...you have to be so careful if you don't want to "fall" pregnant. Unprotected sex at any time in your cycle could get you pregnant. And of course using the withdrawal method is very risky.

But when you're TTC sex has to be timed at exactly the right time otherwise there is no chance of getting pregnant.

Doesn't seem fair somehow!

Ridiculous isn't it? I am a teacher and was actually doing a sex ed class today to some 15 year olds, patiently reading off a sheet I'd been given about how very easy it is to get pregnant during your period.

All the time I was thinking to myself (having just got my bloddy AF again yesterday) how damn impossible it is to get that one little sperm and egg to meet...
