carrots I haven't really looked into temping etc, I suppose I never thought I would need to. With DS I came off the pill and that was that, but then that was 9 years ago.
I know what you mean with the changing his mind comment though, he has agreed before a couple of times but he changed his mind overnight both times. I will probably make a docs appt soonish to ask the important quetions, although burying my head in the sand seems much more appealing right now blush
I did bring up my concerns with DH last night but he just reminded me that the doc told me it was a common thing etc.. I suppose we will see!

stuffed I am divorced from the father of my child (5). I've gone through the difficulties of being with someone who didn't want a child, and if you are happy in the relationship otherwise (I wasn't) then it's really hard to get a resolution.

If I may make a suggestion, if I were you and your DH has agreed to it, then I would be doing all I could to make sure I knew what was going on inside, so that assuming you keep going with TTC you have the best chance of catching before he changes his mind!

I don't mean to be patronising but do you know about temping, tracking your other fertile signs, etc?

I was incredibly lucky as my DH and I managed to catch first cycle after I had my mirena removed. However, I also was tracking my cycle so we knew exactly when we needed to DTD which gave us a much better chance of it working.

Sadly it isn't always that easy of course, but it may make you feel more in control of the situation. It depends on what you like. Personally, I like to know everything that's going on with my body - some people don't.

I try not to think about the possibility of fertility problems TBH. It would be so upsetting to finally get DH to agree after 8 years and then find it was too late sad

Don't track anything.
This month was fairly doubtful anyway as it was more possible happy accident than trying lol.
DH has been reluctant to try for number 2 for years but has now agreed so.
When I went to the doctor I wasn't expecting to have the option to try so didn't really worry. Although she did give me some hormone related reason as the probable cause, I was too worried about it being something terrible to really listen. I didn't bother to go back once I had found that all the test results were fine.
However I did have a chat with her because I bit down about the whole DH not wanting another thing. Apart from saying that there are lots of reasons to try for another sooner rather than later if we were going to she didn't seem concerned about the bleeding affecting anything.
Can't say it hasn't crossed my mind that it I might not work right down there anymore but will prob TTC for a couple of months before going back I think

OK well that's less likely to be cervical erosion then, which I sometimes get after all that stuff. That's nothing to worry about. Sooooo seems like something I'd REALLY like to work out as if it's hormone related that could impair your ability to conceive of course.

Do you track your other fertile signs? Have you considered going back to docs to find out what it was?

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
