Hi, I think it's great news you've been given a once over by the gp but it's important to remember that even an 'average' healthy woman only has a 25% chance of conceiving each cycle. So even if age wasn't a factor I'd anticipate at least 6 months of 'trying' before success.

There's loads of things you can do to maximize your chances of hitting the right time each month but as you've only just started I won't recommend any of those yet! Take it easy, it's very easy to go mental become agitated when it doesn't happen the first couple of 'goes'.

Good luck, I wish you every success xx

No advice as such but a family member started TTC at 37, struggled for about a year but... is now pregnant with 3rd (due end May) and turning 41 soon. So all is not lost.

Keep having fun trying
