Loosing a few pounds whilst TTC ?

I was told by my accupunturist that I needed to warm up and eat more proper meals and seem to have over done it a bit so now I could do with shifting half a stone but am scarred to death to diet or do anything that might jepodise ttc -ing.
Am I stuck now until after the (fingers crossed) baby arrives ?

Well! I am a very average weight in the healthy range but since TTC have gone on to this Low GI diet.

2 reasons.

  1. DH needs to be a bit skinnier (2 stone skinnier really) and

  2. I have PCOS and the low gi thing is supposed to be better for the symtpoms.

We are most defo NOT the sort of people who go on diets and I don't consider myself to actually be "On adiet" but the Low GI way of eating has been really good for us. The meals are healthy and tasty and best of all good for us.

Result. he has lost a bit of podge and I have less spots than I did. Also we are healthier for it and that MUST help in TTC.

If you want to try it I would recommend the Good House keeping Low GI cookbook, its only a fiver from Amazon and we love about 6 recipes in there that we have quite often.

Just try it, what do you have to loose?

Well not getting pregnant is the main thing I have to loose, it's literally a case of my size 12's being a bit tight rather than it being the thing that is stopping me from getting pregnant if that makes sense hence the worry.
