Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

Well done babyblue.....just impatiently waiting for the holiday house guests to leave so I can go in and clean! Have done one house already.....fingers tapping..... Then I'm allowed to collapse in a heap!

MrsD - Nesting already!! LOL. I started nesting early this time around, and then had another round of it the week I gave birth. My poor DH was complaining that his 'honey-do' list kept getting longer the more things he did!

Had a good day with the boy today He must be going through a growth spurt because he has been sleeping quite a bit. Makes for an easier day, thats for sure. Too bad he is still fussy when he is awake. Was able to go on our first outing today to a family BBQ, which was quite nice. Adult conversation, good food, and had my first nice cold beer in over a year ... cant go wrong! Not to mention, there were plenty of eager arms to hold the baby!!

Hi girls marking the thread, had a crazy w/e with friends. You know you are drunk when you sing xmas songs in August lol! Oh dear!

Babyblue, yay on the sleeping. It may be colic, I hope it goes soon.xx ~It must be so lovely having a new baby! I LOVE new baby smell and new baby feet. And I especially love when they have finished feeding and arch their heads back with little grumpy faces!!! Aweeee!!! One day for me....

MrsD, how far along are you, have a happy healthy pg.

Hi to everyone else.

Yey new thread that loads straight away and doesn't crash my computer

All this baby talk is making me even more broody! I seem to be surrounded by babies at the moment! My best friend is 16 weeks pregnant, my next door neighbour had a baby last week and a couple of other friends have recently had babies!! It doesn't bother me, it's lovely for them. I know it will happen for me eventually and it's not like I don't have 3 to keep me busy already.

I'm child free tonight, my youngest and eldest have gone away to Norfolk for a few days with my Mum to stay with my brother, sounds like they are having a great time on the beach and having fun. Middle DD didnt go as she had dancing commitments but she's sleeping at a friends tonight so just me and DH V relaxing!

Haven't booked yet but we're hoping to go on holiday week after next, gonna surprise the kids the day before and tell them to get packed, I'm looking at Cyprus but as long as it has a beach and a pool I'll be happy. It's been a few years since we went abroad and we deserve it!

CD5 today, holiday coincides with fertile times so roll on

Kat - nice about the holidays. I am hoping that DH and I can sneak away to Las Vegas for a few days with his sister and her family. It all depends if I can convince my mom to come and stay with all 4 kids! LOL... the more you have the harder it is to pawn them off!!

So my little guy was circumsized today, so he is not very happy. Hopefully the Tylenol will help him get some sleep tonight, or we are in for it! We did take him to the BF clinic today and they weighed him. The little beast is now 9lbs 7oz, which is a gain of over 2lbs in just 3 weeks! No wonder my BBs cant keep up!

So how is everyone else??? Thread is quiet lately. When does everyones DCs go back to school? Mine don't start back until September 8th this year... a little later than usual... lucky them!

New thread

Am on 2ww but don't feel very hopeful although am now starting to panic if I go get a BFP, there's no going back then is there? Some days I am like bring it on, other days I think I must be insane, 3 is really hard as it is. I won't feel pregnant until I feel the baby kick as unfortunately I know a BFP doesn't always mean a baby. What am I like?

babyblue - glad LO is doing well

Hi Just popping my head in here, but am taking a month off of ttc, my body has had enough of being pg then not for so long.

Babyblue - hope that the soy formula has helped?

SK - hope that you get your bfp, but that you don;t panic!

kat - have a great holiday

meanbeans - lol at xmas songs in august!

Rainbow, I do feel xmas looming once sept hits. A month off sounds like a great idea ~(((((((hugs)))))))).

Babyblue, how is the little one now? He must be getting big now and filling out those newborn wrinkles.

Sweetkitty, I get exactly what you mean, some days I am desperate to have another little baby kicking and other days I think 'oh dear god, what on earth am I doing'!!!!

Kat have a wonderful holiday.

All is well here, been at it like rabbits, 3 times a day somedays. Still don't think it will make a difference because of the breastfeeding but a suprise would be nice....and if all else fails my sex life is good lol.

Meansbeans - wow 3 times a day, I am impressed with so many children around!!!! However my problem this month is how to keep away from dh during the fertile time!!!

Report
Meanbeansmum · 23/08/2009 21:17

Rainbow lol, mostly a morning session when the children are still asleep and two evening sessions. Although we occassionally manage it when the baby is asleep and the boys are engrossed in playdough or glitter lol. Bit naughty really but rare.

Rainbow, you will feel better ttc next month after not obsessing or worrying this month. Hugs.x

Scorps - glad baby doing well and that you are managing with your DH situation. You are a strong woman! Keep it up

My DS2 will be a month old tomorrow! Wow! Time flies when you are sleep deprived and knee deep in nappies!! He is still fussy, but has gotten a little better. We switched him to lactose free formula and I stopped taking in any dairy as well. Not sure if this has helped much... will be seein my doc tomorrow.

Sweet kitty! Whoop, congratulations! That's amazing news! Sending you some sticky vibes!

My 2ww is going to go on forever! LOL. Can you tell I'm impatient lol! I'm buying ov sticks next month to see if I am or if I'm not lol!

Does anyone know if I can take angus castus when bfing? Potentioally only for the first few days of next month. I bet I can't lol!

I'm aching down their already, super analysing everything!

DS1 started swimming lessons today, he went in at Level 2 and the teacher was getting him to show the other kids how to float on their backs without a floating aid. It was too cute. Very proud mummy moment.

Hasn't august gone quickly (sorry random observation lol).

How's everyone doing?

babyblue - due 8th May

meanbeansmum - I bought some opks and tests from ebay as I was still Bfing and had a chemical pregnancy beginning of the month, 2WW sucks

Thanks ladies it's nice to be amongst mums of 4, sometimes I feel odd having 3 nevermind 4

May babies are sooo nice! My DD1 is a May baby, and if I could have planned the others better, I would have liked them to be spring babies as well. I really did not like being preggers in the summer as I am normally hot all the time. I was so thankful that it didn't get too hot here until after my DS2 was born, or I would have truly suffered. Hope all goes well for you. And I know what you mean about talking to other 'mad' mommies! LOL. I love this thread! Most of my friends have 2 kids or less and have no idea the frustrations of having a full house!

Means - Hehe.. I know you are a POAS addict, so I am waiting to see how long you can hold out!!!
