Oooo I HATE house hunting and the stress of actually moving. Sympathy and mini-eggs for you. However I love planning where to put furniture and sad sad things like that. So I hope you get to that stage nice and quickly

I also LOVE lists. And tidyness. And stationary. And farting about tidying my stationary. And cats. I am so very small and uninteresting.

Stress = tidying and running about doing chores for me. Not good when the doctor says rest for 2 weeks (looks guilty)

My tummy is sore and still full of horrible stitches, can't believe its been over 2 weeks since the operation. I want to get on and ttc, but my DH and QuestionsAnswered (a lady who MC'd the same time as me, who I have invited to this thread when she is ready) both agree I need to WAIT until I am healed to try again. At least May. At the very least.

DH has been a grumpy old arse lately too. Hopefully this will pass.

Iggy - Denial is good. However if you have the time to start kind of maybe looking for boxes on your way past shops etc. once every few days it will REALLY help with the stress of moving. Box packs online cost a fortune, and you ALWAYS need tonnes more boxes than you think you will....

Oh excited to see we are onto another new thread loving the mention of mini eggs am ironically sipping my coffee from a mini egg mug that came with an egg I ate last week 9could not wait for easter!! will be proper catch up later promise but VJay hope pain gets easier if not please go back to doctors PFJ am sure things will get better with your dh its just the adjustment they need to get over after what has happened Neeko can I put my guess of the 29/03 on the sweepstake Barbie can't believe Devon is 1 month already hope she has got over her doctors visit and a UK trip with her will be exciting for you all 4ever love the name Summer its so lovely. Heard from Jools she is still struggling with the ttc pressure and is finding it easier not to talk at the minute hope ahe gets the bfp soon that she so deserves. PFJ am sure you are right that you need to wait - but waiting is so frustrating... Did the doctors give you any advice on when to ttc again? I guess May isn't that far in the grand scheme of things - but I do know how horrible it is to wait...

Well ...one doc at the hospital said to wait 3 months. Online it says wait 6 weeks....

What I should really do is wait for the stitches to be gone and then assess myself. Check my cycle, check I am not taking any pills etc. I shouldn't be, before my next period and then go from there.... waiting is frustrating isn't it? But I shouldn't 'wish' my life away....

Well the thing about waiting is it never seems that long when you look back on it - but from the other side it seems forever - waiting for stuff drives me mad anyway cos am v. impatient person!

Just a quick post (while Saara hangs off me!) to say hello and to make myself comfy in our new home

pfj I also was told to wait 3 months before ttc after my mmc. I had medical management and they told me thats how long it would take to get the medication completely out of my system. It also took 3 months for my periods fall into my normal 28 day cycle. The waiting was the absolute worst for me and I spent a lot of it crying and putting on weight (I went up a dress size - I still havent lost that weight )I also got very as googling after my mmc told me that I didnt need to wait that long but my DH was adamant in listening to the doctors advice. I used to constantly beg him to ignore the advice. But DH even now says he was glad we waited as I wasnt ready mentally. I then ended up getting pregnant with Saara whilst on holiday in India.

Also I have to add that I think I would've had really serious problems if I didnt have these lovely ladies to talk to in helping me get through those dark, bleak times - so you're in the right place

Sorry the post turned out longer than expected but what I'm trying to say is I know how you're feeling and whether you decide to ttc now or later, you time WILL come

hi girls made it over to new home.

went to register jacks birth today very sureal . still cant believe he is mine .

feeding is getting better hes having a feeding frenzy the last few days every 2 hours . im glad in a way . he needs to fatten up lol

I've started to give Ajay some formula now, mainly at bedtime, he has started to turn away from me during the day, so I'm worried he's not getting enough milk now, I'm a bit sad about it but knew it would happen sometime. He's had a good 6 months of boob. Do you think this could be him self weaning? He still guzzles during the night, just not in the day. I'm a bit about the whole thing!

Vjay - that sounds quite normal to me, my little Jack was the same. 6 months + was when I first tried my little Jack on some starter baby foods like rice puddings and things. He loved them right from the beginning and never looked back. I still give him baby/toddler milks as well to make sure he is 'getting enough' though. I know he is 2 this april, so we are almost ready to move away from milk supplements altogether.....

The last thing you want is teething to happen and to still have a baby addicted to boob. Well in my book anyways.

I know how you feel though... It's a shame they grow up so fast. If you have a camcorder use it as much as you can while baby is still ickle. I love looking back on home movies of my LO. I wish I had more of them!

PfjI bought a camcorder at Christmas and have tried to use it but I haven't had time to find out how it works properly . As for the waiting I do feel for you, looking back now it seems like no time at all, but when you're in the thick of it you just want things to happen now!!! You can reason with yourself all you like but it's still hard. This place helped me to cope
