late period advice anyone?

hi i am new to mn, i found the sight after having an unusual bleed mid cycle, here's what happened:

the start of my last af was 31 jan, i also had a very light bleed that lasted 7 days on the 18th feb, it wasnt even enough to put a towel on just seen when i wiped after going the loo. i kind of hoped it would have been implantation bleeding. my next af was due on 27th jan but has only just started on 18th feb! i did take 3 tests during this time that all came up -ve.
anybody else had this happen to them? i am usually regular 28 day cycle.
we have 1 6.5 yr old and i stopped taking my pill 4 yrs ago in the hope we would have another but still nothing!!

thanks for replying, maybe i will have to just put it down to strange cycle and hope for bfp next time x
