Conception

What do you think? (a bit TMI)

I've had to name change because I can barely say it out loud never mind have people on here know what I'm thinking!

Ok,
Baby now 3 months old
No AF but no surprise as have very dodgy cycles
We tried for nearly a yr to conceive baby - and I mean really went for it with charts and BBT, the lot! Was also getting help from fertility unit.
I rarely ovulate
We've had sex about 3 times since the birth (unprotected as I'm not the most fertile person)

However, and here's the TMI bit:
I've had loads of discharge. Not smelly or weird colour, but the kind you get when preg. Enough to need a panty liner.
Been very tired. Baby sleeps through the whole night so not from lack of sleep.
About 2/3 weeks ago I got pink stained discharge which I thought could be the start of AF but it wasn't. I had this exact same thing when pregnant at 7dpo (implantation bleed)
Ive been getting the odd little niggle in my abdomen like AF is coming but nothing

I've no idea why I'm asking you lot because you'll only ask me to test but what are the chances of pregnancy?
If I were to do a test, would I still have preg hormones left over?

Also I did one of those shaky black ball things where you ask it a question, you shake it and the answer appears - I asked, it said "No doubt about it" (of course it's bollocks but it got me thinking!)

50/50 are the chances. You are or you aren't but a HCG test tends to be more reliable than a magic 8 ball

Damn! Really? Actually I'm hoping the magic 8 ball (that's what they're called!) is very wrong!

Why did I bother to ask? The only thing anyone can say is "do a test" duh!

I don't even think I can bring myself to buy one though

Go to the GP then, they will do one for free. Drop some wee in a pot at reception with a little note if you are too scared! They'll call you if it's positive!

and if you burst into tears in reception, they'll do it on the spot

Just to comfort you, this is completely normal!!!! As your body readjusts to not being pg, you will get all the hormones going wacko. Including spotting and excess cm for some. I spent about three months with all the signs of being pg, and it starts from about the four month post baby for me. So have confidence and go do the test, at least it will put your mind at rest.

Also don't worry about getting a false positive, the hcg levels generally back to zero by 6 weeks. Hope you get the answer you want from the test.

Really rainbowdays? Oh I hope so!
Maybe I'll leave the test then with the hope that it's just hormones settling down
How long does this go on for?
