Firstly, sorry if Im turning into an annoying woman posting on here about EVERYTHING I posted last week about pain and light mid cycle bleeding and pain in my boobs, well since then I have also been highly emotional and v tired and although I am only 8DPO I took a test, I was in Boots at lunch, saw they were on offer and couldnt resist.......I know I know I know!
I got a clearblue pink tipped one and as patience is not one of my virtues, and as Im in all afternoon by myself I took the test when I got back to work (again, I know I know,) now I thought I saw a faint positive but the lighting in this place isnt great so by the time I had transported it to my office where there is better light and closed the door about 9-10 mins had passed. The line is thick and solid shaped (not wavy) and blue - the same colour as the vertical line-just very faint. How do I know if it is a BFP or an evap line?

If it's blue i'd say it's a BFP evap lines have no colour. The only thing that can make the line the same colour as the test line is HCG.

Ok, I bought a First Response test this morning and tested and it was a BFN, however I had been a little impatient and tested as soon as I bought it which was only an hour and a half after my first wee of the day. Feeling really disappointed but the line on my clearblue from yesterday (Dont worry I've thrown it away now) is still blue and thick so I called Clearblue and they said to treat that as a positive (as the + line is the same colour and thickness as the - line). But have still heard bad things about clearblue. any advice or opinions???

I found the best tests where those cheapy early ebay tests se here

Or if you can wait i'd wait until the weekend and maybe do a digital? I say wait beause the levels of HCG you need to make a digital say 'pregnant' are higher than the early test ones so you may get a false negative. Good Luck and keep me updated.
