Does implantation bleeding always look the same?

Hello ladies. Is implantation bleeding always a brownish/pink or reddish discharge that I always read on the net? I know that not everyone gets it or notices it but after going for a pee I noticed that the tissue was sort of a watery pink. I thought that it was my period as I am due today and stuffed a tampon in but I have had nothing since. The tampon was clear too (sorry tmi). Usually I either have the icky brown discharge before my period starts or I go into full AF mode. I guess I will know in the morning if AF is in town or not and if not, will take a test. Thank you in advance for any replies
