Hi there,

I just wanted to tell you that the books which say that the earliest that symptoms start are 10 days after the conception are in need of updating in my opinion....In my pregnancies I had many of the common symptoms, occuring 3-9 days after the night of the sex. So you fee free to obsess dear girl...it could well be the truth!

hi Pushka, you are so right, with my other 2 dc I definitely had symptoms about 5- 6 days before AF was due - I guess after implantation. What were your first symptoms ? Any others out there on the dreaded 2 ww ?

Hiya, I think I'm about 7-9 days past ovulation. I always test late (ttc number 4) so I may be testing a similar time to some of you lol.

I've had a heavy feeling for a few days now, my boobs feel firmer, almost rounder??? Some niggles too. Really hoping for a bfp rather than a big fat disappointment!

I find the 2ww difficult, the syptom spoting drives me crazy lol, would love to know what everyone else is going through in the 2ww.xxx

Sending you all some babydust .xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning all,

Can I join in?
Im on CD21 of 28. So another week to go! Why do theses weeks really drag!

Had alots of tummy grumbles the past few days and since friday have been really tired and nodding off when DD has her nap. Also Horrible back ache at the bottom, headaches and feeling abit lightheaded.
Sunday I was almost sick a few times... You know that awful back of your throat feeling.

Woke last night with a odd feeling tummy, then DD woke and didnt settle again for another hour [yawn] The joys of teething!
Feeling rather crabby this morning and poor DD is getting a raw deal I think.- Bad mummy

Of course im probably just reading too much into all these!!!

Lissie lou- 4yrs poor you! Im sure it will happen soon for you!

Hi All

I recognise some names from the madness that is the May bus

I'm not sure of my ucl but I'm currently on cd18 and after a weekend of ttc am now waiting......DH is away for the week again so there is nothing else to be done but wait very impatiently and symptom spot like a woman possesed.

Big handfuls of babydust to all of you x

Joolsiam · 01/09/2009 09:57

I've been avoiding the buses - the depression of having to move to another thread time and time again is just too much I was due in May 09 with my worst MC (almost 12 weeks), so have actually hidden that one ! I nearly didn't TTC this cycle, as my due date if I've been successful would be only 2 days away from the EDD of my lost LO and the anniversay of mc (11+5) would co-incide with my 40th birthday.

Sods law probably means I've caught this time then !!

Hi all, can I join in with the craziness please? I think I'll drive DH mad with my obsessive behaviour, posting on here may even be a marriage saver! I'm on CD16 so a looooong way to go before testing.

This is cycle 2 of TTC#2, we weren't very scientific when TTC#1 and was in denial until my AF was 9 days late, as a result this is only my second month of symptom spotting and have no real references. Looking forward to comparing notes with you guys.

Lots of luck to us all! x

joolsiam, im the same. i no longer use the ttc threads because have been here too long and with my history it just gets too much. (9mc's and 1ep)

loujlou - how are you ! How are you Jools - yes it is a bit depressing to be back on another thread isn't it bit hopefully some of us will be lucky this month . I can see why you weren't keen to TTC this month with all the bad memories, I bet you are right though - it will be this month that is your lucky month ! Sweetpeas, we are on the same day of our cycle - when does your AF normally arrive ?
Welcome Pigley and Snowbunny. Pigley your symptoms sound very positive - esp. the backache. Babydust to us all !

Oh Lissielou and I thought I had it bad, with 2 full MC's and two CP's ..

Mousemole - I am having to keep reminding myself that 1 DPO it far too early for symptoms ! I keep imagining abdo pains / mild cramps and am feeling nauseous. Not sure what the pains are all about, but I know that I get nauseous during every 2WW, along with increased sense of smell and it is just standard progesterone increase (not PG related for me unless it continues after around 8DPO)

OracleInaCoracle · 01/09/2009 13:19

jools, it is what it is. have been turned down for IVF so this is our last shot. still have one ds, so should really count our blessings. i too always get nauseous etc during the 2ww, the clomid has definately made it worse!

Report
mousemole · 01/09/2009 14:08

Jools-you are so right about the nausea - I awlays get it the last two weeks of my cycle. BTW did I tell you I had a blood test at doctors which showed vit b defficiency which can cause eary miscarriage ( tick) and difficulty ttc ( tick). Hoping the supplements do the trick !

Mouse - my last cycle was 28 days so I should be due on 14 Sep. I only came off the mini pill at the start of July so I expect it to get a bit shorter and probably settle at 25/26 days. How about you?

Hi everyone - I?m new to mumsnet ! I'm due on the 8th and find the wait a pain! Already obsessively spotting symptoms - backache (I had this with DD1, slight sickness and bloating! Been TTC for two months and felt this way both months! We put off trying for DC2 as DD was conceived on first attempt so very disappointed it didn't happen straight away! Good luck to you all!
