had 2 instadiffs making me the black sheep of the brookers and 3 brookers have had bfps and holidays down here.

Helsim Sun 07-Jul-13 21:22:53

Ok so I'm a newbie and have been checking mums net for various answers for a while through google so decided I would join! I have a burning question for u?! :-) So here goes ( might b a long one!) I had my Mirena coil removed mid April had my 1st bleed which was really really heavy and lasted 7 days around 6th June. I did at pregnancy test at the doctors on 5th June ( was poorly n prescribed anti biotics so they checked I wasn't pregnant before prescribing and wanted to check abdominal pain wasn't ectopic pregnancy!)
Since then I've had nausea ( no sickness) almost daily, I've been having period type pains ( but not as severe as previously) and now my feet and ankles are swollen. My period is due any time but no sign n don't feel like its coming either?! Im also eating like a horse!! Could I be in the very early stages of pregnancy?! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but all my symptoms seem to indicate I could be?! What do u think?! ;-) everyone says u just know when u r pregnant but being my 1st ever attempt at actually trying for a baby I'm not quite sure how I would know?! x

BlindKitty Sun 07-Jul-13 21:24:39

Bullets Damn, really need to stop going to Thailand then grin

penguin thanks grin

Wonder where maybe is tonight? Guessing she's getting things ready for her new embie to move in tomorrow?!?!

ThedementedPenguin Sun 07-Jul-13 21:38:46

Helsim only true way to know is to POAS. Good luck

So bullets when can we come to visit? You'll mind ds that's very nice of you grin

I feel like I need to force Dp into DtD although he is totally up for baby number 2. He is a strange creature. More interested in the Xbox tonight.

BlindKitty Sun 07-Jul-13 21:49:30

helsim have you not been tempted to poas yet?

Helsim Sun 07-Jul-13 22:32:40

Blindkitty I think it's too early n my period is due but being only the 2nd period I've had in 2 years (periods stopped when i had mirena) I'm not sure when it wud come? I think ill wait a couple of weeks and see if it arrives! I'm trying so hard not to get too excited if I'm honest and I'd rather be certain than get a negative result! Fingers crossed x

ThedementedPenguin Sun 07-Jul-13 22:51:28

Helsim I know what you mean. Although I haven't gone as long as you, I was only on pill from last October until June. However I only had one AF in December, a few irregular bleeding but not an AF. So I'm only guessing at when my AF is due. I'm trying to get Dp to DtD every other day/ every third day. Although I doubt it will happen, seem to be in a rut where we can't be bothered sad

In a way another pregnancy and baby will make us worse but I'm hoping once they a bit older we can get back on track smile get all baby stuff out of the way. Although I'm not sure it will get any easier.

Do you have an idea of how long you'll wait until you test helsim?

Helsim Sun 07-Jul-13 23:09:26

My AF took 6 weeks to arrive after Mirena was removed so I'm thinking ill give it 6 weeks n see if she arrives!! Lol fingers crossed my symptoms r for the reason I want not for anything else?! Thanks all for ur input ill keep u posted x

keepitgoing Mon 08-Jul-13 03:49:32

Wow geek that is a lot to take in. I think it makes sense to have a bit of a break between cycles - it is so all-consuming and especially with all the job worries as well. We are all here brooking for you.

penguin you will just have to be a stealth shagger. Maybe when the others have gone out for a bit. Or you go out and dtd al fresco!!

er kitty there's nowt wrong with Thailand thank you very much <sticks out ivf bump proudly>

helsim i don't think that's true at all that everyone knows when they're preggers. Think of all the ladies who go for a poo and out comes a full term baby!! I don't think it's too early for you to POAS, but understand not wanting to get a negative test.

maybe good luck for the ET today. I cried at mine and so did DH. I hope all the little embies have got on nicely, and there'll be a few for the freezer as well.

and cups - not long left till you start aproper. How are you doing?

BeedlesPineNeedles Mon 08-Jul-13 06:50:43

Good luck for today maybe I'm brooking there's a perfect little embryo waiting to be transferred. How's the crinone? Don't be surprised if they say they need to give you a little clean up inside before they do the transfer shock

geek that was a lot to take in. We haven't discussed donor anything yet. Am I right in thinking you didn't DR at all this time, I really hope you end up being as symptom-free during DRing as I was.

A brooking meet-up would be lovely, but I think you all live too far away from my parents house, and we'll only be there a week. Plus it would be rather hard to explain to Mrb as he still knows nothing about you all grin

penguin grin at the stealth caravan sex though I'm not sure how stealthy you can be in a caravan. I suggest sending the parents out for an afternoon walk with DS whilst you prepare dinner or something.

Brooking for you today, Maybe.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Mon 08-Jul-13 07:32:40

Brooking for Maybes transfer! You will soon be PUPO smile

musicalmrs Mon 08-Jul-13 08:06:45

Brooking lots for you Maybe!smile

Loopyaboutmy2boys Mon 08-Jul-13 08:22:43

Brooking like crazy for maybe, hope emby settles in nicely for the next 9 months!

ThedementedPenguin Mon 08-Jul-13 09:05:50

Brooking for you today maybe hope every thing goes great.

I feel I need to drip feed about the caravan. As far as I know my mum and her Dp, my auntie, one/two of my sisters, my little brother, my niece. Then Dp, Ds and I. So I'm not so sure what will happen.

Oh I love you lot sooooo much grin

Thank you so much for all your support. Transfer is at 2.20. I felt sick with worry all last night, so only had a few hours sleep. Clinic haven't called to say we don't have any embies left, so I'm taking that as a good sign grin

I'm so worried about it not sticking now. It hasn't really crossed my mind until now, I'd been so focused on the sperm! I'm hoping the paranoia will de down, I sound neurotic grin

I will do a proper name check later, honest m

Beedle, I haven't had much fall out fro the crinoe, a few lumps here and tree <Vom> but my god my boobs are beyond sore shock

Maybe brooking like a crazy brooker for you today. Good luck lovely.

Thanks so much lovely Boo x

Munxx Mon 08-Jul-13 09:46:04

Good luck today maybe xxx

Thank you so much Munx xxx

GreenOlives Mon 08-Jul-13 09:50:10

Good luck for later maybe Brook, brook, brooking!! grin

Thanks so much Olives x

Super brooking for Maybe today! I feel nervous about it so goodness knows how you must be feeling! Rest assured that we have totally got you covered on the brooking front so you try to take things easy and get some rest.

There are so many hurdles to get over, so it makes sense that you'd be nervous about it sticking now, but you are ticking them off one by one. Look how far you've come!

Remember, if you feel like your hands are hot, it's not because its 30 degrees outside, it's because you've got about 30 brookers holding your hands simultaneously

I'll be thinking of you all afternoon now, best of luck lovely Maybe xxxxxxx

Oh Biscuits you have made me cry. You are the best xxx

DinoSnores Mon 08-Jul-13 10:38:08

Not just me then whose first thought this morning was, "Today's the day for maybe!" Praying hard for you.

SweetieTime Mon 08-Jul-13 10:38:52

Maybe good luck for later today. I am Brooking for you too.

Biscuits you really are lovely, you brought a little tear to my eye too.

Thanks Sweetie

Dino, that means so much, thank you x

keepitgoing Mon 08-Jul-13 10:59:44

Well, you won't all fit in one caravan, will you.....? Volunteer to go in your own one. But DS would live to be with his cousin!!! smile

keepitgoing Mon 08-Jul-13 11:03:17

Oops that post was meant to post hours ago...

maybe, biscuits is right about all the hurdles. You've done it perfectly just thinking one step ahead. Next one is sticking, and we are all brooking like mad. I am also brooking for frosties for some siblings though smile

Thanks so much Keep. I feel like this is the biti have the least control over iykwim?

keepitgoing Mon 08-Jul-13 11:26:32

You couldn't control how many eggs you grew, or if the sperm defrosted well either.. I did find it hard having known how things were progressing, then after ET you are just waiting waiting waiting. But nothing you do will make it fail or work. It's luck. And brooking. smile

TheLittleFriend Mon 08-Jul-13 12:02:41

Brooking super hard for you today maybe. You are doing so well my love xx
