A chance yes though slim.

Ideally the sperm should be there ready to meet the released egg or very soon afterwards as it rapidly deteriorates and after 24hrs generally the chances are minuscule, if not impossible.

I can feel ovulation btw and so can pinpoint it exactly. I always have 2/3 days of ewcm beforehand and a headache and one sided pain on the day I ovulate. The ewcm and the headache are always gone by 12hrs post ovulation so I assume my body knows the chance is gone from that point.

2-3 days of EWCM?

Maybe I didn't OV then. It was only a day of EW consistency but was v 'cloudy' (sorry, far TMI!)

I say try it anyway.

I read sperm survive for up to 5 days, but I ovulated 6/7 days post dtd (used opks) and fell pregnant (very much wanted, I hastened to add ).

Id say its worth a shot! Its bordering on the last bit of egg life but if you dont try then yr be thinking that it might of been a missed chance. good luck get in there asap x

I don't think everybody has 2/3 days of ewcm. Just that I do.

Sperm can survive 5 days in the right conditions yes, but the egg's pretty much no good to you after 24hrs so lots of sex before ovulation is more productive than lots of sex post-ovulation.

You could have sex anyway.
