But! we want to try again asap after my body sorts itself out so hoping that will be March!

Hi choc Im on cd8, due to my stupid short AF we have already dtd twice, I'm thinking eod till ov week then everyday for 5 days during ov week and then back to eod.....god it sounds knackering!
We are both on a cocktail of vits, I changed my prenatal to one with D3, an im taking extra b6, vit c, vit e an zinc, the OH is taking vits for the first time, hes on prenatals too, plus extra zinc and vit c for super healthy swimmers. FX!

choc we are gonna try that this month too. tried last month then fell asleep before oh got home on the 3dpo so mucked that up! using cbfm to track ov this month and a shed load of preseed. might even bath in it(make sure its in all my nooks and crannies!!

choco i got it off the preseed website think it was about £20 and you only get 9 applicators i have read of people boiling them and re-using them. otherwise its £20 for 9 bds which is really quite expensive. if it works ill pay anything tho lol

choc dont get me started lol, my vits are more for my peice of mind than because they do anything. I found out that when on ivf they recommend women take vit d3 to help implantation so I though ohh I'll have me some of that. Extra b6 is to hopefully stop my post ov spotting, vit c and zinc are meant to be good for fertility in general and help make strog swimmers in our OHs vit e is to help make a nice lining for my little egg to live. See I'm a loser.

Yes dh is away from 3 days pre-ov to 2 dpo. It sucks. And don't think cycle after that's gonne be much better. So likely april bus cycle 8 for me! Hence I feel bit like a hitch hiker!
Might go on ebay tonight and get a cbfm and find lube.

pixie lol no carrot sticks for me! I'm not a healthy eating freak honest! I eat no fruit at all & not a lot of veg either. Am eating normal food, just less of it & cut right down on the chocolate. Its working so far. Keep at it & sure u will reach your goal.
I've ordered some concieve plus & more ov sticks from amazon this morning. Trouble is think they gonna be a week to get here & I'm due to ov thurs/fri next week, oops. Ah well u never know, OH gonna kill me, we not meant to be spending out on anything this month as got debts to pay! X

I'm joining in as well as just need someone to talk to - it's so hard not being able to talk about this!!. My story so far is ttc Nov 12. Got preggers. Had early m/c (chem preg). Now on cycle 4. I'm currently waiting for AF to start. I crumbled and took two tests a few days ago and BFNs on both and I don't feel preg and have crampy period pains at the mo so trying to look forward to next round. Ding ding. I am trying not to get despondent as I know I can conceive and haven't been trying that long, but oh my! it's a rollercoaster isn't it? I've been broody for about 3 yrs and so now I find it excruciating seeing babies or hearing about people who have got preg (particularly "accidents" rah!!) and the monthly cycle of feeling low and miserable when the witch arrive,s then just hurrying it up until ovu, then shagging for Britain he he, then obsessively symptom spotting, then thinking ooh I am, ooh I'm not, then the witch arrives. etc etc. Anyway laides lots of good lucks for us all round for this month xxxx

Well my pill withdraw af has just begun, one step closer now. Me and my OH has decided to have a bit of a pre-ttc mini party (for the two of us) I've got in booze, Brie and cured meat. Had looked for shark but didn't seem to have anything in tescos. I gave the liver a miss. Just having a strong cup of tea now. I definitely know how to live!

Period due around 21st feb although only had one true period since coming off the pill mid december so WHO KNOWS when my period will actually come - although I'm hoping, of course, I will be be regular and back to "Normal".

Although obviously my biggest hope is that my period doesnt come at all and that I'm pregnant! Gonna keep trying and see what happens...

By the way... Im 26 years old, no children so this is my first time of trying Only really just started trying to conceive after coming off the pill in december, having a pill period/withdrawal bleed and then first true period from 25th-29th jan. So... Lets go!

Been doubled over in pain most of the weekend. Patiently waiting for my doctors appointment and hoping I'll get a cancellation before then.

Oh been talking about maybe calming down on the ttc front Nd concentrating on getting married this winter or next year.
He's words were.... Your going to be having tests and hopefully quite soon a laposcraphy, until we know what the deal is why don't we concentrate on something fun and exciting and if it happens Inthe mean time great.

I'm only 26 but can't help but panic at the thought of perhaps waiting another year to ttc. If I do infact have endo isn't the sooner the better? Who the hell knows ay! All I no is im in so much pain today I do not want any willy near me lol!

met up with some of my folks for a pre-birthday gathering. thankfully my sil couldnt make it as she wasnt feeling too well. she's 5 yrs younger than me, is now 19 wks with quite a big bump already and got upduffed on honeymoon and i'm so envious that i'd just rather not see her. that's terrible isn't it??? i'm such a bad person.

Hello ladies, was watching feb tempted to jump on and then AF arrived. This month I am jumping on board fully prepared with conception plus, ovulation sticks, cheap pg tests and a determination to dtd plenty. Really hope to get a result. Have been trying for a while then found out 3 months ago have post partum underactive thyroid which stopped me ovulating so hope with my meds I am now doing so... Fingers crossed for all of us. So TTC 2, AF is a bit unpredictable at mo but believe due Mar 5th.

Thank god af rocked up last week, pate/soft cheese/whole bottle of red got consumed last night.............. tasted divine

Deliasmithy, my theory is that because when you're young, all you're taught is that pregnancy can strike at any moment if you have sex, as if it's inevitable. Of course, that really isn't the case, but it stays with you. So when it doesn't happen straight away, it knocks you sideways.

Glad your ov sticks got there in time choc. Hope mine get here soon. I feel so surrounded by babies at mo. Everybody I know (well feels like it) is pg or just had a baby. I am so blessed to already have my DD but even she constantly asks me (at 3) when I am going to have a baby in my tummy like her friends mummies aaaah. I think it's my thyroid condition that is making me so paro it won't work out, there is an increased risk of miscarriage even if I get pg. think I need to just get a grip and be positive, this is my/ our month. Can I ask what the best position for conception is, is it missionary sorry if this is so daft but I have read a few diff things, god I sound childish.

Pops78, what thyroid condition do you have? I have an underctive thyroid. As for positions, I don't think there's one best position other than the one you like best. However, I would have thought that deeper penetration is better for getting the swimmers closer to their goal, so perhaps doggy? I'm happy to be corrected.

I read somewhere once that the more water you drink the more cm you get. Iv been trying to drink 2 ltrs a day maybe that's why I could start a shop with mine, worth a try.

Well I got a positive opk yesterday and have what I think are OV pains this morning, we've dtd eod this month, then everyday since sunday, gonna stay with everyday till Friday.....FX!
I got a positive opk last month but had no ov pains so I dont think I ovd, it would explain why I had such an odd cycle with lots of clots and spotting....random though as I got positive opks 2 days running!

Thanks for the advice ladies, I am a big water drinkere anyway but will try drink more. Good news is I got my conceive plus thru in post 2day, 1st time I've used anything like this. Not due to dtd 2nite though unless I get a + opk 2day.
cleo your ov pains won't be same every month, its v unlikely u didn't ovulate as u had a + opk & you got your af about 2 wEeks later. Am not an expert though so ?? I reeaaaaly wanna get a + opk 2day x

But of a tmi question here whilst we r discussing cm! Started using the cbfm been high for about a week but no peak yet, iv had 2 days of what I think is ewcm (oh worked away ) today iv had more sticky but still feeling watery(like I'm wetting myself lol) could I have missed ovulation? I don't normally ov for a couple more days yet.
This process makes me feel more and more thick lol

been test crazy today driving myself mad... sticky cm, OPK neg, HCG neg, FSH neg... wud that mean im definately post-ov? or just hormoneless lol x

Hello all, just fallen off the back of the Feb bus so marking my spot. This cycle was 38 days, so no idea when bfp due, hoping I ovulate this month as didn't last. Apparently ovulating helps the baby making process, but my body decided not to play .

Anyway, large bottle of wine, blue cheese and rare steak planned for this weekend, to console myself!

did an opk today and its negative so its def 12-24 hours from yesterday at noon, weve dtd every night since sun and will carry on till friday just incase but I guess I'm into the waiting game......im so impatient! honey i think ewcm is prior to ov so maybe you are oving late? or maybe you missed your surge?

i havent had much ewcm really, mostly watery...
maybe missed my surge, as aint FSH normally high in the follicular phase...

Have been so busy, this is my first af since having my copper coil removed and what a weird one its been, only one day bleeding and that wasnt even enough for a tampon and the rest has been pretty much pinky cm. Sorry for TMI, just wondering if anyone had anything similar after having the coil removed. Think it has stopped now so let the shagging commence! Hope it happens soon as my coil has to go back in April if it hasn't i am getting married april next year and don't want to be pregnant of still flabby lol x

Id say your bang on time to start dtd! My last two cycles have been 35 days and iv got positive opks on cd19 and 20 so I'd say your doing it around the right time! Obviously we are all different!
Do u get any ovulation signs? Cm or pains or anything that might help u pin point your fertile days! Good luck anyway!

Thanks setay. Hope so have been DTD ever since in hope not too late. Well after reading up on posts on here I now think I might have that stretchy EWCM today so will def continue DTD incase. Sometimes get a bit of pain around ov but right now think I may be over analysing every little body movement and only a few days into this. Glad to see not only one with longer cycles!

Im so irrational, we didnt dtd last night after having crap 'we have to dtd as its ov week' sex the night before but dtd this morning instead, now I keep thinking 'what if I OVd yesterday and we dtd too late' geez it was only 7 hours later......I am so sad!!!!

Hi all - I am new to this thread but have been on a couple of the others on the Conception board.

I keep getting -ve OPK results - tested on Monday (CD8), Tuesday (CD9) and today (CD11). My cycle is only 24 days (give or take a day either side) so I would have thought I should be getting +ve results now, shouldn't I?

Am using Boots OPKs and am getting a line, but it's not darker than the control line. I also used these when I conceived DD and seem to remember being utterly confused by them then too!!

lis you normal ov 14 days prior to AF so I would expect you to OV around cd11, if you can go either way then you may ov today or tomorrow.

The surge can be short lived too, when are you testing? Is it the same time each day? My positives are very obvious, I use the asda ones £7 for 7 I think. I have tried testing at different times but find the best results from my second wee of the day, usually around 11/12ish. Do you normally have any ewcm to help you pinpoint ov? Perhaps you are going to ov late this month? Has anything happened which might delay it? Stress? New supplements? Anything can have an effect I think.

Re the line you should always have a faint test line but a positive should be noticably darker, the same colour as or darker than the control line.I would just keep testing. Sorry I can't be more help.

Thanks cleo - I think I had ewcm yesterday - can't remember if that is supposed to indicate ovulation is coming, is happening or has happened? (I feel very un-clued up on these threads!).

CD11 is today, so will DTD tonight, tomorrow and the weekend. Have also DTD on Monday and Tuesday this week so I may still have some stuff still knocking around up there!

Think I have generally been using OPKs on my 2nd wee of the day, around 11ish as you suggested.

No additional stress that I can think of beyond the usual, other than my new obsession with TTC and religiously reading anything I can about baby making / ovulation!

Have felt a bit bloated for the past couple of days and a few stomach pains, but I think that might have been food related rather than anything to do with ovulation.

lisba - I think it's quite easy to miss the LH surge - I tend to use opks around 5pm - I think the LH builds up during the day and I find that time works best for me for getting an obvious positive

Have just realised there's every possibility my bfp is due beginning of march so am going to straddle this bus and the feb bus.

Also using Boots ovulation strips and not getting a positive. Now on day 13 of 26 day cycle and tested on the 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 day of cycle. Always get a line in the control window but nothing in the test window.

If I don't get BFP this month will invest in the smiley face ones next month.

Nothing detected as yet. I also check the sticks myself and concur with the machine. On mine, when you get the 2nd line, it'd be hard to miss, though it's not as bright as first line.

The last 3 cycles began to peak for me cd17 onward so not panicking yet.

Weng out for v-day meal with hubby last night and we are both v excited about TTC and having a baby so that's good.

Having only come off the pill recently I'm a bit out of touch with my cycle and not sure where I am. We dtd when I THINK I was ovulating. AF due in a weeks time.

I'm in 2 frames of mind right now

1) hoping AF doesn't come, take a test... BFP!

2) AF comes+goes so we can crack on with DTD as much as poss next month!!!

Am probably being over-sensitive with symptom spotting, and not sure if these are signs of ovulation or (very) early PG anyway:
Stonking headache lasting all day (although has gone this evening)
Sore boobs
Bloated tummy - like bad trapped wind (sorry!).
Any ideas? Am I just over analysing?
Haven't managed to DTD as much as hoped this week - DD joined us in bed last night which prevented any early morning action (usually our most successful time of day!). Fingers crossed we can make up for it tonight/this weekend. Am on CD12 and half way through cycle so am hoping I'm still in with a chance?

Hello well I got a bfp.....and then another chem preg. Feeling pretty crappy if I'm honest. Going to go see my gp to see if there is anything wrong. Has anyone else had thus? Thus is the second time it's happened. I tested again thur as still no period (though not sure when due) and bfp 1-2 weeks. Then got AF early thus morning. Going to come off march bus think just need to see whats going on good luck to you all xx

sorelip yep, only since ttc. It's happened over last couple mths and now he thinks it's a problem it's worse as he's thinking and worrying about it. Writing this from a hotel room - had booked a romantic night and dinner at hotel with OH but so far complete disaster!
I forgot half of my belongings, OH started an argument during the main course, OH then over-ate and so immediately fell asleep back in the room leaving me to watch movie on my own. He is now snoring away, having killed the evening.

Pixie - is it possible you could keep him out of things, like not mention you're testing, ovulation etc... Obviously still monitor yourself and when the time's right seduce him. Maybe he won't realise at first, probably will after the 3rd consecutive day but by then you'll have lots of swimmers.
Going a bit deeper now - what if you just gave him a BJ or HJ sometimes and at his point of no return - jump on him to collect the goods? maybe it would help take the performance pressure off. I know it's far from romantic but sometimes needs must!

Delia - Oh no! sorry your night didn't go as planned and your OH killed the evening - make him pay for it today and tell him you need a double dose, he should have enough energy after being a little piggy to complete his punishment

We've been rubbish this month, had 2 days off during ov week....doubt that bodes well! The extra vit b6 is defo helping this month though, I feel so calm and have a much better attitude a very much what will be will be type feeling, I think my chances this month are slim which sucks as Ive put in the time with all the vits both me and the OH have been taking, but we were crap as the sex part, never gonna make a baby without sex lol.

So Dp and I are attempting to follow Dr Shettles advice to conceive a boy (dp really) and one of his pieces of advice is for the woman to orgasm after the sperm is deposited ( this alone won't give you all a boy)
Anyway, I tried this on our last go of the month and lay still afterwards for around 1 hour and.....something strange, it does seem to suck up ALL of the sperm Usually after DTD as soon as I stand then 'it's' running down my legs (told you tmi!) and feels like more has ran out than actually what went in. It's been 2/3 days since we last dtd and only NOW!!! is it beginning to come back out.
Possibly I have a cervix of steel and once I've sucked it up there it's held hostage but I doubt it- it's worth a try don't you think?

don ive noticed the same sort of thing, when we dtd before bed and then I lay with my legs in the air for 30 mins before going straight to sleep I dont have any leakage overnight or in the morning. The morning quickies which I prefer have far more leakage as I cant lay down for more than about 10-15 mins afterwards. Lets hope those extra swimmers help get the bfp

Due to my previous history in TTC, my GP has booked me for a scan to check my tubes as well as an internal examination. Has anyone had the internal examination? What are they looking for and is it uncomfortable. In addition I'm also having day 21 blood tests. I'm feeling positive this month!

London - a transvaginal scan doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable and they do that to check your uterus for things that you may not be able to see with an abdominal scan. Hth

can finally feel like I am ttc - we dtd for the first time this weekend since my MC - it was lovely to dtd for no other reason then to do it! I believe I may have ovulated Weds/Thurs of last week so am hoping for a period to start next week then its OPKs time and fx. My DH bless him was a bit anxious but I felt it was important that when we start dtd again it wasnt stressful and about trying to get pg again. - as you might imagine we are both trying not to worry about if I will struggle to conceive again or if I do conceive having another MC.

I know its abit mental but I'd like to have a baby in 2013 and March is my last chance or definitely be pregnant bythe time of my original due date (8 Sept) - but frankly I'd take any time now.

I should have mentioned previously that I TTC #2 2 years ago for 10 cycles and miscarried at 9 weeks but knew things weren't quite right at 6 weeks. And I'm also rapidly approaching my 40th birthday and so pleased that my GP is being proactive and addressing my concerns.

ive had a transvaginal scan before when i was 5 weeks preg with dd. felt really uncomfortable, like have a huge plastic dildo push in there i was more embarrassed than hurt lol i felt pressure down there as it scanned against my cervix. it sounds worse than it is good luck x

Don't worry London it's done quite quickly there's a little jiggling it around as it's pointed left and right to view your tubes and ovaries but nothing too bad. During the last one I had my Gynae could even see that I'd recently ov'd and from which side, which I was pleased to know as I was there for a MOT of sorts before starting TTC.

Pixie on one brand of OPK's I had it says I could test between 10am - 22.00 but I try to do it usually between 3-5pm so have never tested that late myself.
Another brand said until 20.00 so unsure

Usually, under normal, non-ttc circumstances I don't like it being deposited inside me - it makes me itch, uncomfortable etc....
Now obviously ttc we've sent what feels like bucket loads in there with the main objective being to keep it in.
Since yesterday I'm feeling very bloated in my womb area, more on one side and like a cramping feeling but not as bad as ov/af.
Usually after ov I'm fine and have no symptoms of af until maybe 1/2 days before she arrives (I've still got around 9 days to go) - so the spermies are getting the blame

Popping in to say hello! I'm on nightshifts today and tomorrow so in bed watching tv at the moment and will try and get some more sleep this afternoon before starting work at 7pm.

AF due on Thursday (ish). Not quite sure where my cycles are after coming off the pill so chances are it won't be Thursday but we'll see.

So tempted to test today... Have had lots of symptoms for the last week or so but I'm trying to resist until I'm late at least!

AF due around Thursday so planning to test next Thursday if AF hasn't come by then.

Really want a baby in 2013 so I guess match is our last chance!!!!!

I'm hoping probably against hope that I'll fall this first cycle - due to the fact I DON'T want to be heavily pregnant in the winter It's horrendous here where I live and kicks in properly in Jan/Feb time so if I could choose - I'd like to give birth nov/early dec - probs won't work that way though What will be, will be!

I'm 4/5 dpo and refuse to symptom spot- I don't temp so don't have that distraction. I am having a few unusual signs (as mentioned above but the spermies could be the little culprit's) and the other's could just as easy be related to post-ov/ pre-af but this month I'm more aware/sensitive to them.

Padster I'm impressed giving blood. I can't do it myself. I hate needles and thinking of giving away my blood makes be feel faint. OH keeps reminding me there is needles involved with pregnancy. Isn't he a dear!

I'm in my first month and I imagine this is the funnist week of the process. We have DTD more this week than probably the last couple of months. OH doesn't know what hit him. I'm a bit worried cos I've got my day21 test on Friday (which is cd24) as I have ovulated around the cd19 for past couple of months. But this month I had what felt like ovulation pain last fri and loads of cm on sat fat good that was as I was away visiting a friend so I'm not sure how accurate it'll be now. We dtd thurs and sun so have prob completely missed ovulation this month I think my body might hate me!

I had mine done on CD19 which was around 5 days after ov and my result was good enough even though when done correctly it should be 7dpo.
If you think your ov was last fri -15/2/13? and you're getting tested 22/2 then that's good - it's perfect timing.

DTD thurs = alive spermies already waiting for your egg
DTD Sun = Egg possibly (hopefully) still alive depending at what time on friday it popped out.
Don't count yourself out yet, fingers crossed x
I'm ttc - cycle 1 too and not expecting it to work 1st try neither - currently dpo 5/6 and feeling hopeful.

Thanks dondon. I'm not feeling hopeful as each month is a disappointment for me. This months a bit different in that if I come on then I have the day 1-4 blood test so at least something's going to be happening even if its not pregnancy.

I thought I wrote a follow up to my hotel saga but can't see it. So, this is where I'm at:
OH continued to be an idiot next morning but managed to resolve and dtd Sunday and Monday.
As I forgot sticks at weekend I'm missing info on Sunday, but Monday and today were high. Evening off to recharge tonight and I'm still at work. Fingers crossed I get a peak tomorrow but might have missed it. Two darts on the dart board isn't that great. Five and I'd be happy.

How early have you ladies had symptoms??

According to my days app I should have ovulated on 13th Feb although boots opk never showed a positive result. AF /BFP due 28th Feb or 1st March.

This evening I can not stop running to the loo so either I have a UTI (although no pain or burning) or very early symptoms?!?! My previous 2 pregnancies (mc x2) had this symptom 2 days before AF due along with hyper sensitive sense of smell..

Is this too early to have symptoms???

Dreams I have no idea how early you can get symptoms but I've imagined every symptom going ttc number 2 and yet had no symptoms at all with ds apart from missed period and then the sickness hit at 6 and a half weeks. Some people do get them early don't they.

Pixie I know, I find it a bit redic at how long some couples have to wait before being sent for the even the most basic of investigations.
I was also getting a bit about my age as I reach the dreaded oh my god you want a baby now grand old age of 35 this year and wanted to make sure I was fit enough inside and out (hence the gynae appt and trans vag scans)
So because I have a dp who is studying advanced biology at the mo - along with all the health and hormone tests I had done. his paranoia ensured I also now know that I'm still immune to rubella, not immune to toxoplasmosis nor do I currently have it and have no immunity to any hepatitis virus
I noticed here in Poland, while there are young mums, there's a higher percentage of first time mums around my age and many above and the Dr's in general are totally not concerned about the age thing, not at my age anyway.

I have sneaky peaks at the babies clothes while shopping but tbh Dp is the worst culprit - only last night he stopped to check out a car seat in our local supermarket, he always notices whenever pampers/huggies are on on special offer too. I've managed to reign in my symptom curiosity for now although I nearly succumbed to losing the plot yesterday - I've got a few PT's in the cupboard and I found myself checking the sensitivity on them Had a quick look to see when it's possible to pick up a BFP, then decided to leave it.
Today - I don't know where the tests are as I forced dp to hide them from me. I only have 4/5 days until af due, and even though patience is not one of my strongest points, I can wait I can! no really, I can!

On the subject of baby gear, last months boots magazine had a short feature in TTC which was talking about the benefits of keeping a positive frame of mind. It suggested kitting out a nursery as a strong positive image! I don't know about anyone else, but my poor DH would think I'd finally lost the plot if I suggested turning the spare room into a nursery to help us conceive!

A heartbeat listening thingy I personally could think of nothing worse -imo it's a recipe to drive you insane/cause huge panic/ un necessary stress.
Babies heart rates sound crazy they can go up and down by a huge difference, which is all perfectly normal to an expert. I always ask in hospital when strapped to the monitor that they turn the sound off - midwife can monitor it without making me nervous.

Give it time - modern technology will advance enough soon that we'll be able to send mini spy-cams in there strapped to the back of a sperm, to capture all from conception to birth. Okay! so maybe that's a bit far fetched but it sounds good

that actually sounds like a good idea lets get inventing haha

I'm really not sure Honey, my cycles are between 33-37 days, so AF due somewhere between tues and thurs next week. I've been having some prickly cramps yesterday and today too, which could easily be AF gearing up.

know how that feels, im coming to the end of a 52 day cycle- screws dates up- id at least hold off til monday says me whos been testing daily for a week

honey from my research attempted cheating yesterday I found out that even a faint line is a BFP - are you going to do another tomorrow to rule out evap or even re test today if you kept your pee?

honey your faint bfp makes me so tempted to test but I was scared it's too early! According to the list we're due at the same (28Feb/1Mar) and I keep convincing myself I have symptoms - sore boobs for the last week or so (am sure that's earlier than my usual PMT symptoms), plus had a strange compulsion for Branston Pickle which I never normally eat! Am sure even if I was pg then this is way too early for cravings so it's prob all my head!

I have a leftover PG test (boots own) from a couple of yrs ago (a bfn followed swiftly by AF so I never used the second test in the pack). It says it expired in 2012 so I don't know whether it would even be worth using - was thinking of waiting until Wed/Thu of next week?

certainly looked like it.. its hardto explain cos my cycle was all over the place.. i bled all through jan,ff said i ov'd 9th which makes af due tomorrow or day after
but i worked it out to be28th/1st march, ive been testing daily with internet cheapies and til today theyve all been neg,

tested this morning got what i thought was an evap line so i binned it. few hours later i retested and there was a very faint (but definately there) line with a hint of pink.

so maybe, mayb not. im going to retest in the next few days with a frer test and let all know what happens. trying not to get excited.

I'm ok, did a test this evening as I got impatient, but got a bfn got really sad until I realised i'm only 9dpo so it may just be too early? Af/bfp not due until the 1st so im going to try to hold off till at least the 28th.

Ive had no post ov spotting at all, which as you know is unusual for me as I have a spotting issue, so even if I dont get my bfp I keep telling myself I should be pleased that Ive solved that problem. I just hope its my month.

cleo ur just too early hun & u did test not using fmu. Maybe try again mon if u can't wait any longer than that?

Yeah I didnt actually realise I was only 9dpo, someone with the same dates as me got a bfp so I got all carried away, should have known better! I'm going to wait it out now I think as I am so sick of getting bfn's or at least wait till the 28th

Hi ladies... Well... As I thought I have fallen off the feb bus with a bang!
AF came in full force over night... I am experiencing the worst period pains ever right now! Taking ibuprofen as I write this!

Anyway... Sad I'm not pregnant but also really happy AF came. This is now my second true period since coming off the pill in December and I seem to be regular and AF came exactly as I calculated. So.. That's good and definitely gives me high hopes for March!
I've got more of an idea when I will be ovulating etc so... I'm on it!

So now I'm in cycle 2 if someone could update the list? I'm on my iPhone... Sorry! Xox

Also attacking me is a stonking bloody cold sore right below my lip twat I'm trying to kill it with T tree as I've got no zovirax in the house- I haven't had one for ages and forgot how annoying this tingling is

so take heart those who have tested with one and got bfn... two days ago at 12dpo there wasnt a scrap of a line.. it could be you next

its one of my very good friends baby shower next week , she ttc for 6 years with her ex , she has psos and tried clomid for months , she gave up ttc and one night had unprotected sex with her new partner and bam TWINS !! so if i do get a bfp next week i'll have to keep it a secret haha

Had ewcm today so managed to dtd. Funny thing, I got confused and nearly missed shagging week by confusing cycle days with days of the month, i.e. thought shagging needed to start on CD 18 instead of 18th Feb. Thankfully we'd been dtd anyway!

ive told my sis to up her dose of aspirin, her clotting problem is so bad. she cut her leg accidently the other day and it clotted immediately hardly bled at all shes been on 75mg daily i told her to try 150mg daily see if that helps. feel so guilty shes ever so desperate for a baby has been ttc for years

Gosh sorry for silence from here as you have all been chatting and I have been watching. I have been DTD and my DD's 3rd birthday party (not together) Including Princess Castle cake made by me which i was rather proud of ;-) Now all over I have to get on here and ask you ladies if I am going crazy or may be experiencing ridiculously early symptoms, convincing myself I have just got a urine infection from DTD sorry for TMI. I am only just starting 2 WW but have had diarrhoea last 2 days and now thats gone all day (during party!!) strong cramps like my period not due till 5th at least! Also sore boobs and really gone off alcohol and food. Am I insane or is there any chance these are symptoms of pg???

pops sore boobs was my very first symptom. it just started off as the odd twinge/tingle. now it burrrnsss also i was waking up at 3am to pee. and i kept dreaming about baby stuff. had a vivid dream that my sis (the one whos struggling) was preg, and i had a go at her for talking about babies so much

Lol honey. Am I right in thinking you mentioned thyroid issues, is it underactive because I am on thyroxine and when I started that made my boobs so sore so also thought that could be reason. Bad acid indigestion this morning hope all these symptoms aren't psychosomatic because I want a baby so bad. No dreams yet though x

oh poo i meant im at risk of them and they are notoriously running in my family.. my aunt has overactive (she eats tons but is skeletal) and my mum and sister have underactive with clotting probs. my sis is on aspirin and thyroxin. she has conceived a few times but miscarried each time cos of sticky blood.
i got abit worried cos my cycles were irregular and ive really slapped weight on so ive been taking kelp extract daily and baby aspirin cos kelp is meant to help regulate thyroid hormones. tho im not sure if its safe to take with thyroxin or not x x

I think I'm ovulating (yay). So basically half way through my first cycle. This has to be the longest month ( plus all this DTD is exhausting). FX it works first go cos I'm tired already.

I was thinking the same thing about Katie Price but then read an interview where she was saying how scared she is about the pregnancy as she has miscarried before. Then I felt really shite for thinking such horrid things about her! She does appear to do very daft things, but then the papers love to make her seem even more daft don't they. I am glad no one goes through my bins then writes articles about it! I would have been sectioned by now!

Well I am thinking about putting a really large deposit down on a wedding dress, so hopefully that means that I will immediately get pg and not have a hope in hell of getting in to it come December!

Sorry for tmi but i checked my cervix his morning and it was solid, like a rock, never felt it like that before.
But then this arvo I had a streak of red, not like spotting like a streak of red skin.....very odd.

I hope its a good sign but I am beyond getting my hopes up.....I just get upset when I dare to believe. I really wanted to be pregnant by the time I turn 30 which is in 20 days so this is my last chance to achieve that aim.

cleo that does sound strange..it's crap not being able to identify what causes these kinda things but not having spotting has got to be a good thing for you. cant advise at all on cervix...i'm afraid i simply dont know what i'm doing on that front...!

Me! AF due between tues and thurs, but might try poas tomorrow. The last couple of months I haven't and have just waited for AF to show up, but I'm feeling impatient this month! I'm on day 33, and last months AF turned up on day 33, so who knows!

Very excited by all the BFPs that are appearing on this thread! AF is due on Thurs/Fri for me so I am going to test on Thurs morning if AF hasn't arrived early.
Felt like I had loads of symptoms over the weekend, with a real pulling sensation in my boobs - like when bf'ing, and also felt totally queasy when cooking chicken casserole yesterday - I added some bacon in and the smell literally made me heave; had to pick all bacon pieces out of my portion.
Have also been VERY weepy and moody with DH, but tbh they are definitely my usual symptoms of AF's arrival. I suppose it could also be because he was being a particular idiot this weekend!!
Worried I am feeling crampy today though, but am deciding to go with the idea of bedding in pains - thanks honey!
Think mother nature is so cruel for making AF symptoms so similar to early pg!

don dont panic, I've felt on and off all weekend like I'm either going to get AF or get (sorry for tmi) diarrhea but instead I got a bfp. Everything crossed for you.

As I said though it won't seem real for me until I miss my AF.

spanishlady i used first response after internet cheapies gave what looked like an evap line and it gave me a more definate line..
they are usually spaced apart but not too much, and the lines themselves tend to be thin ones x

if its within the specified testing time then it would be a genuine line... wait a few days n test again c if it gets darker hun.. fx x

thanks Honey, I am of course going to have to leave it (to the weekend if I can) - im convinced Im imagining it but if you are suppose to see no other lines at all even faintly (very faintly) then I dont know what to think as its there.

my best guess is that I may have ovulated 15 Feb (based on lots of ewcm the two days - 13th/14th -before but negative opks for those days) - I didnt bother testing that day as thought I'd probably already ovulated and so told my DH not to worry about a condom when we dtd on 16 Feb. So assuming my back of an envelope/based on thin air calcs are right I am 10dpo today

this would be pretty cruel if a mistake or my eyes are going wonky as it was suppose to be my 12 week scan today.

I don't remember/don't know as I didn't actually ttc with my 3dc what the early symptoms are
I have read some cramping is quite common though. I'm not sure if it's because I'm actively looking for symptoms but this month from ov I've felt different to how I usually do - boobs have stayed sore, feeling bloated deep down in my pelvis, I've had a dodgy tummy for the last 4/5 days, today I'm physically feeling a pressure on my bladder to pee more - I kid you not from my 2 morning coffee's this morning I went to the loo like 7/8 times in a few hours.

On the plus side I've also had some positive things too - absolutely no moodiness (although please do read further down...I'm sure it's manifesting itself as sarcasm this month ) and no craving sweet stuff.

<SIGHSSSSSS! just hurry up and put me out of my misery>
Of course most of it could just be nothing and completely related to AF

I think God should have made us completely differently and not make ov and pg symptoms similar to AF
Eg - when we ov he could have programmed us to turn green, maybe not our whole bodies as we'd look stupid but our nipples would be a good place??

My AF finished yesterday so dtd today to kick start things. I ov 4 days early last time so not taking any chances we might miss out this month ESP as we don't have the winter vomiting bug yay!

argh men! So we both look at the test this morning, I say that im worried its not much darker, my OH says 'well just wait an see if you come on' then when I looked hurt he said, what do you want me to do give you an ultrasound. So unhelpful!!!!! He did say he thinks this one is darker than yesterday though, although he may just be more awake!

Cleo A line is a line so try not to worry (easier said than done) but my guess it is your bean getting sticky and implanting..

cleo try not to worry hun, easy for me to say I know! The line will take a while to get darker as u still so early. So mant people have implantation bleeding or spotting. Just keep testing every morning to reassure yourself its still ok xx
ela thurs will be cd28 for me. I usually have a 28 day cycle but this month I ovulated 2 days later than usual. Thurs I will be 11dpo. Go on test thurs! I got loads of ic's so makes it easier. I'm just really worried this month as have tried sooo hard! Dtd a billion times, used conceive + for the first time! Surely its my month!!!

I'm on cycle 6, AF due a week ago but no sign of her yet. I have some good symptoms, swollen & sensitive nipples (TMI sorry!) and had very very intense stabby pains in lower abdomen 1 week after ovulation but still getting BFNs. Doc said to hold off testing again until Friday and if no sign of AF or a BFP by then to make an appointment. Fx I get a BFP by then!

Ill take up the offer of a biscuit stairs. Biscuits surely must help my 2ww wait go faster. If my cycle is normal (just come off pill) my BFP could come on Mother's Day. Surely that must mean something? Trying hard to not get my hopes up very very unsuccessfully as this is the first cycle.

Hey everyone. I'm on this bus now as started spotting which means af will be here in a day or so if its anything like last month. Day 1-4 test is booked for Friday which should work out ok. Am also gonna ask doc to check me out for endometriosis as the pains I get throughout my. Cycle can't be normal? I only worry about it as years ago I had a laparoscopy sp? The doc said they found a small amount of endometriosis but too small to be significant but something to be aware of for the future. Anyway

dreams ttc is an absolute emotional rollercoaster, it's why it's so exhausting that and all the dtd. Don't give up just yet but if af arrives, allow yourself some time to be upset, drink and feel free to come on here to rant and moan as worst thing is bottling it up.

Hi all - think I am out for this cycle. Just went to the loo and AF appears to be on her way, although I am clearly hoping that what I saw is implantation spotting!
If no more appears today I will test tomorrow but I don't fancy my chances.
I have short cycles of c.23-24 days (which scares me a bit after reading that that makes implantation more tricky) so if AF does come tomorrow, I would next be due on 23 or 24Mar so I will still stay on this bus if that's OK!

aw cleo hunni massive fx for u.... are you testing daily? thats what i did and one day the line was loads lighter.. i thought it was another early mc , but it turns out that hcg is secreted in pulses and fluctuates on a daily basis hence why my line was lighter. its gradually getting darker albeit slowly..

So far so good, <whispers - I'm still in up to now> I may poas in the morning as I'll be cd28 which is late for me.
Anyway what I wanted to say earlier was-
I know I'm a bad girl but I can never find the strength/commitment/willpower to quit smoking until I know I'm pregnant then I just stop cold turkey but this time I had previously managed to cut down massively, thinking it'll be a bit easier to stop when I get a BFP..........
So in the very early hours of this morning, something woke me up.... I sat bolt upright and told myself I won't be smoking in the morning and promptly went back to sleep.
So jump to getty up time and I immediately go to the kitchen, find my patches and stick one on my arm, I never even looked at the cigs on the table, not once ......... I'm something like 19-20 hrs without one now and you know what? apart from the habit side/hands I'm finding it surprisingly easy I doubt I'll feel like this tomorrow

im not 100% , thats according to clearblue... says 'the level of hCG fluctuates as it rises and it is therefore possible that the conception indicator will give unexpected results if you test on consecutive days. test again in 5 days..'
considering cb use levels of hcg to calculation conception i assume it applies..

think also depends on the type of test your using.. the internet cheapies gave much fainter lines than cb or fr.

u know what you said about fmu? ive been the same. i seem to get darker lines early afternoon than i do with fmu maybe its the morning coffee going all diuretic on me and concentrating the hormone... hhmmm... <types into google>...

I'm ok, felt a few twinges and my favourite red thai curry smelt weird and different last night so I 'think' I'm starting to grasp the idea that I'm upduffed. Ive relaxed a lot too, what will be will be.

motherofcleo that's a good sign. I couldn't stomach chicken last time in my first and second trimester. And chicken is my normal meat. They just tasted off.

one strange you say that, I left most of the chicken as it tasted odd, my OH tried it an said it was fine though. I think it's too early for anything like that really but it was a bit odd thats for sure.
