DS1 - 13DPO

DS2 - 13DPO,

DD, this is tricky because I ovulated a week late ( i thought i had OVd on CD14, but it was 21) so was STILL about 13 DPO, but i thought I was 20 DPO, if that makes sense

Yes Marla, it would be silly. I just tested at 7dpo and it was BFN. Waste of a bloody £10 test. I knew it would be. When I was pg with dd, I tested the day AF was due. I wasn't on MN then, though. I think MN has made me crazy.

My main symptom was sore boobs last time. I'm only on cycle 2, and am already so disappointed! I think because it only took two cycles to conceive dd, I just assumed it would be as 'easy' again.

I used OPK this month. So I know we BD at the right time. Then I start worrying about secondary infertility!!!

We just BD the day we go the smiley face on the OPK - I assume that was the right thing to do!!

I know what you mean, Marla. I thought this time would be a doddle too.

Report
Pinkjenny · 17/04/2009 10:56

So the fact that it's only one week today since, erm bonky bonky doesn't mean it's all over for me this month?

Lulu - seriously, I am losing my mind. You are going to have to drive to my house and slap me.

i can't drive , babe!! sprained ankle.. got as far as asda and had to cry !

look, it is only the second try. you could get a BFP in a week. or not

it takes a healthy couple an average of 12 months i think, or is it 6 to conceive.. anyway. 2 months is not long, you have an approx 25 % chance every month, so you do have to be realistic.

don;t get hysterical, there is plenty of time for that later!

7 DPO is defo too early.

I got a BFP at 10 DPO, but I'd thrown the test in the bin after 5 mins because nothing, it was only when I checked a couple of mins later there was a VERY faint line. Tested again 4 days later and got a much darker line.

Wait a few more days...

xx

Sorry, what's DPO? Probably v obvious, but have head in the shed today.

dpo = days past ovulation

Early testing is the devil's work (either that or something invented by the HPT companies)

Sit on yer hands until cd32 I say (for a 28 day cycle that is) never ever test before you are four days late. If you are pg you'll still be pg on cd32

I got BFP day after AF due.

I know what you all mean, with #1 I tried for 4 years but only test twice in that time, this time I have been trying for 19 months and have tested 4 times already, all of which since I started using MN.

Laurielou DPO- days post ovulation.

Thank you ladies.

headfairy sound advice! Am currently on CD34 of fairly regular 30 day cycle. Planning to test in the morning..........

Why is this 4 days longer than any other in my entire life though?

Report
nunnie · 17/04/2009 12:20

HeadFairy, 4 days , looks like mine is coming early this month anyway.

So I will take note of your advice for next month, I will stitch my hands into my pockets to resist testing before day 32

It's torture because sod's law, I start twitching and buying HPTs and then flipping af starts on cd 32 or something stupid!

Hello everyone, hope you don't mind me popping in for some advice? It's been 2 weeks since 'bonky bonky' ;-) and AF is due either thurs or fri. Is tom am too early too test? I have been feeling reaaly sick for the last couple of days....

Thanks all.

It's so hard to resist testing. Try those cheapie tests off the internet. £10 for 50. You can test 30 times a day with those I had a very very very faint positive 5 days before AF due which got darker day by day.

Like 'Bonky Bonky' - much better term than BD. Maybe we should start a thread to officially bin BD for BKBK.
