Okay, so AF is now four days late. UCL is 28, like clockwork. Been TTC...BUT have tested every day since day 27, and all have come back negative.
Please, someone give me hope that I could still be pregnant? And if I'm not (which is likely, I know), then what is going on?
Any suggestions (especially ones saying I'm probably pg!) will be gratefully received. I feel I'm going crazy testing all the time and hoping against all evidence!

im in the same boat. Im on day 33 today and although I have recently come off the coil, my last cycle length was 26 days, and before i was on the pill it would be 28 -30 days. Have tested a few time each time BFN. Using first response, but have just bought a superdrug one and will test again if AF doesnt arrive. I had cramping tuesday last week. No other symptoms other than by boobs are a bit tender if i push them, but only a bit. If AF is coming i wish she would hurry up, then i can go and get sloshed and be ready for next month!

I tested negative, never actually got a positive but the GP just confirmed it thanks to all my hideous symptoms.

Wow lucy! Two sets of twins...how awesome would that be! (okay, I don't have any DCs yet, but have always loved the idea of having twins, and have probably romanticised it a lot in my mind, but wow!)

Let me know how you get on if you test. I also wish AF would just get a move on if she is coming. Can't stand the not knowing!

And I hear you about the getting sloshed. Going to a party tonight, and prob won't drink, in case I am pregnant. But then if AF comes tomorrow I'll be doubly gutted. Grrrrr....

I am in the same boat! On average I'm a 28 day cycle, so am now 3 days late. Have done 3 tests and all negative. Usually I get spotting and some mild cramps for 2-3 days before my period fully starts and no signs of anything as yet! Have been pretending to drink at social events which is not easy to do (tipping wine down sink, diluting it with water, etc!) - what a bummer! So I know how you feel and any more advice would be welcome.

We've been ttc for a few months now and I am convinced that I have a neurotic reproductive system. My periods have always been a steady 28 day cycle - as soon as we started ttc everything went haywire. Am convinced that your brain tells your body that you want to be pregnant so your body does its best to maintain the illusion for as long as possible - a sort of psychosomatic pregnancy. Having said that, clearly loads of people who are ttc get pregnant all the time, so perhaps it's not my reproductive system that's neurotic - it's me!

I know what you mean Armi. Yesterday I convinced myself that I was pregnant, was feeling a bit queasy and hot etc. After doing the test today and getting bfn all symptoms went away!

yes know what you mean - i did have some mild symptoms but now there is nothing grrr. At least if you have symtoms you dont think your going mad! Anyone got any news this morning?

I woke up at 6am, and forgot to save the FMU! so i am waiting for it to build up again so I can test. Sure it will be BFN though.

was ttc last year and wanted to know if i should drink on NYE - tested twice & was -ve.
Didn't drink in the end due to super-paranoia, glad i did as got a +ve on 9th Jan! Had to get DH to confirm I could see 2 lines

how many days late were you stealth?

Hello, i'm now 36 weeks pregnant and did not test positive until over 50 days after first day of last period....so about 20 days overdue AF (normally 32 day cycle). Doc said could have had an extra long cycle/ovulated late. Therefore went for lots of dating scans and they put my dates back by 4 weeks in total (put back one week last time by scan and then DD was two weeks overdue). So think my pregnancies are just the 42 week ones rather than the 37 weekers.

Armi I know exactly what you mean. I feel as though my mind is secretely telling my body to trick me into thinking I'm pregnant. It's nuts.
I can imagine myself going to the GP, saying, "erm, I think I'm pregnant, but I've tested negative XXX times", and her just laughing me out of the door.

lucy and cookie sorry about BFN, but as others have said, there is still hope. That's what I'm going to tell myself anyway...

Tested this morning (again!) with pound shop test, and got a very very very faint line (almost imperceptible) but only after about six minutes. I don't even want to show DP in case he can't see the line, and I am imagining it Also, isn't six minutes too late? I am very tentatively excited, at the risk of being super disappointed if I'm actually making it all up...

I didn't get a BFP with my first pregnancy until about day 40 (of a 30 day cycle). Even then it was very, very faint.

With both of my DSs I was negative until about a week after my period was due - on both occasions Christmas intervened and although I didn't overindulge, I did have an odd glass of wine.

My mym was never "officially" pregnant with me as she never once got a positive test result,

I tested negative for a week after my period was due with 3 pregnancies. I knew I was pg though.

With this pg I got a positive straight away

ohhh emsiero that looks like a BFP then ... congrats. Keep us upto date on the status of your line in subsequent tests!

Thanks for the other responses - they give me hope, but I have to say dont feel at all pregnant! trouble is we stopped bding ages ago as I was sure I ovulated on day 18....

Thanks lucy - I'm trying not to get excited, because the line was so so faint, and only appeared five days after my period was due. Any news with you?

I think will wait until Wednesday (if I can!) to test again, and make an appointment to see GP next week, when I'm off work anyway.

Hope everyone has a good week! Monday mornings are the hardest...

AF is 3 days late and I feel pregnant but test was negative this morning.

caved in and tested. BFN

Couldn't wait any longer, and retested today with First Response... and gor a proper BFP
