Anyone here get Ovulation pains? If so what do yours feel like?

Im on CD12 and currently have a horrible stomach ache. My hips ache (especially my right) and occassionly get a slight crampy feeling. Had this for about an hour.

Just wondering if this is caused from Ovulation..ie should I get DD to bed pronto and jump on DH!

I always get quite a swollen kind of sensation from the centre of my abdomen across to the side I'm ovulating from .Almost as if I was a bit bruised down there.

I get ovulation pain (mittelschmerz) and it feels like I have pulled a muscle around my hip for a few hours.

If in doubt, jump on your dh

I get ovulation pain. A sharp stabby pain at the front spreading out to my hip. And a feeling a lot like somebody is shoving a hot poker up my bottom.

Showofhands- Im with you on the bottom feelings! Felt shooting pains there earlier!

Well DD is in bed now so think an early night might be in order!

DD is only 13mths but its amazing how quickly you forget all this TTC stuff!

Ditto with the shooting pains but feel them more in the cervix area aswell as bottom. For me 'it all' feels like it moves downwards so I have to sit down more carefully. Usually last an hour or so of the shooting pain but usually feel a bit bloated for the 24 hours surrounding it...
Used to get this in early twenties then seemed to go off for a few years but since having DS at 27 I get them EVERY month without fail, like clockwork even when I was on mirena...

You'd think it's a perk knowing you are ovulating but I certainly wouldn't be trying any bump and grind during that 24 hours as it's sooo uncomfortable... Thankfully either side of that should be ok.
Desperately broody but we are trying to wait to TTC till Nov/Dec...
