I have to dash out in a minute, so won't be able to check replies until later but would be grateful if anyone could let me know if this is/is not due to Clomid:

I'm on my first cycle of Clomid at 50mg, now on fifth day of taking it (so last one) and I feel shocking. I am SO tired - I have been recently anyway but this on a different level, and almost like I'm hungover. Has anyone had this?

Hi "Weegle"

Yes on the first month. Reading on here, other mnetters suggested taking it at night -so to sleep through the side effects.

I was shattered every day I was taking it - I was experiencing weird dreams, like watching 3 action-packed movies every night and I wasnt getting a proper rest.

Each month has been different for me. Last month (Clomid #2) I was waking up in sweats and showering at 3/4am.

This month (Im on Day 3, Clomid #3) I have had swollen ankles and fingers and after weighing myself this morning have put on 7lbs as well since starting to take this!!

I think everyone experiences different side effects - you are not alone .

I have a question also - does Clomid mimic pregnancy as I have been convinced both months that I was pregnant only to have a CB digi tell me I wasnt!

thank you - that's reassuring to hear. I was starting to get worried. I have been taking it first thing in the morning, so next cycle I will take it at night. And actually last night I woke up in a hot sweat at about 3am but had forgotten that till you mentioned it.

All the best for this cycle for you
