So I've been checking this month and got my 'surge' this morning. Haven't used the sticks before and the Boots own ones I bought aren't overdetailed - so do we just go for it tonight? Or tonight and in the morning - and every night for the next 3 nights????! Sorry to be a bit dense, but not sure how long the most fertile period lasts - is it just the next 36 hours? Can you tell I'm new at this? I'm sure there are some experts out there!

TIA.

im no expert but ive been using those.
My understanding is that you have to BD everyday for the next 3 days, the more the better.
Good luck!

I believe your "surge" takes place approx 24 hours before ovulation. Sperm can live for about 3 days I think and your egg lasts about 24 hours so technically, you could be fertile Monday, yesterday, today, tomorrow and Friday.

Enjoy
