Blood tests on CD5 and CD21, what are they looking for?

I'm having a blood test on monday (CD21) and will be having another one on CD5, what are they testing for?

I have 5-6 week cycles and am a bit concerned that the CD21 test should be 7 days after OV but it won't be as I'd be more likely to OV on CD21-28 surely?

I don't want it to be a waste of time and for me to waste another month not knowing what's going on........

I always thought it should be CD 2/3 and CD 21. On CD 2/3 they are checking FSH and LH and CD 21 is progesterone i think!! Your right in that if your cycle is longer then these days may not be right for you as i think they are based on a 28 day cycle

Thanks, that what I thought, but when I asked the doctor he said "no, just stick to CD21". Maybe I'll ask to go back on CD28 too?
