setayharas Wed 30-Jan-13 18:13:07

So after ungracefully falling off the back of the February bus iv hijacked another decorated it with fairy lights and stocked it full of cream soda and oreo biscuits.

Here hoping march brings some much needed sunshine and all the bfps!!

Setayharas ttc1 cycle4 bfp due at some point

setayharas Tue 05-Feb-13 19:21:29

Shamelessly bumping lol! Don't wanna be alone in march!

SpanishLady Wed 06-Feb-13 11:13:50

I will (optimistically) join!

I had a MC at the weekend so had to leave the Jan(EDD September) bus.

But! we want to try again asap after my body sorts itself out so hoping that will be March!

I have a 2 year old son (conceived in March) so hoping for similar good luck!

setayharas Wed 06-Feb-13 11:59:23

Hey spanishlady so sorry to hear about your mc!
Can understand the wanting to get at it again! Hope march is your month!

Fingers crossed for you!

I'm pretty calm at the moment but I'm sure the symptom spotting monster will return soon!

crazyhead Wed 06-Feb-13 12:02:11

I'll be starting to TTC in March, so I'll join! I'm 36 now and have the fear it will be difficult.

padster75 Wed 06-Feb-13 15:29:08

setay I've just been unceremonialy dumped off the Feb bus by af arriving 2 days early, giving me cramps to die for and a feeling that I might vom everywhere.

So for the record:
Padster75 TTC #2 Cycle 5 BFP 7th March

SpanishLady Wed 06-Feb-13 15:43:49

thanks - I am really hopeful it will all end up alright.

As I havent had a period yet to determine where I am in my cycle my stats are for the moment:

SpanishLady TTC #2 Cycle 1 BFP (no idea yet!)

setayharas Wed 06-Feb-13 15:57:07

setayharas Thu 07-Feb-13 07:12:36

I sure do hope this bus is luckier( I'm not paying for my fare unless Im leaving with a bfp)
Feb being a silly short month has meant iv completely missed that month, in rules of fairness I think I should get a double chance in march!

chocoloulou33 Thu 07-Feb-13 07:43:09

Yes setay you should! Cd 7 here, af gone wooo! We r planning on doing SMEP this month, eek that's a lot of shagging wink

MotherOfCleo Thu 07-Feb-13 08:40:14

Hi ladies, Im stealing a seat on feb and march as AF is due 28 feb/1March.
Hi choc Im on cd8, due to my stupid short AF we have already dtd twice, I'm thinking eod till ov week then everyday for 5 days during ov week and then back to eod.....god it sounds knackering!
We are both on a cocktail of vits, I changed my prenatal to one with D3, an im taking extra b6, vit c, vit e an zinc, the OH is taking vits for the first time, hes on prenatals too, plus extra zinc and vit c for super healthy swimmers. FX!

MotherOfCleo, 29, TTC#1, cycle 5, AF/BFP due 28 Feb/1 March

Hello all, this is my first post. We are ttc starting this month for the first time which is scary and very exciting. Please can I join the bus although bit optimistic to think it could happen that quick.

oops science sorry posted that list before i saw your post. feel free to add youself to the list smile

chocoloulou33 Thu 07-Feb-13 11:32:26

Lol setay am thinking of getting some preseed too. Where's cheapest u can get it? I'm only gonna use cheap opk's but they've always been ok for me before. Gonna take A LOT of effort to bd that much but gonna try my best. Rly difficult when OH works nights x
cleo glad ur here smile what vits do what? Maybe I should get me some of them too lol. OH gonna have a fit lol x

choco i got it off the preseed website think it was about £20 and you only get 9 applicators i have read of people boiling them and re-using them. otherwise its £20 for 9 bds which is really quite expensive. if it works ill pay anything tho lol

theboob Thu 07-Feb-13 13:40:09

loves raaaggghhhh to the evil witch. Can't believe she got you too. Let's hope this march bus is lucky lucky lucky smile
Ps just dtd a day early, meant to be doing smep but that doesn't start til cd8. Wooops I'm gonna get this all wrong haha x

March - start of spring, mating season! Lets shag like rabbits and get these BFP's grin

I have 2 bottles of wine a share bag of doritos and I am going to sit at the back and cause mischief wink

bebebuttons2 Thu 07-Feb-13 17:50:32

Lovesthechaos3 -March - start of spring, mating season! Lets shag like rabbits and get these BFP's. Haha that cracked me up, hopefully you're right.

My bfp is due 3rd of march, hoping march is the month for me!!

setayharas Thu 07-Feb-13 17:59:58

Haha aslong as u don't throw Doritos at the back of my head, I have so much dry shampoo in my hair I'll never get them out!

I wouldn't worry aslong as u dtd a lot before ov and 3 days after nonstop if say ur still doing the smep

As soon as oh is back from snowboarding ( hopefully testicles intact) ill be trying the smep aswell

Normally I don't want it more than once a week of oh is lucky. This is hard work haha

PistachioTruffle Thu 07-Feb-13 18:12:00

Hello, can I join too? BFP due 1st march according to my app which takes an average, but a couple of days before if going by last month (stupid irregular cycles!)

PistachioTruffle TTC#1 cycle 6 bfp due March 1ts

MotherOfCleo Thu 07-Feb-13 19:34:39

setay love the comment about all your nooks and crannies wink

choc dont get me started lol, my vits are more for my peice of mind than because they do anything. I found out that when on ivf they recommend women take vit d3 to help implantation so I though ohh I'll have me some of that. Extra b6 is to hopefully stop my post ov spotting, vit c and zinc are meant to be good for fertility in general and help make strog swimmers in our OHs wink vit e is to help make a nice lining for my little egg to live. See I'm a loser.

Went to my MILs graduation today and sat behind a woman with a gorgeous gorgeous little girl, about 2 months old, god it made me broody!

Pixie001 Thu 07-Feb-13 19:45:48

Hello you crazy folks!!

loves sorry to she got ya too. It's so gutting huh?

I have to admit I'm a hitch-hiker on this bus as dh is away with work this next cycle and next. Very poorly planned trips. naughty pixie will join loves at back of bus and watch the action if that's ok? Mind if I dip into the doritos?
my stats anyway...
Pixie001 cycle 6 bfp (given this is a magical mystical bus after all!) due 4th

honey86 Thu 07-Feb-13 19:56:59

can i jump on? i dont think ill have a feb bfp somehow, too early on x

honey86 Thu 07-Feb-13 19:58:20

oh this is my first month ttc#4, according to ff i shud be die af on 28th feb/1st march x

honey86 Thu 07-Feb-13 20:00:14

omg motherofcleo your due same days... only my cycle has been stupidly long.. had af all the way thru jan thanks to cerazette x

Pixie I have just got more doritos and my neighbour brought me round 2 bottles of wine so we have plenty to keep us going grin
Seriously though I am getting shitfaced tipsy tomorrow night!

<waves at honey> lovely to see someone else ttc#4 smile

theboob Thu 07-Feb-13 20:36:43

loves once you have 3 dc the jump to 4 is a breeze ! just hoping it's the same to 5 lol
well as i have no idea of my cycle i'm just going to get on with it ......but not tonight as dh has pissed me off haha !

I have wanted #4 for so so long. had 3 under 4 at home not they are all at school so perfect time. I am sure #5 will be as easy at 4 smile

Boo to your dh pissing you off lol

setayharas Thu 07-Feb-13 20:51:29

Just purchased some conceive plus, hoping it's help get me through all the action I shall be gettin this month.

Getting a bit annoyed now that oh is away and I'm not due to ovulate for well over a week! Want to get baby making now I need some control over this situation lol

barebranches Thu 07-Feb-13 21:25:49

i fell off the feb bus today so im climbing onto the march bus!

Bfp due march 8th grin

barebranches Thu 07-Feb-13 21:28:32

opps forgot ttc number 1 cycle 2 grin

I have never experienced period pains like this sad it has reduced me to tears The AF witch has so much to answer for! GRRRRRR

Pixie001 Thu 07-Feb-13 23:06:16

bare sorry af shoved you off the last bus, she's so rude.I'm also ttc#1 and getting crazily impatient
Is preseed the same as conceiveplus? I'm little confused. Might get one of them. Sustained shagging seems to need some assistance in old age!
cleo that's a hell of a lot of pills!!
setay today was a dry shampoo day for me too!
choc was it weigh in tonight?
<Waves at all passengers and gets loves to refill wine again> Good luck everyone with your shagathons!!

chocoloulou33 Thu 07-Feb-13 23:50:21

Hi bare & other new people! <waves>
cleo may start me & OH on vit c & zinc, worth a shot!
loves hope ur ok hun, I get bad af pains some months, horrible sad hope they go away very soon x
setay how long your OH away for?
pixie is your OH away too or am I getting muddled? Am thinking of getting pre-seed or conceive plus too bu don't know which ones better? Yes it was weigh in 2nite & lost 3lbs smile so that's 11 lbs in 3 weeks yey. OH lost 21 lbs in 3 weeks so its all good & we getting healthy & having something to focus on. Just realised pixie we both in our 6th cycle, surely this is the month!!! X

Pixie001 Fri 08-Feb-13 07:50:31

Well done choc! 11lbs in 3wks is great work! I set myself a target of half a stone by end feb but I've not really shifted much - 2.5lbs so far.
Yes dh is away from 3 days pre-ov to 2 dpo. It sucks. And don't think cycle after that's gonne be much better. So likely april bus cycle 8 for me! Hence I feel bit like a hitch hiker!
Might go on ebay tonight and get a cbfm and find lube.

deliasmithy Fri 08-Feb-13 08:50:24

Hi,
After a week's break from Feb bus I'm back and ready to embrace a March Bfp.

No idea what cycle, but:
Deliasmithy TTC 1 bfp due 4th March

Pixie001 Fri 08-Feb-13 09:39:23

Hi delia! Fancy a breakfast mini muffin and [tea]? I call the muffins 'breakfast' ones just to justify eating them at this time of day...
choc here's a carrot stick for you...
cleo have started taking b6 as heard it help regulates hormones and my cycles have been bit wierd/short over last few mths so hoping it'll help

chocoloulou33 Fri 08-Feb-13 10:34:05

Hi delia glad to have you onboard!
pixie lol no carrot sticks for me! I'm not a healthy eating freak honest! I eat no fruit at all & not a lot of veg either. Am eating normal food, just less of it & cut right down on the chocolate. Its working so far. Keep at it & sure u will reach your goal.
I've ordered some concieve plus & more ov sticks from amazon this morning. Trouble is think they gonna be a week to get here & I'm due to ov thurs/fri next week, oops. Ah well u never know, OH gonna kill me, we not meant to be spending out on anything this month as got debts to pay! X

honey86 Fri 08-Feb-13 10:48:23

hiyaa waves back smile

me too, hoping that #4 will slip in nicely, as i have a nicely synced routine in place atm... all 3 DCs go full time in sept so i would have plenty of dyingofmorningsickness/babybondingtime...

atm im still waiting to see what my bodys going to do since coming off cerazette.... no +opk no bfp no af no ewcm, just limbo atm hmm x

Pixie001 Fri 08-Feb-13 11:17:02

honey I recovered quite quickly from cerazette so hope you're the same!

TTC is making me lose my marbles....I left the house wearing dh's coat this morning. It's huuuge on me but I only realised when I went to get in the car and couldnt find my hands under the sleeves. Unfortunately he was with me and will never let me live this down.

MotherOfCleo Fri 08-Feb-13 11:21:12

hum, so tomorrow is the start of shag week, im quite chilled at the mo give it a few days and I'll be mental again we dtd this morning but I was running late and couldnt lay on my back like a good girl, by the time I got to work many swimmers had lost the fight with gravity.....doh.

setayharas Fri 08-Feb-13 11:49:05

Oh is bck tomorrow, got my first high fertility today on Cbfm so will start te shaggin Sunday.

In agony today with low pelvic cramps! All being written on cycle Callander so doctor has to take me seriously when I see him next week. If he even tries to tell me my pains are menstral related I may just kill him! So could well be imprisoned soon lol

padster75 Fri 08-Feb-13 16:09:38

setay I'll either come & bail you out or be joining you as last months ov pain had me doubled up (says something as I have an unbelievably high pain threshold)

katerinaemalina Fri 08-Feb-13 16:22:41

I'm joining in as well as just need someone to talk to - it's so hard not being able to talk about this!!. My story so far is ttc Nov 12. Got preggers. Had early m/c (chem preg). Now on cycle 4. I'm currently waiting for AF to start. I crumbled and took two tests a few days ago and BFNs on both and I don't feel preg and have crampy period pains at the mo so trying to look forward to next round. Ding ding. I am trying not to get despondent as I know I can conceive and haven't been trying that long, but oh my! it's a rollercoaster isn't it? I've been broody for about 3 yrs and so now I find it excruciating seeing babies or hearing about people who have got preg (particularly "accidents" rah!!) and the monthly cycle of feeling low and miserable when the witch arrive,s then just hurrying it up until ovu, then shagging for Britain he he, then obsessively symptom spotting, then thinking ooh I am, ooh I'm not, then the witch arrives. etc etc. Anyway laides lots of good lucks for us all round for this month xxxx

setayharas Fri 08-Feb-13 16:47:44

hahaha katerinaemalina you post made me dizzy haha but i did chuckle i feel exactly the same rushing every month. it hit me today that every year i only get 12 cycles to concieve...12 thats not alot now is it?

oh padster whats wrong with doctors why dont they just listen??

SpanishLady Sat 09-Feb-13 10:42:47

Hi Katerina!

good news got a bfn this morning ( had MC last week at 8 weeks) so hopeful I'll get a chance to start ttc this month - waiting for period hurry up!

padster75 Sat 09-Feb-13 16:16:19

setay they don't teach them empathy I'm afraid

theboob Sat 09-Feb-13 16:31:11

well a close friend at uni has just announced her pregnancy !! soooo happy i won't be the only one with a bump at graduation ........so long as it happens quick

Well my pill withdraw af has just begun, one step closer now. Me and my OH has decided to have a bit of a pre-ttc mini party (for the two of us) I've got in booze, Brie and cured meat. Had looked for shark but didn't seem to have anything in tescos. I gave the liver a miss. Just having a strong cup of tea now. I definitely know how to live!

gillian1986 Sun 10-Feb-13 16:09:44

Think I will jump onboard!
Period due around 21st feb although only had one true period since coming off the pill mid december so WHO KNOWS when my period will actually come - although I'm hoping, of course, I will be be regular and back to "Normal".

Although obviously my biggest hope is that my period doesnt come at all and that I'm pregnant! Gonna keep trying and see what happens...

gillian1986 Sun 10-Feb-13 16:12:38

By the way... Im 26 years old, no children so this is my first time of trying smile Only really just started trying to conceive after coming off the pill in december, having a pill period/withdrawal bleed and then first true period from 25th-29th jan. So... Lets go!

setayharas Sun 10-Feb-13 19:31:41

Hey everyone,
Well oh is bk from he's holiday and we should b shaggin like rabbits!
Been doubled over in pain most of the weekend. Patiently waiting for my doctors appointment and hoping I'll get a cancellation before then.

Oh been talking about maybe calming down on the ttc front Nd concentrating on getting married this winter or next year.
He's words were.... Your going to be having tests and hopefully quite soon a laposcraphy, until we know what the deal is why don't we concentrate on something fun and exciting and if it happens Inthe mean time great.

I'm only 26 but can't help but panic at the thought of perhaps waiting another year to ttc. If I do infact have endo isn't the sooner the better? Who the hell knows ay! All I no is im in so much pain today I do not want any willy near me lol!

Pixie001 Sun 10-Feb-13 20:32:01

oh setay sounds like your dr's appt cant come soon enuf! sounds sensible approach from your oh but easier said than done
sciencegeek am very amused at your pre-ttc party! i'd have included pate myself but i know it's not everyone's taste..!
met up with some of my folks for a pre-birthday gathering. thankfully my sil couldnt make it as she wasnt feeling too well. she's 5 yrs younger than me, is now 19 wks with quite a big bump already and got upduffed on honeymoon and i'm so envious that i'd just rather not see her. that's terrible isn't it??? i'm such a bad person.
hi gillian here's hopin no af for you!
oh, and if anyone's updating the list then i'm TTC#1

Dreamstoreality Sun 10-Feb-13 22:30:35

Can I jump on board too?? Also riding the Feb bus as BFP due 28th Feb / 1st March. I'm 35, DH 29 TTC#1 cycle 1. (Had 2 mc, one at 8 weeks and the last at 11 weeks).

honey86 Sun 10-Feb-13 22:54:18

chocoloulou33 Sun 10-Feb-13 23:46:52

Hi everyone on bus hope uve all been shagging lots had a lovely weekend smile
The smep isn't exactly going to plan lol, we r just doing it as much as possible instead! Just wish OH wasn't working nights all week sad no romantic valentines night for us! Will have to find the time somehow!
setay hope your pains are better in morning, when u got docs? X
dreams welcome hun, rly hope u get your bfp soon & its a sticky one. I also had 2 mc's before I had my dd. She is now 5. So there is hope. I never thought it would happen but it did & it rly helps u to forget all the bad stuff. I had one at 8 weeks & one at 13wks. I fell pregnant real quick back then but getting older now lol & this time seems to be taking a while! X

Pops78 Mon 11-Feb-13 01:38:18

Hello ladies, was watching feb tempted to jump on and then AF arrived. This month I am jumping on board fully prepared with conception plus, ovulation sticks, cheap pg tests and a determination to dtd plenty. Really hope to get a result. Have been trying for a while then found out 3 months ago have post partum underactive thyroid which stopped me ovulating so hope with my meds I am now doing so... Fingers crossed for all of us. So TTC 2, AF is a bit unpredictable at mo but believe due Mar 5th.

padster75 Mon 11-Feb-13 06:59:35

Thank god af rocked up last week, pate/soft cheese/whole bottle of red got consumed last night.............. tasted divine

AF still here so not yet ready for the fun bit ........ due to ov on my wedding anniversary grin

katerinaemalina Mon 11-Feb-13 09:12:30

AF still not arrived..... It's agony!! Will keep u posted. Am too scared to poas. My cycles are not regular plus with mc a bit unsure when I'm due exactly so if I'm still waiting this fri I will test. I'm ttc #1 will update u when poss due date will be when blasted af arrives! confused

chocoloulou33 Mon 11-Feb-13 09:24:04

Morning ladies. Diet not going well last few days & just had a twix for breakfast so I need to get back on track.
pops I'm ttc #2 too. Month 6 for me. Ordered concieve plus & ov sticks but don't think they gonna get here in time, am due to ov this week!
pads sounds lovely!! I think I'm due to ov on valentines day but oh working nights. Typical hey.
Keep us updated kat fingers crossed for a bfp x

honey86 Mon 11-Feb-13 10:31:01

choco, me too... a stuffed crust pizza led me astray yesterday... trying to be good... but there pancake mix in the cupboard calling me lol

hope u ladies are well, poa ov stick and got a darker line this mirning but still not as dark as the control line so im keeping an eye on it... on cd39 atm shock

honey86 Mon 11-Feb-13 11:16:54

retested, got another neg... booo... was looking forward to booty calling dphmm

SpanishLady Mon 11-Feb-13 12:16:52

FX for you Katerina - meant to say I was sorry you are struggling to not feel despondent - no real pearls of wisdom for you other then I have found planning non-baby related things gives me something else to think about so I have found that useful.

Pixie - I dont think you are a bad person! seems normal to me

chocoloulou33 Mon 11-Feb-13 12:55:06

my ov sticks have just arrived in the post wooop! Is it sad I'm excited lol. No concieve plus yet though. Gonna poas in a bit oh the excitement haha x

Sorelip Mon 11-Feb-13 13:21:32

I'm jumping on the March bus. We'll be TTC#2, and I'm on CD 4. I will be POAS around 13th March. Sorry if my posts are a bit short, I find it hard to type properly on an iPad. I spilled wine on my laptop and killed it sad

Today will also be the day I start trying to take on good habits, like drinking 2 litres of water a day and quitting alcohol (that one isn't just because of TTCing, but also because I need to lose some pork).

honey86 Mon 11-Feb-13 17:52:45

@ sorelip same as, good girl! ive recently quit smoking 40 days so far x

Sorelip Mon 11-Feb-13 18:57:20

Nice one honey86! How are you finding it? I don't smoke, so I can't imagine what it must be like trying to stop. DH managed to stop though, using champix. I'm still so proud of him.

I've nearly managed my 2 litres, and bought some Seven Seas conception vitamins on offer in Superdrug. I'm ready and raring to go! Just need af to sod off.

honey86 Mon 11-Feb-13 20:02:33

ahh im still in limbo, waiting for af/ bfp/ ov... kinda frustrating hmm

thanks, well done to ur dp smile ive been on the patches and quickmist... had a relapse at xmas... its so easy to give in... but if i get a bfp i wont even think about it x

deliasmithy Mon 11-Feb-13 20:03:53

I've just eaten a mars bar for dinner!
I'm just holding on to the fact that yesterday was worse.

Hubby bless him has seen his GP as I started freaking out during my AF that its never gonna happen etc. he's now equipped with a pot! Why does 6 months trying feel like a year??

Hmmm mars bars...

Deliasmithy, my theory is that because when you're young, all you're taught is that pregnancy can strike at any moment if you have sex, as if it's inevitable. Of course, that really isn't the case, but it stays with you. So when it doesn't happen straight away, it knocks you sideways.

chocoloulou33 Mon 11-Feb-13 22:43:39

Well got a -ve on opk 2day. Been on mil's treadmill 2day though so feel a bit better about the amount of chocolates and pancakes I've eaten this week wink

Pops78 Mon 11-Feb-13 23:27:54

Glad your ov sticks got there in time choc. Hope mine get here soon. I feel so surrounded by babies at mo. Everybody I know (well feels like it) is pg or just had a baby. I am so blessed to already have my DD but even she constantly asks me (at 3) when I am going to have a baby in my tummy like her friends mummies aaaah. I think it's my thyroid condition that is making me so paro it won't work out, there is an increased risk of miscarriage even if I get pg. think I need to just get a grip and be positive, this is my/ our month. Can I ask what the best position for conception is, is it missionary sorry if this is so daft but I have read a few diff things, god I sound childish.

I'm a phd student and signed up for a statistics course (why oh why??). It's so horribly complicated that I keep finding myself zoning out and fantising about being pregnant or what my baby might l

Ok stopping now you get idea. Sorry for all this silly posting. Stupid phone

Sorelip Tue 12-Feb-13 13:31:37

Pops78, what thyroid condition do you have? I have an underctive thyroid. As for positions, I don't think there's one best position other than the one you like best. However, I would have thought that deeper penetration is better for getting the swimmers closer to their goal, so perhaps doggy? I'm happy to be corrected.

Ds decided that 6am was a good time to wake up today. Urgh.

Sorelip Tue 12-Feb-13 13:34:15

Lol ScienceGeekGirl I know what you mean, I'm doing an OU degree in business and accounting, and I find one of the books so boring, I end up fantasising about having a little girl, and how Ds and imagined Dd would play together. Of course I'd be just as happy with a boy.

theboob Tue 12-Feb-13 14:46:09

I am also at the end of my nursing degree and finding it hard to consentrate !
I should be finishing an essay now and also have a dissertation to write ........instead i'm trying to convince dh i NEED obv sticks

theboob Tue 12-Feb-13 14:47:02

*ov sticks

setayharas Tue 12-Feb-13 18:08:00

Didn't get a doc appointment this week, gotta wait another week!

Gonna try and take the laid back approach until at least I no what's
Going on around there!
Of corse still using the cbfm without ohs knowledge

Got a nice bucket load of ewcm today so know my bodies doing something right so shall have a halfassed attempt of bd the rest of this week legs in the air and preseed of course I can't completely be laid back

How's everyone been?

chocoloulou33 Tue 12-Feb-13 21:52:44

pops I have heard missionary is best position.
setay I am good how ru? Another -ve ov test 2day but dtd anyway! Every other day so far this week smile I do worry I don't ever get ewcm! I don't rly get any cm. Should I be worried about this? I remember when ttc dd I did. Maybe that's why I'm not concieveing? Any ideas ladies? X

honey86 Tue 12-Feb-13 22:08:17

missionary and puttin legs in the air after... worked like a charm with my last 3 lol

-opk tday, but ff chart says im 3 dpo. am skeptical tho x

chocoloulou33 Tue 12-Feb-13 22:22:56

honey its hard to know what to trust isn't it. That's why we're dtd every other day just incase! What cd u on? I'm cd12 x

PistachioTruffle Tue 12-Feb-13 23:14:09

chocoloulou I haven't noticed any ewcm either and worry about it too. Cycle day 21 of a 33-36 day cycle, and no positive opk yet either. I wish I knew what was going on!

setayharas Tue 12-Feb-13 23:48:30

I read somewhere once that the more water you drink the more cm you get. Iv been trying to drink 2 ltrs a day maybe that's why I could start a shop with mine, worth a try.

honey86 Wed 13-Feb-13 07:49:10

im in cd41 now... i know its my first cycle but im abit anxious, my sister has 3 kids n cant get pg cos of sticky blood.. but theres also thyroid problems running in my family n im worried im going to inherit it.

i really hope they cn keep their bfn dna to themselves.. horrible aint i sad

MotherOfCleo Wed 13-Feb-13 09:08:49

choc Ive not been overun with ewcm either, had some the day before yesterday but I think when I use conceive plus it dries up my own cm sad
Well I got a positive opk yesterday and have what I think are OV pains this morning, we've dtd eod this month, then everyday since sunday, gonna stay with everyday till Friday.....FX!
I got a positive opk last month but had no ov pains so I dont think I ovd, it would explain why I had such an odd cycle with lots of clots and spotting....random though as I got positive opks 2 days running!

chocoloulou33 Wed 13-Feb-13 10:43:47

Thanks for the advice ladies, I am a big water drinkere anyway but will try drink more. Good news is I got my conceive plus thru in post 2day, 1st time I've used anything like this. Not due to dtd 2nite though unless I get a + opk 2day.
cleo your ov pains won't be same every month, its v unlikely u didn't ovulate as u had a + opk & you got your af about 2 wEeks later. Am not an expert though so ?? I reeaaaaly wanna get a + opk 2day x

setayharas Wed 13-Feb-13 11:19:33

But of a tmi question here whilst we r discussing cm! Started using the cbfm been high for about a week but no peak yet, iv had 2 days of what I think is ewcm (oh worked away sad ) today iv had more sticky but still feeling watery(like I'm wetting myself lol) could I have missed ovulation? I don't normally ov for a couple more days yet.
This process makes me feel more and more thick lol

honey86 Wed 13-Feb-13 12:29:32

been test crazy today driving myself mad... sticky cm, OPK neg, HCG neg, FSH neg... wud that mean im definately post-ov? or just hormoneless lol x

Springbells Wed 13-Feb-13 13:27:51

Hello all, just fallen off the back of the Feb bus so marking my spot. This cycle was 38 days, so no idea when bfp due, hoping I ovulate this month as didn't last. Apparently ovulating helps the baby making process, but my body decided not to play hmm.

Anyway, large bottle of wine, blue cheese and rare steak planned for this weekend, to console myself! grin

Role on the bfp's!

MotherOfCleo Wed 13-Feb-13 13:29:35

did an opk today and its negative so its def 12-24 hours from yesterday at noon, weve dtd every night since sun and will carry on till friday just incase but I guess I'm into the waiting game......im so impatient! honey i think ewcm is prior to ov so maybe you are oving late? or maybe you missed your surge?

honey86 Wed 13-Feb-13 13:59:12

i havent had much ewcm really, mostly watery...
maybe missed my surge, as aint FSH normally high in the follicular phase...

welcome newbie smile

Hi Ladies, Feels like ages since i've last been on. Have been so busy, this is my first af since having my copper coil removed and what a weird one its been, only one day bleeding and that wasnt even enough for a tampon and the rest has been pretty much pinky cm. Sorry for TMI, just wondering if anyone had anything similar after having the coil removed. Think it has stopped now so let the shagging commence! Hope it happens soon as my coil has to go back in April if it hasn't i am getting married april next year and don't want to be pregnant of still flabby lol x

chocoloulou33 Wed 13-Feb-13 16:42:25

hi loves never had coil or anything so can't rly help u out with that one but wanted to say hi smile I got another -ve opk 2day hmmm x

Tinkerbellefairy Wed 13-Feb-13 17:37:09

Hello ladies can I join? DH and I were planning on waiting to ttc till Christmas this yr but a couple of days ago hubby said lets just go for it yay! Pretty new to this and got on with DTD but not sure if its all a bit too late for this month after our sudden decision. We DTD on cd 17 and my cycles are around 35days do you think I've missed the boat this month? Wishing you all lots of luck x

navis176 Wed 13-Feb-13 17:49:28

Hi all, hopping on the bus for another stressful 30 days....

navis176 - TTC #1 cycle 5 post mmc af due 14 Mar

setayharas Wed 13-Feb-13 17:50:04

Hi tinker
Id say your bang on time to start dtd! My last two cycles have been 35 days and iv got positive opks on cd19 and 20 so I'd say your doing it around the right time! Obviously we are all different!
Do u get any ovulation signs? Cm or pains or anything that might help u pin point your fertile days! Good luck anyway!

Tinkerbellefairy Wed 13-Feb-13 18:48:36

Thanks setay. Hope so have been DTD ever since in hope not too late. Well after reading up on posts on here I now think I might have that stretchy EWCM today so will def continue DTD incase. Sometimes get a bit of pain around ov but right now think I may be over analysing every little body movement and only a few days into this. Glad to see not only one with longer cycles!

chocoloulou33 Wed 13-Feb-13 22:44:34

Hi navis hope your ok hun & your stay on this bus isn't as stressful xx

MotherOfCleo Thu 14-Feb-13 09:45:37

heres to the positive opks choc our cycles are so similar! Got my positive opk day before yesterday.
Im so irrational, we didnt dtd last night after having crap 'we have to dtd as its ov week' sex the night before but dtd this morning instead, now I keep thinking 'what if I OVd yesterday and we dtd too late' geez it was only 7 hours later......I am so sad!!!!

chocoloulou33 Thu 14-Feb-13 11:34:21

Lol cleo u aren't sad hun just ttc makes u over think everything. I haven't had a positive opk yet. Mine have been negative so far sad got a bad belly 2day which is rly not great timing is it! Got to go to work soon. Might have to do an ov test later in day when tummy settles down x

lisbapalea Thu 14-Feb-13 11:47:28

Hi all - I am new to this thread but have been on a couple of the others on the Conception board.

I keep getting -ve OPK results - tested on Monday (CD8), Tuesday (CD9) and today (CD11). My cycle is only 24 days (give or take a day either side) so I would have thought I should be getting +ve results now, shouldn't I?

Am using Boots OPKs and am getting a line, but it's not darker than the control line. I also used these when I conceived DD and seem to remember being utterly confused by them then too!!

lisbapalea - TTC#2 cycle 1 af due 28Feb/1Mar

setayharas Thu 14-Feb-13 12:45:54

ahhh getting the hump here! im due to ovulate in 2 days if i go buy the last few cycles and iv got a lovely amount of ewcm!

oh was on holiday last week and this week has been working away. got back yesterday already a bit late to start dtd

went home at lunch today all ready and we had a huge row haha so iv stormed back to work leaving dtd right to the last minuite

MotherOfCleo Thu 14-Feb-13 13:34:03

choc sorry I misread your post...doh. FX you get a positive soon!

lis you normal ov 14 days prior to AF so I would expect you to OV around cd11, if you can go either way then you may ov today or tomorrow.

The surge can be short lived too, when are you testing? Is it the same time each day? My positives are very obvious, I use the asda ones £7 for 7 I think. I have tried testing at different times but find the best results from my second wee of the day, usually around 11/12ish. Do you normally have any ewcm to help you pinpoint ov? Perhaps you are going to ov late this month? Has anything happened which might delay it? Stress? New supplements? Anything can have an effect I think.

Re the line you should always have a faint test line but a positive should be noticably darker, the same colour as or darker than the control line.I would just keep testing. Sorry I can't be more help.

lisbapalea Thu 14-Feb-13 13:43:46

Thanks cleo - I think I had ewcm yesterday - can't remember if that is supposed to indicate ovulation is coming, is happening or has happened? (I feel very un-clued up on these threads!).

CD11 is today, so will DTD tonight, tomorrow and the weekend. Have also DTD on Monday and Tuesday this week so I may still have some stuff still knocking around up there!

Think I have generally been using OPKs on my 2nd wee of the day, around 11ish as you suggested.

No additional stress that I can think of beyond the usual, other than my new obsession with TTC and religiously reading anything I can about baby making / ovulation!

Have felt a bit bloated for the past couple of days and a few stomach pains, but I think that might have been food related rather than anything to do with ovulation.

navis176 Thu 14-Feb-13 17:35:06

lisba - I think it's quite easy to miss the LH surge - I tend to use opks around 5pm - I think the LH builds up during the day and I find that time works best for me for getting an obvious positive

Have just realised there's every possibility my bfp is due beginning of march so am going to straddle this bus and the feb bus.
Quietninjatardis ttc2 cycle 9 bfp due 1st march I think.
Hi everyone <waves>

Dreamstoreality Thu 14-Feb-13 18:31:47

Also using Boots ovulation strips and not getting a positive. Now on day 13 of 26 day cycle and tested on the 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 day of cycle. Always get a line in the control window but nothing in the test window.

If I don't get BFP this month will invest in the smiley face ones next month.

Springbells Thu 14-Feb-13 20:32:03

Hi quiet (waves back)! Good to see you. loves how exciting, wedding to plan for. Good distraction from the 2ww!

chocoloulou33 Thu 14-Feb-13 21:57:10

Hey everyone. Happy valentines day. Boo hiss that my OH had to go play darts then is at work. Have told him to wake me up in morning as we didn't barely see each other 2day so did not dtd!!! Another -ve ov test for me 2day though. Cd 14 soo annoying! X

barebranches Fri 15-Feb-13 07:05:13

hi everyone just checking in been sitting quietly at the back of the bus.
entering sex week wink now!!
grin

deliasmithy Fri 15-Feb-13 08:49:25

I'm on cd 14, using cbfm with cb sticks.
Nothing detected as yet. I also check the sticks myself and concur with the machine. On mine, when you get the 2nd line, it'd be hard to miss, though it's not as bright as first line.

The last 3 cycles began to peak for me cd17 onward so not panicking yet.

Malteaser1982 Fri 15-Feb-13 09:50:29

Hello everyone smile
CD1 here and thought it best to delurk and, if you don't mind, join you lovely ladies on this journey!

We have a 2 year old daughter already and would love to have another one hmm shock grin I stopped taking the pill last September and although for the past months we weren't exactly trying, we weren't not trying IFSWIM. Adding my stats to the list (as well as other posters' since the list was last updated - I hope I haven't missed anyone, if so sorry blush )

Hi bare try to keep the noise down on back of the bus now you are in sex week smile happy shagging lol.
delia am waiting for my + ov test too. Cd 15 here.
Hello malteaser welcome aboard & cheers for the wine I stopped taking pill last year too. In july. This is my 6 month of ttc#2 as we didn't try straight away. Wishing u loads of luck smile xx

chocoloulou33 Fri 15-Feb-13 11:07:02

Forgot to say thanks for updating the list. I have trouble doing it on my phone.
Oh I used concieve plus for first time this morning. What weird stuff that is hmm

Thatssofunny Fri 15-Feb-13 11:28:27

I'll just quietly sit at the back of the bus...hope that's ok. smile I ov late in my cycle (usually day 16-18). Got smiley face day before yesterday. We dtd both yesterday and the day before, so hoping something will come of it. Not yet getting my hopes up, though.
Got ConceivePlus as well, but currently prefer Preseed, because I can measure out the amount I want to use with the applicator.

Thatssofunny, TTC #1, cycle 14, AF/BFP due 28th Feb/1st March

navis176 Fri 15-Feb-13 12:14:11

My oh has put a ban on conceive plus - he hates it

gillian1986 Fri 15-Feb-13 12:24:40

Hi bus chums! Busy week and I forgot I was on this bus grin lol

My brother in law proposed to his girlfriend yesterday... They have a 1 year old little boy already. So happy for them but now I'm desperate to make my own announcement!

Weng out for v-day meal with hubby last night and we are both v excited about TTC and having a baby so that's good.

Having only come off the pill recently I'm a bit out of touch with my cycle and not sure where I am. We dtd when I THINK I was ovulating. AF due in a weeks time.

I'm in 2 frames of mind right now

1) hoping AF doesn't come, take a test... BFP!

2) AF comes+goes so we can crack on with DTD as much as poss next month!!!

Haha we'll see! grin

Sorelip Fri 15-Feb-13 15:23:42

gillian1986 I'm in the same boat, I've just come off of the pill and I'm waiting for my cycles to go back to normal. I haven't had a normal cycle in sooo long!

navis176 I hate it, but use it anyway. I swear they've changed the formula, it used to be a lot runnier.

I'm on CD8 now, and time seems to be going at a snails pace - I want this month to hurry the hell up! DS is being very cute, which is only making the broodiness worse.

Good luck to all those in their shagging weeks grin

MotherOfCleo Fri 15-Feb-13 15:54:37

hi ladies, nice to see some new faces (waves).
Im being rubbish this month! Its ov week and we didnt dtd on wed but i guess we did each other day, was hoping to dtd this morning but OH said no sad
On the plus side Im taking extra b6 and feel so much more chilled and relaxed, did say to the OH we cant make a baby if we dont have enough sex.....doh. To be fair I guess dtd 7 times so far on cd16 isnt too bad, FX he has long living sperm lol.

chocoloulou33 Fri 15-Feb-13 19:18:14

cleo sure u dtd plenty of times hun. I got my +ve opk 2day woooo at last so will be dtd 2nite b4 OH goes to work! X

dondon33 Fri 15-Feb-13 19:54:25

Mmm I like oreo's smile

I'm in! Technically AF should come around 26/27 of this month but IF she's late I'm going to try my best not to test until early March.

I'm ttc #4 for me and #1 for dp,
this is our first month of seriously calculated trying,
We're trying to follow Dr Shettles method for one of the blue variety (Dp's request) but it doesn't really matter - health is more important.
The final deposit of swimmers have been sent in today - so we're done for this month ;)
Let the waiting and hoping, the symptom spotting (but absolutely not testing nor convincing myself) and the paranoia commence hmm

Good luck to everyone x

lisbapalea Fri 15-Feb-13 21:03:23

Hi all,
Am probably being over-sensitive with symptom spotting, and not sure if these are signs of ovulation or (very) early PG anyway:
Stonking headache lasting all day (although has gone this evening)
Sore boobs
Bloated tummy - like bad trapped wind (sorry!).
Any ideas? Am I just over analysing?
Haven't managed to DTD as much as hoped this week - DD joined us in bed last night which prevented any early morning action (usually our most successful time of day!). Fingers crossed we can make up for it tonight/this weekend. Am on CD12 and half way through cycle so am hoping I'm still in with a chance?

Bubblegum78 Fri 15-Feb-13 21:52:31

I'm in!

Hi Ladies! Hoping for a BFP in March (1st)

xx

Pixie001 Sat 16-Feb-13 00:36:37

Right ladies, I need your advice...
Dh seems to be having issues with keeping his flag raised iykwim. I was hoping we'd manage to dtd before he headed off on his work trip but we tried on wed (my birthday) and thurs morn but now he feels he has a problem it seems to be making it worse. He was really sad bless him. I think pressure's getting to him coz he know how much I'd love dc.
What do I do?

katerinaemalina Sat 16-Feb-13 07:39:46

Hello well I got a bfp.....and then another chem preg. Feeling pretty crappy if I'm honest. Going to go see my gp to see if there is anything wrong. Has anyone else had thus? Thus is the second time it's happened. I tested again thur as still no period (though not sure when due) and bfp 1-2 weeks. Then got AF early thus morning. hmmGoing to come off march bus think just need to see whats going on good luck to you all xx

honey86 Sat 16-Feb-13 08:14:46

7dpo today... hope every1s well x

honey86 Sat 16-Feb-13 08:17:01

good luck kat x

Sorelip Sat 16-Feb-13 10:10:06

I'm sorry kat, that's really crappy. Best of luck finding out what is going on.

Pixie, has he only had a problem since you started TTC?

barebranches Sat 16-Feb-13 20:43:31

just purchased my first box of internet cheapies!! spent a fortune last month!

Looking forward to testing week! (only just starting shagging week! hehe)

Pixie001 Sun 17-Feb-13 00:17:04

sorelip yep, only since ttc. It's happened over last couple mths and now he thinks it's a problem it's worse as he's thinking and worrying about it. Not sure of right things to say to stop the downward spiral and make it better. I just always thought we'd dtd whenever required, never imagined this kinda issue

Good luck to all those in shag week. Dh is still away so desprately trying to cling on to my egg. Maybe things will be better when he's back and had a break.

deliasmithy Sun 17-Feb-13 00:48:03

It's the beginning of shag week here.
Writing this from a hotel room - had booked a romantic night and dinner at hotel with OH but so far complete disaster!
I forgot half of my belongings, OH started an argument during the main course, OH then over-ate and so immediately fell asleep back in the room leaving me to watch movie on my own. He is now snoring away, having killed the evening.
So frustrated!

dondon33 Sun 17-Feb-13 07:55:16

Hi all smile
So sorry Kat and good luck with the GP. x

Pixie - is it possible you could keep him out of things, like not mention you're testing, ovulation etc... Obviously still monitor yourself and when the time's right seduce him. Maybe he won't realise at first, probably will after the 3rd consecutive day smile but by then you'll have lots of swimmers.
Going a bit deeper nowblush - what if you just gave him a BJ or HJ sometimes and at his point of no return - jump on him to collect the goods? maybe it would help take the performance pressure off. I know it's far from romantic but sometimes needs must!

Delia - Oh no! sorry your night didn't go as planned and your OH killed the evening - make him pay for it today and tell him you need a double dose, he should have enough energy after being a little piggy to complete his punishment grin

Good luck all in shag week and those in the 2ww x

honey86 Sun 17-Feb-13 09:03:25

8dpo with another rise in temp and tingly boobs. but still in the first 2ww since coming off the pill so im not going to make any assumptions...

hows everyone doing? xx

honey86 Sun 17-Feb-13 09:05:08

aww delia what a typical male hmm hand him the hoover and sentence him to housework xxxx

chocoloulou33 Sun 17-Feb-13 09:37:21

Ah pixie how frustrating for you. Great advice from dondon though. Its just the pressure of it all. You've gotta leave him out of all the ttc stuff. So difficult though. Rly hope things improve.
delia omg u must have been fuming! No chance for some cheeky morning bd'ing?!
Good luck to everyone else who's ovulating! I've had 2 +opk's so b'ding every night atm! Def more than we have on previous months! X

MotherOfCleo Sun 17-Feb-13 10:19:25

hey ladies, yeah dons advice is sound, fx for you.
choc fx for you too! wink
We've been rubbish this month, had 2 days off during ov week....doubt that bodes well! The extra vit b6 is defo helping this month though, I feel so calm and have a much better attitude smile a very much what will be will be type feeling, I think my chances this month are slim which sucks as Ive put in the time with all the vits both me and the OH have been taking, but we were crap as the sex part, never gonna make a baby without sex lol.
FX for everyone! grin

Ariel21 Sun 17-Feb-13 10:41:56

Hello everyone! AF has arrived so I'm off the Feb bus and straight into this one! This time I've got cupcakes and tea, in china cups. Flowery ones. Let's make March a lucky one!

dondon33 Sun 17-Feb-13 11:12:10

Welcome and good luck for March Ariel

I'm going to go all TMI now but if it helps any of you then it's worth it smile

So Dp and I are attempting to follow Dr Shettles advice to conceive a boy (dp really) and one of his pieces of advice is for the woman to orgasm after the sperm is deposited ( this alone won't give you all a boy)
Anyway, I tried this on our last go of the month and lay still afterwards for around 1 hour and.....something strange, it does seem to suck up ALL of the sperm smile Usually after DTD as soon as I stand then 'it's' running down my legs (told you tmi!) and feels like more has ran out than actually what went in. It's been 2/3 days since we last dtd and only NOW!!! is it beginning to come back out.
Possibly I have a cervix of steel and once I've sucked it up there it's held hostage but I doubt it- it's worth a try don't you think?

MotherOfCleo Sun 17-Feb-13 12:03:53

don ive noticed the same sort of thing, when we dtd before bed and then I lay with my legs in the air for 30 mins before going straight to sleep I dont have any leakage overnight or in the morning. The morning quickies which I prefer have far more leakage as I cant lay down for more than about 10-15 mins afterwards. Lets hope those extra swimmers help get the bfp grin

LondonSuperTrooper Sun 17-Feb-13 12:05:57

Hi everyone

Please count me in! I'm on CD5. This is my TTC #3. I'm hoping for a BFP around 13 March.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Pixie001 Sun 17-Feb-13 12:11:04

Thanks ladies, good advice. I do share way too much ttc info with dh...but then he does ask me when shag time is!! But then I also tell him about all the issues people have ttc i have literally googled just about everything which has prob not helped and got him worrying. I think I need to apply the brakes a little and slow things down so that we're not obsessing even if I am a crazy loon behind the scenes to you ladies!!.
cleo I've been on b6 this cycle, I think on your recommendation! Hoping it sorts my cycles out a little. Sounds like you've done pretty well over ov and choc well done on your shagathon.
dondon I thought it was a bit silly throwing legs in air but have to agree it does seem to keep the little fellas up there! Interesting about the orgasm front but wud find it difficult trying to time these kinda things if when they happen
I haven't got +opk yet which is good, hope it can wait another couple days til dh back. Normally arrives today so shall see.

Pixie001 Sun 17-Feb-13 12:36:11

<Wave crazily to newcomers>. Hope this is your month, sorry if you've fallen off feb bus and excited for all those just starting the ttc journey! I have some birthday cake leftover - anyone want some?

dondon33 Sun 17-Feb-13 13:33:25

Shhhh! Aw God damn don't tell me there's Bday cake too, somebody please wire my jaw although oreos, cupcake and birthday cake sound quite nice in a blender smile Says she who has been eliminating as much added sugar as possible over the last 6 months. Think I'm just having a mega craving for some.
So Yes please Pixie I'll settle for a virtual slice smile

Mother I'm hoping so smile

Hi London good luck to you x

Pixie If you're not blush or dh takes too long then DIY the orgasm after the deed has been done.

chocoloulou33 Sun 17-Feb-13 19:04:13

-ve ov test 2day so yey I guess I'm ovulating 2day as had positive yesterday & day b4. I've ovulated later than usual so will expect af/bfp later too. Sooo am in the 2ww wooo x

OiBlin Sun 17-Feb-13 21:02:09

Hi all, I'd love to hop on the bus please! Just fallen off the feb bus... Very new to this but thinking positive thoughts for all aboard smile

I'm OiBlin, 31, ttc #1, af/bfp 12th March and this will just be cycle 2 (was a patient person up to 2 weeks ago but that virtue fell off the feb bus with me and got run over!)xxx

navis176 Sun 17-Feb-13 22:00:54

hi Oiblin

honey86 Sun 17-Feb-13 22:10:58

waves to new passengers
march BFPs are the way forward ladies, they are so this cycle wink

Pixie001 Sun 17-Feb-13 23:03:05

grin at dondon...I shall enjoy experimenting with that one!

<Sigh> weigh in day and have managed to gain 2lbs over my birthday week. Not gonna hit target of half stone loss by end feb at this rate. Have only lost 3lb now, rubbish! so hit gym this morning. I have 4lbs to lose in 10 days.

I only got round to using opk really late tonight, does this make it invalid? It was -ve and i know you're ideally meant to use them when hormones peak during the day.

Also, any ideas on how to delay ov? I just need to last a couple more days til dh home but I already have ov pains!!

QueenofClean Mon 18-Feb-13 06:38:56

Hi Ladies,

I'll be falling off the feb bus am just waiting for AF to arrive. 3 days late and BFN this morning. Will be due AF around 15-18 March!

LondonSuperTrooper Mon 18-Feb-13 07:01:45

Thanks for the welcome and starts munching on hobnobs........

Due to my previous history in TTC, my GP has booked me for a scan to check my tubes as well as an internal examination. Has anyone had the internal examination? What are they looking for and is it uncomfortable. In addition I'm also having day 21 blood tests. I'm feeling positive this month!

QueenofClean Mon 18-Feb-13 07:20:12

London - a transvaginal scan doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable and they do that to check your uterus for things that you may not be able to see with an abdominal scan. Hth

padster75 Mon 18-Feb-13 07:23:25

Morning,

Yep I am still on the bus (was having a snooze on the bag rack in case you were wondering about the bulge).

Approaching OV time, so we know what that means. DH slowly learning about this small window of fun ......... bless, if only I had a penis to worry about.

Wedding anniversary tomorrow ............ guess what we're doing??

............. Yep, that's right, those of you who said 'Donating a pint of blood' give yourselves a pat on the back!!

Have a good one & hi to all the newbies

Pixie001 Mon 18-Feb-13 08:46:09

pads ha ha, who said romance was dead... Can't wait to hear what you did on valentine's...

LondonSuperTrooper Mon 18-Feb-13 09:53:08

LondonSuperTrooper Mon 18-Feb-13 09:54:11

So sorry... not sure what happened to my post, so I've just re-posted it above.

SpanishLady Mon 18-Feb-13 09:55:43

can finally feel like I am ttc - we dtd for the first time this weekend since my MC - it was lovely to dtd for no other reason then to do it! I believe I may have ovulated Weds/Thurs of last week so am hoping for a period to start next week then its OPKs time and fx. My DH bless him was a bit anxious but I felt it was important that when we start dtd again it wasnt stressful and about trying to get pg again. - as you might imagine we are both trying not to worry about if I will struggle to conceive again or if I do conceive having another MC.

I know its abit mental but I'd like to have a baby in 2013 and March is my last chance or definitely be pregnant bythe time of my original due date (8 Sept) - but frankly I'd take any time now.

doesnt it feel like Spring is really close?!!!

LondonSuperTrooper Mon 18-Feb-13 09:57:51

Queen thanks for your explanation. I didn't ask the GP any questions regarding the internal scan as I was in shock at finally getting my tubes to be looked at smile

I should have mentioned previously that I TTC #2 2 years ago for 10 cycles and miscarried at 9 weeks but knew things weren't quite right at 6 weeks. And I'm also rapidly approaching my 40th birthday and so pleased that my GP is being proactive and addressing my concerns.

honey86 Mon 18-Feb-13 10:56:26

ive had a transvaginal scan before when i was 5 weeks preg with dd. felt really uncomfortable, like have a huge plastic dildo push in there blush i was more embarrassed than hurt lol i felt pressure down there as it scanned against my cervix. it sounds worse than it is smile good luck x

dondon33 Mon 18-Feb-13 11:43:24

Hi to all the new passengers <WAVES>

Yeah Honey I find it more blush than painful too, especially that awkward moment after it's picked up <and the condom expertly applied> smile but such is life, anything to do with our lady parts and we must forget about dignity/embarrassment blush

Don't worry London it's done quite quickly there's a little jiggling it around as it's pointed left and right to view your tubes and ovaries but nothing too bad. During the last one I had my Gynae could even see that I'd recently ov'd and from which side, which I was pleased to know as I was there for a MOT of sorts before starting TTC.

I love it Padster -*bless, if only I had a penis to worry about* so very very truesmile
Happy shagging in your 'window of fun' Good luck.

Pixie on one brand of OPK's I had it says I could test between 10am - 22.00 but I try to do it usually between 3-5pm so have never tested that late myself.
Another brand said until 20.00 so unsure confused

Best of luck Queen and Spanish x

I'm more convinced today that my body doesn't like sperm!! I kid you not shock
Usually, under normal, non-ttc circumstances I don't like it being deposited inside me - it makes me itch, uncomfortable etc....
Now obviously ttc we've sent what feels like bucket loads in there with the main objective being to keep it in.
Since yesterday I'm feeling very bloated in my womb area, more on one side and like a cramping feeling but not as bad as ov/af.
Usually after ov I'm fine and have no symptoms of af until maybe 1/2 days before she arrives (I've still got around 9 days to go) - so the spermies are getting the blame smile

gillian1986 Mon 18-Feb-13 12:20:54

Popping in to say hello! I'm on nightshifts today and tomorrow so in bed watching tv at the moment and will try and get some more sleep this afternoon before starting work at 7pm.

AF due on Thursday (ish). Not quite sure where my cycles are after coming off the pill so chances are it won't be Thursday but we'll see.

So tempted to test today... Have had lots of symptoms for the last week or so but I'm trying to resist until I'm late at least!

AF due around Thursday so planning to test next Thursday if AF hasn't come by then.

Really want a baby in 2013 so I guess match is our last chance!!!!!

dondon33 Mon 18-Feb-13 12:41:56

Hi gillian good luck!

I'm hoping probably against hope that I'll fall this first cycle - due to the fact I DON'T want to be heavily pregnant in the winter smile It's horrendous here where I live and kicks in properly in Jan/Feb time so if I could choose - I'd like to give birth nov/early dec - probs won't work that way though smile What will be, will be!

MotherOfCleo Mon 18-Feb-13 13:51:16

well currently I'm 5dpo and I feel good, none of the usual 2ww anxiety, plus I have no spotting (the last 2 cycles Ive had spotting) so i hope my extra b6 is doing its job.....fx!!! fx something more exciting is happening with sperm and egg too but I dont actually think we dtd enough this month!

Loving the spring sunshine, all my plants are in bud, it makes me grin

honey86 Mon 18-Feb-13 14:13:26

tbh don i think i lost my dignity with each child i had, now its starting to be more of a 'lets get these legs open and get this ting done' jobbie lol

sounds positive motherofcleo smile im distracted already at 9dpo. i had a bad nights sleep last night, woke up at 3am, took temp, discovered a .3 temp dip and sleepily googled 'implantation dip' blush went back to sleep, woke up at 7, retook temp,
recorded-down-highest-tempsad

feel slightly annoyed at myself for winding myself up already

dondon33 Mon 18-Feb-13 16:32:46

Me too honey With the first I was a little blush and shockbut by the time my 3rd arrived I don't think I'd of been too bothered if they'd asked me give birth in the car park smile
Now in any situation that involves my lady garden - I've pretty much done the 'knee's together, drop em and relax' action wayyy before I'm asked to do so smile blush

I'm 4/5 dpo and refuse to symptom spot- I don't temp so don't have that distraction. I am having a few unusual signs (as mentioned above but the spermies could be the little culprit's) and the other's could just as easy be related to post-ov/ pre-af but this month I'm more aware/sensitive to them.
<I will stay strong.....I want to stay strong ......I hope I stay strong smile >

honey86 Mon 18-Feb-13 17:51:49

i hope you stay strong too, cos i clearly havent phaha grin ive been testing daily for the last few days to see if any shadows appear blush next month ill try and have some restraint x

theboob Mon 18-Feb-13 19:26:36

hello all and welcome to everybody else !
well still no AF here for me , thats no period since december and almost 3 weeks since implant removed .....what the hell is going on ? i've no idea where i am in my cycle and all opk's are negative

really pissed off sad

dondon33 Mon 18-Feb-13 19:45:22

honey- Thankyou! ask me again when I get to dpo12/13 I've a feeling my 'strength' will be all but gone by then smile

theboob so sorry, I don't have any words of wisdom regarding how long after the implant, I've never had one but I hope all returns to normal ASAP for you.
Out of interest- how long is it supposed to/can it take?

honey86 Mon 18-Feb-13 19:55:28

we'll see, we'll see grin

theboob i had the implant a couple times, and normally took bout 2 months to get preg after, the first af arriving a few weeks after removal... sit tight im sure youll find out what your bodys doing soon xx

MotherOfCleo Mon 18-Feb-13 20:14:01

don i'm about 6dpo, we can be cycle buddies smile I'll try and stop you symptom spotting if you stop me getting negative wink

barebranches Mon 18-Feb-13 20:18:47

hey all
hope every one is good on the bus.

im so annoyed. im in sex week and im ill. have the most un sexy cough/ cold sad hope it passes quickly... sad sad

MotherOfCleo Mon 18-Feb-13 20:54:12

get well soon bare! On the plus side an I cant believe Im saying this! but if you're taking an anti mucous cough medicine it can help improve your CM.....every cloud and all that lol wink

theboob Mon 18-Feb-13 21:15:14

I've had the implant for 13 years and had it out for each child , always had a bleed after removel .......i hate waiting grin

dondon33 Mon 18-Feb-13 21:32:58

Ah so you're a veteran at it then theboob I can understand your desire for a bleed now if it's happened quickly before, it has to happen so fingers crossed it's very soon for you.

mother yes! that sounds like good team work smile

Hi bare Oh no, not a good time to be ill, wishing you a speedy recovery.
How would your OH feel if you kept your back to him (fab position for sperm) while you'd already slyly packed your nose with loo roll (can be quickly removed before the post coitus cuddles) smile
Mother makes a good relevant point too ;)

barebranches Mon 18-Feb-13 22:47:17

oohh dondon good idea althougj my hacking cough is a bit of a turn off... i sound like an 80 year old man who has smoked 40 a day.... sigh....

padster75 Tue 19-Feb-13 07:53:16

Today is our wedding anniversary, chances of making it 3/3 deposits are slim as we're giving blood this evening!! We know how to live in the fast lane!!

pixie valentines was a non-starter as hubby working 200+ miles away. We really are the last of the romantics!!

<passes round my special hot toddies for anyone feeling yak> <<they may be lethal, but I can assure you at the very least you wont give a monkeys wink

honey86 Tue 19-Feb-13 08:13:30

awww padster well done for giving blood, a precious gift indeed. i was going to do that but hasnt been long since my last tattoo x

Padster I'm impressed giving blood. I can't do it myself. I hate needles and thinking of giving away my blood makes be feel faint. OH keeps reminding me there is needles involved with pregnancy. Isn't he a dear!

I'm in my first month and I imagine this is the funnist week of the process. We have DTD more this week than probably the last couple of months. OH doesn't know what hit him. Although now I'm going away for 3 days (just at the important time too) so hope we have done enough (don't really expect it work first time). But still FX

Hey everyone

I'm a bit worried cos I've got my day21 test on Friday (which is cd24) as I have ovulated around the cd19 for past couple of months. But this month I had what felt like ovulation pain last fri and loads of cm on sat fat good that was as I was away visiting a friend so I'm not sure how accurate it'll be now. We dtd thurs and sun so have prob completely missed ovulation this month hmm I think my body might hate me!

dondon33 Tue 19-Feb-13 13:40:11

Hi quiet
I had mine done on CD19 which was around 5 days after ov and my result was good enough even though when done correctly it should be 7dpo.
If you think your ov was last fri -15/2/13? and you're getting tested 22/2 then that's good - it's perfect timing.

DTD thurs = alive spermies already waiting for your egg smile
DTD Sun = Egg possibly (hopefully) still alive depending at what time on friday it popped out.
Don't count yourself out yet, fingers crossed x
I'm ttc - cycle 1 too and not expecting it to work 1st try neither - currently dpo 5/6 and feeling hopeful.

Thanks dondon. I'm not feeling hopeful as each month is a disappointment for me. This months a bit different in that if I come on then I have the day 1-4 blood test so at least something's going to be happening even if its not pregnancy.

dondon33 Tue 19-Feb-13 18:01:47

Oh sorry I thought I read it was your 1st month TTC Quiet
I'm still thinking positive for you but yes, IF af comes then the tests are positive steps to check what's going on, if anything.

padster I missed your post earlier..... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
and well done for giving blood, I have donated a few times in the UK (coming very close to needing a transfusion myself pushed me to do it)
I don't live in the UK now though and I'm not sure of the rules/regulations in this country about donating.

deliasmithy Tue 19-Feb-13 20:06:52

Hello all,
I thought I wrote a follow up to my hotel saga but can't see it. So, this is where I'm at:
OH continued to be an idiot next morning but managed to resolve and dtd Sunday and Monday.
As I forgot sticks at weekend I'm missing info on Sunday, but Monday and today were high. Evening off to recharge tonight and I'm still at work. Fingers crossed I get a peak tomorrow but might have missed it. Two darts on the dart board isn't that great. Five and I'd be happy.

barebranches Tue 19-Feb-13 21:12:02

hey all
hope everyones doing well. cabt wait till march!
still feel so ill but managed to DTD last night. planning on tomorrow too. Ovulate friday. we shall see.
thanks for the ill sex tips!! wink

Dreamstoreality Tue 19-Feb-13 21:23:50

How early have you ladies had symptoms??

According to my days app I should have ovulated on 13th Feb although boots opk never showed a positive result. AF /BFP due 28th Feb or 1st March.

This evening I can not stop running to the loo so either I have a UTI (although no pain or burning) or very early symptoms?!?! My previous 2 pregnancies (mc x2) had this symptom 2 days before AF due along with hyper sensitive sense of smell..

Is this too early to have symptoms???

Lol dondon I missed that! How come you've had tests if this is your first cycle?
Delia sperms can hang around for a few days so fx you'll be fine.
Dreams I have no idea how early you can get symptoms but I've imagined every symptom going ttc number 2 and yet had no symptoms at all with ds apart from missed period and then the sickness hit at 6 and a half weeks. Some people do get them early don't they.

Pixie001 Wed 20-Feb-13 07:39:27

Yay yay yay! Dh came back yest and dtd last night and flag stayed up! grin dh so pleased with himself.
As part of my new outwardly chilled self I managed to not say anything ttc related. +opk was couple days ago but knew we were going to miss this mth. Just relieved we managed to dtd

QueenofClean Wed 20-Feb-13 07:54:34

Still no AF this should be last day of my period (day 6) poas this morning BFN. So not sure what's going on.

Hi Ladies, not been on for a while been so busy! How is everyone? I ov'd yesterday (I think) been dtd every other day. Feeling positive this month smile

Ariel21 Wed 20-Feb-13 08:18:03

Think AF has buggered off now so looking forward to getting on it for another month (so is husband luckily). Think he was quite relieved I didn't get pregnant first try, as is enjoying himself! Happy shagging this week peeps. eats cupcake

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 08:24:21

aw good news pixie smile bless him x

QueenofClean Wed 20-Feb-13 10:38:20

AF has arrived only 6 days late! so I'm fallen off the feb bus. Roll on making a Nov baby wink

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 12:03:44

Quiet I had tests done as part of a pre-pregnancy MOT as it's been a long time since my last child and I've had a few health probs in between. It helped that I don't live in the UK - I have private ins so can pretty much have what the hell I want, when I want smile
Technically this is the first month of calculated trying - but prior to that we've not used contraception for ages but obviously haven't hit the jackpot

Aww No! Queen hope the evil witch leaves asap and you can get back to business ;)

Good luck to all Dtd and those waiting x

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 12:42:10

aww queen sadat least you know whats what now though xx fx x

Pixie001 Wed 20-Feb-13 14:41:50

Hello loves! Good work, how long dpo will you keep dtd for?
dondon a pre-ttc MOT sounds like a great idea! Shame they don't do it on nhs as a normal thing
Sorry to hear that queen <passes hot water bottle>
Thanks honey it's such a relief, just hope it keeps going like this and he doesn't go doubting himself!

QueenofClean Wed 20-Feb-13 14:50:29

Thanks everyone <grabs hot water bottle & paracetamol>

Pre-TTC Mot sounds good. Where in the world are you? Stateside?

DH won't know what's hit him when this period has finished lol! Will take him back to when we conceived DD2 - we were lucky then as we caught on first month.

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 15:28:23

You put your feet up Queen and get that hot water bottle working I hate cramp I'm in Poland.
Lmao at your Dh comment - feed him well, plenty protein, he's going to need it smile

Pixie I know, I find it a bit redic at how long some couples have to wait before being sent for the even the most basic of investigations.
I was also getting a bit hmm about my age as I reach the dreaded oh my god you want a baby now grand old age of 35 this year smile and wanted to make sure I was fit enough inside and out (hence the gynae appt and trans vag scans)
So because I have a dp who is studying advanced biology at the mo - along with all the health and hormone tests I had done. his paranoia ensured I also now know that I'm still immune to rubella, not immune to toxoplasmosis nor do I currently have it and have no immunity to any hepatitis virus confused smile
I noticed here in Poland, while there are young mums, there's a higher percentage of first time mums around my age and many above and the Dr's in general are totally not concerned about the age thing, not at my age anyway.

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 15:46:26

Forgive me bus buddies for I have today, just now in fact, sinned

I swore to myself I wouldn't bloody symptom spot but.......
TMI sorry - from waking up this morning I was quite crampy then had diarrohea, it continued a few times but I'm feeling a bit better now. I know it's nothing I've eaten and that it's not a stomach bug as I don't feel ill with it and I NEVER get just 'it' alone.
Technically I didn't intend to symptom spot but I typed in google
' can ttc cause diarrohea?' or something like that... and it came up about how it's an overlooked symptom of very early pregnancy shock I so wasn't expecting that.
I'm still going to try and forget I've read it but just wanted to confess.

barebranches Wed 20-Feb-13 17:30:16

*wakes up at back of bus
Coughs and splutters... complains... grabs tissues and passes out*

sad

Pixie001 Wed 20-Feb-13 20:31:21

dondon leave google alone! Ha ha, way too tempting to symptom spot. Obviously I do hope diarrohea's a good sign for you tho smile. In cycle 1 I convinced myself that thrush meant I was pg... Was so suprised and gutted when af arrived!

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:06:35

It wasn't an intentional symptom spotting mission Pixie I swear. I thought I'd google to see if I'd...--not sure what I thought actually-- maybe overdosed with sperm or something? smile too much penis is maybe bad for your bowel?? smile smile I swear I'm not using Dr Google any more.
Aww boo! to thrush tricking you too.

< Passes some soft delicate kleenex and some vicks to Bare and helps her to her nice comfy bed>

barebranches Wed 20-Feb-13 21:12:40

thanks Dondon... very grateful for the soft tissues.. the kitchen roll was chaffing my nose.

cant smell the vicks!!! cant taste chocolate.... all pleasure in life is gone...sad

there will be no DTD tonight... just hope earlier on in the week was enough....

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:15:06

ive tried hard not to be so paranoid today hasnt worked
but been abit distracted since this afternoon, dd had a scan cos of recurrent urine infections, and i got a call today to say shes got a kidney defect and gotta see a paediatric specialist... something to do with her tubes being too narrow and sending urine back the wrong way... and she has a bladder infection too... so havent been on much of today. hope every1s cool xx

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:33:34

Oh so sorry honey hope your dd is ok. I hope it's something that can be fixed, monitored, grown out of. Take care x

No worries bare kleenex rule when your nose is sore. Hope you feel better soon x

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 23:10:44

she should be ok, just gotta give her more antibiotics til she sees the specialist. i was told it could cause kidney failure if untreated but hopefully we found it early as poss.

thanx tho fx to al x x

dondon33 Thu 21-Feb-13 02:54:32

It's always a worry isn't it when they're ill and here we are planning to add more of them to worry about smile
Hope the specialist appointment hurries through for her and you, take care x

honey86 Thu 21-Feb-13 07:47:59

lol thats so true grin

morning ladies..

12dpo.. tested this morning with yet another internet cheapie after last nights one came up with a faint line and..........<drumroll>.......... bfn hmm

hoping you ladies are having better luck than me xx fx xx brew

deliasmithy Thu 21-Feb-13 10:20:07

Day 4 of cbfm saying high! I think it's missed it in there somewhere, as I felt mild cramps Tues.
Unfortunately no more darts trying to get the.bullseye - I picked up that lovely winter vomiting bug, OH working 7am til midnight at mo.
My bets are on a bfn.

setayharas Thu 21-Feb-13 10:30:02

delia sorry to hear you're poorly. That thing is really terrible, hope you recover quickly. Flippin heck, they're long hrs for you OH! 4 days does seem quite a long time, I thought those things were meant to make it clearer not more confusing! At least you got poorly now rather than a few days ago...so there's a chance you may have hit the bullseye!
honey hope antibiotics help your dd and that it's not long before specialist appt. I don't know too much about temps but it's not over til it's over so they say!
setay pleased to hear you have your referral and hope appt comes thru quickly. Enjoy organising your wedding, wish you and df all the best. X

SpanishLady Thu 21-Feb-13 16:58:11

honey86 Thu 21-Feb-13 18:13:16

good luck spanish lady smile x

PistachioTruffle Thu 21-Feb-13 19:39:40

Evening all, hope those who've been under the weather are feeling better!

I'm having no discernible symptoms, AF due sometime between next Tuesday and next Thursday. Can't help feeling its not my month again!

Is anyone else finding themselves drawn to baby shops? I keep having the urge to go and coo at all the tiny clothes, but I think I'll probably make myself feel worse!

honey86 Thu 21-Feb-13 20:05:47

meeee pistachio! all the cute lil tights n shoes n mittens sad
me and dp got distracted with the prams in toys'r'us and testdrove them about blush

PistachioTruffle Thu 21-Feb-13 20:16:31

Haha @ Honey86 grin

I wouldn't be guilty of meandering through the baby department of John Lewis on the way to the loos and having an experimental drive of a pram, oh no. I also wouldn't see a shop assistant approaching and quickly scarper before she asks me when my non-existent baby is due! Not me, no siree. Ahem wink

Pixie001 Thu 21-Feb-13 22:04:50

honey and pistachio you just need to 'borrow' a baby like me! I have a friend lives round corner and I take her ds out shopping pretending he's mine <sigh> I'm ttc #1 btw, feel envious of those of you who already have dc to shop for

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 08:49:54

haha grin this made me LoL. its sad but its soo true... the things we do... we were actually discussing which one would fold up better to go in my little car boot.
is amazin how baby stuff has changed since i last had a baby... bottle shapes, bpa-free this-and-that , and techno baby monitors... 4 years ago it was a lightup tomy one. now its sensor mats n mini cctv lol

13dpo today my temps still above coverline but still bfn. kinda frustrated cos it dropped yesterday and i thought af would come but still nothing.. it wouldve ment no bfp but at least id have known what my bodys doing now hmm

back to waiting

DogandBeth Fri 22-Feb-13 09:24:22

Hello is there any room on the bus for me? I don't mind where I sit, long as I'm on it. Currently ttc #3, hoping for a bpf early march (not sure exactly when as this is the first month I've had an af since having dc2 (so this is cycle 1) reckon about 6 march maybe (not been very scientific about it this month) ttc always does my head in a bit so it's good to read that I'm not alone. Wishing you all lots of good luck x

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 10:31:26

morning dogandbeth smile welcome aboard!

i have 3 myself, ttc #4.. also on the paranoid obsessive testing bus wink

ELA88 Fri 22-Feb-13 10:37:26

Hey girlies! Haven't posted on this thread yet but was just reading about you looking at baby clothes and testing prams! I was out yesterday and found I had wandered away from DH into the baby section and was looking at whole nursery sets...then thought to myself I am clearly losing my marbles a little! But I'm so glad others do it too! I just hope no one asks me when I'm due as I haven't got that far yet! Xxx

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:15:27

my excuse is 'im going to a baby shower soon' grin haha x

dondon33 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:20:28

Good morning Ladies!
Hello and welcome to new passengers smile
Hope everyone's well.

setay - best of luck with the referral and in the future x

Ooh honey it's so close for you, I'm excited and have my fx for you.
Talking about how baby things have changed shock OMG! it's been almost 14 years since I was last with child and it's honestly like my first time when I see some of the gadgets available today. I have sneaky peaks at the babies clothes while shopping but tbh Dp is the worst culprit - only last night he stopped to check out a car seat in our local supermarket, he always notices whenever pampers/huggies are on on special offer too. Bless him smile

I've managed to reign in my symptom curiosity for now although I nearly succumbed to losing the plot yesterday - I've got a few PT's in the cupboard and I found myself checking the sensitivity on them hmm smile Had a quick look to see when it's possible to pick up a BFP, then decided to leave it.
Today - I don't know where the tests are as I forced dp to hide them from me. I only have 4/5 days until af due, and even though patience is not one of my strongest points, I can wait I can! no really, I can! smile

Wishing everyone extra good luck x

dondon33 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:24:05

* Hmm! It would seem spelling is not one of my stronger points neither smile

Of course I meant sneaky peeks not peaks smile

ELA88 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:27:17

Ohh that is such a good excuse! I now feel justified to be in the baby sections! Xxx

QueenofClean Fri 22-Feb-13 11:30:02

Welcome newbies smile

Honey lol. I'm not that obsessed yet. However, I'm a sling/wrap fan so will prob get over excited about them lol.

Very hormonal, however, I am happy that this will hopefully be my last AF for at least a year grinwink

Pixie001 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:46:34

Ha, we're all loonies! grin
Db and sil are off for their 20 wk scan today <sigh>. Bump is growing super quickly and I, having started ttc 3 mths earlier am STILL ttc sad. Everything's def more high tech nowadays - he's bought her a heart beat listening thingy. Suprised if the baby's not in there playing angry birds on an ipad!

Pixie001 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:57:27

dondon good idea hiding hpts! Giggle at thought of you frantically turning house upside down in efforts to find them over nxt few days as your patience disappears! Be super impressed if u can wait, I have zero patience!
Still 10 days for me and expecting af. So annoying to have to wait for her tho...she might as well get here now and get it over with!

PistachioTruffle Fri 22-Feb-13 11:57:50

Oh Pixie, it's hard when that happens sad, but I keep thinking that it happened for them, and it will happen for us too! I did laugh at the angry birds playing baby though! grin

On the subject of baby gear, last months boots magazine had a short feature in TTC which was talking about the benefits of keeping a positive frame of mind. It suggested kitting out a nursery as a strong positive image! I don't know about anyone else, but my poor DH would think I'd finally lost the plot if I suggested turning the spare room into a nursery to help us conceive!

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 11:58:40

lmao! i agree that DPs can be just as bad.. he was looking and test driving too so it would be hypocritical of him to bring it up phaha

i love wearing slings, having bubba snuggled up close..

i am... my temp went back up by .2 again and boobs still tingle.. but i can feel pmt on the horizon, therefore due to start biting DPs head off bless him poor bloke
im not used to this, when ive had a bfp before, ive had it bout 10 dpo x

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:03:48

pistachio my sis has been ttc for years (she has clotting and thyroid problems) and i came across her top draw of baby clothes.. felt sad for her but also thought it was a tiny bit wierdblush x

dondon33 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:10:46

Chin up Pixie it will soon be you going for scans, stay positive x
A heartbeat listening thingy I personally could think of nothing worse -imo it's a recipe to drive you insane/cause huge panic/ un necessary stress.
Babies heart rates sound crazy they can go up and down by a huge difference, which is all perfectly normal to an expert. I always ask in hospital when strapped to the monitor that they turn the sound off - midwife can monitor it without making me nervous.

Give it time - modern technology will advance enough soon that we'll be able to send mini spy-cams in there strapped to the back of a sperm, to capture all from conception to birth. Okay! so maybe that's a bit far fetched but it sounds good smile

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:19:03

that actually sounds like a good idea lets get inventing grin haha
i tried one of the heartbeat monitorey thingymabobs once its pants x

dondon33 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:23:58

Aw honey that's so sad, I hope your sis has success soon too.

That's the good thing pixie because I've told dp to hide them and he knows when af is due - the sod smile absolutely won't give them to me now, god knows where he's put them, they're not in obvious places not that I've looked smile
That's why I was a little torn between early testing - I'm sick of waiting and I'd rather disappoint myself rather than have AF do it for me. But the more sensible part of my brain said Nooooo! there's not enough hGC there to be accurate anyway.

dondon33 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:29:21

Bah!! what's wrong with me today? smile

*I mean hCG NOT hGC - I'm inventing my own hormones here smile

ELA88 Fri 22-Feb-13 12:30:42

Pixie we're both due AF the same day! Positive thoughts! Hopefully! Xxx

Pixie001 Fri 22-Feb-13 13:13:46

No way, they cannot be serious about doing a nursery?! Agree pistachio my dh would think I'm officially crazy! And also what wud any visitors think!! Mental!
honey I can see why your dsis bought it all-it's so tempting but have absolutely resisted the urge so far. Bless her, so sad when dc so desperately wanted but dont arrive
I like idea of sperm-cams...other thing I would like whilst we're inventing is easy artificial insemination for when dh is not around at fertile time!
ELA I'm pretty sure mine will be af unfortunately as dh was away with work just when I needed him...but hope yours is bfp instead!

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 13:52:18

it is very sad sad shes miscarried alot too... she wants it more than anything i wish it happens soon i had a dream last night that she was expecting blush x

All the best setay. Enjoy organising your wedding!
Lol at looking at baby stuff I,don't do that at all, oh no

Into the two week wait now though not entirely sure when I ovulated if at all. Had my progesterone blood test today so just waiting for af then I can have the day 1-4 blood test.

Pixie001 Fri 22-Feb-13 14:19:05

Would someone mind updating the passenger list for this magical mystical march bus? Hard to do on my phone...

PistachioTruffle Fri 22-Feb-13 14:29:25

Haha Pixie, I hadn't even thought of visitors, that would be even worse! And yes, it was a genuine suggestion by an expert in something-or-other!

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 15:25:13

i would if i was on my lappy, i cant fo it on my phone either x x

BeQuicksieorBeDead Fri 22-Feb-13 15:32:16

QueenofClean Fri 22-Feb-13 17:51:50

Exciting times I see.

I can't add my name to the list from my phone.

QueenofClean TTC#3 Cycle 2 BFP due 15th March.

lisbapalea Fri 22-Feb-13 18:40:14

Exciting times indeed!

honey your faint bfp makes me so tempted to test but I was scared it's too early! According to the list we're due at the same (28Feb/1Mar) and I keep convincing myself I have symptoms - sore boobs for the last week or so (am sure that's earlier than my usual PMT symptoms), plus had a strange compulsion for Branston Pickle which I never normally eat! Am sure even if I was pg then this is way too early for cravings so it's prob all my head!

I have a leftover PG test (boots own) from a couple of yrs ago (a bfn followed swiftly by AF so I never used the second test in the pack). It says it expired in 2012 so I don't know whether it would even be worth using - was thinking of waiting until Wed/Thu of next week?

MotherOfCleo Fri 22-Feb-13 18:55:44

ohhh hunny im due the same day as you and now I'm sooooo tempted to test! Eeek. What test did you use?

MotherOfCleo Fri 22-Feb-13 18:56:10

honey not hunny.....doh

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 18:56:24

certainly looked like it.. its hardto explain cos my cycle was all over the place.. i bled all through jan,ff said i ov'd 9th which makes af due tomorrow or day after
but i worked it out to be28th/1st march, ive been testing daily with internet cheapies and til today theyve all been neg,

tested this morning got what i thought was an evap line so i binned it. few hours later i retested and there was a very faint (but definately there) line with a hint of pink.

so maybe, mayb not. im going to retest in the next few days with a frer test and let all know what happens. trying not to get excited.
fx to all you ladies thanks

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 19:03:50

they were internet cheapies hun, 30 for a 5er off ebay lol x

chocoloulou33 Fri 22-Feb-13 20:46:51

Hey everyone. Been having a good read thru all the posts. Had a good catch up. Been gone most of week as my phone broke grrr, had to wait for replacement. Also been working every hour under the sun. Cd22 for me.
honey hope its a bfp 2moro for you.
cleo how ru?! Thinking about testing? Ooh how exciting. How many dpo ru? I ov late this month. Am only 6dpo so I gotta while to wait x

MotherOfCleo Fri 22-Feb-13 21:36:09

hi choc ohhh what phone do you have?

I'm ok, did a test this evening as I got impatient, but got a bfn sad got really sad until I realised i'm only 9dpo so it may just be too early? Af/bfp not due until the 1st so im going to try to hold off till at least the 28th.

Ive had no post ov spotting at all, which as you know is unusual for me as I have a spotting issue, so even if I dont get my bfp I keep telling myself I should be pleased that Ive solved that problem. I just hope its my month.

honey86 Fri 22-Feb-13 23:02:58

aww mother im sorry.... although 9dpo is well early.. give it a few more days x fx x

chocoloulou33 Fri 22-Feb-13 23:24:57

cleo ur just too early hun & u did test not using fmu. Maybe try again mon if u can't wait any longer than that?
I didn't get a new model, just a replacement. Not even sure what it is exactly, a blackberry that slides open is as far as my knowledge goes haha! X

MotherOfCleo Fri 22-Feb-13 23:34:46

haha, nice techy knowledge choc wink
Yeah I didnt actually realise I was only 9dpo, someone with the same dates as me got a bfp so I got all carried away, should have known better! I'm going to wait it out now I think as I am so sick of getting bfn's or at least wait till the 28th wink

DogandBeth Sat 23-Feb-13 02:32:50

DogandBeth Sat 23-Feb-13 02:33:24

Least it takes my mind off symptom spotting I guess!

Morning all. I've just disembarked from the Feb bus due to the arrival of AF. TTC#2, and taking some time about it (now on cycle 17). DD was conceived on cycle 16, so I was hoping that Feb was going to be my lucky month. Evidently not. sad Here's hoping March delivers the BFP.

gillian1986 Sat 23-Feb-13 08:20:23

Hi ladies... Well... As I thought I have fallen off the feb bus with a bang!
AF came in full force over night... I am experiencing the worst period pains ever right now! Taking ibuprofen as I write this!

Anyway... Sad I'm not pregnant but also really happy AF came. This is now my second true period since coming off the pill in December and I seem to be regular and AF came exactly as I calculated. So.. That's good and definitely gives me high hopes for March!
I've got more of an idea when I will be ovulating etc so... I'm on it! wink

So now I'm in cycle 2 if someone could update the list? I'm on my iPhone... Sorry! Xox

gillian1986 Sat 23-Feb-13 08:22:22

Ah honey86 I'm excited for you! Wishing its a good thing and that this is the time!!!! Fingers crossed xox
smile

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 08:56:58

sorry to hear that gillian thanks but at least you know where you stand. my af is due today or tomorrow. tbh the lines got lighter with what shouldve been stronger urine.. todays line seems like more of an evap line in comparison to yesterdays thick pink one... i have a bad feeling... sad but im coming to the end of a 52 day cycle so i need to know what my bodys going to do x

Dreamstoreality Sat 23-Feb-13 09:14:23

Inspired by honey ( got everything crossed for you) and the fact we're due the same day I have just POAS and got a BFN.. I will not test again until at least Wednesday although I have enough Internet cheapies to test everyday so it wouldn't really hurt to try again tomorrow

dondon33 Sat 23-Feb-13 09:18:18

Good morning bus buddies, hope everyone's well x

I've woken up to today and my face has had some sort of meltdown over night/ or my body thinks it's in it's teens again - I have 4 or 5 spots which is weird for me, I maybe get 1 every 3 or 4 months. Also attacking me is a stonking bloody cold sore right below my lip twat I'm trying to kill it with T tree as I've got no zovirax in the house- I haven't had one for ages and forgot how annoying this tingling is angry

Positive thoughts and fx honey

Mother I almost succumbed too - I had a plan last night..... to collect my fmu - keep it until I buy another test (You'll remember my Dp has hidden mine) and try today..... I can't really be proud of myself though for not doing it as the decision was taken out of my hands I pee'd and forgot to collect smile

Sorry to the ladies who were sent here by AF - hopefully March will be luckier.

deliasmithy Sat 23-Feb-13 10:16:45

I ate an entire Easter egg yesterday.
I'm convinced I'll get bfn in 2 weeks. At least I can eat choc for a whole month

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 10:21:56

ive got same problem hun, my face is really breaking out today sad i used to have such lovely clear skin..
boobs are still abit tingly too, felt like i was being nipple-crippled this morning blush fx x

PistachioTruffle Sat 23-Feb-13 11:14:41

Fingers crossed for you Honey.
Deliasmithy I could just eat a crime egg, mmm. No chocolates in the house unfortunately, and it's snowing outside so I dont fancy going out to get any!

Beware of TMI, but I've been having some rather strange stabbing pains down there every now and again when I move. Odd.

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 11:47:24

ive gone mad on kinder eggs atm specially the big ones smile

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 12:48:56

im no longer on the march bus...

just retested with first response, and a more definate + came up. im pregnant!
and just less than 4 weeks after taking my last cerazette pill.

im stunned!! grin with sticky blood and thyroid problems, and a prev mc i was sure this was just a chemical or evap. the internet cheapie line vanished earlier so i thought i was wrong.
so take heart those who have tested with one and got bfn... two days ago at 12dpo there wasnt a scrap of a line.. it could be you next wink
im not leaving the ttc threads just yet, ill miss you too much smile

<flings around as much baby dust about as is humanely possible>

Feel like af is on the way. sad Should be here some time next week anyway, but the cow generally refuses to stick to any timetables or calendars. Oh well, no point getting all upset,...although I know I will be when she actually arrives. Off to write job application now.

Nothing to report here. Not holding my breath either as I'm very grumpy which is normally a sign af Is thinking of appearing plus got the next blood test when I come on so not expecting to get pregnant now after all this time.

Fingers crossed for anyone else waiting to test.

Bajas Sat 23-Feb-13 17:14:29

Can I just squeak onto this bus? Can't do the list as on phone.

Bajas ttc #1 cycle 6 bfp due 30th march.

After 3rd v long cycle af has sort of arrived. I am seeing doc on tues and hoping he won't tell me it's start of peri menopause (possible at 38)

Congrats honey and good luck everyone else.

Pixie001 Sat 23-Feb-13 17:28:19

Yeaaaaaahhh honey!! 1st BFP of the march bus! Could you sprinkle some more baby dust pls? Some of these ladies have nicked it whilst I wasn't lookin!
Sorry to see some more familiar faces board from feb bus but we've got this bus nice and warm and toasty for you and plenty of hot water bottles to dish out.

theboob Sat 23-Feb-13 17:37:52

welcome bajas , i hope gp has good news for you
after putting all my info in fetility friend it would seem i'm on cd 42 and af/bfp is due 3rd of march soooo i'm in the 2ww !
symptom spotting like mad
its one of my very good friends baby shower next week , she ttc for 6 years with her ex , she has psos and tried clomid for months , she gave up ttc and one night had unprotected sex with her new partner and bam TWINS !! so if i do get a bfp next week i'll have to keep it a secret haha

Sorelip Sat 23-Feb-13 17:41:08

Congratulations honey that's wonderful! Sprinkle some of that magic over here, will you?

Had ewcm today so managed to dtd. Funny thing, I got confused and nearly missed shagging week by confusing cycle days with days of the month, i.e. thought shagging needed to start on CD 18 instead of 18th Feb. Thankfully we'd been dtd anyway!

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 18:16:36

<runs back to rub dust and +vibes on everyone>
ill be checking back daily looking for due date buddies wink sooo hope you ladies get your bfps soon, u really kept me sane the last few days. im really counting my blessings, as infertility and health problems are running notoriusly in my family.

ive told my sis to up her dose of aspirin, her clotting problem is so bad. she cut her leg accidently the other day and it clotted immediately hardly bled at all shock shes been on 75mg daily i told her to try 150mg daily see if that helps. feel so guilty shes ever so desperate for a baby has been ttc for yearssad

DogandBeth Sat 23-Feb-13 19:53:01

Congratulations to honey, the best way to fall off the bus.

Pops78 Sat 23-Feb-13 20:16:15

Gosh sorry for silence from here as you have all been chatting and I have been watching. I have been DTD and my DD's 3rd birthday party (not together) Including Princess Castle cake made by me which i was rather proud of ;-) Now all over I have to get on here and ask you ladies if I am going crazy or may be experiencing ridiculously early symptoms, convincing myself I have just got a urine infection from DTD sorry for TMI. I am only just starting 2 WW but have had diarrhoea last 2 days and now thats gone all day (during party!!) strong cramps like my period not due till 5th at least! Also sore boobs and really gone off alcohol and food. Am I insane or is there any chance these are symptoms of pg???

Pops78 Sat 23-Feb-13 20:18:32

Oh honey just saw your news after posting huge congrats to you :-)

honey86 Sat 23-Feb-13 22:21:08

thanks hun, caseloads of fx xx

BeQuicksieorBeDead Sun 24-Feb-13 00:35:52

honey what fantastic news! Brilliant.

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 08:39:27

pops sore boobs was my very first symptom. it just started off as the odd twinge/tingle. now it burrrnsssshock also i was waking up at 3am to pee. and i kept dreaming about baby stuff. had a vivid dream that my sis (the one whos struggling) was preg, and i had a go at her for talking about babies so much grin

x fx x

Pops78 Sun 24-Feb-13 10:04:57

Lol honey. Am I right in thinking you mentioned thyroid issues, is it underactive because I am on thyroxine and when I started that made my boobs so sore so also thought that could be reason. Bad acid indigestion this morning hope all these symptoms aren't psychosomatic because I want a baby so bad. No dreams yet though x

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 10:14:10

oh poo i meant im at risk of them and they are notoriously running in my family.. my aunt has overactive (she eats tons but is skeletal) and my mum and sister have underactive with clotting probs. my sis is on aspirin and thyroxin. she has conceived a few times but miscarried each time cos of sticky blood.
i got abit worried cos my cycles were irregular and ive really slapped weight on so ive been taking kelp extract daily and baby aspirin cos kelp is meant to help regulate thyroid hormones. tho im not sure if its safe to take with thyroxin or not x x

barebranches Sun 24-Feb-13 10:36:31

hi guys
opinions... i dtd monday but was to poorly the rest of the week. ovulated friday according to my app. DTD this morning... do you think its enough? i really hope so... so pissed off that i was ill this week. angry

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 10:57:22

hhmmmthere might be a chance hun. no matter how much we try n pinpoint ov, its never 100% certain. you cudve ov'd the day after the app predicted. masses of fx x x

dondon33 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:14:55

Good afternoon ladies smile

I'm feeling this isn't my month- I'm starting to get pre-menstrual cramps and feelings like AF is imminent..... Trying to stay positive - it's not over til it's over (until the witch arrives) smile
How freaky is this -
Got a message last night out of the blue from a cousin I've not spoken to for ages....it said
Alright cuz, bit of a random question for you - are you pregnant?
He'd seen a psychic last week who told him - your eldest cousin, who you've not seen in a long time, is pregnant.
I'm his eldest cousin shock smile

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:18:12

ooomg don massive fx then wink x

dondon33 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:19:18

I'm with ya honey that's my opinion too, plus so much more but I'll refrain as we're on a family website smile
It's her kids I feel sorry for.

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:20:07

thats what a woman on her twitter page told her lol x

PistachioTruffle Sun 24-Feb-13 14:20:40

Oh for goodness sake, didn't Katie price only meet her husband 3 months ago?!

dondon that's a little spooky, I wonder if he's right!

I've been experiencing stabbing pains in my cervix area....of course I couldn't help googling blush

dondon33 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:21:32

Oops x posted with you honey smile
Thanks hun x

gillian1986 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:25:28

ooooohhh my god dondon thats spooky! I love stuff like that!!!!! Hopefully the psychic is right! If you arent feeling it this month then maybe march is the month you will conceive! How exciting!!

Ahhhh that makes me want to see a psychic but im too scared!

ahh i saw the news about katie price this morning. really dislike her. she only married that guy a month ago after telling the world she wouldnt marry again! and now shes pregnant? arrgh.

dondon33 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:25:57

I'm wondering too pistachio we'll soon find out I've got 2/3 days to wait tick tock tick tock smile

PistachioTruffle Sun 24-Feb-13 14:30:13

When are you testing dondon?

honey86 Sun 24-Feb-13 14:38:18

ooohh ill be hovering around this thread looking for the result smile masses of baby dust to u x

chocoloulou33 Sun 24-Feb-13 16:30:23

Meant to say congrats to honey xx
dondon I believe in stuff like that, let's hope its true! X
7dpo here. Draaaaging! X

padster75 Sun 24-Feb-13 16:48:19

dondon I am a big believer in it too, so fingers crossed for you. My Mum (who doesn't know I am TTC is going to visit one either this week or next ...... what's the betting I could be getting an interesting phone call).

As for that tramp Ms Price, well there just aren't enough derogatory words in my vocabulary to start .............

FF playing silly buggers with me again this month, I think I ov last Sunday, it says it hasn't got a Scooby Doo.

Ooh dondon will be interesting to see if the psychic gets it right!
I dunno what's going on with me. Got pain on one side now so to sure if I'm ovulating late or if its pre af pain like last month. Doing the deed tonight just in case but not holding my breath this month anyway.

dondon33 Sun 24-Feb-13 19:05:12

I hope so gillian I love it too, I've been told more than once I'll have twins!! so far I haven't so rather nervous for the next time.
Even if af comes I'll still be on march bus with you guys grin

pistachio I'm going to test if af doesn't arrive by 1st march

padster Haha! your mum will be like 'you'll never guess what.....' I hope they say something - positivity is welcome from anywhere but when it's seen from t'other side makes it a bit more exciting.
I was gob smacked last night - even if I'm not now pg, they know I'm soon hopefully going to be. It still amazes me what/how they know - I've seen too many good ones that have been spot on to doubt it.
Also been told more than once, that I have the ability but must stop being afraid of my 'gift' and let it in hmm no thanks! smile

Good luck to all, fx for everyone x

Hi guys, congrats honey.
I think I'm ovulating (yay). So basically half way through my first cycle. This has to be the longest month ( plus all this DTD is exhausting). FX it works first go cos I'm tired already.

BeQuicksieorBeDead Sun 24-Feb-13 21:26:45

dondon how spooky! I really hope the psychic was right.

I was thinking the same thing about Katie Price but then read an interview where she was saying how scared she is about the pregnancy as she has miscarried before. Then I felt really shite for thinking such horrid things about her! She does appear to do very daft things, but then the papers love to make her seem even more daft don't they. I am glad no one goes through my bins then writes articles about it! I would have been sectioned by now!

Well I am thinking about putting a really large deposit down on a wedding dress, so hopefully that means that I will immediately get pg and not have a hope in hell of getting in to it come December! wink

MotherOfCleo Sun 24-Feb-13 21:30:37

ohhh interesting don! FX they know something you dont (yet).

Sorry for tmi but i checked my cervix his morning and it was solid, like a rock, never felt it like that before. hmm
But then this arvo I had a streak of red, not like spotting like a streak of red skin.....very odd.

I hope its a good sign but I am beyond getting my hopes up.....I just get upset when I dare to believe. I really wanted to be pregnant by the time I turn 30 which is in 20 days so this is my last chance to achieve that aim. blush

Pixie001 Sun 24-Feb-13 21:54:37

cleo that does sound strange..it's crap not being able to identify what causes these kinda things but not having spotting has got to be a good thing for you. cant advise at all on cervix...i'm afraid i simply dont know what i'm doing on that front...!
gillian sorry af got you but glad you get to stay on the bus
ninja do you use opks at all?
dondon i'm a bit hmm bout those kinda things but have to admit that's pretty wierd!
quicksie i think you're right...put a deposit down and it'll be bound to happen! but you cant put life off for what ifs...sometimes we just have to go with what we know
pistachio what have we said about stepping away from google.... tut tut wink
can't believe we have 6 potential bfps coming up enf feb/1 march!!! not long to wait til some more poas action on board this bus...whoop whoop grin

Pixie001 Sun 24-Feb-13 22:00:24

choc how was last weigh-in? i am an official weight loss failure. dont know what's wrong with me but norovirus seems to have been the only kinda diet that's worked! anyone know where i can get some more germs from?
science girl ttc time is officially half speed of normal time...dont know why they dont teach you it in schools but it's true.

Pixie001 Sun 24-Feb-13 22:25:51

updated passenger list in date order...have realised it's 9 passengers that'll be poas very soon! exciting times ahead!

Wow there's lots of us on the bus! I've still got 8 loooooong slooooow days left till poas! I check my app about 5 times a day just incase I might have mis counted! Think I'm going a bit 2ww crazy! I've got belly ache tonight too, not sure if its linked to the fact I just are a whole massive box of chocolate fingers though confused xx

chocoloulou33 Sun 24-Feb-13 23:05:38

cleo fx that's implantation bleeding! When ru gonna poas? I'm only 7dpo so won't do it til end of week! Maybe friday!
pixie my weight loss is slowing right down now but that could be the easter eggs!!! I've lost 12lbs altogether. OH doing brilliantly & has lost just over 2 stone!
So who's poas this week then? We need some more bfp's! X

PistachioTruffle Sun 24-Feb-13 23:16:01

Me! AF due between tues and thurs, but might try poas tomorrow. The last couple of months I haven't and have just waited for AF to show up, but I'm feeling impatient this month! I'm on day 33, and last months AF turned up on day 33, so who knows!

MotherOfCleo Sun 24-Feb-13 23:25:14

hey choc going to wait till Thursday or at least try to my OH goes to Canada on Friday for 10 days so i'll either send him off with good news or bad.

deliasmithy Mon 25-Feb-13 01:04:21

I keep missing too much of this thread to join in conversations.
I did see congrats are in order to Honey!

Going over baby announcements etc, I'm ok with most, the one that I would pin on my dart board and go spare about would be my bro/sil. I feel angry even just imagining it!

honey86 Mon 25-Feb-13 06:54:57

thanks hun smile

having anxiety issues suddenly and its disturbing my sleep. had a horrible dream that i caught my dp cheating confused and cos of my hormones i suspect, my dreams are alot more vivid and it feels so real... so i feel a little tearful today blushsad

MotherOfCleo Mon 25-Feb-13 07:41:57

padster75 Mon 25-Feb-13 07:48:16

Holy Shit Cleo!! That is the most brilliant news to kick of another week!! You go girl ....... grin

MotherOfCleo Mon 25-Feb-13 07:54:30

cheers padster im not getting too excited just yet as im not due on till Thursday. BUT it is a definite line, I have it on the windowsill an can see both lines without picking it up, plus it passed the OH test, he can see it without squinting, standing on one leg etc. Eeeek FX grin

Ariel21 Mon 25-Feb-13 08:19:45

I've been away due to AF related dispondencey and when i return what do I see, 2 BFPs! Honey and MotherofCleo Congrats! Fx and happy days!

Whoop whoop motherofcleo, congrats!

Pixie I didn't this month as I've only ever had one positive whenever I've used them but I might try again next month as I'm so confused now. I think I do normally get pain before af now so it could just be that.

PistachioTruffle Mon 25-Feb-13 08:35:27

Congratulations cleo! Wonderful news!

I POAS this morning. BFN. I know I shouldn't have, as now I feel wretched sad

SpanishLady Mon 25-Feb-13 08:58:16

many congratulations motherofcleo - how wonderful - 2 bfps and we arent even IN March yet!!!!!

MotherOfCleo Mon 25-Feb-13 09:09:51

Thanks ladies! I don't quite believe it yet. My OH said he wont believe it till the line is darker, I did explain to him that 'a line is a line' lol.

It was funny though, me walking in saying 'I think my test is positive' first thing this morning certainly woke him up pretty quickly....ooops.

Pixie001 Mon 25-Feb-13 09:19:24

Cleo congratuuuuuuuuulaaaaaatioooooons! Woo!!! You've made my miserable monday a happier place grin. Knew you wouldn't last til thurs! At least you can send oh to canada with some amazing news. Hope all goes well for you.

chocoloulou33 Mon 25-Feb-13 09:38:42

MotherOfCleo Mon 25-Feb-13 09:47:47
