no! chatted about it. my dh is not unreasonable guy and it is all very light hearted, no friction between us because of it. only 2 more sleeps to go. saw a close friend today she is also ttc and is 1 day late. maybe we will have our number 2 children together like the first time round

I'm in the same boat. Have had really sore boobs for a week (as I did when pregnant with DS1) but period isn't due till next week and DH points out that we shouldn't really test till then. Cracked and did a test tonight, but it was invalid - no control line. And it's too snowy to go and buy more...

oh no!!! always buy a 2 pack!!! iv always got sore boobs this time of month, do seem a little more sensitive now though. peeing loads and also i didnt realise but vivid abnormal dreams is 1 too! i alsways remember my dreams and they are usually pretty wacky but dh said today i have been screaming in my sleep for the past 3 or 4 nights, so much so i nearly woke my son and the neighbours heard!!! eek that took some explaining!!

Hi, what happened with the test?!! I did one this morning and it was negative. Still the big boobs though (been a week now), and is 5 days till missed period, so probably worth doing testing again middle of next week. Am trying to be very dont-mind-either-way-ish about it, but it is hard to sustain!

snap!! dh really gutted this month which makes it really difficult for me then to stay ok ish with it. im still having vivid dreams and screaming in the night, weeing loads bigger boobs etc. we are gonna test mon if still no sign...........just wish it would arive soon so i can get on with next cycles dates or of course not at all.

I know, the uncertainty is the killer isn't it. This is our first month of trying, and I wasn't expecting anything at all to happen for a few months anyway. Now I've got back into baby mindset again it's going to be hard to snap out of...

i actually find it easier as the months past. this is our 8th now i think. really would prefer not to have a xmas baby but we cant have it always can we?

Let me know what happens with test. I'm going to test again on Friday if no period. I definitely can't obsess like this every month. The days are really dragging - as if January doesn't go slowly at the best of times!

hi tested again yesterday and still negative. my husband and i were married last july and (ithink because of the stress) i missed 2 periods completely. im not stressed now but maybe thats whats going on.

i also chart my temps, bout 10 days ago my temp shot up and ff said i had ovulated but i put it down to i had a tummy bug and thats why it shot up. how could i ovulate at end of cycle? now im thinking maybe i did ovulate and its another 56 day cycle, i see youve said its your 1st month trying, hav you seen fertility friend its really good. chart alsorts from temps to cm to when its pants off time!!!! do you already have children?

Really sorry to hear it was still negative. Sounds like you've got a complicated cycle. Thanks for the fertility friend suggestion - will take a look. How old is your first child? Mine is nearly 3, and I'm keen to get cracking with number 2. I'm on sabbatical from work till Sept and it would be very handy to be having a baby and not need to go back to work at all. Guess babies don't come to convenient timetables like that though. All this thinking about it is probably what is making my boobs swell up!

woo hoo! got a visit from my horrid little friend today but suppose its good news as i can get crackin' on month 9's dates!
our first child is 3 in june. he doesnt understand brother and sister but wants a baby girl to come live with us, bless!
each month that passes i feel i cant go through it again next month but time does pass and im sure we will get there in the end.
thinking that charting my temps this month will be a big factor in finding out whats actually going on with my body.
they say babies come along when you least expect it but how? i expect it every month!!!!!

Sorry to hear that pinchme. Good luck getting your cycle tracked. I might try the temperature thing too, though I also want to recreate the blase-not-in-any-hurry mindset I had first time around. Easy said than done!!
