Morning
applesaretheonlyfruit - sod it, just come and join me on the May bus. There's only you and me here and lets be honest, neither of us are going to be having an April baby

.
MrsRigby!!! I am still on this thread. There is no other bus that will take me where I want to go.
Hi Emmajlh, I have been "lucky" enough to have both types of miscarriage, a mc, where the yolk/sac didn't develop, which I didn't know about until bleeding at 8wks, and a mmc, where the baby did develop and their was a hb on a 7wk scan, but slow, and had stopped by 8wks. There was no bleeding, and might not have been any until 12 weeks or so. Therefore I had an ERPC.
With the mc at 8wks, I didn't have any pain or cramping, just the blood turned up.
If yours is only spotting (and only when you wipe, etc), then I would think it still looks positive.. if the spotting turned into more, then that is a different story.
I know it is horrible, made worse by the not knowing. Try and get an early scan.. if you have to, say you are in pain..
congrats trying4no1 great to see a few bfps still rolling through the doors!
Evening - not that there's really anyone left on this thread

.
I've just come back from the shops, where I brought 4 pregnancy tests - Clearblue. DH wasn't that impressed with me spending £25.00+ on them, but hopefully he'll forget all about it when he see's two lovely blue lines - until of course when he checks the bank balance and then I'll just have to make him forget again with a blow-job

.
I've brought two normal ones and two digital with conception indicator, but I'm definately not going to test again until 1st September. I am not putting myself through that again

.
Okay so symptom spotting today and I'm still having cramping, I feel uncomfortable and I've got a big blue vein and little lumps on my breasts. I just don't know.
I'll bet you any bloody money that AF visits me whilst I'm away next week.
hi all,
i'm 5 weeks pergnant and have been having spotting for past 4 days. No pain or cramping and feel absolutely fine. Went to the docs yesterday just to be safe and he wasn't concerned at all as there was no pain with the spotting. It is brownish in colour and only when i wipe (!). The doctor reckons it will stop in a few days.
I'm still really worried though and i'm wondering if i should take it easy and if that would make a difference - but that would be suggesting that spotting and miscarriage are connected - which i don't think they are?
Anyone else experiencing spotting? I wish it would stop!! I want to get excited about being pregnant but i just can't until i get to the 12 week scan which just feels like a lifetime away!!
Thank you both! Still doesn't seem very real yet. Just want to tell everyone but at the same time don't really in case something happens and it'll be nice to have a secret with DH that no one else knows. You'll both have to let me know how you get on!!!!!! Hoping for BFP for you both!!!!!
tryingforbaby1 many congratulations, this is brilliant news

.
Just you and me now
applesaretheonlyfruit
. It will be you next and then I'll be on my own

.
Haha, I'm trying for no3 and, trust me, you don't get any more rational..
Your dh will probably spend the entire pregnancy in shock, when you present the baby to him, it kind of sinks in then..
Yes it is which may help towards explaining the irrational behaviour.

Is this your first??
Contratulations Trying4Baby1!.. Another BFP!! Get yourself over to the due 2010 thread. Even after testing, its irrational to retest, and then maybe retest again, just to be sure... but I have done that myself. And you can see the line getting darker.
Hiya all, decided what the hell I'll do a test so did one this morning and BFP!!! Still can't believe it. OMG well no going back now .

Showed DH as I hadn't even told him I was testing just incase I got a BFN. He just looked like he was in shock. Line wasn't really dark and I know that doesn't matter but going to do another test on Sunday as it should be more pronounced and might help it sink in a bit more!!
Still can't believe it but had to tell someone so you guys are my someone. Feel sorry for DH as we decided not to tell anyone till after first scan and that would be ages away. Never mind he's better at keeping a secret than me!
Well, you could, but might be 2 days too early, then a BFN would be a downer..and if AF turns up by Sunday, it won't matter.
The testing problem is an issue.,, last time I tested from day 8 after ov'ed, and it was a waste of time until day 28, but I have a slightly shorter cycle (or did).
I am not going to stand in the way of an individual's right to pee on a stick, though.
Aaargh, I don't know what to do now. I was going to test tomorrow morning!
Hi!
Yes, I'm about 27ish as well, but after my mmc and ERPC this would be my first period since then, so system may be a bit haywire.
I would also be due 30 April if this works out...
I am going to wait until Sunday to test. Unless I change my mind. No, Sunday. Let's wait together.
I've recently come off the pill so no idea of UCL but I always used to be about the same time each month before starting on the pill (from what I remember) so I think I'm probably 28-30.
I think I'm just going to test tomorrow morning (if I remember) and if it BFN then fine. At least then I can stop obsessing for a few more days again! Well maybe

trying4baby1 so nice to speak to someone on this thread

.
I've no idea what CD I'm on

, I forgot to write down when AF visited and so now I've no bloody (pardon the pun) idea where I am. All I can remember is that my period lasted for about 6-7 days finishing at the end of last month. So I've no idea if I'm even on the right bus

. At a guess I'd say I was about CD26/27 too.
Yesterday I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant as I felt sick in the morning, however, this morning nothing. I'm still having cramping (though not as much), blue veins on both my breasts (but I've only just stopped breastfeeding a month ago), sore ribs (I blame DH for that) and feeling uncomfortable when sitting down. Most of the time I just feel pregnant, but maybe that's because I want it so much.
I'm with you on not knowing when to test as I have PCOS which complicates matters. I think I'll wait until 1st September - if I can

. It's so hard not to test though, the not knowing is horrible - it drives you insane. You could always test tomorrow, but it might be too early - what's your UCL?
I have my fingers crossed for you.
I suspect I may be the only one left on this thread in about a weeks time

.
Hiya MrsRigby what's your CD? I'm getting a few symptoms only problem is many of the symptoms could also mean arrival of AF. Relatively new to all this TTC business. I'm CD27 just now and I'm really tempted to test tomorrow but looking for advice. Do you think it's too early?
Evening everyone - oh it's just you and me
applesaretheonlyfruit and
trying4baby1
.
applesaretheonlyfruit it sounds very positive for you, hopefully it was an implantation bleed. I have my fingers crossed for you.
porcupine11 congratulations.
grinningbee fingers crossed for next time, hopefully I'll see you on another thread.
I keep switching between thinking I'm pregnant and trying to accept that I'm not. DH, DS and I are going down to Cornwall for a week next week and I just know AF will pick then to turn up. I really hope I'm pregnant, although god knows when I should test.
Fingers crossed to anyone else still here.
Looks like I'm on my own now though!

Hiya apples you're not speaking to yourself, I'm still on board!! If I get a BFP then I'll be due about 30th April according to all those due date predictors you get online so I'm still here just now. Currently sitting at CD27 and so tempted to test tomorrw but was trying to hold out till Sunday.
I take it you're still waiting to test too? Not many of us here still left to test and it does feel like everyone's slowly abandoning us!! Cheer up you're not on your own yet!

I am on my own... even the driver has buggered off.. I think I will jump on the seats.
You know what, Apples? I think I will test on Saturday.. or Sunday.
Really Apples? Is that a good idea??
I don't know, Apples, but it beats sitting here talking to myself...
Hi everyone,
Probably waving to an empty bus, but anyway.. Only really about 5 to 6 days left for us early testers to find out if we are on the April bus.
I was planning to test on Friday, 14 days after ov'ed (I think, after mmc), but I have had the palest, slightest, smallest bleed on Monday, then Tuesday, then today. But no actually AF... no idea what's happening.
Will probably be sitting here on my own for a bit.
emmajlh, i ate blue cheese with a glass of wine last night - hic
Hi ladies,
I am leaving the ttc thread for now.
My periods are still haywire since having dd 19 weeks ago. I'm having bleeding every week

since the bleeding stopped after birth at 11 weeks!
Until it settles down I can't really say where I am in the cycle.
Bugger. I'm really cheesed off, and feel like dd will be an only child at this rate.
I'm sorry to hear about your BFN MrsRigby, but don't despair yet. I had 4 or 5 negatives from testing early, and then a faint positive, and then two days after AF a BFP!! Now it's almost a week since AF was due, so I'm adding myself to the graduates list, hooray.
In the meantime, I've been weeping - sobbing - over a Julia Donaldson picture book about snails and a whale, which is possibly more of a BFP than a blue line...
Macana, how are you getting on, I haven't read the thread for ages?

Why did I do it?
Do what I hear you ask.
Take a pregnancy test - a BFN.
Honestly, sometimes my stupidity amazes me. I mean what the hell did I think was going to happen. DH and I have only been trying 2 weeks, I have PCOS and I don't think I'm anywhere near due a period.
So again I ask why did I do it, especially as I'm now sitting here miserable, thinking it's never going to happen and almost ready to give up.
I'll tell you why I did it, because I'M CONVINCED I'M PREGNANT

.
Why am I convinced, I don't really know considering it took us about 2-2 1/2 years to conceive last time, but the lower abdominal cramping might be a good place to start.
It's entirely possible I am pregnant, given that last time I knew as soon as I'd conceived. It might be that I tested wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too early.
This is not my fault. I want to be pregnant. I am doing everything I can to get pregnant including having sex every other day, taking metformin and prenatal vitamins, trying to follow a healthy diet and abstaining from caffiene. It is not my fault I have PCOS, it's not something I asked for. It is out of my hands that DS goes to nursery in November, I have to go back to work and even if by some miracle I did get pregnant the baby would not be born soon enough to stop DS going. Idealy another baby would have been conceived sooner to stop there being such an age gap, but that wasn't possible.
It is not my fault, I'm doing everything I can. It's just so bloody annoying.
On the plus side DS is taking a nap.
Evening everyone

I'm being rather naughty at the moment and working my way through a box of AfterEight's.
I'm sure I'm pregnant, the past couple of days I've had some sort of wierd feeling down there and lower abdominal cramping. Today just standing up was making my back ache and my right ribs are uncomfortable.
sweetpeasmum I'm on the May bus also.
trying4baby1 it's not over till the fat lady sings or you get your period. Fingers crossed for you.
sweetpeasmum I might be joining you on the May bus soon.
In the meantime I've updated my stats

It seems the April bus is not for me. Good luck to everyone, I'm off to the May bus.
Enjoy the beer
lizkin you deserve it and fingers crossed for May. I'm on the May bus only

.
Hello again,
well, my hopes were founded on nothing it appears - AF has come

Just as I was starting to think this might be our month.
Better luck to you all, I'm off to get on the May bus. And I think I'll have a beer tonight (really throwing caution to the wind, eh?).
Cheers,
Morning everyone

Good for you
applesaretheonlyfruit, fingers crossed for next Friday.
I have been quite good. Was in a shopping area yesterday afternoon, surrounded by "dealers" of pregnancy tests (boots/superdrug etc) and I DID NOT purchase anything one needs to pee on..
AF is due next Friday, and I am going to try very hard to wait..
Evening everyone

Not looking forward to tonight, DH and I are having sex (the sooner I'm pregnant the better, I can have another 15+ months rest). I just pray it's over quickly. I might give him a blow job to speed up the process

.
Okay so symptom spotting today and I have an absent period - I wasn't due (actually no idea when I'm due), dull sharp cramp like discomfort to the left lower abdomen, a long blue vein on my left breast, a couple of spots on my face and insane hunger as soon as I get up in the mornings

.
emmajlh I've stopped drinking caffiene, so no coke or coffee and limited chocolate

. So no, I'm still very strict (and I'm not even pregnant yet ... or am I), though I'm a vegetarian so I don't have to worry about a lot of stuff. Anyway, congratulations

.
elliemama I've cut more of my hair off today, it's very addictive! I quite fancy shaving it all off, but I'm pretty sure DH would divorce me on grounds of insanity.
Fingers crossed for you next month
rubena.

Congratulations emmajlh - hope the ginger biscuits help!!
Mrs Rigby, are you sure looking like a sumo is a good thing when you're trying to conceive??!

I know how you feel about hairdressers tho!! I've finally found 2 that are ok... 1 is very expensive and a bit arty but we have fab chats about stuff and the other is nice, cheap and friendly. Thought I'd alternate! But anyway feeling like my hair looks ok def makes me feel better about myself and life in general. I think its important that we look after ourselves when dealing with all the emotional ups and downs that come with TTC and motherhood in general!

hi all,
Well i'm definately on this bus!! due date is 20th April!
Having some nausea in the afternoons around 3-5pm so need to go and buy some ginger biscuits as that did the trick with DD. I was only sick once in last mlast pregnancy and i think that had more to do with a dodgy salad than the pregnancy.
In my last pregnancy i followed all the 'food rules' but this time around i don't feel as inclined to. I've already eaten pate.
Is anyone else being a bit more lax with the food rules second time around?
Incidentally, I cut off half my hair earlier (head not pubic, I shaved that off with DH shaver last week), DH was not amused in the least. I have my hair up and DH say's I look like a sumo westler. I don't care, I never wear it down anymore on account of DS pulling it and I'll be buggered if I'm going to pay someone £25.00 + tips for some unwanted smalltalk and a bad haircut. So I did it myself. I don't care, it's hair, it'll grow back.
Hair today, gone tomorrow (I can hear you all moaning, yeh, that was quite bad).
Evening everyone.
DH has buggered off out for a meal and drinks with friends, so no sex tonight. Though considering sperm can survive for up to 5 days inside a womans uterus (DH and I last had sex on Wednesday) and an orgasim helping get the sperm to the egg, I might do a little DIY tonight

.
norfolkmummy and
ilove2shop better luck next month, I have my fingers crossed for you. I'm on the May bus also

.
Elliemama I'm so sorry. Jesus getting pregnant is hard enough without mother nature throwing an extra spanner in the works. I mean for fecks sake, if the sperm meets the egg that should be the end of the matter - pregnancy

. Don't know if I'll ever be able to look at a BFP in the same way, that is, if I ever get one

.
Mrs Rigby I think its called a chemical pregnancy. Egg gets fertilized so test picks up hormonal changes but then if egg doesn't embed you get period....

booo AF got me, see you on the May bus!
I am just home after a few days away and glad to see some more BFP's yay!
My body continued to play tricks on me, pregnancy symptoms, BFN, late af - then v light spotting when I went to the loo and I thought maybe implantation but again BFN. I had no further bleeding for 36 hours then OMG af arrived with a vengeance

At least I know where I am now and will be joining the May bus but will hang around here to check up on other peoples news!
Good Luck all x.
Hi everyone,
I am on the 2ww too now. I think AF should arrive next Friday, if I got the dates right after mmc. Will NOT be testing beforehand.
So who is testing next week??
Evening everyone, hope your all having a good one.
Elliemamma I don't want to seem insensitive, but are you sure AF has definately arrived for a visit. How the hell do you get several BFP's if your not pregnant? I know, I know, being a woman I should know this

.
Beanmum I'm on the May bus also

, I'll see you there

.
Rainbowdays I can't put in words how sad I am that your going through a MC. Hope this will do

.
Last night was just pointless. DH and I had an early night and BD. Very traumatic as it lasted far longer than I wanted - 14 minutes

. It didn't help that he was on top (it's got to be said I'm very lazy) and almost broke my ribcage, all day today my ribs have been a bit sore. Anyway DS just didn't want to sleep last night and started screaming not long after we had finished BD. The result was DH trying to calm DS, whilst I ran downstairs to grab a bottle of milk and sperm dripping down my leg (way TMI - so sorry), so uttely pointless last night. Just as well I'm already pregnant

.
Congratulations
macana
Many congratulations
macana
. Doesn't matter how faint a line it is, it's a line, your going to be a mummy again.
You can add yourself to the graduates list now

.
That's brilliant news, be as excited as you want. I'm so happy for you.
OH MY GOD!!!! Ignore previous post....just did a better pg test (glutton for punishment!) and....BFP!!! Well, not such a FP as a faint line, but even so.....AF due tomorrow, so probably low levels.
I am in total shock. And trying not to get overexcited, especially as DH not home for about 2 hours and so I can't tell anyone (except you lovely ladies). Will retest in the am, but a line's a line...right???
elliemama so sorry, I didn't even think you could get false positives!!!
I'm almost resigning myself to the May bus....pretty sure AF is on her bloody way. Really tried not to test this month, but am a complete masochist, so did it anyway, and one three tests later feel more sorry for myself for being so stupid as well as not pregnant!!
Beanmum and Rainbowdays sorry to hear your bad news too guys... lets hope we all have better luck next time! XX

Just having another miscarriage, so updating list and taking my name off.

Oh no, Elliemama - really sorry, that's awful

Mine has just arrived too - 4 days late - and i'm actually really glad to see it as i kept getting bfns and knew i wasn't pg this month.
Good luck to all those still to test - I'm off to the may bus.
AF has now arrived despite several BFPs....

Congratulations to all graduates tho and goodluck for those still waiting.

Really hoping I'm pregnant this month. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks to pass to see if AF turns up

I think that sounds positive
Loujalou my fingers are crossed for you and for everyone else.
I'm off to bed now as DH want's an early night. I don't know why as he only lasts 3 minutes, though for me it does seem that much more longer

.
Might take the laptop up with me, it'll give me something to do to take my mind off what I'm doing.
Next time I might just have IVF, not as traumatic, he can just put it in a cup and the doctors and impregnate me

.
My friend only BD once and it did the trick. Think my af is definitely on way now. Though only a small amount of blood (TMI). Sorry.
Am I being totally deluded by thinking it could be implantation (14 dpo). Think I am deluded.
Mrs R we only bd'd twice around my ov date and we got pregnant, only takes once as they say!
good luck to anyone due to test in next wee while :-)
James Bernard Rigby
Lucky boy!! What is DS 1 called?
Per Hour
In case your wondering what the P H stands for, they will be Miles' middle names.
Too middleclass, I agree and that's exactly why I want it.
I don't mind admitting I'm a snob and an eletist. Even if I can't spell the latter one right

.
Miles P. H. Rigby, ah don't you just think lawyer or doctor.
When DS#2 is born, I'll go register his name without DH knowing. That way he'll be called Miles and there will be nothing DH can do about it

.
Mrs Rigby we liked the name Miles too. Although I'm not 100% sure... My DH loves it! One of our friends says its too middleclass tho??!!
DS is napping again - yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (please if there is any god let it be 2 hours).
Welcome
Sweetpeasmum
Your in the wrong thread if you don't want to symptom spot, oh hang on no that's me

.
Good luck.
Hi every one, I've just found this thread and would like to join if I may. I am resisting the temptation to test and am trying not to symptom spot too much.

DS is sucking on the packet of Pregnacare tablets, I won't take them away from him as he'll scream the house down and I have a headache - besides he's now accepting mashed food with lumps in and the vitamins can only do him good.
Oh wait no, he's now fiddling about with DH new blu-ray DVD player. We got the black one (I'm not being racist, I just wanted it to match the TV which is black and also a Samsung). It's the one that has the flip down thing that covers the buttons. We thought brilliant, this is for us, this will stop DS playing with the buttons. Only DS isn't bothered about the buttons, DS loves the flap and the flap on the Sky+ box covering the card.
Can we all please take a minute of silence for the DVD player and the Sky+ box.
Okay, he's now on to the metformin tablets (for any PCOS women, I'm on 850mg bd). On a happy note he's now relinqished the pregnacare tablets. Just goes to show that DS didn't inherit my genes and that men are inept at doing 2 things at once.
Morning everyone
I've now come to the realisation that I either have cancer of the womb or I'm pregnant

.
Last night I actually managed to convince myself for about 40 minutes that I was neither, though I still sat on the couch with DH, with my hands on my tummy.
Last night DH and I were supposed to be having sex, but he said he was too tired - even though he got an erection (sorry TMI). So we never did it. I mean SERIOUSLY how the hell does he think babies are conceived

. All I got out of him last night and this morning was apology after apology and "my fishies stay around for 5 days don't they".
I couldn't sleep last night, well I did but it took me a good 2 hours to get to that point. Thinking over and over, what if I have already ovulated and we've missed another chance, what if tomorrow is too late. We're trying for a baby, but we've only had sex twice since starting last Saturday.
Anyway...
I've updated my stats.

Hiya everyone, it's ages since I've posted on here. Been a bit busy as my mother in law just got married at the weekend. Hoping we haven't missed ovulation this month as I was at my most fertile at the weekend but we had loads of people staying with us and ended up having to sleep in the sitting room with the dog. Kind of calmer about the whole thing this month compared to last. Will just make it onto the April bus if I am pregnant and I'm determined to not test early this time as I was so disappointed last month. How's everyone? Lots of graduates from this month! MrsGiles I'm the same as you and just waiting to get kicked off onto the May bus.
He'd be happy to name a son Giles though!!!
Porcupine11, dh and I already have names for our next 3 boys and girls - we agreed on them not long after our first date

James
Thomas
William
Emily
Isabel
Rose
Unfortunately, we can't agree on the name Miles. I absolutely love it, but dh is against it as he believes a ds named Miles would be bullied at school. He's now even vetoed it as a middle name. Not that I ever wanted middle names, but he put his foot down.
Hope no one minds, but I'm adding myself to the list. I'll bugger off to the May bus for good if nothing happens this month.

well to be fair to my poor dh I was telling him about the line over the phone, and that was after 6 negatives where I'd tryed to convince myself that random watermarks were faint lines!
when he saw the test after work he agreed that it was a proper line and was very excited.
i think a faint line is a positive, but if testing before AF, you never know if the egg will implant properly - don't something like 50% of fertilized eggs just pass through? so i'm not going to get too excited until about this time next week, if AF hasn't arrived.
and thinking about possible names is absolutely, positively not getting excited...
Think i might be on this bus! have had 2 faint positives. AF due today but not arrived. Don't feel pregnant and haven't had any symptons whatsoever so in some ways i'll be gobsmacked if AF doesn't arrive in the next few days.
is a faint positive a positive?
NewMember, UmBongo and possibly Beanmum - I'm already on the May bus!
Ah the joy of PCOS [SAD]
Hello everyone,
So good to see yet more grads

Af due for me today - nothing yet, but think I can feel it on the way. Did a test on fri and was neg

so think i'll be off to the may bus shortly. Feel a little more resilient about the whole thing this month. On the upside, just back from a fab holiday - ds was on hilarious and very cheering form.
Good luck to everyone still waiting to test.
porcupine!!!!! amazing news!!! oh god, am now hoping that all my embarrassing crying is also good sign as it was for you, plus the fact that I am sooooooo tired it's ridiculous. But not getting my hopes up - very unlikely to also get BFP, too many this month on MN!!!
SO happy for you, clearly preggers - a line, as we all know (but not your Dh, doh!) is a positive.
Woo hoo!!!
Congratulations to all the new graduates, AF has got me so I am off to the May bus. Onwards and upwards, now cycle 15 Grrr. However have bought thermometer and Ov poas kit for this month as am getting just a little cheesed off at long wait for #2.
Cheerio
Porcupine 11 - the same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with ds, a very faint line and I was pregnant.
I must have been the only person on the planet to have just done 1 pregnancy test

Congratulations mummy.
Hi Ladies!
Holiday was gd, great to get some sunshine!
AF turned up while on holiday. It was a strange one tbh - while on holiday I noticed changes in my breast and also felt bloated (was getting excited) - I even fainted (which i have never done) So adding this all up I thought i would be getting a bfp but nop AF arrived! It was only heavy for 1 day tho and lasted in total about 3 - so quite short for me!
Strange! If I dont feel 100% in a few days I will test! My AF means AF - so doubt it!
Hope u r all well
Although, obviously he gets lots of brownie points for, er, helping..
Hi porcupine11, you should probably prepare for the worst - your dh is a bit simple, because you are actually pregnant..
oooh how exciting porcupine!! I just bought 2 of the el cheapo Boots tests, and I'm tempted, however I am not due until Thurs and I know I o'ed late (19th) so doubtful I'd get anything right? When did you O if you do't mind me asking?
my hopes are up my hopes are up! just got faintest line 2 days before AF due, but definitely a line unlike the last 6 4 tests.
my dh won't hear a word of it and is trying to get my hopes back in the right place, which means the only place i can share them is here!!
Can I please join the list, please, pretty please

Trying to conceive number 2.
Added myself.

Hey LeeWT, I'm starting to feel more normal now. Took three weeks for the hormones to go down after ERPC and I think I ov'ed this weekend. Have covered that possibility.. Now a two week wait.. Ov stick is now negative, so I think I caught it. Dh has been stood down.
All a bit anticlimatic now, must retrain brain so that when go to the loo I do not assume the "weeonstickposition"..
porcupine you are a crazy testing woman after my own heart!!!!! AF due for me on friday - already did one last week, soooooo stupid!! Cheapie ones are absolutely fine, a line is a line. No point paying more - especially if you go through them as quick as you or I do!!
Fingers crossed for BFPs this week.....
Oh thanks
Porcupine! I am on a similar time line as you I think. AF due Thursday, but I think I am going to buy some cheepie tests today and do an early one

of course it's not rude! i moved you up to the middle so you are in the right order and changed everyone's days! haven't got time this morning though as implementing new nap regime and have to wake DS now...
have wasted 4 tests over the weekend

AF not due until Weds, so good to see earlier comments about faint or no lines until after AF due. last time i only tested after missing AF by one week, so it was one test, one BFP, done and dusted. am using cheapie tests from Sainsbury at least.
Sorry I was a bit presuming when I went and added myself to the list here being brand new. I hope I didn't seem too rude? I would love to join.
Well CD 24 here and I keep imagining things I think. I know O was day 19 so too early for signs I suppose right? My UCL has been 26-27 days but only 3rd af since it returning so not sure if it's regular. Hope not as otherwise my LP will be way too short.
Hope all are well

apples how are you feeling post mmc? i know it was 6 weeks til i got a period so safest thing would be to bd every couple days to hedge your bets..
elliesmama if you look back my posts were very similar, i got extremely faint lines a couple of days before af due on clear blue plus. i too have spent a fortune on tests and after a bit of a scare on friday with severe cramping i went out and bought a clear blue digital and it came up nice and clear - Pregnant and 4-5 weeks! tbh only time tells but if you've had a line it would be worth the money on a first response or clear blue but be warned it took a few days for mine to get heavier.. tentative congrats, keep us posted!
norfolkmummy enjoy the break away and fingers crossed. you could bring one test and then you wont waste it too early..
Thanks norfolkmummy and apples... I've wasted so much money on tests tho but I guess I'm going to have to get another pack in. Goodluck for your test on fri norfolk. Apples I hope you managed to track down DH in time

Hi Ellie. Norfolkmummy is right, test again this morning! A line is a line.
Sounds good to me Elliemama! I got faint lines day after af was due when I had DS and DD and I tested for 2-3 days after and the lines gradually got darker.
I would defo get another test and try first thing one morning as HCG levels are highest then. Good Luck

Hello everyone, I just did a normal preg test, two days before AF due and got the faintest ever line!!!! Does this mean BRP? God I bloody hope so... been trying for a year now and was just starting to despair... I know its too early to celebrate but.... I can't help feeling a little over excited.

Hi everyone
I think I could still make April 10. 20 days post ERPC and, finally yesterday, no BFP. Today pos ov test, so here's hoping.
Apples TTC#3 Cycle 2 UCL 28 CD14
I have put my cycle day as 14, although after the mmc it is 21, which was down to the raised hormones..
Have just realised, after getting pos ov test, and posting about this, there is something else I need to do, >starts to wander around looking for dh with purposeful air<
Thanks for the kind welcome LEEWT.
Still no sign of af which is good, I think? Kind of wish it would come so that I know all is working well but obviously would REALLY love a BFP. We are away for a few days next week and I am not going to take any tests with me as I will only obsess - think I am more likely to need the Tampax!
If no sign of af by Friday I think I will test again. Feel fine today, no symptoms atall I just still have (and apologies if tmi) really erect nipples

!!
How is everyone else today?
Hi silverstuddedblue, I've just got my bfp after over a year of trying. Pretty convinced I have short leutal phase, normally 8 - 9 days. Absolutely amazed I got bfp this month as completely convinced I was going to need help to concieve. Was about to start investigations this month for infitility.... Don't you just hear that all the time.
Anyway just wanted to say I've got my bfp without any help and without any changes. There's so much negative stuff written about lpd, no one ever shares their successes!
Hope you get yours soon xx
hi, can I hop aboard, please? I'm new to posting too. DD (age5) is desperate for a sibling, and I'd love DC#2 too. Cycle 8

UCL 25 CD 12. does anyone know how to manage short luteal phase?
welcome norfolkmummy~ if youre looking for obsessive and crazy company you are on the right bus. some lovely ladies on the may bus too so if this isnt the month you have them!
your symptoms sound promising, nothing will tell but time now. i got a bfp on cd 28 and then a bfp couple days after. the only thing ive learned ttc is that you are in control of NOTHING and its just a case of seeing if AF turns up. Very best of luck and lashings of ***************babydust****************
Hiya, I am new and this is my first post!
I currently have DS6 and DD4 and am ttc#3

.
It has been lovely following this website and in particular this thread over the past few weeks and to know that I am not alone

It is hard when you dont have any friends who are going through the same emotions as you.
This is our first month of trying and did a FR test today CD28 but BFN. Still hope as no af yet but think my cycle is all over the place as I was on microgynon for around 9 months before ttc. I have been waking in the night occasionaly for a wee and have also felt a little icky when I lay down and have had 2 dizzy spells this week - all unlike me but tbh I just DONT feel pregnant atall so think the test must be right its a BFN.
I wanted to try for number3 for sometme but it never seemed right time- I wonder if I am just a little stressed about it and thats why I have been feeling odd. I must try to keep calm.
Anyway, I thought I would join the April bus-just incase!!!
thanks porcupine...as you say, fingers crossed for next week. Is it just me or does the waiting take longer each month???
Hi, just wanted to update the CDs, as at first glance I thought damn, I'm not making much progress through these 2WW!

Hello,
Thought I'd join you if it's ok? I've been trying to work out all the lingo so here goes.
TTC#2 C2 UCL26? CD21
I O'd on CD19 so unless my C is longer this month it would mean an extremely short L/phase, but only had 2 AF since it returned from after dc1 so expect it's irregular however the first 2 were bang on 26 days... hope it's irregular otherwise L/phase only 7 days which is not ideal I've heard!

I remember last time on my birthday crying as I thought I would never get pregnant. It must have been day 27/28.
This cycle I have nothing but it is only day 20. Think its not my month this month. Then I am always the pessimist. My ways of dealing with it all. Last two months I got all excited - and it all came to nothing.
Why is the 2WW such a stress. Hopefully this time next week it'll be over as always get some bleeding before af.
I'm gone. Boo. AF got me this morning. BIG shock as really thought this would be my month. So I start IVF in Sept. Ugh.
I guess that'll eventually put me on a June bus - really hope I won't be seeing any of you there (in a nice way!!). Good luck and baby dust to you all.....
N x

ok, Am out, 4 days early which completely buggers up this month as I'm gonna be away now smack bang at wrong time.
fuck I hate TTC

Good luck to everyone else, might go lurk on May for a while.
macana, I was wondering the same when I had tears streaming down my face listening to the released US journalists yesterday. I'm on day 22.
Wracking my brain to remember if I had early symptoms with my first pregnancy, but i can't remember when the emotional stage kicked in. i do remember being v tired and ratty while out shopping (for a wedding dress of all things) at cycle day 28ish. i am feeling tired now, but not that ratty.
Next week all will be revealed! Let's keep our fingers crossed for each other, and a tissue on hand at all times!
oh, and sweetkitty, can I have that link please...the rate I`m going through tests I think I-d better buy in bulk!!
ok ladies - my sanity needs you!
I'm only on day 20 of my cycle, but have been bursting into tears at the most ridiculous things (like Bride Wars for f
**s sake!) and am incredibly tired. My logical side tells me that even if I was lucky enough to have fallen pg this month, there's no way I'd already have symptoms, right?? But, me being the psycho I am, I go and POAS, just in case. OF COURSE BFN!!!!
Why do I do this to myself? Symptoms v.real though, but I could just be tired, right?
Swore this time I wouldn't turn into ttc-zilla, but am losing my grip!! I just want to know, like, right now, how long it's going to take. 6 months? Fine. A year? Not great, but ok. It's the not knowing that drives me INSANE every month.
Ok, rant over. Thanks for listening

lee thanks for the support but for me FR has always been spot on 6 days early so today was 5. Plus i have been bf up until 3/4 wks ago and for me this is a very reliable method of contraceptiom, Just never really realised quite how reliable till now. Kind of accepted this month would be out, so hopefully body will sort itself out for next month.
I am definately
not doing any more tests this month, can't bloody afford it tbh.

liahgen i was tasting the day before af due and getting nothing and now bfp. there's always a chance but from my experience you kill yourself with poas too often! good luck!
Well done to all the BFP gradulates, it was a very lucky bus. I'm stepping onto the May bus as no luick this month. Got everthing crossed for next month!
Ahhhhhhh got ya....Thank you. Shall remember that one
hi all.
Well tested slightly early today, af due Sunday and not even a shadow so am assuming it's no go for us this month. Just want Af to turn up now so we can get cracking on next month.
Stopped feeding dd 3 weeks, (maybe almost 4) ago so hopefully next one will be a good hormone free cycle and lucky for us.
congrats to all graduates,

to all bfn's , guess we'll meet again on the May bus.
Peeing On A Stick.....ie pregnancy tests!!
I dont mean to be ignorant, but what does POAS mean?
Congratulations Hlouisey.
Sorry AF got you TeaFan, good luck for next month, hope DP leading does the trick.
Still no AF for me, really don't want to POAS so ignoring it all, either I am pregnant or I'm not, only time will tell.
I'll pop back to see what people are up to but probably won't be around that much as want to enjoy my other hobbies rather than just ttc!
Good luck everyone

Nanoo, sounds like there is a chance it could be your month.
Sorry about you BFN
JamieJay, I am an overachiever too and have put myself under so much pressure - however, have put DP in charge of things next month

Well, there's no wonder AF was dancing around on my doorstep for a few days - she was just limbering up for the carniage she was about to inflinct, OMG is all i'm going to say

Anyway, no more kicker checking for me this month, have taken myself off the list.

HI EVERYONE, bit of an update from me, iv been reading everyday and so many bfp CONGRATS YOU LOT

My opk went onto 2 bars on day cd7 and is still showing same, im cd 15 now!! usually changes to ov couple days after, so either iv not ov this month or someting is wrong

ANYONE out there used a clearblue digital opk and had this?? I did read that its rare but it can mean a BFP but im not thinking that, as im so sure im not

WAGHHHHHHHHHHH lol
LeeWT and
LadyLou thanks for your kind words, the fab people on this bus have been lovely.
I think not being pregnant by my birthday really knocked me back. When we started at Christmas I honest to god thought that eight cycle would be enough time to succeed by my 29th (I'm a bit of an over-achiever

)
Part of me is thinking I might take a month off if AF gets me to re-set my brain and take some of the pressure off, it's not proving good for our sexlife.
Any-who
leeWT, are you feeling excited yet?
Jamie sorry about your bfn but two things, you are post mc which may lengthen your cycle, it did mine, and it ain't over til the witch gets you- I was getting negative tests on days 28,29 and 30 of ucl 29 and only got halfway decent +ve today which is cd32 or cd33.
I think u were dead right to go off and have a great day and if u can wait couple days before testing again it'll help. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed!
nanoo yes it was diff to af. I usually get cramps on cd1 or 2 and they wouldn't be that painful.. This was strong cramps all day I actually strapped a heatpack to mysf using a belt .. But that's just my experience..
Loads baby dust to everyone (and a little for nervous me!) xxx
Wow - thanks so much. So it can happen. LeeWT - did the implantation cramps feel just like AF cramps - or slightly different?
(listen to me - desperately symptom spotting!!)
Sorry about the bfn JamieJay. But really glad u had a good day with ur friends though. Having good friends on these kinda days are a godsend
Sorry I disappeared, didn't get chance to post first thing!
First off, major congrats
LeeWT that's fab news and you're right a line is a line is a line so huge good luck vibes for a sticky bean

Also, congrats
chowmeinWell, as promised I tested at a god awful hour this morning and got a [
drum roll please] BFN, no hint of a shadow of a +ve line, not even a damn evaporation line! AF still hasn't arrived either.
I seriously thought I'd cry if I got a -ve but to be honest I didn't feel anything but numb. Not going to POAS again this week, can't be doing with it. In a way wish AF would just arrive.
Thankfully had a totally fab day out with friends which distracted me from all things ttc.
TeaFan sorry you're still having oddness in your pants

hope it proves to just be an implantation bleed!
hi all, nanoo i DEF got implantation cramps on thursday last. thought it was af coming couple days early and they were really quite bad i had to get hot water bottle. turns out they must have been implantation.
got cramps on dd as well and a small bleed.
funny enough didnt have it with the baby i mc..
so the moral of the story is it aint over til its over!!
good luck!!!
Never heard that one Nanoo , but still doing a lot of reading myself. Fingers crossed thats what your cramps were.
Any news Jamiejay ?
Congrats LeeWT!!!!
I haven't heard of feeling implantation cramps, but tummy cramps at the beginning are v common - I have had them for about a week and got a bfp yesterday so it could be a positive sign...fingers crossed for you.
Aw, I love the ladies on this bus - you're all so kind and supportive. Gonna keep checking in to get me through the next few days (last cycle I was so positive about the drugs that when AF came I was heartbroken :-( )
Read something on a website today that you can sometimes FEEL implantation. Wondering if that could have been my tummy cramps on Monday (because AF hasn't subsequently turned up). Anyone heard of such a thing??
congratulations
leewt, this really is a lucky bus........

chowmein as ive learned a line is a line..
nannoo absolute best wishes to you, you deserve some success!
teafan fingers crossed to you..
jamie hope everything ok with you.
As for me, ive decided to try and be positive and not let the mc colour how i deal with things..
This really is a lucky bus, huh?

I'm not getting time to check here much, but congratulations to all the new BFPs since I last managed to post!!
Nothing to report here, really... As well as DTD I've been faithfully temperature checking each day, but it's all been pretty steady so far. So, I'm not sure whether or not I've actually ovulated this month.

I guess I have a few more days before I should be too concerned.
I think I'm starting to go mad, however... I've found myself pondering suspiciously at every innocent little twinge I feel, as though it's something significant! Most of the time, I'm guessing I'm just hungry. :P
I get the feeling it's going to be a loooong two weeks...
teafan, i hope u feel better. i normally have regular cycles, but there are time they are longer or shorter, dont even know what causes them. ppl say stress, i m not so sure, how much stress is too much really. go and see ur doc if u r really worried. ttc or not, if there'r changes to ur normal cycle, maybe should check it out.
nanoo, u need to hang in there. best of luck to u

. ur treatment is v expensive! i've everything crossed for u.
i have been symptom spotting too, think i m losing my mind as i've had symptom v early on at day 14. v gassy, and efficient bowel movement

, usual for me during af. feel muscle pull in pelvic area. but i went to pilates on day 13, so think i might worked that area? also feel like something in throat at times, make me want to gag. and heavy in the pelvic area. boobs not sore mid cycle (normally 1 day of tenderness) or before af due (normally 2/3 days before af) but start to hurt when af is due till now. but i haven't had spotting, no cramps (dont have af cramps normally), and not feeling tired, no strange taste in my mouth n no increases sense of smell. am thinking i can't get symptoms so early, unless i ov really early? was trying to observe my cycle this month and start to chart, but haven't seen much ewcm or much cm in general, so dont know when i ov. i normally do have ewcm, but didn't note down when and thought it's infection, how ignorant is that.

while i know a line is a line, part of me can't believe it! thinking maybe af is late, and something else is giving be a +.
Teafan - I would probably test but I know what you mean about being a POAS phobic, if you did test and it was BFN you would get annoyed as AF has gone awol, that's what I did this month, this TTC malarky is a nightmare.
chowmein - congratulations

bet it doesn't seem real yet?
nanoo - poor you really hope this is your lucky month and you don't have to go down the IVF route
My ebay cheapie OPKs and HPTs turned up today 15 OPKs and 10 HPTs for £4.88 bargain, from the same company I used with DD2 and 3, I know what to look out for now and know that the line doesn't go a decent colour until about 7days after AF was due and that a tiny tiny faint line is a BFP, if anyone else wants the link let me know.
Oops better go I cna hear DD3 up from her nap.
Lol, just read that post again, bet any money today will end up being CD1

Don't worry
LadyLou, I knew what you meant!

To be honest
nanoo i'm starting to feel really upset

, tired of knicker checking and the brown gunk is not getting any lighter/heavier so really don't know what is happening. Have no other signs of AF yet and thought my LP was longer. Don't want to pay good money to test just to get a BFN becuase i'm pretty sure i'm not pg ... this doesn't really fit the profile of implantation bleeding.
Last month I was really late and my boobs were killing but
that turned out to be caused by the short course of steroids I took for my allergies. Ended up looking like a right phantom preggo loon.
Arrgghhhh, come on AF just knock on the bloody door instead of dancing around on the doorstep

My body was perfectly reliable till I TTC and now it just does random things every month in a bid to drive me insane, well i'm not falling for it again.
Rant over

Guess AF must be almost done with the dancing and about to barge through the door.

What I was trying to say was:
Congratulations chowmein, and fingers crossed LeeWT that the line becomes biggers stronger and brighter....
So sorry for the confusion
ahhhhhhhhh.....crap just noticed my error, I meant to say
LeeWT, not
Teafan , so sorry

PS what's happening TeaFan? Has the bleed stopped? Are you OK?
Just popped on to see how we're all doing - HEAPS of grads - big congrats to you all :-)
Anyone else getting towards the end of their 2ww? I'm about 10 DPO. Last month AF got me 12 DPO. So am feeling v v nervous. Have been taking fertility drugs (as I don't have a natural cycle) - and the drugs cost over £600 for this cycle (!!!). Unbelievable, uh? It's IVF for me if this cycle fails....so I need lots and lots of luck. Who's already symptom spotting? I had tummy cramps yesterday and was terrified it was AF....but no other signs yet...

Oh, and welcome
Lizkin x posted!

Wow, congatulations
chowmein, fancy getting it right on your first go

Welcome to the thread, worriers are in very good company here!

Wait it out with us but as most MNers will tell you a line is a line is a line so looks like your preggers!
No
Sweetkitty, haven't tested yet due to POAS phobia, do you think I should given the circumstances? I'm only 13DPO.

Have a nice day...
hi all, i m new. have just got a + from a clearblue test, so i guess i m pregnant, tho part of me is not sure. might do another test in a few days time. never done a test b4, keep thinking i m not doing it right. my cycle is normally 28/29, and today would be day32.
this is our 1st month of trying, and have been figuring out ovulation signs and all that. as i had no clue.
i m 32, fingers crossed all goes well, as i m a bit of a worrier
LeeWT - mini congrats to you hope it turns into a nice big positive for you
Teafan - very strange nothing to advise sorry you have doen tests haven't you???
Nothing to report here bleeding seems to be easing off which is a good thing.
Lol, think I have to stop knicker checking now, one of my colleagues just said 'are you going to the loo AGAIN!?!?!'

Actually, a bit cheeky when you think about it

LeeWT OMG OMG OMG! Sending all my positive thoughts your way
My docs are useless and would prob just tell me to wait a few days. Am now 13DPO and this has been happening for 3 days. No other symptoms, no cramps, no bloating, no pre-AF waight gain and no untoward pain. I definitely OV'd as got positive OPK plus all the usual signs.
The only upside to my little mystery is that I am having to have a giggle at the constant knicker checking - the people at work must wonder what is going on as i've been to the loo about 6 times in less than 2 hours!
this has to be a record-breakingly lucky bus!!!
huge congrats to all new graduates! I've still got waaaaaaaay too long to wait to see if AF turns up - how terrible to wish weeks by just to know! Swore with baby 2 I wouldn't do this, but ttc does tend to take over your life! Good luck to everyone approaching D-day....
morning!
Weellll i did a test early this morning.. and *positive*
BUT - still faint so please dont put me on the gradutes list just yet. i am an emotional mess panicking that its a cp..
also after having a mc i didnt realise how much differently (afraid) i would feel about it.
thanks for listening girls.
teafan i'd give your drs office a call about that im sure they can pur your fears at rest.
jamiejay what gives honey?!
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
JamieJay did you do your test at 5.30?
I still have brown gunk, it's got slightly worse but nothing even near AF - if i'm honest it's started freaking me out slightly, wish it would stop or turn into AF. Anyone else had any experience with this? It is different to the usual pink/brownish mucus I sometimes get before AF and started a few days earlier. Am staying calm though, I know by now that my body doing something weird doesn't mean I am pg!
Sorry for any mistakes, my head feels like it has cotton wool in it today!

Im am so getting up early 2moro to read ur results jamieay. Fingers crossed for you.
Have decided that am just gonna stick to Tesco cheapies next month. I agree, horrid when clearblue just comes up "Test says no", and not going down First responce route either (too expensive + false promise of early result). At least with tesco cheapies you can have 5mins of fun turning stick in all strange angles hoping that there could be a really faint line somewhere.

Thanks JamieJay - yes, I have managed to distract myself OK so far, but now I'm entering into first response territory (and 3 little tests waiting upstairs), it's a whole different ball game!
Today was my first day of pseudo-symptom spotting, I'm getting a sensation in my boobs that really feels like the let-down of breastfeeding (obv no milk, that would be weird 10 months after stopping breastfeeding!). No idea if it's a symptom or my imagination though. The joys of 2ww!
LeeWT I will post my results at 5:30 tomorrow, hopefully we'll both have BFP to celebrate
TeaFan know what you mean about BFN, that's part of the reason I've stopped using the clearblue digital tests, the 'Not Pregnant' was harder to read than just seeing a single line. Everything crossed for you til the weekend.
Congratulations
Welliboot
. April has turned out to be a very lucky bus. Maybe its lucky monday, as opposed to what was yesterdays unlucky sunday??
Hey
Jamiejay I'm good, defo feeling more upbeat than yesterday. At least AF is here and it gives me an excuse to gorge on chocolate for the next few days. Just need the SF to go, and get back to work (cant beleive I have just written that, but am truely going insane from being stuck in house). How long are u going to wait bf u test? (lucky day 33 maybe?) Fingers crossed for, have cereals in the morning and sprinkle lots of babydust over them

Hello
ApuskiDusky, you're already half way through the 2ww - hope we can all help you stay strong and not test until AF due, this is the first month I didn't (
really) test early and I was still peeing on a stick on CD26!!
It's my mission to not test until after AF is late one of these months

Wellieboot

Happy days!! This really is a very lucky bus, our stats ar far better than average with quite a few passengers left to make their way to the front of the bus!
Thanks for the encouragement
JamieJay, am still feeling a little sceptical after a few months of disappointment tho. The brown gunk has now come back but not a hint of red and no cramps etc, no other symptoms of AF or pg so don't ask me what's occuring! I am only 12 DPO though and my LP is usually longer. Not thinking of testing until at least the weekend as have total POAS phobia! Plus, as evil as AF is, I still prefer her to a BFN

Oops sorry, wishing my life away:
ApuskiDusky TTC#2 Cycle 5 UCL28 CD22
Hi all, May I join you? I have taken my time in coming over from the March bus, because I think it works best for me to not think about this too much for the first couple of weeks of my cycle, and then when I get into the 2ww, I need the support to not test too soon! I recognise a few names from the end of March bus, hello all.
Stats:

Sorry Elliemama we cross posted. I've heard a few people on here mention breastfeeding slowing down conception but don't know how true that is. Hopefully someone more experienced will come along - I'll try for number one

Elliemama A chemical pregnancy is where the egg is fertilised but implantation fails and AF starts, more often than not someone would just think their period was late. The risk with testing early is you'll get a +ve because the hormones start to go up but the pregnancy fails before it's even started properly.
I've never suffered a chemical pregnancy but just having repeatative BFN can get very draining after a while.
Have looked up chem preg on google so need for explanation now ta. - very sad tho.
My ds was conceived accidentally so I've never been through all this before... Been trying for a year now and no luck. Still breast feeding tho so maybe that's why...
I don't understand - what is a chemical pregnancy??
Yay for another BFP,
wellieboot
LeeWT JamieJay and
Teafan - sending you lots of good vibrations
Elliemama - can I add my voice to those advising against early testing? I P'edOAS (FR)5 days before period due first month of ttc this time - got a faint but definite line, started inwardly celebrating and thinking of names that go with ds's, and sure enough 2 days later I got a BFN... A chemical pregnancy I guess, but still very very gutting.
Umbongo - know what you mean. We conceived ds literally 1st shot. He's 3 and a half now, and I did want a longish gap, but I suppose I'd been half assuming it would be just as easy this time... And I'm always getting the "So, when are you going to have number 2?" comments, along with "you don't want to leave it too late" etc. Grrr
Updated list for monday 3rd August to include umbongo and graduate wellieboot..

ttc#2 cycle 14 ucl 31 day 26
I should be used to the comments by now, but ds happened after only about 3 months of TTC. So this long wait is beginning to drive me even more batty!
Thank you for advice LeeWT and JamieJay - I will try to leave it a bit longer. Good luck to you both tho sounds very promising and for Teafan. Congrats Wellieboot...

wellieboot - congratulations

LeeWT - looks promising for you
Jamiejay - fingers and everything crossed
Teafan - and for you too
elliemama I agree with jamiejay early testing is a curse!! I've been testing for a week and have been driving myself crazy .. I've gotten very paint positives but my research shows this could mean bad news down the line so believe me next month I won't be doing this next month it completely takes over..
jamiejay I'll def test with u at 5am tomor morn have managed to avoid temptation so far but have been feeling so sick all day think it's from stress.. Never felt sick early on before..
Congrats on our newest bfp and fingers crossed for more!!
wellieboot congrats, that's fab news, have to put yourself on the Due April thread. Hopefully some of us willg et to join you soon.
TeaFan limboland is hell isn't it, but your symptoms are sounding really positive. When are you thinking of testing?
UmBongo sorry people can such tactless idiots, hope they didn't upset you to much. Where are you in your cycle (sorry for nosiness - can't spot you on the list)
Elliemama I know how hard it is, but I'd really suggest waiting a little longer before testing. There are so many risk of being upset by early testing (believe me I've been there) that it's really not worth it IMHO. If you do test I hope you get good news though
LeeWT have you managed to avoid testing again? I'm testing in the morning (at about 5am as have to out the house by 5:40!!) if you want to join me.
me I still have
no AF, sore boobs, major hunger, headache, funny taste, tiredness (but that's normal, love my sleep), puffy stomach and super smell so still waiting and hoping!
Ladylou83 How you doing?
omg...
BFP!!!!!!
AF due around about now, but have been feeling a bit 'odd' so did a test today! JamieJay, LeeWT and TeaFan - will keep my fingers crossed that you will be joining me soon. Good luck to everyone.

Thank you Ladylou83 may go and get one tomorrow then... Can't really stand all this waiting around to find out its definately driving me crazy... Have wasted so much money on tests over the last year tho...
I though the FR HPT was meant to be quite good at picking up early pregnancy hormone, then the more people I talked to about it were like the % they give out in the small print arent very good. It didnt stop me from using them though. They are on special in boots at the mo

Has anyone tried the 6 days before you're due preg test... I'm thinking of getting one tonight so can test tomorrow rather than have to wait another week but not sure how accurate they are!
Really pleased everyone else has had a damm good rant these last couple of days. I was doing fine over the weekend til someone yesterday said Are you having another one then? Followed by "you shouldn't leave it too long you know" I would have given him the unvarnished truth if I could have done it without blubbing.

I definitely agree with the sore boobs theory, the other one is that if ds sticks his elbows in my boobs that can lead to sore boobs too. Of course that leads to obsessing about symptons, not the ridiculously rational idea that they hurt as they have been elbowed by small wriggly ds! (Rational - me - NEVER!

)
Thanks
Sweetkitty
Sorry AF got you
Ladylou, really had my fingers crossed for implantation bleeding for you...
JamieJay and
LeeWT, fear I may be joining you in Limboland... had some pinkish/brown mucus yesterday and at day 27 really too early for AF for me (11DPO). It got a bit darker but has now completely disappeared so I can't help but feel a
little optimistic. Don't feel my usual pre-AF anger yet but am
completely exhausted despite an extremely early night. Guess i'll just have to wait and see.

LeeWT sorry didn't see your post. I would take that as a faint +ve and test again
in the morning, sorry to shout but testing all day will just you insane(r)! Looks like it could be good news for you though

This never ending limbo is draining isn't it
ladyLou83 Good luck on the May bus, seems to be quite a crowd building. I sure you understand that I'm hoping I won't see you on it but suspect it's only a matter of time.
LeeWT sorry you got a BFN, hope AF stays away.
AF hasn't arrived yet but not overly confident, plan to test again tomorrow morning but after the emphatic -ve yesterday can't see how it can be a +ve tomorrow.
Anyone else testing in the next couple of days? TeaFan, SummerC, anyone? It's all gone very quiet round here today
<<JJ peers round looking for fellow obsessives>>
Girls girls girls... i have been feeling so sick all morning so went and bought a clear blue test (the one with the cross or negative not the words) and there is a very very faint positive.
its also a digital display so shouldnt show anything if theres not something there?!
DRIVING MYSELF CRAZY here can anyone tell me to get a grip?! anyone had experience of these?
lou sorry the witch got you but as u say onto more bd! Maybe good thing that you'll have the flu over you..
Jamie here's hoping it's implantation pains and not af it took 6 wks to get period after my mc..
Took test this morning someones having a laugh bfn! Just want af to come so I can stop obsessing!
Hi JamieJay
It got me last night, just after my little ranting session on here. Well that would defo explain my grumpy mood last night. Went to bed hoping its implantation bleeding, but when was still awake at 3.30am with cramps, I'm guessing its defo AF.
Oh well, a new AF, a new month of BDing, scattering babydust and mad symptom spotting during the 2ww.....
Ladylou83 Did AF get you overnight - hoping beyond hope it was just implantation and you're not feeling down.

The BIG Fat Red lady is singing to me. Looks like AF has caught me. I knew the witch would....(either that, or its implantation bleeds?

). It is very light, and a strange colour....?
Well Im going to still hang out on this bus if that is ok, as have met so many lovely ladies here, and would hate to not have natters with you all. Going to add myself to the May bus, just incase it is AF proper.
Time for me to update our list i guess...Right to the bottom for me

Looby - sorry you had to go through it too and so sorry if my post upset you, I'm not too upset about this CP thing as I was never pregnant IYSWIM and was wanting AF to start as I wanted to get into a cycle again if that makes sense, try to enjoy your TTC break and hopefully will see you back soon when it WILL be your turn
LeeWT - love love love your symptom spotting and your POAS obsession, I have been pregnant 4 times now so am a veteran of POAS and symptom spotting even though I do not get any symptoms of being pregnant until about 8 weeks doesn't stop me inventing some though

Ladylou - your MIL sound erm a bit barking sorry, and sorry you are getting it in the neck so to speak on the TTC front, I keep getting the "are you going to keep going until you get a boy?" or "are you trying for a boy then?" as if DD3 is a silver medal, the reason we are TTC#4 is we both adore DD3 so much that we cannot bear for her to be our last baby and we both want one more little person, if another DD (which she will be) we will be more than delighted, I have 3 DDs and they are all different. And never apologise for having a good old rant and whinge on her it's what we are here for and it always feels better to get it out and off your chest, feel free to rant away
JmaieJay - hope your boobs stay sore
Teafan - everything crossed for you too
LeeWT/Ladylou83 Think we're all as mad as eachother here.
My life seems to consist of checking for EWCM, sticking my legs in the air post BD or checking symptoms which generally involve my boobs or my digestion
Why can't there be symptoms that doesn't involve funny tastes, smells, bloating or your boobs!
OMG what is wrong with my typing tonight..?
LeeWT that was Quality!!!! I love the sore boobs theory

I'm wondering if I re-peed on on the used HPT, it would change into a BFP???? Any thoughts.... (Wonders of DH would notice me rustling through the bathroom bin)
I hope so. I'm really enjoying MN at the mo, full of other mad symptom spotters like us, who all seem so lovely and have had some really wise words for me. So yep, hopefully this week will bring some BFP for all the lovely ladies in this group. Yay

oooh and ladylou i think you're doing great. I'd have jumped up and down like rumpelstilsken til i got HPTs to take i think you're a marvel!
Meanwhile back at the ranch... LeeWT is peeing on anything stick like she can find, including running experiments with ovulation tests to compare evaporation lines.
DH keeps catching me on mumsnet and telling me not to obsess.. then said that since we BD'd today, maybe that will be the one. Like HELLO dont you know anything?!?! im on CD29 goddang?! poor poor man.
Thought for the day - Did you know that if you punch yourself in the boobs several times a day to check if they are sore, you do in fact end up with sore boobs? interesting.
Fact of the matter - is that the two HPTs and one Ov test ive had have fainter than fainter than faint lines which didnt even come up at the time but i am now convinced this is important. i have worked out that if the cramps on thurs were implantation that i prob wouldnt get positive test and the truth of it is - i think AF is afraid to visit. So I am psychologically (or psychotically) in limboland.
Just thought i'd make everyone feel better if you're not as crazy as me

With all that going on you have grounds to rant without anyone telling you to grow up, and just because it's your first month doesn't mean you're not allowed to get stressed about it!
I've spent the entire 2ww bitching and moaning that I didn't ovulate and am now symptom spotting like some mad thing.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring a better day, the week may even bring a BFP or two!
I hope it is, but kinda thinking I've asked too much of my body this much:
*Tried to stop smoking (have cut down to a few a day, but cant quite seem to knock it off entirely). I know its terrible that Im still on a few a day, but its an improvement than the 15 a day at the begginning of the month.
*Had to change some medication this month to another type, which has just thrown my system entirley.
*Swineflu and taking tamiflu. Just making me feel sick to the core. Day 3 of 5 of being stuck in the house.
*And the normal pressures that come with TTC. I know its only the 1st month, but I guess everyone hopes they can catch on the first try.
I think I have just wound myself up today, hopefully 2moro I'll be feeling better from SW. My poor DH has had to deal with my grumpyness a lot today, bless him....
I think its not the month for us this month, but I cant help symptom spotting too.

. I'm so hoping the cramps I've got are implantation pains, but there in the lower back, so I think they are on the wrong side. Although, saying that, my nipples (well the area around them) are big and dark. Sorry TMI, but they are, lol

Sorry for the rant. Shall be back to happy self 2moro, and scattering babydust to everyone

. Thanks for not telling me to grow up
Jamiesjay , I know I rant a lot

I think it could be a good sign but am symptom spotting like anything.
Moodiness is also a good sign you know!
Ladylou83 I find chocolate a fab treatment for grumpiness. Sorry you're getting hassle from family, MIL seems to be on a different planet - but her being in Spain sounds like a good thing

WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!! Sore Boobs!
That has got to be a good sign surely? Fingers crossed it is a positive sign x
Excuse the annoucement, but......
MY BOOBS HURT!!
Strange thing to tell you I admit but DH is bored of me going on about them, especially with the BFN this morning and him not wanting me to get my hopes up to much!
My mother rung me up today to see if I had grown a tail (SF, great) and started oinking, or if I have had a BFP yet. For the last 7years of having BF's she has been anti-babies, now withing 6weeks of being married, its now part of the everyother day phone-call. Then there is the MIL, who has already brought me a book on conception, told me I must have a boy, and also time my pregnancy with my sister in law, so she only has to come home from spain once, and can fit us both in at the same time, and then reminds me that it all happens within time.....bless her...ideal thinking...
I know my AF is on its way with this grumpy mood im in.

We've been pretty lucky when it comes to other people hassling us about babies.
PIL are desperate for a grandchild but have been pretty tactful overall. Only a couple of our friends have had children so babies aren't really a topic of conversation as we're ahead of the game IYSWIM.
I couldn't guarantee bitting my tongue if I did have people making comments
LeeWT I know what you mean about people thinking it's only a matter of time following a mc, whilst MIL is being tactful you can see the excitement on her face whenever we even suggest we have something to tell her - even when it was about buying a new TV!!
teafan and lou i know how you feel - even tho we have a 2yr old and people were making comments about when the next one was due, no one knew we were trying until I had a mc.. now i feel like people in work etc think its only a matter of time which is just pressure. not that i havent been pressuring myself!
decided to drown my sorrows in an ENTIRE bag of sensations and tub of hummous mmmmmmm
Hi
LadyLou fortunately I haven't had anyone spouting cliches at me as noone in RL knows I am TTC, well apart from DP

Although I am going to have to find a good excuse when I do announce i'm pg as we have spent the past 10 years telling anyone that would listen how we didn't want any

Don't know why we did that because we always wanted children but just got really fed up of people asking when it would be

People are either pressuring you to have them, telling you how to go about getting them or then complaining about how you're raising them! The thing is no-one understands, we are not asking for advice or solutions, we are just enjoying having a rant and just want someone to say 'yes, it's very bad, poor you, you are a saint for putting up with it', that is the only thing that would make us happy.

oppppsss....few typos then
Is anybody fed up people saying it will come naturally, when all you can think about is getting a BFP????
Sorry, needed to get than one out of the system...Although i do agree with TeaFan , cant believe how relaxed you are about this Newmember , I admire than, maybe I should take a leaf out of your book
Hi
Looby, glad you're still popping in to keep an eye on us!
Well, you ladies have been busy, really sorry it wasn't a luckier day but congrats to
NoCoffeeNoWorkee &
Bungo101, hopefully we will all be joining you soon.
Who else thinks
NewMember is a total hero for her new relaxed approach? Not knowing what cycle day i'm on is something I can only aspire to!!

Hope she has a fab holiday and comes back waving a BFP...
Something odd is happening here, I am 11 DPO and have pink/brownish mucus. It really is too early for AF as my LP is around 15 days and I haven't even had any pre-AF cramps yet so i'm not sure, am trying to put the words 'implantation bleeding' out of my head and keep busy! If it stops and AF doesn't arrive within a few hours
then I will start feeling optimistic. Can't believe I may have to contemplate POAS again, I have a total phobia

sweetkitty i am no longer on the bus as i had a chemical preg in july so i decided to stp trying. it was starnge reaading your message about your mc. It was like reading my own on last months bus. The same thing happened to me, exactly 2 years to the day too i suffered my second mc. I was only 1 week late i had got a bfp and it never got darker. I knew i was having a mc and just had to pass the time until the bleeding started. It has been 3 weeks almost now and im ok. I am sorry that it happened to you. Have faith in your body that it recognised a problem at this early stage and altho it is painful it is just yourbody telling you that it was not perfect. You only deserve the best and your body knows that so it is making sure you get the best healthiest baby you deserve. Thats how i get through it myself. Love and hugs x (im off the bus at the mo for a few months until my hip gets better and until i have the strength to ttc again)
Ladylou83 your babydust and good luck message almost brought tears to my eyes. Hey, being emotional can be a sign of pregnancy can't it - not that I'm symptom spotting or anything!
LeeWT ttc and having a life aren't compatible! You're right about this Sunday not being lucky

fingers crossed there are more BFPs by the end of the week.
I think ladies that this was NOT the sunday we hoped for!
swweetkitty am lol at the scientificness of your approach! thing is that was my last ebay cheapy.
i have other ebay cheapys that are midstream tests rather than dip ones but they are 20miu so dont think theyd pick anything up. just have to hope for the best (have tried letting go but its not working!!)
oooh i do have ov tests from same company. i could do two of those tomorrow morning to see whether there's evap lines... OR and this is controversial, I could GET A GODDAMN LIFE!!
JamieJay sorry about your BFN but happy birthday - drown your sorrows thats what i did after my first response BFN!
am off for a BFL - big fat lunch

***********BABY DUST**************
sweetkitty sorry your body's been playing tricks on you, it does sound like it could be a CP but it may one of those times that it's best not to know exact what happens and just move onto next month (I'm playing down the situation, I do know how hard it all it)
SummerC sorry for the BFN, but no running off to the May bus until AF arrives, it's not over until the fat witch cackles!
Ladylou83 drat your DH, sorry he forgot the HPTs, hope the cramps are implantation pains and not AF, your right about today not being lucky
LeeWT sorry the cramps are driving you mad, hope you get your dreamt of +ve in the next couple of days.
Well, no AF here yet. If she doesn't turn up I think I will test on Tuesday morning, last time I got a BFP on CD33 so may be the lucky day for me.
Might go and have a lurk over at the May bus, sadly think Im heading that way with the cramps I have today...
Jamiejay, do you know, I was thinking that myself, but decided not to as DH always bad at timekeeping so didnt expect him home early. But to my surprise he had just walked in the door with loads of Sainsburys bags.
Have asked him the all important question; "Can I have the Sticks please?"......"Whats sticks?"....."PG sticks"....."Oh I forgot....(runs to bag)... but I did remember ur towels"....."Ur thanks"
Im gonna have to pull out of the sunday club as DH is a forgetful so 'n' so......

Dosent look like sunday is the lucky day we all hoped for......Oh DH just handed me BIG bar of Dairy milk Caramel..."As ur ill luv"....Fingers crossed its full of babydust, Good luck to anybody else testing today.
PS: Might have to have a wednesday club, most of us are due AF by then, so could be a good day to test.....?
LeeWT - ebay tests drive me potty too, with my last pregnancy I didn't get a decent BFP until AF was a week late, I got the faintest of faint lines, what I always say is do two tests at the exact same time to compare, do one test and for the other one use water or better still your DHs pee as a control. If you get ANY sort of line on your pee it looks good for a BFP. If you get lines on both it looks like evap lines.
can't you tell I used to be a scientist with my controls on experiments

It's possible LeeWT. But I don't think so. I'll re-test if AF doesn't arrive in the next week.

sweetkitty that must have been awfully upsetting sorry to hear that.. see you on the may bus..
summerc sorry to hear that too - but maybe you O'd late?
well i did two ebay cheapy tests one yday and one today both BFNs BUT later on i looked at them and they did have very very faint but visible lines.. think that must be what you guys call evap lines when you're talking about them.. I had woeful cramps on Thursday past and I'm driving myself crazy thinking they could have been implantation cramps just wish AF would come and put me out of my misery. ALL i dreamt about last night was positive pregnancy tests!!
good luck to any other testers
xxx
SummerC - sorry about yoru BFN too come and join us on the May bus we have loads of chocolate for us period gals
newmember - yes I think it was a chemical pregnancy

but oh well these things happen, just not meant to be, better now than later on
Thanks
Bettymamma. It's only cycle 1 so I knew not to expect too much. It just brings back bad memories of trying to conceive dd1. I think we got to cycle 42 + clomid before we finally had a BFP. A small part of me was really hoping we would be luckier this time.

Ah SummerC sorry too. Sunday is proving to not be a lucky day!
Hi sweet
Sorry to say but it does sound like a Chemical Pregnancy to me! I went through it Dec/Jan - sounds very much the same!
Sorry, hope u r ok !!!!

As I suspected - another BFN.
Toddling off to the May bus now I guess.
Ah sweetkitty i'm sorry (i'm still lurking by the way, trying to persuade dh i can join the May bus - realising i'm mad). I too have woken up in the same situation as you this morning which isn't normal for me either and i had been late. It obviously wasn't meant to be this month and best we don't know what happened. A big cyber hug to you
Jamiejay sorry for your BFN. Its not over QUITE yet!
Well done BFP's - bongo and nocoffee. I'm keeping a look out for anymore

I'm kind of one two buses right now as well although there's no chance of an April baby for me.
TMI and I am sorry if I upset anyone but I do think I have had a chemical pregnancy this month, I woke up this morning in a pool of blood which I don't think I have ever done in my life apart from lochia and mc bleeding. My periods are never late and they were 8 days late this month despite the BFNs and I have just had to change tampons after an hour and that is not like me. This happened once before when I was TTC DD1, a week late but that time I had a very faint BFP then a few BFNs before a heavier than normal period. To make it worse it is 2 years to the day that I had a mc

dealing with things today in the toilet kind of brings it back IYSWIM?
Sorry if I upset anyone I know from experience it's hard

Anyway onwards and upwards May is a calling, I'm going to stock up on ebay HPTs and OPKs as well as a Clearblue, getting technical this month.
SummerC - will be keeping everything crossed for you and everyone else testing today
Wow, yet more BFPs since I last posted! Congratulations to all.

I'm a little concerned by the migration to the May bus, I have a feeling I'm going to be sat by myself on the April bus until the bitter end, when I can find out one way or another!

Curse my cycle timing.
Hopefully the May bus will be an even luckier one though, for everyone heading that way!

I may see you there, in a few weeks...
Well it's CD35 and today is usually the day AF comes knocking. So far, no sign of her. I had a BFN 4 days ago so I don't really think I've been lucky this month, but I'll do another test later today just to be sure.
Please keep everything crossed for a BFP!

Thanks
sweetkitty, give it a couple of days and I'll probably be with you on the May bus - May's a much better month to have babies than April

Jamiejay - sorry to hear about your BFN

know you need to go and celebrate your birthday now and spoil yourself a bit.
An emphatic BFN for me, not even a shadow of a +ve line - not the best way to start my birthday celebrations
But AF still hasn't tuned up and my boobs have started hurting so maybe still a litlle hope that I'm just too early [need a praying icon] Based on my longest cycle AF may not be due until tomorrow.
I really hope someone else gets a BFP this morning,
we I need some more good news on this bus.
<<
JJ throws babydust around then wanders off quietly singing '
It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to'>>
Well no AF for me yet but feeling a litle crampy so she could quite possibly turn up over night
Ladylou83 this is definately TMI and can't quite believe that I'm suggesting it, but you could always pee into a clean container first thing, put it somewhere out of the way and then dip and test when DH gets back
Beanmum hope the wait goes quick and you get good news at the end!
Good luck all those testing tomorrow, may you all get BFPs

I have tried to get him to go out, but alas he says he has had a hard day at work (?????? ummmmm yeah ??????). I tried to remind him I am poorly and he should be my skivvy for the next few days to which he just laughed at me and said Im delerious...:O
I'm promised he will be off to Tesco's for opening 2moro, so if I stay in bed and keep my legs crossed maybe I can hold that 1st wee in till he gets home...(I know TMI)
ladylou - I would be sending him out to the 24 hours supermarket

bongo - many congratulations
DH forgot to buy HPT, so I might have to be a monday tester......
Hello everyone, and congrats to all the preggers ladies

I've mainly been lurking this month as trying not to obsess (yeah right). Think I've ov'd and we've been doing the deed all week, so back onto the wait, which is at least mercifully only 10 days with my short cycle. Will
not be testing early!
Best of luck to everyone testing tomorrow - expecting to see an expanded graduate list next time I check!
Bm x
bungo 17 cycles of trying you deserve it more than anyone!! congrats!!!
nocoffee congrats to you too you must be so excited!
yay BFPS
Blimey, I go to sleep for a few hours and we get more BFP, Congratulations Nocoffeenoworkee and bungo101 !!!!
apples sorry the OPKs are messing you about after your MMC. Things will get back to normal sooner or later but I know how horrid it is until they do.
Congrats bungo101

Well I've bought a first response twin pack this afternon so you can bet AF will turn up in the next few hours!
Peed on another stick today (do I do anything else?) and for the third day in a row I have a happy face which means I am apparently ovulating.. but unless I have eggs that are jumping out like its last night of the proms in there, this is obviously not true and the hormones are still high from mmc..
Probably need to wait another week or two..LeeWT is right there.
Hey Bungo101 does that mean you are pregnant??

Off to "research" my new due date IF this month is THE month

think I should be vacating my seat on this bus for the May bus
Hello, not popped in for a while, but whilst I'm here I should mention that I'm now officially updiffed

Welcome UmBongo, enjoy the party!
Bettymamma so sorry that AF got you, good luck for July
sweetkitty I can understand the
relief (for want of a better word) of AF arriving and giving you some straight answers, hopefully next month will be the one for you.
LeeWT hope you decide to join to the Sunday club, I totally understand how depressing repeatative BFNs are, just remember that it can take a couple of days after AF is due for a BFP to turn up.
Welcome
elainescott and have a good holiday
NewMemberHope you get some answers
bubbalewyI'm still symptom spotting - feeling really odd today but a couple of work colleagues have come down with swine flu

so could be getting that rather than being pregnant

Hello, it is great to talk about the frustration of all this! It is great to be on the same bus as others

I think I am
TTC#2 cycle 14 UCL 31 day 24.
Why did boobs never hurt premenstrually before? Is it because I jump on any small possible sign?! Good side to not having BFP - party tonight get drunk!
Hi - I'm new to the site.

Hopefully I am ovulating today, will do my OPK test in about 2 hours lol and hopfully will have an April 2010 baby.. we have been TTC #1 for 9 months now so really dont want another BFN

xoxo
Technically I should be in the Sunday club as I am 15dpo and cd28 of ucl 28/29 but I did early response on fri am and got bfn so don't think there's any point plus so tired of seeing bfn just from the last week (so psychotic!)
Will be on tenderhooks to hear everyone elses results tho!!! Bundles of baby dust!! X
Morning ladies...this is the first time I have updated our list, so please forgive me if there are any mistakes.

Wow! Cant beleive how many graduates we have on our bus. Fingers crossed for everyone in the sunday club, hopefully we can add some more to the list, like
Bettymamma said, law of averages, somebody has to get a BFP. Fingers crossed to everyone, and Babydust everywhere!

Thanx
LiaMy goodness time just passes by so quick

Day 21 for me then, not long until I know then! Signing off until the 10th as i go on holiday! Well give u all a wee update when i get back!
Good luck to u all !!
Silly AF! Mines lurking, but just teasing me...what a cowbag! How many of us are there now in the sunday club?
Im not allowed out of the house, so am having to persuade DH that I desperatly need some HPTs.
Guess what arrived today yes AF

seems funny saying that but relieved to reset the clock so to speak, I don't know what went on last month, chemical pregnancy, odd cycle, who knows???? Am going for it this month, going to invest in OPKs and we are down to one BF a day.
So any testing today or are we all in the Sunday club oh how exciting will be logging on asap tomorrow.
Ladies - i'm out of the Sunday test - AF got me this morning. Good luck everyone! According to the law of averages one of you should get a BFP (at least!).
I won't be back until the July bus cos my dh has to work away the whole of June. Hope you've all graduated by then.
Bye!

SummerC I'm in exact same position as you am due af any day from tomor and did a first response yesterday mrning BFN so not feeling v hopeful at all at all at all :-(
apples so sorry to hear about your mc and not sure about the opk because as someone said it could be picking up residiual hormone. After my mmc it took 6 weeks for af to rear her ugly head again but my extensive research said u can ovulate any time from a week away...
If u want to try agIn strIght away I'd go for the old every couple of days idea as tbh your hormones are up the left for a good while ... Good lck xxx
Ow i dont think im gonna OV this month my OPK has been on 2 bars since tuesday

i always OV on 3rd day,, If its not on 3 bars 2morra that makes 5 days... bet i`ll be a non OV this month WAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

was trying for a girl as well dont wanna DTD right on my OV day!!
Welcome to the Sunday club * Ladylou83*, you could get a BFN on Sunday and still be pregnant if AF isn't due then so you won't have to give up hope.
I've worked myself up and am sure that AF will get in the morning now that I've made plans to test on Sunday!
newmenber you are 2 days ahead of me, so that makes you day 20!! [stalker emoticon]
I think Im going to join you all on sunday and test. If that comes back BFN then at least I can look forward to AF and work from there

Hi
Tea and everyone else

I am still here, still feeling more relaxed! Think I am on CD19/20 - really not 100% sure as I have
not been tracking! Hmmm - thought it was a gd idea at the time

So prob 1 more week for me before i find out! Going to Greece for 1 week on Sunday so that will keep my mind of it all for a little bit!
Feeling positive!
How r u all?
Oh, I'm out of HPT's too, what do people recommend as the most sensitive? Will obviously have to supermarket stocked rather than ebay as want for Sunday.
Don't want to use the clearblue digital with conception thingy as got a BFP on that before my m/c and feeling superstitious

There's a few of us for Sunday now - let set a time to report back

(if AF get me now I'm going to be way unhappy

)
Thanks for the birthday wish
Sunshine15 and good luck with the clomid.
I'm still here...CD33. UCL is 35, so I will be testing again on Sunday. I'm not sure there is much use as I had a BFN yesterday and I can feel AF chasing me.
I can live in hope for the next two days though.

JamieJay lets fight the AF off together. My BFN was equally as clear with no shadow. She better not turn up and ruin your birthday.
Sunshine15 - good luck with the clomid.
Ps good luck JamieJay! And happy birthday for sunday
Mickbell - I went to doc and told him I didnt think I was ov and my ucl was up to 45 and never got any results on OPK. He did a scan and confirmed no ov and PCOS on one ovary so put me straight on the Clomid. He wants to check the tubes as well but Im putting that test off cos apparently its not pleasant - can anyone confirm? DH has been tested too but his fellas are ok.
I'll wait until Sunday with you
Bettymamma, AF in theory due any day from today.
Tested this morning and got a definite BFN - not even a hint of a shadow to obsess over. I was certain that I didn't ov this month but have been having some odd symptoms these last few days so can't help but get my hopes up.
It's my birthday on Sunday and I'm hoping and praying that I may get a present of a BFP

<<
JJ wanders off muttering and threatening the evil witch with GBH if she turns up before Sunday!>>
Congrats Weetiger! Ladylou

which nice lady told you you have swine flu?? We'll all have had it before the end of the winter. How are you??
teafan and Leewt i've been symptom spotting like a good'un but i've given up.
So i'm WELL AND TRULY in limboland now. Day 27 of a 26 cd. BFN on Wednesday. Am just waiting waiting waiting. Am thinking i might test again on sunday if AF not here (all signs have gone) but we have a party Saturday night but i don't want to waste money on another BFN. oh what to do what to do. Just wait i guess. Yawn.

Sunshine15 What tests did they run on you before they started you on Clomid? I had some bloods taken and everything came back normal, but the doc has still refered me to fertility clinic.
Hi Evereyone, just wondering if anyone has tried Pre-seed before and had any luck? I have ordered some and its just been dispatched to me, hopefully it might work in my favour of getting a BFP this month!!!
Congratulations to those new graduated! and baby dust everyone else! xo
bugger just been told by the nice lady I have swine flu....Bloody great
hi everyone,
*congrats Weetiger* and any other BFP's I may have missed.
Well I had my scan today and I still have eggs on both sides which is good. Womb lining is good, and she says I have obviously ov this month as no dominant eggs. (

at dominant eggs)

So we'll see for this month, have fed dd couple times in last 2 weeks so it obviously didn't prevent ov on this occasion. Maybe i could persuade docs to do some hormone tests...or, I could just stop being so bloody impatient and just crack on.

So I am now in 2ww so due on 8/9 August.
Good luck to anyone else waiting.
Congratulations
Weetiger thats fantastic news!!!
Well I took another test, First Responce this time, and came back with BFN, so really not sure what was going on last week for the Tesco's BFP & BFN that I got, but hey ho. I think AF is chasing me through the streets at the mo. The last 2 days I have had cramps from hell and face has broken out in spots, temp is rising, and have felt sick the last 2 mornings, which I always get. She bloody better come soon if she is coming, limbo land is driving me insane

Although if AF does catch me, Im wondering should I bother trying to conceive next month, as I now know 4 people in my office with swine flu. Is it worth the risk or should I let it pass?
Contrats WeeTiger!
Still have pos preg test from ERPC, so probably not ovulating yet..sigh
Morning, first time I've updated the bus so please forgive me if I've made any mistakes

.
Well ... tested again this morning with clearblue digital and it came back with Pregnant 1-2 weeks

- was worried the earlier tests were evaporation lines but obviously not.

teafan lol at your symptom spotting i am soooo the same.. picturing all sorts of missiles flying into AF the auld witch..
to make it worse i am having the worst period cramps i never get them like this but maybe system unsettled by mc..
good luck to up and coming testers!
Good Luck
Bungo101, am sending
dark vibes your way! Chin up
SummerC sounds like there is still a good chace for you
Sky27 and
NancyPreg sorry AF got you

Hope you have a 'good ride' on the May bus though
LeeWT If AF is circling overhead try visualising a BFP missile flying up and knocking her off her broom, the imagery should cheer you up at least?!?

I'm 9DPO and starting to symptom spot! Had 'being stabbed with knitting needle' pains on my right side today but decided it was wind

, my boobs are very slightly tender but I think this just happens with AF and I never noticed until we TTC. I also got a really strong smell of roses today but turns out others could smell it too lol!! Ah, who knows? I reckon talking myself out of being pg is the way to go - deffo not winding myself up this month like I did last...
NewMember are you around? How are you getting on?
good luck bungo101!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quick visit to congratulate
LOM, no need for the May bus for you
apples do a pg test and see if you get a
-ve result. If you do, then your OPK could well be correct, however if you get a +ve pg test, then your OPK is picking up the pg hormones left over from the op. It can take up to 3wks after an EPRC for a pg to go -ve.
Hope I don't see too many of you ladies on the May bus!! Good luck all, I'm off back to May bus!
Thanks BettyMamma. Then if there is a darker line next time, then I can feel happy

Oh Bungo101 - good luck!! Fingers crossed. Someone once told me that the pregnancy hormone increases every other day if that helps.
applesaretheonlyfruit - hope someone can help you on this one but i reckon you should bd just in case!
idealcamel - i totally agree, i have 2 BFN's for both my dd's (saved in their respective baby boxes...) I should have learnt this time!
SummerC - you're now in limbo land with me.
Hi all.
I did two early tests - I know I shouldn't - and got a positive both times, but really faint. I was not expecting anything, as have been trying for 18 months with no positives. I don't trust that it isn't going to be an early miscarriage - don't want to get my hopes up!So I'll test again in a few days. Wish me luck

Thank you for the info idealcamel. I can see how repeated early testing and repeated chemical pregnancies could get very distressing.
My hands are suitably slapped - I definitely won't be testing early again
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had experience of following.
Had ERPC last monday at 9weeks pregnant because hb had stopped. Before that I had a very regular cycle of 28 days. It is now CD11 if you count the first day of last period as the day of ERPC. Have done a first response ovulation test which shows positive, but I am wondering if that is because I was recently pregnant. I mean, could that be a mistake?
A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage when your body has started to produce the pregancy hormone - basically, if you don't do an early test, you might just think that your period was a bit late. The thing is, though, that if you know you were pregnant you'll probably end up grieving for the miscarriage. More info here
miscarriage.about.com/od/onetimemiscarriages/p/chemicalpreg.htmLots of people here have totally different thoughts about whether or not to test early - you just have to do what's right for you. I've just become increasingly sure that it's a bad idea for me!
idealcamel I didn't realise that. I bought a 2 pack, so I will wait a couple more days and re-test. Not quite so gutted anymore so thank you!!

What is a chemical pregnancy? I have never heard that before.
SummerC Don't want to make you insane, but the FR tests aren't that reliable, depending on when you do them. If you actually look at the stats they quote in their literature, they only have something like a 50% chance of being right 6 days before your period is due.
Other reasons not to test pre-period - you could have a chemical pregnancy which doesn't take and then you'll have to deal with all the questions that will end up raising for you. And pregnancy tests get bloody expensive! Just a thought - I know that I started this process frantically weeing on sticks, and it makes life more distressing!
Ah girls girls girls.. AF chasing me today terrible cramps and am due in 2-4 days effffin ragin!!! :-(
Well...I just did a First Response test (the ones you can do up to 6 days before AF is due) and as I suspected it was a BFN.

I didn't really expect it to happen the first month, but I still can't help being gutted. Now I just need to wait for AF to arrive early next week.
So, like Sky27, I am now departing this bus for the May bus.
Congratulations to everyone who has graduated and best of luck to everyone still waiting to test.

A big proper congrats this time LittleOneMum

- i think i added you to the graduates list this morning so i must be psychic..
bubbalewy - think i've heard something like this before. maybe worth just asking at the doctors, i'm not sure.
sorry sky27

My dull, boring wait continues..
Good luck everyone...now departing this bus to catch the May bus. AF caught me yesterday

Good luck LoobyLou hope your test results are all fine and your hips get better.
Sorry to hear about AF NancyPreg.
Congratulations LittleOneMum!
CONGRATULATIONS LITTLEONEMUM

Them faint lines always keep ya thinking dont they lol
Hi ladies,
Sorry nancypreg... and Looby

Well I did my digital test this morning, so definitely pregnant. Overwhelmed!
Hi everyone, i know this is TMI

but has anyone had spotting after DTD around ovulation time, think i will OV today, Ive never had this b4, Its got me thinking that there could be something wrong

And a big hello to all the new passengers xx
Ah nancypreg that's like the driver getting off the bus lol! See u on the may bus..
Can anyone tell me the most sensitive preg test u can get? Used eBay cheapy which claims 5miu and in my imagination there's half a fainter than faint line have a first response in the cupboard but read on net that these are 25miu? Have a bender of a wkend coming up so want to be careful (was preg with dd on my hen wkend and didn't know am still not over the guilt)
congrats to the new grads

so if you ask me,

wow! I miss a couple of days and there are 3 more BFPs!!!! Seriously lucky bus! Am selfishly hoping the luck comes my way this month, as I have really bad arthritis and being of the drugs so we can ttc is a (literal) pain.....
Sorry Loobylou, sending lots of baby dust your way by second class post so it arrives just in time for when you need it

Mornin all,
hope i haven't mucked any stats up, i was doing this whilst my dd's were fighting over toy farm animals.
Congrats to McChesers! Sorry to lose you for a bit Loobylou. If i don't conceive this month i'm off the bus until July because my dh is away for 5 weeks around June 2010 and the thought of a newborn with 2 small children on my own scares me too much. So we may meet again.
Hello new people - this thread was very busy yesterday!
Sweetkitty - how are you, I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL, are you still in limboland?
Nancypreg - any news?
Ok - so i very naughtily tested yesterday morning (25 of 26 cycle)and got a BFN

so i feel i should be getting up from my seat near the front very soon. Have had period pains and pmt for about a week now. I have (not very often) had a 28 day cycle so i haven't totally given up hope but i do keep running to the loo thinking i've come on (tmi i know)

Thanks LeeWT - I won't leave don't worry I will be here for ages propping up the list no doubt. I feel pretty rubbish getting upset about not being pregnant when I have the most adorable 5yo, 3yo and 1yo asleep upstairs as I know a lot of women would give their right arms for that, I do feel extremely grateful everyday for that. I'm v upset about MIL dying TBH I was closer to her than my own Mum and keep expecting her to come up on the train laden with chocolate for the girls

sweetkitty dont go off the board its not over til the witch appears.. my cycle used to be very irregular before going off the pill and you never know i'll prob be here til cd100000000!!
sorry you are feeling down i know how you feel im up and down like a proverbial .. well something! before my mc i never obsessed it always just happened and now im probably so stressed i'm preventing it.
so lets stick together in the hope of some sanity

mcchesers - I might have to take some credit in that BFP you know if it's not too icky lol congratulations and heres to a stressfree and wonderful pregnancy

Loobylou - sorry to see you go but hope it all works out for you, take care of yourself x
Feel very down tonight not just about the TTC/BFing business, other stuff as well. Feel like I should remove myself from the top of the board as it's not CD32 and not cycle 1 TTC, I should be back in limbo land

WOW! I am sat here in total shock. It took 10 minutes of convincing to TTC this month, kept saying sure it can't be possible after one time, I was kind of tipsy, not paying attention..but sure enough CBD says preggers.
I guess this is a lucky thread!

best of luck loobylou xxx
will miss you all too, especially
Teafan as we have been together for the ride for a while, the ups and downs

I would say hope to see you all soon, but thats not true hope you get our pregnancies and that would mean you wont be on here. Once im pregnant i will look for you!
Love to all, its been nice having folk to speak with x (may only be a couple of months till im back) so goodbye for now

[sky] i had no idea i was pregnant with dd but i came back from a gym class and had proper period like cramps and had a bit of bleeding sorry for TMI but it was just one bleed and it was a clot. i thought period had arrived and bought pads but then there was nothing. was completely unaware of everything to do with conception so didnt occur to me i was pregnant til weeks later and thats what it was

!! believe me i was shocked it was a week before my wedding

So to the people who feel like their period is coming on it could be this..
[nancypreg] delighted to here AF is staying out of your postcode - goddamn woman how do you do it!?!
ordered early response which i will take friday before i go on the beer but may 12dpo...
Hi
Looby sorry to hear you're having to delay things.Good luck with everything, I will miss you!

Looby so sorry to read your post and sad to see you leave. All the very best with your smear and getting your pelvis pain sorted out. There's still plenty of time for you to have a 2010 baby when you're ready.

I need a smear test done in the next couple of weeks so cant ttc this month. Im also having terrible pelvis/hip pain so were not going to ttc for a good few month to let my body get better. Bye everyone! Dont wanna keep popping on here as it just makes me sad that i cant ttc just now. So off I pop! good luck to everyone and hope your wishes are granted.........................(steps off the bus)

UmBongo so glad that you have joined the bus, it's much more fun than just lurking!! Hope we can cheer you up a bit

. How lovely to hold a little baby but some people can be so insensitive with their comments (well-meaning/casual though they may be). I hope this is the month for you...post your details and you can become an official passenger!
Hello everyone, just gone from lurker to member - having bad day, just been cudddling friends baby! I am TTC #2, for 14months, finding it hard not to tell folk to bog off when they ask "so are you having another one?"

My other favourite(?) is "ooh she's getting broody" when caught cuddling friends baby at playgroup.
NancyPreg Holding on to the glimmer of hope
Any BFPs yet anyone?
Fingers crossed for us all
Sky apparently, only about one third of women have implantation bleeding. I've never had it once (with 5 pgs) so not able to advise but I think you get a bit of pink spotting? Could that be what you have just seen perhaps??
WeeTiger oooohhh, that sounds promising....fingers crossed for your next test!
Congrats
Bettymum!

I'm in the same boat as you
LOM - tested on Monday and got the most faintest of pink lines using Tescos own brand, tried again yesterday morning with FMU using the clearblue digital which came back not pregnant - so kinda waiting in limbo here - no AF yet so will test either Friday or Saturday and hopefully I'll have a definitive answer. Fingers crossed for all of us

NancyPreg
Does anyone know the difference between implantant bleed and af? Slight pink mucus no blood yet.
Can you get symptoms before implantation?
Summer and
Sky sorry you are feeling down today but you know, Bettyum is right: it may not be af at all...it's not all over until the
fat red lady sings <<tries to elicit some

>>
I know exactly how you feel
sky27. I can feel AF chasing me too. Not this month I guess.

Really depressed today! Hormones all over the place and getting cramps - lower than they have been the last week or so. Think af may get me!
Thank you
apples
Morning all!
LOM any update for us bus ladies?
TeaFan yep, still holding out

and in no hurry to test!! <<maso hat firmly in place>> and it's such
fun isn't it

, you know, the mad dash to the loo wondering if the, er, moist feeling in your lady bits is af

and then r.e.l.i.e.f when it's not

....
liaghen are you a midwife?
sweet no advice regarding the bf situation but I hope your system starts to settle down really soon so you know what's going on.
apples good to see you back after your op. Hope it went well and that you can start to move on a bit now.
ladylou good luck with the next few days
Hi everyone and congrats to the BFPs!
I am due AF at the beginning of next week, my boobs are bigger and I have felt a bit sick on an empty stomach the last couple of days. Plus funny AF style cramps today. It's probably all being blown out of proportion by my imagination though- surely it is too early for any symptoms atall!? Waiting til next week to test anyhow. Going to a wedding on Saturday and don't really want to know before then as I fancy a couple of glasses of fizz, especially if I am going to have to abstain for 9 months soon! (I hope!)
Good luck everyone!
Hey Bettymum congratuations! I really hope this one sticks for you.
Been away for four days for ds birthday treat. Waiting to ovulate really now. After EPRC last Monday, I still have preg hormones so I don't know when this might happen..
Still holding out NancyPreg??

Bettymama I had PMT from hell a couple of days ago...and in fact I had the same just before I found out I was pg with DD. So it wasn't PMT, it was pg hormones! Fingers crossed for you.
sweetkitty I know everyone's different with the BF and periods, I got mine back when DD was 8 months and I'd just switched to morning and night feeds only. Since I started temping when we started TTC a couple of months later, it became clear that I wasn't actually OVing despite having quite regular periods, it took about 5 months IIRC. So anyway...if you don't want to stop BF, don't, but it might be worth trying to temp (if you can stand it!) to see if you are OVing - and if you aren't, you may well start soon.
Phew, that post was longer than I thought it would be when I started typing

Bettymum CONGRATS
littleOneMum positive thoughts your way!!!
Still getting symptoms although not as much as last week...my boobs are still more than three inches bigger than they have ever been, so I'm gonna look on the bright side
Jumped the gun and tested monday BFN, ordered sensitive tests online so I am awaiting those before trying again as I don't know my cycle length. Off to speak to Dr tomorrow - wish me luck

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
Did a proper test tonight and as suspected BFN again so it's settled not pregnant, last period was not a true period (didn't think I had OVed) and my body is still messed up.
Now have a dilemma, am still feeding DD3 twice a day morning and night only, don't think she takes much it's more of a comfort thing but something she really enjoys (I adore that wee look of sheer contentment and delight in her eyes when she latches on) anyway I digress, I want to TTC another baby but don't want to stop BFing just yet, can I do both? I have done previously, I conceived DD2 when DD1 was 9 months and my periods came back with DD2 when she was 11 months and she was more of a milk monster than DD3. I would feel so bad weaning her off the boob just so I cold TTC another baby so don't know wha
