Hi Zozwalker, I am not well versed on PCOS but my periods stopped for about 5 months and after that I was on a cycle of about 60 days or so. They have settled to 33 days now since July. Have you seen your GP? If not, I would definitely go. I went after nearly 5 months of missed periods and had tests for PCOS and thyroid problems. I have also had a pelvic scan and an HSG which all came back normal. I know that some people do not agree that stress can delay periods but I had quite a rough few months before my periods stopped. That being said, I would definitely recommend seeing your GP as soon as you can if you have not already. Good luck

Actually you have answered your own question in your first sentence.

PCOS is to blame here for the lack of periods.

If you are not under the care of a gynae at this time I would ask the GP to refer you to such a person asap. PCOS is not a condition for GPs to be messing around with.
