another babyfail month... its been a while...

hi people,

Its a long one sorry! I'm a new person. Well technically not as I've name changed as I used to post a while back when I still fresh at TTC. Once upon a time, I became completely obsessed with it all, the 2WW blah blah, to the point of insanity so my MN privileges were taken away from me! However, I've been allowed back on due to good behaviour with the promise that I stop lurking, actually post on the odd occasion!, and find some support on here.

I know I'm not the only one and I really do feel for all of you who are struggling also. Today is CD1. We have been not actively trying for 2 years, most definitely actively trying (inc all gadgets/vits/creams and potions) for 12 months. I'm 37 and working on my first baby. I really want to be a Mummy, but its just not happening.

So, here I am. We have first appt with fertility clinic in 2 weeks. I've had bloods which show I'm ovulating and I've also been using CBFM for 7 months which shows peaks on a regular basis. Cycle regular(ish) at 25-27 days but short luteal phase as I ovulate on CD16-17.

DH has children with ex, but he has yet to be tested.

We both drink (not a huge amount), he smokes, we both take vits and are both slightly overweight but working on it.

Anyone want to give me a nudge, either in the direction of the ideal thread for me, or tell me it'll happen soon (no babydust please), or even to offer me chocolate and wine????

Hello come and joint us on the First Time Frolickers thread, for people TTC No 1. I would like but I am crap at it! Its the one starting with "The Return of the First Time Frolickers". We are all a lovely bunch (even if I do say so myself) and range from people in their first few cycles to people who have been trying for longer. I myself have been trying for over a year and am just going through all the test myself (had ultrasound yesterday)

We all like to moan and rant when needed but also very supportive but not in a crappy way - wow I really sound like I am selling something.

Anyway pop along and see what you think.

We snort babydust on the 30s TTC BESH thread (if you want to know what BESH means come and have a lurk). And we drink gin. Lots of people going through tests and investigations so you can swap stories.
