Hiya!

Grab a seat.

Gin and tea available.

padster75 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:11:38

You and I must have had the same thought at the same time!! Where's the other bit?

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:11:46

Ill have a tea, one sugar please :-)

JollyJock Sun 11-Nov-12 22:13:32

Part 1 is still there, padster. Or I can still see it. They can only be 1000 posts long though.

I can't post the big list of names as I am on my phone.

<passes round tea and cake>

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:14:20

Oooh cake... Lovely jubbly

weechops Sun 11-Nov-12 22:15:04

Just marking my place < pops self down on seat near the back and hands round malteasers share bag>

JollyJock Sun 11-Nov-12 22:17:04

I actually have no idea how long my cycle should be as I've been on hormonal contraception pretty much constantly for 10 years. I'm guessing longer than 28 days, but I hear that cycle length can change after pregnancy so I don't know. I'm also BFing which could affect my cycles too!

JollyJock Sun 11-Nov-12 22:18:31

Malteasers, wow, thanks weechops! Dh came hone with a bag of m&ms the other day. I was very excited until I discovered they were peanut ones. Hmmf.

I had a big Mac today. It was amazing.

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:29:29

I feel as though I should contribute to the travel snacks.

Pringles anyone?

Cortana Sun 11-Nov-12 22:30:45

Hello, can I hop on half way?

12 months ttc and into yet another ttw. CD 22 and I threw up all over the kitchen today. grin Fingers ever so tightly crossed.

Hoping to see some BFP's, if not from me would love to share the joy iyswim. Three friends had babies recently and I've enjoyed seeing it turn out well for others. Gives me hope, so here I am.

<pops kettle on> Milk? Sugar?

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:31:37

Shall we wrote our stats to be comply and pasted into one.

Was gonna attempt it but lots have for BFPs or AF since last one.

Ill start :-)

JollyJock Sun 11-Nov-12 22:36:49

JollyJock - cycle 1 - bfp due 14/11

Had 11/11 on the other thread but I'm going to hold off testing until Wed. this is clearly fantasy and I will likely poas as soon as I get my hands on a hpt

Aquarius1 Sun 11-Nov-12 22:59:20

Evening all. Mines a window seat- need some distraction from the remainder of 2ww- currently cd27 of average cycle of 30 days- have an instinct it'll be a short journey for me before joining the Xmas bfp bus soon...

Passengers aboard

Haylebop12 - cycle 5 since mmc - BFP due 20/11
JollyJock - cycle 1 - bfp due 14/11
Aquarius - cycle 7 - bfp due 14/11 ish

I have just ordered a huge bag of IC after reading the POAS thread. I always say I'll hold off until I'm late then rush out and spend a tenner on a CB in excitement. No more. If I'm gonna pee on stuff it's not going to be expensive stuff anymore, new life rule right there!

Cortana Sun 11-Nov-12 23:02:20

X Post Aquarius, you can have a window seat, I get travel sick when I look out of the window anyway. grin

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 23:05:15

cortana I quickly realised ICs were the way forward. 50 ovu and 15 pg tests for £10!! I can POAS everytime now grin

Cortana Sun 11-Nov-12 23:10:52

I just got 30 IC for £1.50 plus postage. We don't use the ovu kits anymore. We know I'm ovulating and we DTD most days anyway. We're trying to ignore the whole thing to be honest before we give in and go for tests. But, I had a little mid month bleed, I threw up in a bin in town yesterday and barfed on the kitchen floor today. grin

I am now so excited that this may be our month and if it's not I will need some happy news from others to see me through.

I love a good POAS. It's becoming an expensive hobby, Faberge Eggs would have been a more financially sensible route.

Aquarius1 Sun 11-Nov-12 23:13:25

I'm totally the other way cortana- if I can't see out the window I get queasy. Bizarre.

Passengers aboard

Haylebop12 - cycle 5 since mmc - BFP due 20/11
JollyJock - cycle 1 - bfp due 14/11
Cortana - cycle 13 - bfp due 18/11
Aquarius - cycle 7 - bfp due 14/11 ish

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 23:13:29

Bargain! Tbh I haven't used OPKs this month as to calm my obsession.

Your symptoms sound promising!

I don't know whether I really have sore boobs or its all the prodding and squeezing to see if they are tender hmm

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 23:14:46

Passengers aboard

Haylebop12 - cycle 5 - BFP due 20/11
JollyJock - cycle 1 - bfp due 14/11
Cortana - cycle 13 - bfp due 18/11
Aquarius - cycle 7 - bfp due 14/11 ish

Cortana Sun 11-Nov-12 23:20:49

Yes Hayley, I know what you mean. Seriously, do our norks ache from poking or do we poke because they ache? One of life's little mysteries.

Anything in addition to sore/over-poked boobs?

Symptoms are promising however could make any disappointment much worse. I keep telling myself if it is it is, if not, wine and cheese for me when AF comes.

<Buddies up with Aquarius for travel>

Haylebop12 Sun 11-Nov-12 23:29:58

No more symptoms except few sharp pains just above pelvis when turning over in bed at dpo2. Not quite sure what they are however. Currently 5dpo,

Add me in, only on CD3 of cycle 4. TTC#1.

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 00:00:05

Just making a bum groove but feel like poo so going to sleep. Could one of you lovelies add me to the list please? Cycle 2 bfp due 9-nov xx thnku

Dexidoo Mon 12-Nov-12 06:59:45

I'm still here too!

Dexi cycle 5 post mc BFP due 17th Nov

Not sure I can wait until Saturday to test though now! I'm getting a bit excited as I am now 11dpo and the last few cycles I've had a rubbishy short LP of around 10 days. I have the standard sore nipples (again probably due to poking) but not much else in the way of symptoms.

I get my progesterone result today and if it confirms I ov'd when I think I did I may just do a FRER tomorrow. grin

sparkle101 Mon 12-Nov-12 07:11:10

Chookford nnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm gutted for you sad
So sorry to hear that.

padster75 Mon 12-Nov-12 09:05:24

It's looking like my body has been lulling me into a false sense of security, symptoms all disappeared over the weekend, and this morning things are very ominous for AF, in fact I think she's arrived just is a bit shy think she knows I am not farking impressed. So the lesson learned is 7 days late could be the norm. I would have been very surprised had I have caught first month of trying and bought a lottery ticket, especially after it not being long since I came off the pill. So here's to another crack at the whip.

FX to everyone on 2ww

chookford Mon 12-Nov-12 09:08:36

thanks Taking the only upside is that my cycles appear to have sorted themselves out! I will wait at the bus stop with the onther lovely ladies and hope that Dec brings some much needed good news... I hope I dont see you on the next bus (in the nicest way possible... I am rooting for your bfp this month!!) x

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 09:17:03

Morning ladies. So sorry to see some of you have af, wine for all of you. Xxx
Well I did my other cbd thismorning and got my bfp, 1-2 weeks which means I was probably right about ov'ing a few days after af.
If its ok with all of you though ill hang about for a bit? I have coffee and a big biscuit barrell?
Xxx

wavesandsneezes Mon 12-Nov-12 09:20:36

Hi everyone....waveandsmiles is STILL poorly so remaining wavesandsneezes for now, although it is more like waveslethargicallyfromthesofawhilstclutchingkleenexandcoughing But that is a bit too long a name!

So sorry to hear about the BFNs - thinking that is how our November wait will turn out too though, given I have been sick and therefore not DTD nearly enough sad

I won't pass around any travel snacks as I wouldn't want to share these horrid germs, but I have much lemsip and beechams in my bag if anyone else feels a bit poorly

Congrats tinkypeet!

chookford Mon 12-Nov-12 09:27:05

Tinkypeet woohooo!! congrats that is grear news!!!

TakingTheStairs Mon 12-Nov-12 09:27:21

TinkyPeet Congratulations! OV a few days after AF? wow, that was early.
My OV is going to be late cycle this month, so fingers crossed it's not too late to take hold.

Padster sorry to hear the witch has got you.

Chookford you're a pet, thank you. Please do still come on the bus for chats.

Gingerpanther27 Mon 12-Nov-12 09:29:17

Congrats tinkypeet xxx how is everyone this morning? My Internet has been playing up so I've just been lurking on my phone which doesn't seem to comprehend when I want to post something stupid phone passes round the bag of wine gums xxx

weechops Mon 12-Nov-12 09:48:49

tinkypeet congratulations! smile

chookford so sorry the evil witch got you. Fingers crossed for a lovely xmas bfp instead smile

cd10 today so gearing up for an epic bonkathon while I have dh home with me!

JellyCurls Mon 12-Nov-12 10:27:04

Found you all again. <waves hello while plonking down on seat and checking hair to make sure rains not made it curly again>

Congrats to tinkypeet and sorry to those af has got.

Cycle day 32 and 12 dpo for me. No symptoms to report at all unless no symptoms is a symptom <ponders this new idea and likes it>

Hope everybody on the new shiny bus is well x

chookford Mon 12-Nov-12 10:28:17

of course I will Taking I will still be keeping an eye on everyone on this bus... right I have the jaffa cakes out and the kettle on... who wants what?

Weechops thank you... I will have to try harder next month! Fx that this month is your month wear your dh out!!!! grin

TakingTheStairs Mon 12-Nov-12 10:50:31

Earl Grey for me please chookford
Yayay for your DH being home weechops

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 11:00:20

Ooo chook I could go for a cuppa, dunno what I fancy tho? Maybe a Horlicks for when the electricians bugger off so I can have a poorly nap before begging docs to see dd lol

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 12:09:57

Congrats tinky hoping my side paid at 2dpo is a symptom!!

weechops glad to hear you can get in with dtd this cycle.

jelly when are you testing?

Sorry about the evil witch arriving. Did she not know its rude to turn up without an invite?!

Nothing much to report but had done weird twitching this morning just above my pelvis. Like when you get a trapped nerve?
Still having a good feel for sore boobies but at around 5dpo I reckon I'm clutching as straws!

padster75 Mon 12-Nov-12 12:27:43

Please can I have a Teapig tea ........ <goes and sits somewhere near the back muttering about bloody hormones>

chookford Mon 12-Nov-12 12:42:33

here you go ladies <passes eveyone the drinks they ordered> fx for all those who are due to test soon and really sorry for all those who have had bfn or have had the witch bitch show up (myself incuded!) booooo bloody booooo!!!

Dexidoo Mon 12-Nov-12 13:31:31

<greatfully takes a big decaf latte from chookford>

What a flipping miserable day out there. Got my day 21 progesterone back and it was 40 so it is looking good that I ov'd when I thought ( and now know that those stabby pelvic pains were doing something)

Anyone else up for testing tomorrow??

Cortana Mon 12-Nov-12 13:44:22

Just checking in on my phone. Congrats Tinky!

Boo and hiss to AF arriving for some. <Offers gin>

IC's arrive tomorrow so will see if I have the willpower not to just pee on them all. [Smile]

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 13:47:18

Ooohdexi are you testing tomorrow?

I love a live POAS thread!

Dexidoo Mon 12-Nov-12 14:02:45

I think so Hayle it will be CD25 and 11DPO so hoping that a FRER will give me a definite yay or nay

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 14:06:49

Thanks lovelies smile
Fx for everyone testing!! Xx
Electricians have finally buggered off after a long job of fitting smoke alarms since 8 thismorning (but I suppose them waking me up made me take ds to school when I wasn't gonna bother, just stay in bed! Haha) and managed to get dd into docs at 3.40 for some antibiotics, poor lamb has another massive abcess on her tuppy, hopefully no surgery this time!
Still feeling very rubbish like there's an elephant sat on my head but I'm still grinning! Lol
Xxxx

Dexidoo Mon 12-Nov-12 14:14:49

Ooh congrats Tinky!! Don't know how I missed your news thanks

Mrskbpw Mon 12-Nov-12 14:17:02

Hello all. Sorry to those who are out for this month. Congrats Tinky.

I'm still on the bus. CD16 for me. I was expecting a positive OPK yesterday but didn't get one - however I did take soy isoflavones this month, which I think can delay ovulation a bit, yes? I've had loads of EWCM this month, which is good.

Hopefully I'll get a positive OPK this afternoon (not least because I'm running out and really don't want to buy some more!).

Dexidoo Mon 12-Nov-12 14:24:10

Mrs I took soy for the first time this month and had lots more EWCM than normal and ov'd 2 days later than usual. Previous 7 days post ovulation prog was 29 but this cycle it was 40 so feeling hopeful it has given things a bit of a boost

sparkle101 Mon 12-Nov-12 17:32:03

Congrats tinky. Can I say I really hoped you got a bfp as your symptoms were spot on and if you turned out not to be I'd have lost total faith in my obsessive symptom spotting!!!!

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 17:41:14

Thanks sparkle smile I also seem to have a huge stinking cold so all I want to do is get in my bed and stay there for a week, glad I only work weekends!! An seeing as I haven't had a cold since early pg with dd I took that as a sign too lol. How are you? Xx

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 17:45:46

Oooh me me me, I have a cold too.

Wow tinky my symptoms are like yours!

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 18:29:51

Ooo hayle will keep everything crossed for you then! When r u due? X

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 18:30:29

I'm sure I've already asked you that today...... :/

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 18:45:25

Haha, I'm going to have a cheeky test on say. I'll be 11dpo. I've got a party Saturday night so I'd like to know. If neg ill have a cheeky glass of vino wink

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 18:46:37

Sat*

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 18:55:35

That's 100% wrong!

My party is Friday and ill be 9dpo.

JellyCurls Mon 12-Nov-12 19:08:17

tinky to save me a trawl through the last bus can you let me know what your symptoms were again

MrsWajs Mon 12-Nov-12 19:19:44

Oooh 3 BFPs since I was last here!!

Jolly I was on the frolickers and April 11 threads and yes I'm from Scotland smile

Like you I also conceived really late in my cycle and didn't get a BFP til CD45 so am not holding my breath for much in the first cycle!

sparkle101 Mon 12-Nov-12 19:24:54

Am good tinky, just getting on with life and planning the next steps!!!

Interesting what everyone is saying about soy making ovulation happen quicker, think that may be why I'm five days early for af. Going to give it a miss next month, am scared of something that can mess the cycle up that much, I know where I am on my 28 days normally, although if I conceive this time the due date will be near enough exactly same as dd. are we having a December bus yet? It's cold in the shelter!!!

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 20:27:05

Hi jelly I have had a lot of heartburn since.....about cd14/15 ish, with some really acid burps lol, had a few pains in my lower left hip area, had a headache for about 3 weeks that's turned out to be a monster cold today, it's like I've got horrendous man flu but with real symptoms lol, slightly queezy sometimes but not alot, since the day af was due I've been dry as a bone 'down there', been thirsty for about a week that nothing can quench.......Erm, did I miss anything? Xx

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 20:28:36

Oh and some really freaky dreams! And backache, but that could have been the 10hr shift lol

JellyCurls Mon 12-Nov-12 20:38:57

Thanks tinky i can match quite a few symptoms heartburn which i never get, stuffy headache and now blocked sinuses, backache... on top of that got weird pressure feeling on top of my pelvic bone. Now just need to be patient till end of week.

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 20:42:42

Eeek! You sound exactly the same as me lol. Huge fx for you!! Xx

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 20:48:28

jelly I'm also full of a cold, have dull ache in pelvis, also has a few twitches.. No heartburn though. Never got it during last pg tho.

Ooh I'm excited grin

How many dpo jelly?

frogchops Mon 12-Nov-12 20:52:10

Woooo congrats tinky......this threads making me want to test!!! Ahhh someone stop me. I'm 9dpo, think I'm gona test at 12. Altho I bet I won't last til then. Anyone else about to test?? Have got Internet cheapies and 2 frers.... How soon will they show? Both of them?

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 20:53:14

I think 4 days before AF due which on 28 day cycle could be 10dpo.

Grannyapple Mon 12-Nov-12 20:55:12

Ooh mrswaj I'm also from Scotland, but now live down south so am a southern bufty as some family members sometimes call me (especially when I moan about the cold back home) grin

tinky I too had a headache & them bit of a cold...when it finished I thought I was about to get AF (when run down I normally get a cold at same time as AF). But boobs kept aching & was a relief at night when I took bra off at night. I too was dry down below, hence why I tested..

frogchops Mon 12-Nov-12 21:04:30

We're you dry for the whole 2ww? I've been very dry since ov but there's some sticky stuff now.
Have joined slimming world....and so far its kinda taking my mind off testing. Oh actually who am I kidding, I just got excited when hayle suggested I could at 10dpo :-/

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 21:07:08

Haha I shall not be held responsible. I have about 10 tests so will be quite fruitful with mine and may cave in by sat!

MrsWajs Mon 12-Nov-12 21:07:33

Haha GrannyApple that made me lol. My brother lives in Cornwall (forces) and is often referred to as a "plastic jock" I think because he actually has an english accent but claims to be from scotland!

Congrats tinky I had the unbearable thirst first time round too, just remembered when I read your post there! Don't appear to have that as yet but pretty sure I am now coming down with a cold, hmmmph sad

On CD 26 now so potentially 6-8 days to go.....

Cortana Mon 12-Nov-12 21:08:43

<hands round lemsip>

Everyone is getting cold and ill! Lots of Vit C for us.

I have a dull full ache at the moment so not sure what's going on, cycle day 23, 9dpo. You'd think having been symptom spotting and watching for signs for a year I'd know my own body by now.

frogchops Mon 12-Nov-12 21:10:33

Ahhh cortana I'm 9dpo too.... When are u testing??

MrsWajs Mon 12-Nov-12 21:10:36

Oh shit, sorry I forgot to say congrats to you too granny how rude!! Congrats thanks

Cortana Mon 12-Nov-12 21:13:52

I'm going to crack when my IC arrive I know it wait until after I'm due AF, Frogchops. Due next Sunday according to fertility friend but my cycles have dropped from 32 on average to 25 for the last few months so not exactly sure. Hoping to wait until next Monday.

Also Congrats to all the new BFP's! <pops non alcoholic champagne>

JellyCurls Mon 12-Nov-12 21:17:35

Am 12 dpo but trying to hold out till friday before testing when af will be late. Have taken up knitting again to take my mind off waiting so far got five hats for local special care unit - feeling a sense of well done tonight

Haylebop12 Mon 12-Nov-12 21:18:59

Wow jelly you have self control.

And a definite well done to your knitting :-)

JollyJock Mon 12-Nov-12 21:20:56

Congratulations BFPs!

I'm cd33, tested tonight and got an unsurprising BFN. Will definitely hold out until Wed morning to test again. If AF doesn't show up first, obviously.

Fingers crossed for you all, sending positive thoughts your way smile

frogchops Mon 12-Nov-12 21:25:40

Oh cortana that's very sensible and patient of you!! I'm not sure ill manage this!!
Have got period like cramps today so in think af might be on its way :-/ have ordered 15 cheapy tests that should be here on wed so I might use my last cheapy test to prow morning. Does anyone know if the cheapies show this early??

TinkyPeet Mon 12-Nov-12 21:36:54

Oh I wish I could have lemsip! Called off at boots n the pharmacist told me paras only boo!! So I've just devoured 4 pints of fresh orange. - and still thirsty, gonna finish watching 999 emergency then off I toddle to bed with a cuppa tea smile

pinkbuttons Mon 12-Nov-12 21:36:59

Oooh its been a busy weekend on here!! Congratulations to the new BFPs!!! How exciting
CD16 here and the 2 week wait is looming have had period like cramps on my left side today v odd and wouldnt normally think anything off it but this TTC malarky is making me crazy who knows just hoping somethings going on in there. I predict a long 2 weeks desperately trying not to symptom spot or POAS
Glad to have other ppl to be rooting for in the meantime

Cortana Mon 12-Nov-12 21:59:37

Also having dull aches Frogchops, you are not alone there. I will try hard to be sensible, doubt it will be achieved. grin

That's a lot of Vit C Tinky, bet you don't get a cold for the next 4 years haha!

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 07:49:08

BFN on FRER this morning and know I'm 11dpo so I'm off the November bus. Gutted sad

frogchops Tue 13-Nov-12 07:55:32

At 11dpo it doesn't nec mean your off it yet surely dexi!

TomDaleysTrunks Tue 13-Nov-12 07:59:01

Still no AF but BFN on Sunday. Probably tested a bit soon. I think AF is due on Friday.

Congrats to all BFPs

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 08:43:45

dexi I did frer on cd26& cd28 and they were both negative but Got bfp on other brands so don't count yourself out yet Hun wait till af due xx

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 09:15:18

Oh my goodness - congrats to all the BFPs over the past few days!! This is a very lucky bus smile

I'm off work for the whole week with tracheitis which proper proper sucks. At the moment I am curled up on the sofa, trying to drink lemsip (yuk) before I go back to bed for more sleep.

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for some more BFPs

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 10:12:05

Thanks for the positive comments- AF due Thurs and the box says 98% accurate 2days before hence the pessimism! I hope I'm wrong.

Day off today so trying to stay occupied- taking the furry baby to the vets for boosters, cleaning & cooking dinner for a friend. Feel like sitting and eating cake but have weigh in at fat club tomorrow so not a wise idea!!

<passes round some lovely balsam tissues for those with sore noses>

Mrskbpw Tue 13-Nov-12 10:14:22

Ooh let's hope this is a lucky bus!

Hope those of you who are feeling rough are better soon.

I had a negative cheapy OPK yesterday, which was my last one in the packet. Forked out for some clearblues on the way to work and got a smiley face this morning. So yes, two days later than I was expecting it - wonder if that's the soy?

Slightly annoyed that we didn't DTD yesterday (husband was in a stinking mood and I didn't want to broach the subject!) but we did on Friday night and Sunday morning. If we manage tonight and tomorrow we should be good.

I'm finding TTC very stressful this time (it's our third). I am desperate for another baby and just want to be pregnant. But I'm also not sure if I can keep it up. It took us nine months first time and six the second. Hopefully this time will be quicker. I'm on cycle 2, btw.

Good luck all. x

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 10:34:32

98% isn't 100% dexi

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 10:56:19

mrs your Sunday morning sesh should cover you until today at least. If not longer so good luck! I'm also finding TTC a bit stressful as this is my second but first planned one! Dd was a bit of a shock. I have however felt calmer this cycle.

When I think that right now I should be 33 weeks this week I come to the conclusion I need to be preg ASAP!!!!!

Congrats to all bfp and fx to all those testing. I'm well behind all of you as only (tmi) just finished having ewcm so we've dtd every eve for past few days so now I'm in the three week wait knowing my cycles two week wait.
Pretty sure I've ovulated as had 3 days of ewcm and got what felt like mild period pain but mostly on one side on sun eve and mon morning. Does that sound like ovulation pain? In fact still feel like I've got mild period pain, does anyone have ideas what that is?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 11:27:04

me too quiet but wasnt sure what it was. Dont usually get it outside of AF so having it around ovulation felt a little strange and hopefully promising to a sticky bean this cycle.

I had cramp like pains low down on my right side and have had very mild cramping. AF a week away mind....

It's weird isn't it? I think I got it last month too but didn't know what it was and didn't dtd around that time so fx for this month. Have no idea when I'm due as cycles have been all over the shop since I came off the pill.

littlestgirlguide Tue 13-Nov-12 11:56:25

Has anyone had day 21 tests?
Rang for my results this morning and the receptionist told me the doctor wanted to discuss my results with me, got to go in the morning.
At my scan, they told me there was a dominant follicle and the day 2 tests were normal. What's going on? Just as I start to think everything's ok, it bashes me back down again!

Plus my cats at the vets with an ulcer on his eyeball and AF is making me feel rubbish!

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 12:09:08

littlest
Progesterone under 21 suggests it is unlikely ovulation has occurred
Progesterone between 21-30 indicates ovulation may have occurred
Progesterone over 30 indicates ovulation has occurred

The values are only valid if the test was taken on 7 DPO
I had a D21 progesterone of 29 a few cycles ago but this cycle it was 40 (first cycle on soy)

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 12:29:49

What is this test? At doctors?

I think it's one of the tests they do after you've been trying a while, possibly to test for ovulation. I'm not sure though but I'm sure so done more knowledgeable will confirm.

chocolateteabag Tue 13-Nov-12 13:10:24

Congratulations Tinky!! thanks

Dexi - I had BFN's with a CBD test on 10DPO and 12DPO, BFN on mroning of 14DPO with a cheapy and then BFP in the evening of 14 DPO with a FRE - so you are still in there.

I'm sure people posted on the last thread that they only got BFP's 1 to 2 weeks late too - HCG hormone is a funny thing.

I am feeling grotty today - aching all over like I'm getting a cold. Took 2 ibruprofen and then had a panic and have realised I possibly shouldn't have so now having a worry and trying not to google.

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 13:10:27

Yes sorry it is one of the hormone blood tests- checks to see if you have ovulated -the ovulation kits you can do at home pick up the pre ovulation surge but can't confirm that it resulted in ovulation.

I have sneaked myself in a couple of times to check what was happening when my cycles went a bit wobbly post mc. One of the perks of working in healthcare wink

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 13:15:12

Thanks chocolate I'm coming round to staying positive and ignoring the box.

After using IC tests for so long I am taking a dislike to the FRER, they are just so clear- shouts out BFN there is no hmmm maybe there is a line !!!

JellyCurls Tue 13-Nov-12 13:39:04

Afternoon everyone. I have a question for the learned ladies of mm, today i have had (tmi alert) some very yellow, almost green cm. Not loads but a little when i wipe. 13dpo today,is this normal?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 13:42:57

jelly I don't know. Anyone?

I'm throwing myself into my dissertation trying not to think that I'm 6dpo and need to test! MNing isn't helping confused

JellyCurls Tue 13-Nov-12 13:56:33

Thanks haylebop i should be working but my mind is elsewhere.

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 13:57:11

I have no personal experience jelly but sure I have read that you can get yellow cm in early pregnancy

Dexidoo Tue 13-Nov-12 13:58:01

I should be cleaning and not wasting my day off!!

Grannyapple Tue 13-Nov-12 14:02:40

jelly I get that too...usu about a week before AF. For me it's almost a sign that ovulation window has been & gone. Normally dry for a few days then get discharge when AF is on its way...

In saying that (& apologies in advance if TMI)..I had a teeny bit of that the day before I got my faint bfp. The reason I tested on Friday is because I felt a bit 'moist' so went to the loo & wiped first & had a kinda clump/what can only be described as what looked like a mucus plug, but kinda like phlegm (boak!). I had this last time when I was 5-6 wks pg....& then had thrush continually throughout last pg. So that's what prompted me to test...that & the sense of relief I felt a few nights earlier when taking my bra off at night! Need to cut down on my sugary snacks this time...don't want to end up with poss early labour at 30 wks like last time...

Sorry...bit of a ramble there...

frogchops Tue 13-Nov-12 14:45:53

So, if I test, should I wait for fmu?

JollyJock Tue 13-Nov-12 14:51:54

frog you will get a more accurate reading earlier with FMU. My First Response says something like "You don't have to use FMU, but FMU will contain higher levels of HCG".

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 14:56:04

i agree with jolly especially if your testing early. or you would have top severly dehydrate yourself to get concentrated urine.

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 14:56:38

jelly (sorry for this) my cm is usually a bit snot-like (oh the joys of being female) so I wouldn't worry about that
Also if your thinking there's a slight line there shine a light behind it, I did this on all of my faint lines and you can see it much clearer, on the first line I got you could only actually see the top and bottom of the line but it helped loads. If you have iPhone get the flashlight app cos it's SO bright, just don't shine it in your eyes first cos can't see ANYTHING then haha!
Someone else mentioned It a while ago so I did it on every stick haha xx

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 14:58:12

Whoops it was dexi that said "hmmm maybe there is a line!!!"
Fx for you all xxxx

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 15:02:42

a line is a line ladies!

frogchops Tue 13-Nov-12 15:20:48

What's the odds of any sort of line on an Internet cheapy at 11dpo?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 15:32:22

i have no idea as this will be my first attempt using them, have always used supermarket own brand. I do however find the OPK ICs very reposonsive. If you have a few then give it a go? but not if you will become disheartened if bfn.

remember, it isnt game over till the witch turns up!

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 15:40:30

I used ICs from about cd20, and nothing showed untill a very faint line on the day af was due, and just because I'm a bit wierd and I used the rest up daily for the sake of it and they got Farley by day, with today's being the last one and almost as dark as the control line but still lighter. But it depends on the person I suppose as frer didn't work at all for me xx

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 15:50:12

Darker, not Farley lol

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 15:55:33

so you started them around 6dpo angie?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 15:55:57

but nothing showed until 14dpo?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:00:11

im presuming you ovu'd around cd14 though blush

frogchops Tue 13-Nov-12 16:17:07

Kick me if i'm being stupid...--I probably am-- but what is an IC??

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:18:00

internet cheapie frog smile

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 16:18:18

Well with all the working out I've been doing I must be an early ov'er, as in with my first Two's dates they were conceived within the first week or so after af left, and last month I didn't fall on but didn't start DTD till my appent fertile days, but this month started on cd 6 as soon as af left, so I'm guessing I ov between cd 8-12, that's when I was getting all the 'signs' of ov this month anyway, was watching out for things to go with my theory lol xx

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:20:57

ah ha, so you were possible 12dpo on your first cheapie smile

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:23:11

im sop curious as I'm so eager to test.

I have no self contol blush

IC OPK used today on CD11 and got a positive! DTD on Sunday evening. Am I still in with a chance if we don;t manage it again till say Friday? How long does the positive last? How long does the baby gravy last??

..and how long will the egg last if i pop one out on say thursday? All guess work as this the first time I used OPK's and I'm on cycle 4. blush

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:37:12

from what ive read, which is a lot since mc!!

an egg lasts 12-24 hours so try and use ewcm as an indication too.

spermies last up to 5 days (max)

Im not sure about positive opks but i think i got + for 3 days but had very little ewcm so unsure if i actually ovd, which is a problem with these. It can show you your lh surge but not if you actually popped one out. (only used them last cycle so not 100% sure on that one)

if you could fit a quickie in on wed maybe just to be on the safe side?

Anyone, please correct me if im wrong smile

Ok I've been reading taking charge of your fertility and it says that ewcm is your body gearing up to ovulate. Sperm can survive for up to 5 days in ewcm. When ewcm disappears then you have ovulated. 34pinklady I would say check for ewcm and dtd as often as you can until that disappears. If you dtd Sunday but there's no ewcm then sperm won't survive long enough if you ovulate today or tomoro. At least that's how I understand it. Good luck!

When's your af due haylebop?

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 16:58:37

oooh quiet i didnt know that about ewcm being present to help swimmers. Although I also read that other boddily fluids help its journey up. (dont have to explain that one do I ladies) grin
I thought that ewcm means you have ovulated so get on it 12-24 hours after....(but it wouldnt still be present then hmm

hoping my dtd was timed right :/

more dull aches in my pelvis

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 17:00:30

20/11. Had some ewcm cd9 (bit early but started dtd) had loads cd15 so made an extra special effort although hoping DH's two beers didnt make his swimmers pissed too grin

grin at pissed swimmers. That's what I've read. I'm assuming I ovulated yesterday or day before as had ewcm on sat, sun and Monday morning and ovulation pain sun eve and mon morning and some af type cramps mildly this morning. We've dtd sat, sun and mon and having a night off tonight.
This is the first month I've been checking ewcm so hoping that it helps as getting a it fed up now of not getting pregnant!

Ewcm means your body's getting ready to ovulate as far as I understand so you'll have a few days of it and then once its gone you've ovulated so you're fertile window has ended. I think.

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 17:11:38

quiet at least if they are pissed they might find their way this month as they havent the last 4 cycles when they have been sober!

We dont dtd everyday as supposidly a build up is good hmm

i can actually remember when we dtd this month but hoping we hit the jackpot on cd15 when i thought (TMI ALERT) id wet myself blush

Sounds good, so fx it ends in a bfp. Only took 3 cycles with ds so I'm really hoping this is our lucky month. Don't want too big an age gap and its just getting bigger and bigger now. Fx for me too grin

Oh and we don't dtd everyday normally but I really wanted to maximise our chances so we went for it. Dh was away from wed til last sat and didn't get home til 9.30pm. I said oh I dunno if I can be arsed dtd this late I'm knackered. Getting ready for bed at 10 ish, checked, found ewcm and went er actually do you mind if we dtd tonight. Dh was like grin

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 17:27:46

haha bet he was! DD was a surprise so never had this, as was my last pregnancy, (first 'normal' cycle since coming off depo)

Shes 4 in february so got no chance of a small gap but I dont mind grin

I'd like them to be close ish together so they can play together. Only planning on 2. Poor ds has a mummy who loses interest very quickly in getting his cars to talk to each other about the same thing over and over.

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 17:33:40

dh would have had another straight away...I dont think so. I felt ready once she was potty trained and more independent.

She will be nearly 5 by the time I pop another, just right for a little helper smile

Good plan. Keep us updated and fx for you this month.

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 19:24:39

Hello!

I'm a newbie, just trying to get my head round the lingo. May I join this bus?

We've been TTC since August, but this is the first month we've paid attention to things like ov, etc. I think I'm 6DPO, and AF is due about 19th/20th. It's like waiting for Christmas! DH keeps knocking on my belly and asking, "is anyine in there?" :-)

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 19:27:59

Welcome chocolate and climb aboard the fertility bus!

You are the same as me with AF due 19/20th :-)

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 19:31:46

Thanks Hayle - good luck to you!

Hi chocolate. <waves>

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 19:34:40

Hi there! <Waves back>

JollyJock Tue 13-Nov-12 19:51:36

There is a thread going on about dishwasher vodka. It sounds amazing. If I don't get a bfp this month I'm making some Christmas pudding rum to console myself.

wavesandsneezes Tue 13-Nov-12 19:57:16

Hi chocolate - I'll be testing around the same time as you as well - think AF is due 21st, but my cycle is about WTF at the moment. DS and DD were total surprises (now 7 and 8) so this is the first time for me and (lovely new) DH trying the "proper" way.

Intrigued about dishwasher vodka - what with the total lack of DTDing due to horrid chest infection I need everything and anything to cheer myself up

nicnicw Tue 13-Nov-12 19:58:39

hey hey found you all !!
got 2 faint lines on 2 different tests !! af would be due friday

any opinions ?

cylce 1 bfp nov 16

JollyJock Tue 13-Nov-12 20:06:18

Woo, congratulations nicnic a line is a line smile

wavesandsneezes Tue 13-Nov-12 20:07:38

How exciting nicnic! Hoping to hear about a darker line tomorrow smile

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 20:08:41

Sounds like good news nicnic. Congratulations!

Haylebop12 Tue 13-Nov-12 20:08:48

Absolutely nicnic a line is a line. Test again Thursday :-)

petal86 Tue 13-Nov-12 20:26:03

Massive congrats nic - this is a very lucky bus - hoping December Bus will be just as lucky! smile

Fx for all other testing passengers this month.

Congrats nicnic

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 20:41:30

Woo nic how fab!! Will be watching for bfp confirmation in't morning!
Welcome chocolates (waves)
Thankyou by the way to everyone that has said congrats an given me thanks over the past couple days, I'm not really so rude I'm just full of lurgy so completely out of it. Much love to you all!!
What we got in the way of treats tonight then? I'm having jacket spud as late tea thanks to football training running an hour longer than they said! Grr! Followed by probably the tub of chocky spread in the cupboard and a spoon! Haha
Xxxx

petal86 Tue 13-Nov-12 20:53:29

Mmmm chocky spread and a spoon! smile My idea of heaven - I had some on toast when i got in from work this eve. Yum smile

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 21:03:54

Hope the lurgy clears up soon Tinky, and woohoo, congrats! Has it sunk in yet?

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 21:06:42

Thanks Hun! No not yet I have my booking in appt next Monday Soave when she sticks me with the needle or the first time I spen a morning hugging the bog will make it real haha -looking at the bright side as usual! Lol xx

TinkyPeet Tue 13-Nov-12 21:08:03

Oh my spelling is atrocious.....I hope you can make sense of my jargon :/ x

chocolatesolveseverything Tue 13-Nov-12 21:26:34

Yeah, I do sometimes wonder why I'm looking forward to going through all that in the future - a totally irrational desire! Well hope the midwife's needle isn't too big :-)

frogchops Tue 13-Nov-12 22:31:35

Sounds like more bfps could be on the way! Anyhow, being as I joined slimming world last week to take my mind off all this crazy testing, weigh in was to ought and I've lost 4lb. Quite pleased with that and I'm hoping to make it to half a stone next week. Altho in hindsight if I test ad get a bfn I'll eat crap to compensate. Plus if I get a bfp I'll eat to celebrate. Slimming world can't really win this week!!

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 00:57:14

Nice on Frog, well done.

Congrats to the new BFP's.

I feel a big "draggy" down there tonight so either I will awake to find AF has arrived or a may pee on an IC (depending on willpower)

Dexidoo Wed 14-Nov-12 07:25:51

Well done frog I rejoined slimming world the week before last and lost 5 pounds in the first week ( but I do have a couple of stone to lose blush ) I fear the second weigh in tonight will not go so well been feeling blue all week (PMT I reckon) and the BFN yesterday triggered a mini biscuit binge.

Dexidoo Wed 14-Nov-12 07:26:32

Any news cortana?

frogchops Wed 14-Nov-12 07:55:46

Yes, what's the news cortana??
Am also tempted to poas this am, just because I'm not feeling any of these symptoms very significantly anymore. Apart from weird dreams which has occurred in the last couple of days.
Dexi that's good in the first week. Lets aim for our 7lb next week! I wouldn't worry about a biscuit binge, I went out for 2 meals with that 4lb and didn't really start the diet till day 4 in the week!

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 07:58:48

Congrats on the weight loss ladies! I used to love slimming world xxx

wavesandsneezes Wed 14-Nov-12 09:25:25

Congrats to everyone on the weight loss grin

Any more POAS results to report?

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 09:42:46

Morning to everyone!

<passes round a brew and some hot buttery toast>

How us everyone?

7dpo today and another pull muscle type pain just above my groin yesterday. Feeling slightly dry <down there>.

TakingTheStairs Wed 14-Nov-12 09:47:49

Morning. Any one for a croissant?

Dexidoo, well done on the weight loss. and frogchops too! You girls can be my motivation. I reached my 7lb loss a month ago and have totally stagnated. thought the non-stop eating and drinking may be something to do with that blush

chocolatesolveseverything welcome to the bus!

Congratulations Nicnicw A line is a line! But in this case, two lines are two lines!

Haylebop, I saw a fertility doc last week and he was telling me that the old thinking used to be not to dtd everyday for the strength of the swimmers, but they now know that isn't the case and every day is fine. We'll all be exhausted! grin

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 09:56:00

*coughsnifflesplutter
Well I can breathe through my nose but its moved to my chest now sad boo!!
So what's everyone doing? Any more bfps?
Xx

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 10:01:23

taking I struggle with the e.o.d as it is. And this TTC business is making it a chore instead of enjoyable. Dh works long shifts and I work 2 jobs and final semester at uni so it's all go go go in this house!

Still feeling positive about this month though. AF 6 days away though so who knows.

Well done on your weightless girls. I'm about 2 stone overweight but since mc I can only focus on getting pg :-(

Any testers today?

JellyCurls Wed 14-Nov-12 10:12:10

Morning ladies, nothing much report from me. 14 dpo today and the witch is due tomorrow but no cramps which is very unusual <keeping fingers crossed she forgets to visit>. All other symptoms could be AF on her way so trying not to dwell. Not POAS yet so if nothing tomorrow I might cave on Friday and POAS.

Was doubled over last night with sharp shooting pains in ovary region and in "lady bits" but thankfully they have stopped.

Hope you are all well, what goodies have we got on the bus today? I can offer round some grapes and bananas but thats rubbish

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 10:28:20

Oooh I shall partake of toast and croissants! Thanks smile

BFN for me this morning, not over till it's over though.

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 10:40:49

Absolutely cortana

Do you not wanna have a cheeky test jelly since AF is due. At 14dpo things could show?

Mrskbpw Wed 14-Nov-12 11:02:08

Ah go on, Jelly. Test!

Husband not in the mood last night - he's a bit under the weather - so I think we've missed our chance this month.

Bit upset, and feeling gloomy, but onwards and upwards. If we hit the spot next month, I'd still have the baby (just!) before I'm 40.

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 11:04:06

Got to keep thinking positive Hayle grin

I felt a poking sensation in my lower abdomen this morning and need to pee a lot, more the urge to wee on tests than actually frequent urination. No real vomming or anything. I keep refreshing Fertility Friend in the hope I'll see a little message saying "Cortana, you are actually upduffed, however we're not meant to say just yet", hasn't happened so far.

JellyCurls Wed 14-Nov-12 11:21:55

Ladies i can't test as am at work and no shops i can walk to to purchase a test also not my week to drive so am stuck here till hometime. Might pee on an IC tomorrow morning for you all though if you insist but if its a bfn you must all promise to be on hand with yummy cakes

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 11:32:36

I'll have a huge choc cake for you!! Will look forward to tomorrow :-)

cortana that made me chuckle!

frogchops Wed 14-Nov-12 12:28:37

Oh my ....jelly how bloody patient are you!!! You deserve a medal for this.
I'll have a croissant please.... I'm sure it won't hurt the morning after weigh in!! Have got pains, but just like af so who knows. I'm convinced she on her way :-/

TakingTheStairs Wed 14-Nov-12 13:25:11

oh frogchops fingers crossed for you <passes extra large croissant>

JellyCurls Wed 14-Nov-12 14:15:31

frogchops not that patient just dont want to be disapointed by a bfn.

Cramping a little since lunch sad so af might be coming after all

Dexidoo Wed 14-Nov-12 14:20:05

Cramps started this morning and now started spotting so it look like I will be off the bus before the day is out.

Grrr. I think there will be wine later

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 14:24:37

<passes a very nice red to Dexi just in case>

If it comes, I'm sorry. But it marks the first day of a new cycle and another chance for your BFP. thanks

JellyCurls Wed 14-Nov-12 14:25:05

Aww dexi boo to af maybe coming but yeah to the wine. Fx its a false alarm

nicnicw Wed 14-Nov-12 14:56:49

took a urine sample in to the doctors today and they told me its negative ! so why did i manage to get 2 faint lines ??? they told me to wait a to wait for my period on friday and if it doesnt come test again ! im sooo confused !
.

nicnicw Wed 14-Nov-12 14:59:22

better take me off the bfp list as i still dont know sad

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 15:04:47

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 15:32:01

Any of our bus graduates had constipation as a symptom?

I'm not but read few months ago (I think) that it was?

Congrats llama & tink!

taking, looking at the stats, those of us on a WTF? cycle have dropped off the bottom.

cortana, grin, even just a message that says 'not this cycle, but def the next' would be great!

wine to everyone who is currently being visited by AF.

It would seem that my cycle hasn't been too badly affected by the mc last month, got a positive OPK today, which is when it was predicted! Hurrah!

MrsWajs Wed 14-Nov-12 16:09:04

Eeeep caved and bought 2 pack of hpt in tesco today!! Still no poas for me yet though. Still at least 4 days to go.

Sorry things are a bit confusing for you nicnic but like others have said i'd wait a bit longer and re-test if still no AF.

Sympathies to those of you who the witch has got.

Haylebop is the bodily fluid you referred to in an earlier post saliva by any chance?? If so i believe it's actually detrimental to ttc - something to do with the ph of it or enzymes or something can destroy sperm?! DP and i made the same mistake quite a few times when ttc DD!!

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 16:15:11

No mrs I was referring to lady juices <boak>

TakingTheStairs Wed 14-Nov-12 16:49:50

Horse I don't know where the names are gone.. and I can't figure out which old list was correct...arrrgggh
Positive OPK though, that's fab! Fx for you.

Do you want to add yourself to the list where you should be?

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 17:05:07

hayle deffo tmi!! But not exactly constipated, just harder to go! Iykwim?! Haha good news about the opks horse

Silver15 Wed 14-Nov-12 17:58:04

Hello ladies,

Can I join the bus? This is cycle 1 after the pill and AF is due on 22-11-12. I have been symptom spotting over the last week. I plan to test on Friday as I can't wait for AF to show up. Can someone please add me onto the list?

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 18:01:14

I did try to be subtle tinky

Welcome silver brew?

pinkbuttons Wed 14-Nov-12 18:06:38

Sorry to hear about confusion nicnic try not to stress, fx BFPs just taking its time.
Welcome Silver sounds like your in v similar situation to me. AF not due till 23/11 but planning to test on Saturday because Im desperate to POAS have a party and would be nice to know Im being sensible for a reason...
Have very sore boobs here today, normally get that before AF anyway but AF not due for another 9 days.
Not convinced any symptoms mean Im pg though, would I have symptoms this early if I was, didnt find out till 7 weeks with DS so cant remember.
Good luck to everyone testing soon, seems to be quite a lucky thread so far and am enjoying hearing about everyones BFP's smile

mumbags Wed 14-Nov-12 18:07:48

Hi everyone! So lovely to hear about all the new BFPs. I left the group having got AF but can't find another one that's as positive so I'm staying! Hope that's ok. I'll just enjoy everyone else's news smile

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 18:08:51

buttons my AF due 20th and wanted to test Friday S I do have a party but at only 9-10dpo I didn't think I'd get a result?

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 18:26:17

Welcome silver and welcome back mum smile (waves)
Lol hayle conversations on here do make me chuckle sometimes hah
Well I'm off to get some Horlicks seen as I can't have lemsip boo!!
Xxx

ifso Wed 14-Nov-12 18:27:30

sooooo

evening all!

TTC#3, third and final baby

basically only been trying since end of October...AF due yesterday. Yes, I have cramps which would indicate AF is on its way.

BUT - have had mega aching boobs for 10 days (never usually have this with PMT), mega sleepy, deep sleeps - nice, and have completely gone awf coffee where normally I crave my morning coffee to see me through the day

also going off booze, 1 glass of red with dinner is plenty

what is going on?

I'm around CD29/30 so it is probably AF, but the other symptoms are weird I read this today and it made lots of sense

pinkbuttons Wed 14-Nov-12 18:29:34

haha welcome back mumbags
hayle im not really expecting BFP think its possible to get one so early but not likely. just thought id check just incase and bought IC on mass so hve plenty to spare. Figured if its BFN can just ignore it anyway and stay positive for another week. smile

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 18:34:26

I have about 10 ICs so I'm so eager!!

ifso your symptoms sound promising and of AF due yesterday then it's all good...

ifso Wed 14-Nov-12 18:38:54

and I just feel...you know... like hibernating. Looking forward to putting the other 2 to bed in 20 mins so I can get into bed myself!

Like you Haylebop, I'm eager to POAS at the weekend or next week if I can hold out until then

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 14-Nov-12 18:52:24

<waves> I've been lurking for a bit after taking a back seat. Af due anytime from tomorrow and have INTENSE craving for salt, never get this with af, crisps yes and chocolate but I can't stand thought of choc ATM and could go and eat contents of my salt pig quite happily... Anyone else ever had this?? Boobs also massive and v sore under armpits but usually get sore boobs so that's no guide. Have also had cramps on/off every day since 6dpo. Am going slowly mad wondering!! Have an efre but scared to use it invade its another bfn sad

Someone give me a slap and tell me all about their hither to undisclosed salt prior to af craving wink

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 19:01:28

<waves> Evening all.

Cramps are creeping in, think the witch will show her face tomorrow.

Hoping to come back tomorrow AM and find loads of BFP's to keep me positive.

mumbags Wed 14-Nov-12 19:30:31

purple - I had major salt cravings and thought it must be a sign but got AF last week. We're all different though!! Don't give up yet xx

Silver15 Wed 14-Nov-12 19:46:45

Thanks Hayle, Tinky and Pink.

I have been having heartburn, feeling tired. Have a Hieghtened sense of smell and muscle cramps. These symptoms are similar to when I had DSs. Fx for all testing soon.

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 19:54:25

Sounds promising silver and ifso xxx

MrsWajs Wed 14-Nov-12 19:54:33

Ahh I was getting confused when I read your post!! Yep obviously "lady juices" are a necessity!! smile

AF arrived for me today sad after a looong 34 day cycle compared to my usual 28/29, about 5 pg tests and lots of false hope I am hopping off the bus and praying that I can get that one last chance of being pregnant before Christmas. Good luck to everybody else. xx

PurpleGeekyGirl Wed 14-Nov-12 20:22:37

ah screw it! tmi alert just been to the loo and tell tale pink cm there AF is on her wicked way, sigh...

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 20:27:08

thanks and wine and brew for over and purple

I am past the point where the cramps could be called niggles. What I need is a hot water bottle and some ibuprofen. Of course I won't, just in case sad.

chocolatesolveseverything Wed 14-Nov-12 21:24:38

Sorry to those who the witch has got. I have to report the following symptoms... absolutely zilch!

Well, I'm pretty tired, but after a 10hr day at work, followed by a quick bag of chips and a flamenco class, that's hardly surprising :-)

TinkyPeet Wed 14-Nov-12 21:57:21

Urgh. I keep getting annoying little niggly pains in my pelvic area, normal? Xx

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 22:01:01

Was for me Tinky, with DS I was on edge so much, no one told me about all the settling in the baby needs to do in the early days.

JollyJock Wed 14-Nov-12 22:12:36

Sorry I haven't read updates from today. cd35 here. BFN. No AF.

I'm getting to the stage that I'd settle for either a BFP or AF because at least then i'd know what's going on!

3peasinapod Wed 14-Nov-12 22:31:23

Hi ladies,
Can I join the waiting game... smile

I'm on CD29 did a pg test this morning and a BFN. So AF should be arriving this weekend!!! angry this will no 4 for us and first month of trying. I'm so not looking forward to the false hope and dreading AF as she rears her head each month. I forgot how addictive TTC can be!

Baby dust to you all **

Haylebop12 Wed 14-Nov-12 22:39:54

Climb aboard 3peas

Hoping the evil one doesn't show up for you smile

Cortana Wed 14-Nov-12 23:18:23

I know the feeling, Jolly. Fx for you.

Hi ThreePeas! Welcome.

JellyCurls Thu 15-Nov-12 06:31:32

Morning ladies I willingly caved to peer pressure this morning and POAS and it was a BFN. AF due today but no signs of her yet which is nusual so not losing all hope yet.

weechops Thu 15-Nov-12 07:07:18

Sorry for the bfn's girls. I'll be collecting my bfn at the end of the month too sad so dh had to go back to the rig today at 5.30 so we didn't even get a quickie in before he left. Cd13 today and feeling pretty down.

JellyCurls Thu 15-Nov-12 07:16:09

<HUGS> for weechops that sucks big time. Hope he gets a last minute trip cancellation and gets sent home. Will i try send some fog up north for you?

Cortana Thu 15-Nov-12 08:06:21

<Hugs> Weechops.

AF due anytime from today to the 18th here. Test was a bfn, feeling crampy but until the old witch actually rocks up fuck it,will take a leaf out of jellys book and keep thinking positive.

Loving this threat btw, don't know how I've managed this long without you all!

stickybeans Thu 15-Nov-12 08:16:52

Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well.

I have my first fertility appointment today. I'm kinda nervous about finding out why I haven't been able to conceive. I'm looking forward to getting the help and hopefully I'll have a baby by this time next year. DH will be going with me. Wish me luck, I will let you know the verdict.

padster75 Thu 15-Nov-12 08:35:57

Morning all, having a lurk while I wait for the cycle to click round sulk about having af visiting

Congrats to those BFPs!

Unlucky to those like me who got a BFN & some evil cow visit way too bloody late for her own good ......... meh

Back to work as I am still working on a commission that needs to be finished by tomorrow. Will pop back as and when as you are a delightful bunch of ladies xx

TakingTheStairs Thu 15-Nov-12 08:45:19

Starte to feel a bit queezy today, lovely.
On my way to the icing shop as making another princess castle cake tomorrow, shall I smuggle a few extra blocks of icing on the bus? What colour does everyone want?
Xx

TakingTheStairs Thu 15-Nov-12 09:23:40

yellow icing for me please. I want to make some daisies smile

MrsWajs Thu 15-Nov-12 09:35:20

CD 29 today, needed to get up for a pee in the night last night hmm

nicnicw Thu 15-Nov-12 09:43:27

couldnt help myself did the other cheap test that was in my cupboard this morning confused got another faint but definetly there pink line definetly not my imagination and it appeared within 3 minutes so i dont think its an evaporation line cos your meant to wait 5 mins before the result !! af due tomorrow fx it doesnt come !! SURELY i couoldnt keep getting faint lines and nothing comes of it can i ??? could the doctors negative test be wrong ???? thinking if af doesnt come by monday i will splurge on a cbd

wavesandsneezes Thu 15-Nov-12 09:43:53

I baked flapjacks and chocolate cake in my bored state yesterday, so passing that around with brew.

Hope you all enjoy!

welcome to all the new passengers and welcome back mumbags <waves>

Finally managed to pull together a work report that was due today, so now I officially have nothing to do but lie around and get better. Hoping that our bath is going to get plumbed in tonight - cannot wait for a decent soak. Showers just don't have the same way of making you feel better when poorly.

Anyway, let's will along some more BFPs, and for those with BFNs or visits from the witch, here is hoping for some positives as early christmas pressies smile

<choc> for all those who's been got by the witch. Nicnic I'd get a cbd if af doesn't come. I think the tests the docs have are just normal tests so if they're not as sensitive as the ic then it's possible it wouldn't show up this early. Fx all goes well.
I am thoroughly fed up with the tww already and I'm only a few days in. I've already got my hopes up with no reason whatsoever and I know I'm gonna be horribly disappointed when if af turns up at the end of the month. Aargh.. Someone knock some sense into me. How do I not get my hopes up?

MrsWajs Thu 15-Nov-12 10:08:42

I'm pretty sure the dr's test must have had a lesser sensitivity than the tests that you are using Nic? Only thing that can explain you getting positives and them getting a negative. Sounds hopeful tho smile Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for chocolate cake waves ideal for a Thursday morning breakfast smile

TakingTheStairs Thu 15-Nov-12 10:15:55

Nic You can get a false negative, but a false (proper) positive doesn't happen.. eeek. Exciting!!!

weechops Thu 15-Nov-12 11:15:20

jelly too late for fog as he is en route to the rig just now sad But maybe some sort of huge power cut tomorrow that means they all get evacuated? smile

tinkypeet starfishing is the one nice thing about sleeping on my own smile And not listening to dh snoring of course.

taking thanks for the tea, lovely. I'm going to dunk my kitkat in it now yum.

Since this month is effectively a writeoff for me, I'll just be lurking in the background ready with my pompoms to cheer on all the other bfp's smile

TakingTheStairs Thu 15-Nov-12 11:35:21

Oooh weechops a kit kat is a good call smile

JellyCurls Thu 15-Nov-12 11:40:34

Hey weechops will see what i can do for you. Not sure my magic power can reach the north sea but i will try my best.

Wondering though if having to perform and dtd on time in order to maintain the countries population is enough of a civic duty for him to be excused for a week???. I am sure his colleagues will understand

tiggerishtom Thu 15-Nov-12 12:12:57

Well I tested this morning and got a BFN. sad But no sign of AF yet, which means I'm so far on CD32.

I only had my implant taken out in the middle of Oct, and I had really long cycles from what I can remember, all those moons ago before I was on contraception.

So really, I should have expected this, but I let myself hope a little too much! hmm

I have given myself a strong talking to; it is only our first cycle of TTC, and it proves I still don't know how long my cycles are, so no idea when I ovulate.

Yet ridiculously I feel a little down about it. Which is even more ridiculous and selfish knowing what other on here have gone through, and are going through. blush

chocolatesolveseverything Thu 15-Nov-12 12:37:16

(hugs) tigger, it's natural to feed fed up, excited, and everything in between.

I've had slight cramps all morning but AF not due til next week. At 8DPO it'd be bang on time for implantation, but could just mean that the witch is coming early so am a mixture of hope and fear!

wavesandsneezes Thu 15-Nov-12 12:38:01

hi tiggerish I was in a similar position to you last month, first cycle TTC after coil out. My cycle ended up being 42 days and I also felt the disappointment of the BFNs, despite it being cycle 1 etc. Kind of hoping for a more normal cycle this time, but, like you, I kind of remember having really long cycles before I had the coil. So, assuming I am back to a 30 ish day cycle, I should be testing on 21 November, but will try to hold off a bit longer.

Hopefully though, you are just on a longer cycle, so there is still a chance for a BFP for you

tiggerishtom Thu 15-Nov-12 13:30:49

Thanks Chocolatesolves and Waves, it is amazing how much better I feel being able to share, I wouldn't talk to anyone in RL about it. thanks

Fingers crossed for you both!!

JellyCurls Thu 15-Nov-12 14:19:24

Oh learned mumsnet ladies while i should be sitting here working i am thinking about ttc related things and have a question that will most probably change my dpo. When we get ewcm, how many days after that would ov be?

I think that you ovulate on the day before ewcm disappears. I think. And I believe it normally lasts a few days. So dtd as much as poss while you have it cos when it's gone then so your window. Not 100% sure that's right but its something like that.

Cortana Thu 15-Nov-12 14:50:13

Mine tends to change the day after. Jelly, but my ov date is based on signs rather than testing for ov so I could be wrong.

A "hypothetical" question that's driving me nuts. If say one POAS, and the control line was there and clear, but the dye seemed a bit smudgey and there was another ever so very very very faint line, would you dismiss the test due to the smudge-factor?

TakingTheStairs Thu 15-Nov-12 14:55:37

Hi tiggerish I was the exact same as you during month 1, it is very exciting when you're hoping and wishing, and it's very disappointing if things don't go to plan. You don't have to justify how you're feeling compared to how long some of us have been trying, we all understand and no one person's disappointment or excitement is any more less valid than any one else's.

I really hope you get a BFP this month, but if you don't we'll all hold your hand while you have a little weep <hugs>

Silver15 Thu 15-Nov-12 15:16:29

Thanks Taking and Welcome aboard 3peas.

Sorry for those who have got bfns and AF.

I have been so busy at work this morning which helped keep my mind off symptom spotting. A vacancy has come up at work for someone to act up. Been secretly wishing that an opportunity came up for months till recently when I decided to TTC. My colleagues think I could do good but none is aware of my baby making plans.

Haylebop12 Thu 15-Nov-12 16:44:24

dilver I had the same problem. Mc in June, in July I was offered promotion which means company would be spending a lot on training. I have been TTC since mc and gathered I wouldn't get pg trailer away so went for it :-)

Will catch up properly later as I'm at work ATM :-) someone have me a brew ready at 9:15 please!

Haylebop12 Thu 15-Nov-12 16:53:16

silver* straight not trailer!

Haylebop12 Thu 15-Nov-12 16:56:06

chocolate I've had cramps too. Intriguing!

chocolatesolveseverything Thu 15-Nov-12 17:28:33

FX for us both then hayle! Mine are less now, but still very slightly there. I rarely get cramps for AF, and even if so, it's usually while on rather than beforehand.

But of course I may be reading wayyyyy too much into this:-)

Haylebop12 Thu 15-Nov-12 18:43:38

Same here chocolate. I noticed last cycle I tend to start cramping 24 hours before buy I'm also 8dpo so AF not due till Tuesday.

pinkbuttons Thu 15-Nov-12 19:08:34

taking your lovely post just nearly made me cry. over emotional or just this crazy all the time hmm either way it was lovely.

this symptom spotting is not doing me any good. cramps have gone now and feel like im.just waiting.

Also injured my back last night by sneezing and holding DS , desperate for stronger painkillers and anti inflammatorys but worried about what if... does anyone know if would affect any potential baby so early on? only 7dpo. Seems crazy that for first 7 weeks with DS I had no idea he existed yet now I may not even be pregnant and am worrying about a possible very awaited baby.

Silver15 Thu 15-Nov-12 20:18:28

Thanks Hayle, I will definitely consider it. Pink I was previously advised to take ibuprofen when pg with my ds2 and nothing stronger.

Anyone testing tomorrow? I know it's a bit early for me but will still give it a try.

Cortana Thu 15-Nov-12 22:14:46

"You don't have to justify how you're feeling compared to how long some of us have been trying, we all understand and no one person's disappointment or excitement is any more less valid than any one else's."

Agree with this, so much.

Silver, I'd go for the job if you want it. I will be testing again tomorrow if the witch stays away. Fx for you.

nicnicw Thu 15-Nov-12 22:24:25

thanks girlies xxx for the positive vibes xxx feeling a lot calmer ... i think i have accepted what will be will be if af does come over the weekend not the end of the world on cycle one my partner wont complain haveing more funn trying lol but fx if af doesnt arrive and i finally get a definitive answer ..... 3peasinapod Fri 16-Nov-12 05:46:12

Have an awful feeling AF is on her way!

Does any of you get pain when you ovulate?? I have been getting pains on one side each month, so for the last 2 months I have used an opk to figure if it was ovulation and got positive opks each time. This month we bd a day after the pain started, so this month I think I will try and bd on the day that I get the pain. Would love to know if any of you get ovulation pain and if so when do u bd during this?? Mine can be quiet painful and sometimes bd would be the last thing on my mind..

JellyCurls Fri 16-Nov-12 07:08:04

Morning 3peas i think pain around ov is common. I get really sharp pains that take my breath away sometimes and since ttc this time i realise i cramp afterwards too. We just try and dtd as often as possible around those dates as not sure when ov actually occurs.

pinkbuttons Fri 16-Nov-12 07:29:02

nicnic your post sounds v positive and sensible will definitely have to try and remember that nxt week when am waiting for AF.
3peas i also get ovulation pains we have been dtd eod the week before am expecting ov just incase and then everyday for a few days while have the pain. only my first month TTC though so not sure if this is working yet.
fx for everyone testing today. i will be testing tomorrow but not rly expecting a true result just need to POAS

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 07:48:14

Morning everyone, did a IC test this morning.... Bfn
Surely at 13dpo it would show by now?? :-/
Af like pains didnt happen yday at all so thought she might've , well, fucked off tbh, lol.
Maybe she is on her way after all :-/

JellyCurls Fri 16-Nov-12 08:07:42

Frog maybe the IC are not that sensitive, remember it ain't over till AF arrives.

About 15dpo for me, AF due yesterday on cycle day 35 but she was, thankfully, a no show smile This morning when i got up i was really aware of my boobies, they feel sore and full. Felt really dizzy in shower too. Holding off POAS till Sunday though as dont want another bfn.

Good luck to this mornings testers, am off to hide so the witch can't find me

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 08:33:53

jelly sounds very promising for you!
frog the ICs aren't very sensitive so stay positive it's not over till she rears her ugly head xxx

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 08:54:19

<sits in the same boat with Jelly>

BFN here again, but no AF. TMI alert my nipples are massive I have some changes which could be a positive sign or a sign of AF.

Agreed Tinky, not over till the witch arrives. How are you this morning Tinky? Are you feeling better.

<crosses fingers for everyone testing this morning>

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 09:16:42

I'm not so bad thanks Hun, getting over the horrendous cold but the sickness is threatening to arrive soon! Had to decide whether or not to go throw up before the school run, but thankfully I was fine and didn't chuck lol. Fx for anyone testing xx

TakingTheStairs Fri 16-Nov-12 09:17:41

Morning all. I'm super tired this morning so I'm having toast and jam for the sugar boost (bad I know). Would anybody like a piece?

Thanks pinkbuttons blush

Fx for those of you testing. and remember it ain't over until the witchy woman arrives smile

JellyCurls Fri 16-Nov-12 09:32:02

When are you due cortana?

tiggerishtom Fri 16-Nov-12 10:33:59

Thanks for everyones lovely and kind words!

AF arrived this morning so I am definitely off the bussad, wine tonight.

I will lurk about to see how everyone else gets on if that ok?

Fingers crossed for you all!

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 10:39:37

Ah the toilet hugging stage, Tinky, you'll be offered a million remedies once that gets going. I found tea and peanut butter sandwiches helped but everyone is different.

I'm due anytime from yesterday till the 18th Jelly. My cycles can change by 5 days easily. No witch yet, I have been crampy for days now though.

Was the water hot in the shower when you felt dizzy? When I had DS I went over in anything more than lukewarm early on, could be a good sign. Fx for you, and for everyone smile

TakingTheStairs Fri 16-Nov-12 10:42:18

Tiggerish, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Plenty of wine and paté for you this weekend. It's not ideal, but now you can start to watch the patterns of your cycle and figure out what's going on with your body too.
Next month will be your month, I just know it <hugs>

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 10:45:43

X-Post

<hugs> Tiggerish I think some lovely wine is needed for this evening.

Sometimes the first cycle of TTC is the hardest in that you've got all the hope and excitement fresh in your mind. Be good to yourself today darling. <hugs>

Try and think along the lines of this is the first day of a brand new cycle for you. Not the end of something. Another chance for your BFP starts today. thanks

tiggerishtom Fri 16-Nov-12 10:51:59

Yes Taking that's exactly how I am looking at it, and thanks for the hugs.

Being really positive and a am pleased that a least my cycle wasn't too long either, I could have gone on a mammoth 45+ days like I used to in my younger years.

So actually strangely relieved this morning to get AF because that its was only 33 days..... I am keen to get started again! grin

Good luck for everyone testing soon!

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 10:52:54

Sorry to hear it tiggerish stay strong Hun enjoy yourself this weekend so you can jump back on it next week xxx

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 10:53:30

N thanks cortana not allowed peanuts but I do like tea smile xx

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 10:54:02

-allergy btw not upduffness x

JellyCurls Fri 16-Nov-12 11:36:36

Are you allowed peanuts if you got a bun in the oven?

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 11:54:35

Gosh I hope so, that was the only thing that stopped me from vomiting. I ate peanut butter ever day with DS but he is 8 now and the advice may have changed. He turned out fine, but perhaps best to check if you are baking a bun.

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 12:43:32

hey tiggerish you get to enjoy yourself for next few days with food and drink .. but hey you get to have some more hory time in a couple of weeks !!! you could always treat yourself to some new sexy undies for fun or get your hair done !! all positive things to think about in my book !! if at first you dont succeed try try again !! but i think you should treat yourself and if the DH ask say nic nic said so .. pamper yourself and enjoy ! it always makes me feel good about myself onwards and upwards honey !!

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 12:49:04

SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH due af today but no sign of her ! touch wood !! went out and bought a double pack of cbd on offer 12 pound at tesco ! not tried one though im a bit to frightened of jinxing it and wasting a an expensive test lol mmm trying to wait i did think test on monday if no signs im trying to at least hold out till tomorrow lol

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 12:55:42

Oooooh fx nic!!
Yeah ur allowed peanuts if baking a bun now, changed guidelines a while back x

JellyCurls Fri 16-Nov-12 13:21:34

Fx nic come and hide with me and cortana she sill not found us yet. sssshhhhh dont tell her where we are

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 13:26:13

<hides>

I want to scream either come get me so I can get on with next month or stop contracting my uterus! I won't though. I think shouting at my womb might be more than the usual ttc madness.

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 13:28:46

TO TEST OR NOT TO TEST THAT IS THE QUESTION !! yes i do think TTC sends you a bit loopy

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 13:29:45

i didnt care if i got a negative off the cheap tests lol but if i get one off a cbd it seems so final lol

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 13:36:06

I hate CBD. £13 to piss on a stick! I wouldn't piss on their MD if he was on fire. angry

I went a bit loopy the first 5 months then managed to calm down and almost not think about it. We seem to be back to full on loopy here at the moment though.

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 13:56:28

let that anger outcortana lol got double pack for 12 quid so 6 pound each not babd really sale at tesco

TakingTheStairs Fri 16-Nov-12 14:00:32

cortana you're so funny grin

nicnicw Wait until tomorrow morning when the hormones will be at their strongest.... then come on here and update us all with the news of your BFP!!

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 14:21:56

heres hoping bloody silly pink lines been doing my head in !!! alls i want to know is can i have a vodka and coke this weekend and a rare steak !!!lol

Silver15 Fri 16-Nov-12 14:35:21

I'm off to tesco to get some tests. Will try not to test tonite but definitely tomorrow morning. Can't wait for AF next week .

Silver15 Fri 16-Nov-12 14:39:54

Nic I understand what yo going through. I have a bottle of Gin in the house. I tested a drop last week and it relieved the urge. Then watched the news next morning advising complete abstinence.

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 14:53:11

silver oops i saw that .. lowers iQ i dont think it matters with me anyway i dont have high standards im not bothered about my child joining mensa lol

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 15:11:15

Haha. I'm chuckling away at contracting uterus's, rare steaks and hiding from witches.
Completely agree with being ok with bfns on ic's.... Am scared to use my FRER cos it will seem so final. :-/ had two for 7 at tesco.
Af due tomorrow so while you're hiding, make sure the hiding place is big enough to fit me too'!

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 15:30:06

Ds has built a den of epic proportions in his room out of 10 large cardboard boxes and the cabin space under his bed. It has a control panel and lasers (which we can use to shoot the witch). We can all hide there. It's a bit gritty as I can't hoover and I haven't the heart to take it down.

I am going to make fun plans for when AF comes and focus on them rather than being gutted.

I will:
Shove brie and pate into my face.
Get smashed with DP
Spend a lot of time in the Den with DS eating chocolate and playing rough tickle fights
Eat a steak so rare a good vet could bring it back.

nicnicw Fri 16-Nov-12 15:40:00

thats my girl !!! cortana

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 15:44:13

I reckon it's bollocks Silver, I know they'll have accounted for controllable variables, but unless they've followed the parents round since birth there will be uncontrollable variables that haven't been taken into account and probably are the cause of the 1.8 IQ point difference. I mean imagine when your child is aged 8 being asked how long your child spends doing wonderful nurturing activities rather than sitting on Minecraft eating a Twix? <looks at DS> I reckon a few porkies from the parents will account for the results.

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 16:18:11

It's all bollocks if u ask me!! With ds I smoked, granted I cut down but still... And had the of glass of wine etc and he's the smartest boy in his class and was counting and READING at 2........dd has just gone 2 and can count to ten....I stopped smoking with her but was a bitch all way thru and put on over 6 stone had occasional mouthful of wine too....hasn't done them any harm.
I am still smoking, not many tho and as soon as sickness kicks in I probably won't even be able to look at a fag lol. And come Xmas I will be having a glass of wine. It's not like I'm going out dancing and getting trolled!....as I've seen some vile creatures doing at 8-9 months!!
Xx

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 16:19:42

Not the dancing....I do like to have a wiggle....oh you know what I mean lol x

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 16:50:18

Yes yes yes cortana. I'm in there!! High five.

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 17:05:53

<hugs entire thread>

I had started to think that this would be the month it all got too much and I cracked and turned into a crazy woman. Well I may be crazy, but at least I'm laughing!

<wiggles with Tinky>

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 17:37:59

Oh god I think I'm actually mental.
After crying for ages last night at nothing, absolutely nothing..... I just cried again for ages about, nothing, well, apart from having no chicken and having to use turkey for the tea.
DP thinks I'm crazy and altho v supportive, I bet he's fed up of mopping my ridiculous tears!! I just feel so ready to burst with a complete emotional meltdown!! Wats bloody wrong with me!! Cake is needed.

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 17:38:58

I even feel sad that I'm not up for wigglin!! Now that's bad

TinkyPeet Fri 16-Nov-12 18:02:22

frog I made a princess castle cake today and have lots of brownie cake, buttercream and icing left over if you want it? Xx

chocolatesolveseverything Fri 16-Nov-12 18:14:13

Oh can I join in the madness? I've been feeling mental too today. Either I'm pg, or AF is teasing me badly... and it's likely to be the latter unfortunately.

After 24 hours of slight cramps, they ended this morning and I got some spotting which looked just like the start of AF. So me and DH were bitterly disappointed, not least because it would mean my cycle was only 22 days long. (I'm usually short, but not that short!)

But since 7am I've had no further sign of AF. Sometimes the witch teases me by starting off, stopping, and continuing a while later. But of course in my head I'm going 'IB?', 'IB?' like a crazy woman. Ended up POAS this evening because I'm being driven demented because DH is taking me out tonight and I want some wine. BFN of course sad

mumbags Fri 16-Nov-12 18:34:15

chocolate it might be IB!! Is about the right time and if it is there's no way you'd get a BFP yet. You'd need at least another 6 days. Don't give up! Xxx

chocolatesolveseverything Fri 16-Nov-12 18:43:09

Thanks Mumbags. DH looked so happy this evening when he heard there was still a chance!

mumbags Fri 16-Nov-12 18:47:11

Good that he's so sympathetic though. Mine wants another one but isn't nearly as bothered as I am that it's taking ages. Really winds me up!! X

chocolatesolveseverything Fri 16-Nov-12 19:00:01

Ah, well I guess their part seems so easy!

Hey guys. I really hope those who are wondering if they're pregnant figure it out soon. I'm sooo grumpy right now and I'm only a few days after ovulation so god knows how I'm gonna hack the rest of this waiting. I hate it. I just want to be pregnant.
My friend asked me today whether we were thinking of having another one. I just had to say yeh kinda thinking about. She said oh don't leave it too long cos of the age gap, I know she meant well but Grrr I know that!

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 21:41:33

<hugs> Frog could be hormones or the stress of it? Do you want to come eat cake in the fort? All welcome! Bet I can even get you wigglin with me and Tinky, this week DS taught me Gangnam style. I am obviously uber-cool now.

Fx it's IB Chocolate, hope you're out somewhere lovely with DH right now!

Could it be he's acting not bothered Mumsbags? DP is wonderful and supportive, but sometimes he does need time where it is not talked about. Suppose he hasn't got the amazing support of MN behind him. Not something you chat about with your mates over a pint either. I feel sorry for him sometimes. sad

Hi Quiet. Fx you'll get your BFP at the end of the month (30th for you?). I used to just keep repeating "well meaning friends are well meaning." (If sometimes a little crass) wink Smile and Nod. You'll get that BFP soon!

I'll be thinking of you all when I piss in my special piss cup tomorrow morning.

Thanks cortana. Fx for you tomoro morning. Not entirely sure when I'm due on as cycles all over shop but hopefully end of the month will be about right.

Cortana Fri 16-Nov-12 23:05:15

Ah wankbadgers. Witch bloody found me. Feeling calm about it all. Waiting for dp to come to bed and ill let him know. Leave him to enjoy his evening a bit longer ay? Wouldn't mind if I wasn't retching out of the car window today. Natures a bitch sometimes.

Obviously the cake den is still open to all those still crossing fingers for a bfp. My fingers are crossed so tightly for you all. Ill lurk a while longer if that's ok before the next bus comes.

Bring on my new cycle!

chocolatesolveseverything Fri 16-Nov-12 23:10:41

Bummer Cortana! FX December'll be your lucky month. (But thanks for the biscuit tin.)

frogchops Fri 16-Nov-12 23:50:41

Oh cortana we were hiding so well!! What a massive bag of wank. Good that you're positive tho, I'll need some of those vibes when she finds me! Have realised that all of my symptoms have gone away so I think I made them up or imagined them! She's due tonight and is usually on time. Well see!!

TinkyPeet Sat 17-Nov-12 02:38:03

Oh cortana so sorry Hun sad that sucks, well at least you can enjoy your weekend with a nice bottle of plonk smile xx
Just in from work and I'm absolutely shattered, but at least I don't have to lift the heavy glass trays out of the washer anymore smile so that's a bonus
Night all xxxx

nicnicw Sat 17-Nov-12 07:39:14

good morning ladies x guess what ??? I got my BF P last night yay !!! I'm on the bus to stay touch wood . used cbd got pregnant 1-2 weeks .
cortana sorry about the witch! bloody pain !

Cortana Sat 17-Nov-12 08:38:22

Nicnic That's brilliant. Whoop! BFP!

Fx for the everyone who's obviously having a lovely Saturday lie in smile.

Now, I do believe I promised myself wine and soft cheeses. grin

Cortana Sat 17-Nov-12 08:39:03

Also thanks for the kind words. xx

nicnicw Sat 17-Nov-12 08:54:08

your welcome honey x x not quite sunk in yet . my partner is doing my head in he's so excited he's bouncing off the walls !! all I want to do it chill out lol . I'm anxious about what I tell my ex husband and when . been divorced for 2 years so technically none of his business but I still think he will spit his dummy out . and I hope he doesn't fill my dd head full of crap . thank god he lives on the other side of country and she only sees him once a month weekend and every school holiday . he was not happy when I met my dp so this will be a barrel of laughs . I wouldn't mind but we split in 2009 and me and my partner only been together a year . but its what we want we not getting any younger and my dd loves him and he loves her . and she well looked after bordering on spoilt . so really he shouldn't complain . but I know him too well when I got with my partner my ex asked me why was I doing this to him ?? did he expect my life to stop ?

nicnicw Sat 17-Nov-12 08:57:01

also what was IDOING to him ?? living life after . did he expect me to become an old cat lady ?? any advice ?? could do with my head getting a wobble so I don't worry till January !

chocolatesolveseverything Sat 17-Nov-12 09:05:47

Sounds like he's a nightmare nicnic, but you're right that you don't need his permission to have a life. You enjoy your pregnancy (whoop!) and try not to worry. After all, you have no control over, and no way of knowing how he'll feel about it. So he's just going to have to deal with that himself. Not your responsibility!

I'm sorry cortana!
Congrats to nicnic though! Don't worry about your ex, how he reacts is nothing to do with you. You don't even have to tell him until you're further on as it is exactly none of his business!

nicnicw Sat 17-Nov-12 09:18:18

yep that my mantra for the next 8 weeks NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY . his life won't change he will still see dd as normal and he doesn't give me maintainence anyway . thanx for the reminder !! x x

JellyCurls Sat 17-Nov-12 09:45:43

Hooray for nicnic huge congrats

cortana so sorry that the witch got you have a few alcoholic drinks tonight x

Am off to find a new hiding place, cycle day 37 (allegedly 17dpo) for me and no bfp, caved and tested this morning, but no af either. Still feel dizzy and yuck and tmi but i checked my cervix and its well and truly closed and high out the road so its not over for me yet.

Haylebop12 Sat 17-Nov-12 09:56:33

Just dropping in briefly. On my phone so difficult to include everyone in this reply as cant see what's going on!

Sorry to those who the witch found, she can be a right cow!

Congrats nicnic you seem more confident now and so you should. Your ex will probably give you shit but it really is nothing to do with him. Hit take it on the chin... Easier said then done!

Sorry for your bfn jelly but like uou same game isn't over!

I'm not 3 days away from AF desperate to test but can't face a bfn just now. DH and I are working loads, hardly seeing dd who is pteactically living with my mum n dad this week. On top of TTC, finishing uni, finishing dissertation and working we have been told that the landlord is moving back in so at the end of our contract we need to move out. Cue house hunt! I love this house so slightly gutted but onwards an upwards.

Feel like my heads gonna explode.

nicnicw Sat 17-Nov-12 09:59:32

thank you for the good vibes x x I'm soo tired this morning though lol body must be working hard .

cortana what's your plans for tonight ?? walking on the wild side ??bubble bath hot as you like ? vodka ?I'm loving celebrity at the mo I sat eating my tea last night watching them starving on tv . I had no remorse at all lol

frogchops Sat 17-Nov-12 10:02:18

hooray nicnic, this is great news!!!

Im regretting saying all my symptoms of af had gone cos now theyre back, cramping and windy! blush......right on cue on her due day! ....bitch.
its imminent i know it is, and at 14dpo (have tested -bfn.) i think i might be off this bus.
On a positive note, (theres one somewhere) this is my first cycle after 5 years worth of pill...so to go back to a textbook cycle is good. sighs and psychologically prepares for another month of shagging

TinkyPeet Sat 17-Nov-12 10:16:58

Woop woop nicnic!!!
My advice on the xp would be dont tell him. Hopefully your dd will be very excited and tell him (sorry dont know age?) and if he's any sort of daddy he won't squash her excitement and will just have to deal with it by himself while you relax and enjoy yourself xx

pinkbuttons Sat 17-Nov-12 10:26:02

sorry to hear AF arrived cortana. fx for next month! hope youve got some lovely treats for this weekend including wine and gooey cheese.
congratulationsnicnic amazing news, as everyone else has said you dont need to worry about your ex this is an exciting time for you and ur DP just enjoy it. and worry about him later.
Sorry to hear life is so hectic hayle im also studying at the moment due to graduate in May and find that hard enough without having to work and move as well.
I did a stupidly early test this morning at 10dpo. BFN of course but still quite glad I did it. feel a bit more realistic about it as have been desperately trying to not get my hopes up and failing horrendously any symptoms I thought I had hve gone apart from crying throughout childrn in need last night (but that really was upsetting) F x to anyone else testing this weekend. im going to try and hold out now till next weekend if AF doesnt find me before then...

TakingTheStairs Sat 17-Nov-12 11:10:08

frogchops Sorry to hear symptoms are back. Silly witch!

TakingTheStairs Sat 17-Nov-12 11:11:33

Nicnicw WOOOOOO
delighted for you. Now we can put you back on the BFP list... and stick fingers up at your doc that gave you a negative result! grin

Silver15 Sat 17-Nov-12 11:13:49

Hello Ladies,

I got my BFP this morning on a FRER. The news still sinking in.

Cortana sorry to hear the witch got you.

Congs Nic.

Fx for all still waiting. I send you some baby dust.

chocolatesolveseverything Sat 17-Nov-12 11:47:24

Congratulations Silver - woohoo!

mumbags Sat 17-Nov-12 11:58:39

Sorry to hear that cortana and jolly sad lots of yummy things to eat and drink this weekend though! Are you trying again next month? I'll be on the December bus.

Huge congrats to nicnic and silver!! Great start to the weekend grin and nicnic your ex is a grown up (in theory!) and not your responsibility so don't worry about him! Hopefully he'll be happy at least for your DD who I bet will love having a baby brother or sister!

mumbags Sat 17-Nov-12 11:59:35

Also I think I use too many of these --> !!!!

Silver15 Sat 17-Nov-12 12:08:49

Thanks Tinky, Jolly, Chocolate and Mumbags.

Jolly sorry to hear that.

JellyCurls Sat 17-Nov-12 12:18:37

Congrats silver this certainly is a lucky bus.

mumbags am not off the bus yet just sort of hanging about in limbo with no af symptoms and no bfp either confused. Last month had a 42 day cycle so will not be testing again until after that day, only another 5 days to wait

Congrats silver and commiserations jolly.
Fingers crossed still for everyone still waiting.

mumbags Sat 17-Nov-12 13:46:19

jelly I meant jolly wink keeping my fingers crossed for you though. Even worse when you've got such a long cycle and you have to wait so long...

Haylebop12 Sat 17-Nov-12 15:27:54

Game over... AF arrived 3 days early!!!

Humph

JellyCurls Sat 17-Nov-12 15:36:08

Sorry * hayle* she really is an evil witch.

mumbags you said jolly i just misread it.

Am sitting here completely down in the dumps and fed up with the whole thing. Prior to cp in August i was a regular 32 days will things ever go back to normal?

Haylebop12 Sat 17-Nov-12 15:40:33

jelly I feel the same. After mc it took 2 cycles to get back to normal. Last two have been 28 days and now this one 24!!

Cortana Sat 17-Nov-12 16:11:12

Hello ladies.

Sorry hayle and jock. Hugs and wine for you both.

Sorry for not name checking, on phone so scrolling up is a pain.

No idea what the witch is doing but she appears to be a bit shy today. Tmi but just a couple of little bleeds then nothing. Bitch is such a tease. Laying off the booze and cheese until she makes a proper appearence jst in case. Nothing like that last shred of hope.

Cortana Sat 17-Nov-12 16:13:24

sorry silver, congrats to you thanks x

weechops Sat 17-Nov-12 16:35:18

silver and nicnic congratulations! <waves pompoms madly>

cortana and hayle so sorry the evil witch found you.

I'm hanging around in limbo, thinking of hopping on the December bus, but maybe just waiting til af rears her ugly head. I like this bus! <stomps foot>

mumbags Sat 17-Nov-12 16:53:32

hayle sorry to hear that sad look forward to celebrating a BFP with you on the December bus xx

Silver15 Sat 17-Nov-12 17:24:59

Thanks Jelly, Ninja (love the name), Cortana and Weechops.

Hayle sorry to hear that AF showed up. Fx you'll get BFP soon.

Ladies I will lurk around to cheer you on. You are such a lovely bunch.

setayharas Sat 17-Nov-12 17:45:54

Heyy!! Anymore stops that I am able to jump on at??

On cycle1 af due 23/11

Had amazing back pain and nausea and every other normal af pain. Going a bit stir crazy and poas everyday lol dp is driving me just as made as he questions me everytime get an ache! Need a lil distraction.

Hi setay. I'm due towards end of month so ill be here til the bitter end I think so plenty of stops left.
I've been with 2 of my pregnant friends today which has been lovely as feeling baby kicks and talking babies but my god I'd love to have a bit of a cry now. Can't as dh has 2 of his friends back so have to sit here and be all polite and I realised after one of them went to the loo that my opks were sitting on the side, aargh!

JellyCurls Sat 17-Nov-12 19:14:33

Hi setay welcome on board. Think i am going to be on the bus for a while yet so feel free to come and hide from the evil witch with me

Ok I have a question. I peed on an opk half hour ago and there was a line but not darker than the control line and yesterday and this morning I thought I had ewcm which is weird cos I thought I'd already ovulated. So could it mean that there's LH in my wee or does it to not mean anything if there's a line but its not darker than the control one? It's just I've had some mild cramps still so wondered if its possible that I didn't ovulate at beginning of week and. Could be ovulating now? I'm so confused.

setayharas Sat 17-Nov-12 19:52:44

Ahh friends with babies as much as you want to be happy there's always the bitter taste to it that u wish u didn't feel. Go chop an onion then u can blame the tears on that!

Iv got a feeling that af might catch me early this month sooo I'll just hide under the seats if that's ok

Thanks setay. Don't give up hope til af appears. I'm here too, just waiting...and waiting...

weechops Sat 17-Nov-12 21:21:39

Ninja the test line has to be as dark as, or darker than the control line. There's always a wee bit of lh in your system which is why there is still a line - the opk line gets darker at the surge. Hope that helps smile oh and ewcm round about now is a great sign, so get bonking!

Cheers weechops. Will dtd and see how it goes.

Cortana Sat 17-Nov-12 22:21:11

Ok. Home now (thank god!). AF is still being shy. Just spotting rather than full on. There is still hope and I shall cling to it like a badger with...something badgers like a lot.

Nicnic your DP sounds wonderful. smile. Ex needs to get a huge bag of grip. (Plans this evening are TMI verging on disgusting, hourly bathroom checks basically.) <Saturday night party emotion>

<Waves> at Setay, welcome. Fx for you and I can you cannot find a lovelier, more supportive bunch of women anywhere on MN. Friends with babies can be a test, especially if you've been on the buses for a while so to speak. <hugs>

Ninja, I've read everywhere that if there's EWCM you should be off having a good old shag. grin

I was cortana wink blush
Keeping fingers and toes crossed that af fucks off again and you're upduffed.

frogchops Sun 18-Nov-12 08:40:57

She still isn't here. I felt like yday was the day....obv not.
Feel silly testing again though, I just wish shed either hurry up or send something that shows bfp!!

I've felt like that frogchops. It's like you're in limbo. I don't know what to suggest. brew

frogchops Sun 18-Nov-12 08:50:56

It's crap. I just wana get on with the shagging!! Lol

TakingTheStairs Sun 18-Nov-12 09:06:22

Congrats silver Woo Hoo

Ok just did another opk and it looks like a positive (I've never had a positive opk before but might have been doing them at the wrong time) so guessing that I didn't ovulate last mon/tue and am actually gonna ovulate this mon/tue? I had really bad ovulation pain though or what I thought was ovulation pain? Like period pain, so what could have caused that? Could my body have attempted ovulation but not actually ovulated and now I am going to? Why did it hurt if I didn't ovulate?
If I do t ovulate til tomoro then I'm gonna have another long cycle aren't I?

Sorry so many questions.. This is the first month I've really paid attention to ewcm and other signs of ovulation and all its done is confuse me!

JellyCurls Sun 18-Nov-12 09:16:03

cortana how's things this morning?

frogchops am in limbo hell too. Three days late, tested yesterday and bfn. Refuse to pee on any more money, even if only IC i used. Lots of either way symptoms so annoying. Wish you could get a way of knowing before those pee sticks tell you

JellyCurls Sun 18-Nov-12 09:18:23

Cross post ninja i dont use opks so can't help but if you are ov now then it will be at least another 14 days before you could test (i think)

Think you're right jelly. Means it'll be December before I can test. sad

chocolatesolveseverything Sun 18-Nov-12 11:07:20

Morning,

I was at a friend's baby shower/party last night and it was sooo lovely! <Hands round left over cakes>

Well, since that pale spotting on Friday morning (and the weird cramping all day Thurs), there's no sign of AF so I'm pretty hopeful to be honest! It sounds a bit crazy, but I feel 'different' at the moment. Every now and again I get slight discomfort in the area of my uterus - not exactly cramping, but definitely a similar sensation. It's not painful, just odd. Don't ever remember experiencing such strange symptoms before.

I woke up during Fri night feeling dizzy and nauseous, but that could've been because I stuffed myself at the restaurant with DH beforehand Felt fine last night. I'm also peeing a lot - but that's not unusual for me. Sleep hasn't been great - but then again I'm awful excited!

Day 24 of cycle today. I'm usually shorter than average so AF is due between now and Tues I think. Will try POAS first thing tomorrow. FX!

Fx chocolate! <grabs some cake>

TinkyPeet Sun 18-Nov-12 11:41:48

Ooooh cake! Don't mind if I do! Om smile x

setayharas Sun 18-Nov-12 12:10:07

Ohh iv just had icecream for breakfast so I'll have some cake too!

Went and poas again today bfn

Loosing hope drastically as all normal af pains are here

Seem to have caught a cold aswell as feeling run down and have really vivid strange dreams and not sleeping.

Dog jumped up and sniffed my belly today I actually asked dp if he thought he could sense I was pregnant haha I'm defiantly Insane!

Just get this bus to drop me at the mental home please!

Oh bless setay. They do say animals can sense things that we can't ie cats who know their owner has cancer etc so not out of the realm of possibility <goes off to buy a dog> <joins setay in mental home>
Got another positive opk so will prob dtd tonight and tomoro and until i Get a negative one I suppose. Was so sure I ovulated last week as it really hurt and ewcm etc. not any ewcm at the mo so not sure what's going on. Am not pleased that my tww has suddenly become 3 week wait.

TinkyPeet Sun 18-Nov-12 12:51:29

Dogs are very strange! Last week my dog wouldn't sit on my knee she jumped on dh and glared at me like I'd eaten her last cookie or something she looked really upset with me. Little weirdo, she's back to being fine with me now but won't be when she gets kicked laying on me lol x

Silver15 Sun 18-Nov-12 13:48:13

Thanks Taking.

Chocolate your symptoms sound like what I have been having with the exception of spotting and I got my BFP. So I would encourage you to poas. Also heard that some people can have AF when pg.

chocolatesolveseverything Sun 18-Nov-12 15:49:46

Silver thanks for your encouragement. thanks

Inspired by your post I threw caution to the wind and did a cheeky POAS. BFP!!!!!!

Very happy smile

chocolatesolveseverything Sun 18-Nov-12 15:53:30

TakingTheStairs Sun 18-Nov-12 20:15:59

chocolate that's amazing news!!! And I love that the due date looks like your wedding anniversary thanks
Holy shit girls.. That's three BFPs this weekend. This is for sure a lucky bus! When I went to see the fertility doc for a check up last wk, he said to dtd for 4-6 days every day after I got a positive/smiley face OPK. Day 6 after smiley today and everyday done blush so fx please!! At the risk of jinxing myself I'm feeling a bit more positive this cycle. Pass some of that magic baby dust this way please!

TinkyPeet Sun 18-Nov-12 20:26:13

Fx taking and loads of baby dust!! Xxxx

JellyCurls Sun 18-Nov-12 20:57:15

Fx taking hope your 2ww is not too long x

mumbags Sun 18-Nov-12 21:22:03

Fingers AND TOES crossed. X

MrsWajs Sun 18-Nov-12 22:09:01

Wow another 3 bfps - congrats all!
And commiserations to those with af & bfn.

CD32 for me today. Still having a debate with myself about POAS tomorrow morning. Have had various symptoms - mostly being ratty, light headedness and being totally knackered all the time. But keep putting it down to weaning my ADs (1week cold turkey now) either that or the mother of all PMT!!

JellyCurls Mon 19-Nov-12 07:12:47

Morning ladies, anyone POAS this morning?

I am on cycle day 39 and have plenty of possible symptoms: heartburn from my morning cuppa, boobs that are sore even without prodding them, tiredness... going to try wait another few days before testing again though.

setayharas Mon 19-Nov-12 07:52:30

Morning jelly!! I'm trying my hardest not to poas today!

Im cycle day 21 af due Friday. This weekend iv had stupid amounts of wees at one point I was going about every 15mins. Felt sick exhausted and the most stiff achy calf muscles. Acid indigestion.

However woke up today with a are throat and slight cramping and everything else seems to have disappeared even my boobs have calmed down and I ALWAYS have painful boobs before af. Feeling a bit silly and like I made everything up right now.

Gobba wait until Friday. I'll probably last until 2night before I give in and poas.

Fx for u xx

Here's hoping work takes me mind off it!

MrsWajs Mon 19-Nov-12 08:27:07

BFN here but it's not over til it's over.

chocolatesolveseverything Mon 19-Nov-12 08:47:13

Morning,

Some promising symptoms MrsWajs, setay and Jelly - good luck!

I rang the GP surgery this morning and explained situation but got told that they don't have any 'routine' appointments left until next week. Wanted to say "Finding out you're upduffed is not routine, grrr!" but I suppose there are a lot of bugs and flu going about just now. Won't hurt me to wait a bit.

TakingTheStairs Mon 19-Nov-12 09:46:28

Morning all.

So an amazing three BFPs over the weekend. Congratulations again to Nicnicw, Silver and chocolate

Jelly&, *Tinky & Mumbags, thanks so much for your fx. I was woken last night with stabby pains in my lower abdomen that were so strong they woke me. I thought I'd had them before but these were completely different, far more intense and specific, so fingers crossed it was a sign of something good. Too early in my cycle for IC so I'm hoping it was the egg moving along the tubes (or something! confused)

Jelly your signs are looking good. MEGA fx for you!!

Cortana & hayle, so sorry the witch got you sad

Thanks chookford smile

Brodicea Mon 19-Nov-12 10:56:01

Evil Red Tide of Doom.

unhappy pants.

Thanks for the wine ladies!

Well really painful ovulation pain last night. Had to take paracetamol. So dtd sat and will dtd today. Hoping that's enough and I have ovulated after last weeks false alarm.

TinkyPeet Mon 19-Nov-12 11:11:31

Sorry to hear it brodicea keep smiling Hun xxxx
So I have my booking in appt today, bit nervous as I know the mw is gonna weigh me sad I'm starting at a lot bigger this time than last twice so I know I'm gonna be a hippo in a couple months. Without trying to be rude, is anyone else on the curvy side? Or am I the elephant on the bus? Lol xxxx

When I get my bfp I will be a stone heavier than with ds so not the only elephant. Good luck and don't worry about your weight, so long as you're eating healthily you'll be fine.

Mrskbpw Mon 19-Nov-12 12:13:27

Another elephant here - also a stone heavier than when I conceived my two boys. I'm also considering Slimming World as I know you can do that when you're pregnant - sounds like a very sensible eating plan.

Brilliant news about all the BFPs! Amazing stuff.

I was convinced I was out this month. Trying desperately not to symptom-spot but I do have very tingly boobs (definitely tingly - not sore). I am knackered - properly wiped out - slept through the alarm this morning. And a couple of days ago I felt a fluttering in my abdomen, very similar to first tiny baby kicks. I felt it twice, then not again. I wondered if this could be implantation?

Anyway, trying not to think about it as I'm pretty sure we missed our time. Due on Saturday so not long to wait.

pinkbuttons Mon 19-Nov-12 12:15:23

Congratulations to all the new BFPs and hope all that have been caught by AF have been enjoying wine and being positive for BFPs next month.
Still waiting here and no symptoms in sight so not too hopeful.
Tinky I put on 5 stone with DS and still a stone heavier than I was before being pregnant. Back in all my old clothes but still heavier [hmmm] think your body just changes after having babies (thats what I keep telling myself) Good luck at booking appt. smile

Had breakdown to DH yesterday about everything, back pain, wanting to be pregnant, everyone else being pregnant (2 of my close frends have had babies in the last month) Also didnt want to tell anyone we were TTC just incase takes a while and DH told everyone at party on Saturday night, hes excited an was a bit drunk but I just feel so much added pressure now. hmmph. Off work today because can hardly walk with my back pain and feeling sorry for myself, have given myself this morning off and then will pull myself together smile
. Sorry to rant.
Hope everyone elses Monday is going well and looking forward to a few new BFPs soon!!

setayharas Mon 19-Nov-12 12:47:33

ahhh pinkbuttons i know how u feel dp told everyone including the mother in law that we were ttc after having a bit to much to drink at a wedding. iv had nothing but questions since driving me potty!
what sort of backpain you having? i feel like iv pulled a muscle.

poas again
BFN
and had a lil cry quickly followed by and attacked on dp because i beleived it was hes fault that he was working late shit the week before i o'd last so didnt get to dtd as much before. poor sod looked heartbroken.
sure af will be here very soon now the moods are getting worse.

When is af/bfp due pink? I've no idea now as think I've only just ovulated when I thought I had a week ago so bit confused now.

Sorry you're emotional setay. It's horrible isn't. I told dh that if I'm not pregnant this month I'd blame but I was kinda joking!

setayharas Mon 19-Nov-12 13:04:30

haha the moment i said it i felt bad. do feel better now iv had my rant though. he must be a saint to put up with my recent mood swings lol

JellyCurls Mon 19-Nov-12 13:10:54

Setay have a hug from me. My MIL once showed me a drawer full of baby things she had bought for mine and DH first kid which was before we were ttc (about 3 years before we thought about it) so you have my sympathies with all the questions. We got 2 dc now and are trying for number 3 but my Father in law is always making comments about whens the next due. They dont even know we ttc so god knows what it would be like if they knew.

As for the emotional rant, that is allowed, ttc is hard on anybody but especially us ladies as we are the ones tormented by every niggle, burp & spot and we are the ones constantly waiting patiently for AF to not show up and then having to wait for her to bugger off so we can start the whole round again.

If I were you I would resist the temptation to POAS again till Sunday but no way I could wait that long, when if AF has not arrived, she will be late by then. There is still a chance you could be upduffed but at cycle day 21 you most probably dont have enough HCG to get a positive test.

<Passes some millionaire shortbread to make you feel a little better> anybody else care for some?

Mrskbpw Mon 19-Nov-12 13:26:24

Poor you Setay. I'd absolutely agree with not testing until you're late. It's just too stressful to do otherwise (and I say that with the wisdom of someone who's ttc twice before!).

extracrunchy Mon 19-Nov-12 14:35:51

This is mumbags - fancied a change of nickname!
setay sending hugs your way. I know exactly how you're feeling. Xx

TakingTheStairs Mon 19-Nov-12 15:00:27

liking the new name mumbags extracrunchy

pinkbuttons Mon 19-Nov-12 15:42:48

Thanks setey glad didnt seem like a ridiculous rant. can imagine MIL knowimg would be hard work. shpuld be glad DH is so excited as a few months ago he wnted to wait another yr.
have slipped a ddsc in my back, the last time I did it was in pregncy with DS something to do with hormones, bt think just due to weakness and a heavy DS this time.
sorry to hear ur emotional too. sending hugs bt glad im not the only one!!
quiet AF due on Friday so going to try not to test till Saturday. rubbish about your confusing ovulation! the 2ww is hard enough without it being longer sending you positive thoughts and energy or dtd smile

Thanks pink. I've got no ewcm at all so dunno what's going on. I think I'm gonna wait til end of month before testing as I'm not hopeful now that I've even ovulated let alone made a baby. I hate this I really do. You'd think after 6 months I'd be a bit more used to it but I'm really fed up now. I just want to be pregnant dammit!!

TomDaleysTrunks Mon 19-Nov-12 16:31:46

Right AF 4 days late but 4 negative tests. Feel tired with sore boobs. WHat is going on? So annoying! sad

TinkyPeet Mon 19-Nov-12 16:45:15

Well I've been Weighed sad heavier than I thought I was, and my bmi has been flagged as a risk factor sad sad sad

TinkyPeet Mon 19-Nov-12 16:45:48

Sorry tom didn't see your post, maybe get the docs to do a blood test? X

Silver15 Mon 19-Nov-12 17:52:18

Wow Choclate, I'm so happy for you. Congs.

That's rubbish Tom, maybe blood test is in order?
Sympathy s tinky. I'm presuming your bmi is only just in the overweight 'zone' try not to worry just concentrate on eating well and you'll be fine. I got told by my midwife when pregnant with ds that they only like you to put on a stone and I put on 3. It's all bollocks if you ask me brew

TinkyPeet Mon 19-Nov-12 18:24:46

It's 37 ninja sad I stopped counting at 6 stone with dd I just ballooned so I'm dreading this one. I keep getting little cramps, don't remember having them either of the other two ?

extracrunchy Mon 19-Nov-12 18:36:13

I put on 2 1/2 stone with ds. It's so hard to lose it again! A friend of mine had a high bmi when she got pregnant and was advised not to diet but eat very healthily - obviously safely but no more than necessary and no more fatty stuff - and she actually lost some weight in the first couple of months (before the baby got bigger obviously!) xx

nicnicw Mon 19-Nov-12 18:38:21

tinky im one big curve lol im just being careful i have plenty of weigh to provide my baby sustinence so i will be watching my calories ... i was going to ask are you stilol meant to drink a pint of milk a day and if so could i drinki skimmmed
?

nicnicw Mon 19-Nov-12 18:41:59

also the other thing is i had my gall bladder removed in july so i cant eat anything high fat anyway cos i dont absorb it and it goes straight through me ! so this is why the question about the full fat milk

JellyCurls Mon 19-Nov-12 18:43:36

Confused.
Poas tonight as felt so rubbish all day. Straight away two lines appeared. Put test down to go and break up fight between my two little darlings and came back to only one line.

What does that mean sensible self knows it means dont trust IC tests?

extracrunchy Mon 19-Nov-12 18:57:18

jelly I'd say BFP! Evap lines on ICs usually happen the other way round and turn up later! X

extracrunchy Mon 19-Nov-12 18:58:48

jelly I reckon BFP!! Evap lines on ICs usually happen the other way round and turn up later! X

extracrunchy Mon 19-Nov-12 18:59:11

Oh it said the first attempt didn't post...

JellyCurls Mon 19-Nov-12 19:03:30

Thanks crunchie i really hope your right. Said to dh i wouldn't test again till weekend but i may just do a sneaky one tomorrow morning. He doesn't know about tonights POAS think i am becoming addicted to stick peeing

Oh tinky don't see it as a bad thing, think of it as a chance to get healthier for your baby. Big hug for you.

setayharas Mon 19-Nov-12 19:19:13

Ohh jelly that sounds like good news!! If you manage to wait until the weekend before you test again I will be seriously impressed! U need to teach me some willpower!!

Keeping everything crossed for you! Let us no

JellyCurls Tue 20-Nov-12 07:56:52

And i think i am out, hoping that full blown af wont develop as I am not cramping which is unusual but i am no longer holding out any hope. Good luck to all those left on the bus x

TomDaleysTrunks Tue 20-Nov-12 08:39:28

Thanks all. We're in the process of a big move from London to Wales on Thirsday - I'm wondering if it's stress. Will retest tomorrow.

TinkyPeet Tue 20-Nov-12 09:22:32

How is everyone thismorning? Xx

JellyCurls Tue 20-Nov-12 09:55:45

Morning tinky i am wallowing in self pity. Want it to be tomorrow so i know if i am def out or not. How are you?

TakingTheStairs Tue 20-Nov-12 09:55:56

Morning all. <waves>

Jelly why do you think you are out? It all looked so positive last night

FX for you TomDaleysTrunks and good luck with the move. Stressful but hopefully exciting too?

tinky how are you today?

Mrskbpw Tue 20-Nov-12 10:07:50

Jelly do you have another test? Do it!

setayharas Tue 20-Nov-12 10:29:20

Good morning everyone!

Jelly what's happened?? Did u test again?

I'm quite chirpy today, just thinking if af doors appear at least I can open the lovely bottle of white my sister in law dropped over Last night.

How's everyone else holding out?

Was convinced I had a uti coming on last night it seems to have disappeared today. God knows what's going on.

pinkbuttons Tue 20-Nov-12 10:57:51

Good morning all,
hope move goes well tom
feeling very down today here, POAS again this morning and BFN. AF due on Friday but have no symptoms and surely test should.show by now... Is only our first month of trying so would hve been very lucky anyway but had got my hopes up. Anyway looking forward to wine this weekend, and thinking of romantic.things to do to make TTC more fun and less serious nxt month. Still a small chance test isnt picking up hormones yet bt dont want to cling to it.
Will be keeping an eye out for everyone elses BFPs though and wont be heading over to the Dec thread until AF does arrive :-)

JellyCurls Tue 20-Nov-12 11:07:19

I have some more IC tests but they are at home and i am at work. Only one other female in my office today and she is 36weeks pregnant. Will test tomorrow with fmu, keep everything crossed please

TakingTheStairs Tue 20-Nov-12 11:20:09

fingers and toes crossed Jelly

Creamtea1 Tue 20-Nov-12 11:35:01

Is there a December thread yet ladies? Period not due till 3rd dec. currently having wierd (ovulation?) pains in my right side hip area, never had those before. Positive opk's yest and this morn.

setayharas Tue 20-Nov-12 12:08:03

Oh pink, try not to let it get to you, easier said than done I know!
Your af day is the same as mine and I tested yesterday a bfn uv managed to withhold the urge today.

Iv been told that it's really common to have a bfn this early before your af due And still go on to have a bfp. Don't give up yet!

But that wine sounds damn good if needed at the weekend and I'll even eat my body weight in Stilton mmmm

Let me know how your getting on

TinkyPeet Tue 20-Nov-12 12:47:18

Hi ladies I'm ok thankyou, still not had any sickness or anything and my heartburn has disappeared, feelin a little better about my weight thismorning after talking to my sister who just said sod them I lost it before so I can lose it again and if anyone makes comments to just tell them to feck off lol. So yeah I'm just waiting to 'feel' upduffed now... :/
Fx for your next test jelly
<waves> to everyone else grin
Xx

<waves back> glad you're feeling better tinky. Nothing much going on with me as got a while to wait before I can test or do anything. Ordered a couple of ic and a clearblue just in case but also ordered some more opks as not holding out much hope.
No December thread yet creamtea, think ill probably be on that one as af must be due a week later than I originally thought now.

frogchops Tue 20-Nov-12 13:56:46

I'm hopping off this bus until the December bus comes. Anyone with me??

extracrunchy Tue 20-Nov-12 14:42:09

frogchops - me!! X

chookford Tue 20-Nov-12 14:48:14

Ladies I have started a Dec Bus but cant post the link... but it is right at the top of the list so come join me all who are def out in Nov x

setayharas Tue 20-Nov-12 15:02:44

Ahh in still hiding on this bus from the dreaded af. Save me a seat though. I have. Feeling I'll need it

TakingTheStairs Tue 20-Nov-12 15:21:06

Here is the link to the Dec bus for those that want it

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1617248-Dec-2012-BFP-Bus

chookford Tue 20-Nov-12 15:26:07

Ha thanks taking I was being a pleb!!! X

TakingTheStairs Tue 20-Nov-12 16:45:23

Not a pleb chookford just on your phone without the ease of a pc smile

pinkbuttons Tue 20-Nov-12 16:49:26

Thanks setayharas maybe will keep just a little bit of hope then. When are you planning on testing again? Think I will wait to see if AF turns up on time first, cant bare to see another BFN when theres still even the smallest chance.
Just have to think that by the weekend will hopefully know one way or the other and if its the other then am treating myself to wine, brie and runny eggs with soldiers for breakfast smile
Also watched four born every second on BBC Iplayer today, it was amazing and definitely bought me back to reality and stop feeling sorry for myself.

weechops Tue 20-Nov-12 18:05:54

Hey fellow travellers smile I think I may just join chookford and the others on the December bus shortly. But also hang out here too until af shows up. I've been using opk's a bit sporadically this month but haven't seen any hint of a smiley or a line and this is cd18. Hmm I'm hoping that I just missed the surge and I am still actually ovulating! Not that it would do me any good anyhow, since dh isn't back til 2 days before af.

TomDaleysTrunks Tue 20-Nov-12 19:41:44

Right a very faint BFP here. Not entirely convinced but still no period. Good news!

Congrats tomdaley! Another bfp yay

setayharas Tue 20-Nov-12 20:36:44

Yay!! Congratulations!!

I can't move over to the December thread yet, feels like I'm giving up on this month then lol. Who's hanging on in here with me?

extracrunchy Tue 20-Nov-12 20:51:45

Oh well done tomdaley!! Brilliant news x

TinkyPeet Tue 20-Nov-12 20:56:31

JellyCurls Wed 21-Nov-12 05:05:14

Congratulations tom this really has been a lucky bus.

I got a very unwelcome visit from the with this morning angry so it is with a heavy heart and a sore belly that i leave you lovely ladies behind. And in the nicest possible way I hope i dont meet any of you on the next bus x

Lesson learned this cycle was that every pre af symptom is the same as pre preg symptom so no point in symptom spotting -- wont stop me though--

Aw that's crap jelly. I'm sorry x

chookford Wed 21-Nov-12 08:56:15

Tom whoop whoop!!! massive congrats!

Dont worry ladies the Dec bus is just as lovely as this one so for all those who have had af show her ugly face, come and join us we have cakes........grin fx for all you lovely ladies left to test!

wavesandsneezes Wed 21-Nov-12 09:40:16

Morning all, and huge congrats tom. Well, today was possibly going to be AF due day, although after last month's ridiculously long cycle, who knows. So, I used an IC and had a BFN, but not hopping off the bus til the witch, or Advent, arrives. Sorry jelly and anyone else who the wicked witch got.

Had to go back to the doctor yesterday and have been signed off for yet another week. Deeply fed up as today it is 2 weeks since I first started feeling like utter poo. As a result, I have been up to no baking whatsoever, so, if anyone fancies passing me some cake I would be enormously grateful. And it would avoid me having to hijack the December bus for their cakes!

TakingTheStairs Wed 21-Nov-12 09:41:12

Oh, having got what I assumed was a BFN after not waiting at all this morning, I dragged myself upstairs for a shower and there is the faintest of faint second pink lines there on the stick......It wasn't done using fmu, but maybe, just maybe?

Refusing to really get my hopes up, but I guess i will test again tomorrow morning and do it properly.

TakingTheStairs Wed 21-Nov-12 13:02:18

Sending sympathising hugs setay Ive cried once already so feeling your pain, have also been signed off work for the rest of the week so now have nothing to distract me....

shineypeacock Wed 21-Nov-12 14:59:32

Hello Ladies,

I wasn't going to get on this Bus, but AF was due yesterday, but a BFN both yesterday and this morning. (Only used IC's) don't even feel like AF is on her way, and don't really have any symptoms unless, mouth ulcers and acid indigestion count (this has calmed down tho).

I have had a short 26 day cycle and may be changing back to my normal 28 day cycle, I'm just not sure whats happening. Also could be due to stress as I have been made redundant and am on gardening leave at mo so have lots of time to think things over.

DH says test again tomorrow and has got me a FRER to try, arrrggghhh don't know what to think, do. Can't talk to my mum or did as my sis would have been at term this week if she hadn't had a mc in April!

Just wanted to get these thoughts out there, have been lurking around all month and congrats to all BFP's

Mrskbpw Wed 21-Nov-12 15:33:35

Do you know when you ovulated Shiney? Stress can delay ovulation, but not your period, if that makes sense?

And mouth ulcers are a definite symptom - I had LOADS before my first bfp!

Good luck!

TinkyPeet Wed 21-Nov-12 15:41:23

Oooooo waves fx!!!! Xx

shineypeacock Wed 21-Nov-12 15:42:32

I'm not sure when I ovulated tbh, haven't been using OPK's or temping so don't know, I did have some ovulation pains around the time I should have ovulated iyswim.

Have got two cracking ulcers under my tounge and they feel enormous, also got a massive craving for m&s chicken curry from a tin, had 2 this week and don't normally bother with them much!!

Just wish BFP or AF would turn up so I know!!

TakingTheStairs Wed 21-Nov-12 16:10:33

hi shiney <waves>
Lovely to see you again! Fx for you
xx

shineypeacock Wed 21-Nov-12 18:14:36

Aww thanks taking fx for you too x

setayharas Wed 21-Nov-12 18:48:36

Well this has been a lucky thread! Congrats everyone who's had their bfp!

Hope your feeling better pink! And hope your not spending all day searching symptoms on google now your off work! I i wish I knew why I cried lol I was only asked if I was ok and off I went lol
2 days until af is due, although ill be surprised if she holds off until then.
Got another bfn today but I'm at a french Christmas market around my ov day next month so maybe that'll cast some magic.

pinkbuttons Wed 21-Nov-12 22:09:11

Have so far managed to avoid googling setay but the temptation to POAS is getting worse by the minute...
Sorry about another BFN bt still 2 days away! Although french christmas market sounds lovely and v v romantic smile

shineypeacock Thu 22-Nov-12 08:45:41

Hello all,

Well did a FrEr this morning and got BFP!!!!!' was a faint second line, but defiantly a line, so I'm guessing I'm pregnant (feels strange to write that!)

DH was so happy too, even when I shoved the test under his nose and bedroom light on whilst asleep, after a bit of squinting he agreed a line was there!

This is a lucky bus, wasn't even on it and got a BFP, sorry to all those the witch has got and good luck to those waiting

xxxxxxx

wavesandsneezes Thu 22-Nov-12 09:14:51

Congrats shiney I did an IC last night, and again this morning, and both times got a faint second line. So, like you, feels a bit strange to write, but I guess I am pg too..... Feels surreal, especially as I have been so poorly this month I didn't think we had a hope.

Told DH last night, and he wasn't particularly enthusiastic - hoping it is the reality sinking in and not a change of heart. I will never understand men confused

shineypeacock Thu 22-Nov-12 09:17:44

Congrats waves hope your DH gets over his shock soon! Is this your first DC?

wavesandsneezes Thu 22-Nov-12 09:32:22

It's our first DC together - he has 2DS from a previous relationship (who are with us 4 nights a week), and I have DS and DD from exH who are with us all the time. So, in a way, it feels like the first, and we will have to work hard to make sure that none of our DCs feel like they are being replaced, which I think is his main concern.

pinkbuttons Thu 22-Nov-12 09:39:41

Congrats waves and shiney wow its been a lucky day!! How exciting for you both... waves even if I was to get a BFP tomorrow, dont think DH would be as excited as I would be, think now that were trying he just expects it to happen quite soon so hasnt been stressing about it at all. I dont understand men either!! Maybe as my DS grows up I will start to learn smile
AF due tomorrow here, v emotional and had the weirdest dreams last night as well as being hungry all day yesterday. All normal AF symptoms minus the dreams so not hopeful, but think will test tomorrow and just try my best to hide from the witch.

TakingTheStairs Thu 22-Nov-12 09:49:28

Not really shock grin
Sorry Weechops, I thought you'd gone to the Dec bus, so I took you off.
Delighted you're still here to hang out with me until the end of Nov. Though I'm not feeling too hopeful tbh. Had some blood tests done a couple of weeks ago just as part of a check up and the Anti Mullerian Hormone test came back with a "reduced response" result but I don't know what that means. £90 for a blood test and they want another £65 for a 15 minute telephone consultation to tell me what the results mean. Feeling a bit ripped off!!
Does anyone know what that means?

Huge congratulations to waves and shiney!!! Xx

pinkbuttons Thu 22-Nov-12 18:29:33

Oh how lovely Setey. I love it when Dh thinks things like that, shows tht he is secretly excited as I am.
Last night I dreamt about someone stealing our tablet bt then knocking on the front dor and giving it backbecause uit didnt work. And about ur house raining inside because the roof was leaking everywhere BUT the rain was a different colour in each room and DS was upset because the rain was orange in his room and he likes blue... Any chance of analysing that dream? Haha
hmm fox dream sounds interesting too...
Are u testing in the morning or just waiting to see if AF arrives?

pinkbuttons Thu 22-Nov-12 18:31:13

Our* house not ur apologies for poor spelling am on my phone and watching in the night garden with DS, brain slowly dying...

setayharas Thu 22-Nov-12 18:42:40

I would love to know what different dreams mean! Aslong as we aren't being psychic and I'm not going to be eaten by a fellow fox and your roof isn't going to leak!

I'll probably use an ic in the morning, I have one clear blue left that I'm trying to save as long as possible just incase i hold out another week or something( highly unlikely All signs are saying I won't need either)
Are you testing tomorrow or just waiting to see?

pinkbuttons Thu 22-Nov-12 18:56:17

Haha lets hope not although it is pouring down here... Your less likely tp be eaten by a fox though or become a fox i should say...
Think I will also do IC in the morning just to see. Bt hve deliberately not bought any expensive tests because I feel that by tomorrow night AF will most probably have arrived and I will be sharing a nice bottle of wine with DH...
Fingers crossed for us both though!

extracrunchy Thu 22-Nov-12 19:07:03

Ooh fx for you both!
We just watched In the Night Garden too. Those Tombliboos need to get some perspective...

setayharas Thu 22-Nov-12 19:22:49

Haha oh I can't wait for the day when I can watch Childrens program's! Bet there more exciting that the things dp makes me watch!

extracrunchy Thu 22-Nov-12 19:32:51

Some of them drive you mad but In the Night Garden is very soothing! Ideal if you're a bit stressed with all this ttc malarkey. It's on every night at 6.30 grin

extracrunchy Thu 22-Nov-12 19:33:48

setayharas Thu 22-Nov-12 19:40:27

extracrunchy Thu 22-Nov-12 20:19:19

Morning,

Don't give up hope yet pink & setay It's not over until the witch turns up!

Sorry about your AF pain quietninja, has the witch arrived ?

I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot as I know early AF symptoms are the same as early BFP signs but lots of stretchy (rather than crampy iykwim) feelings in very low abdomen, between my hip bones and tender nips! agghh, AF not due for another week I'll drive myself mad if I'm not careful

Rubbish news about the BFNs, but, it isn't over until the witch appears so keeping fx. Pretty much accepted that I am actually pg now - 6 ICs used, and all with a second pink line. Going to splash out on a FRER tomorrow once I have been paid, so hopefully that will give me the confirmation I need. Symptom-wise, boobs are super sensitive, and my whole pelvis area feels proper stretched and OUCHY when I sneeze. Which is thankfully a lot less often the past couple of days. DH is now very excited, and planning out what DIY needs to be done before next summer.

Hoping that you all have some lovely weekend plans - I am off to watch DS have a coaching session with Pat Cash which is rather exciting grin

Morning all. Sorry to hear about BFNs but like Waves says, it's not over yet.

I'm due tomorrow. No symptoms to speak of, but I'm wary of symptom spotting anyway. When I was pregnant last time, I was so convinced I was about to get my period that I went out to buy tampons in my lunch-hour.

My MIL is coming to stay tomorrow, which always makes me turn to the wine. So if I do get my period, at least I can have a drink!

Hi taking. No af yet but it's just a matter of time but will hang out til she appears.

Aw quietninja, you can take a leaf out of Mrskbpw's book and take the opportunity to drink ;)

Ohh wine sounds good!
Still hanging on in here, no sign of the dreaded witch yet.

I think wine would defiantly be needed to get me through a weekend of MIL

Have a good weekend ladies anyway!

Ha ha setay I'm staying with in laws this weekend though my mil is lovely, fil can be a bit grumpy and opinionated so have had a glass of wine to enable me ignoring his stupid remarks.
