Hiya - still a bit down but getting used to it I guess The snow has been a welcome distraction. I do still need to have a chat to DP, but am waiting till after he gets some test results back on Thursday as I don't think he can really concentrate on anything else till then (he's been having odd heart palpitations)

I do have to laugh though - bearing in mind there is absolutely no chance I can be PG this cycle, I've been weeing loads more than usual and, like I think either Wanabe or Wasabi said, my sense of smell has ramped up a notch. 3DPO yesterday and I had creamy CM - if I didn't know I had no chance, I'd have started thinking "what if" - just shows you how horrible the 2WW really can be !!

jools am same - there is such I slim chance for me this month that is pretty much non-existant - but I still tested this morning anyway...

Anyway - thanks for all the Birthday wishes - is a pleasing birthday with all the 3's in it

So about this test - it was predictable BFN... so am going to enjoy my birthday tonight and not worry about it... Am guessing cycle is prefering a 32 day thing at the mo... today is CD30..

yellow well done for strating new thread - also hope you get answers soon too.

Just saw this thread and thought it might be you!

Yellow thanks for starting the new thread and I'm sorry you are having confusing things happen. We all have our fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Jools - I hope you have a good day hon. You've had a rubbish few days and need a break.

Well today is my 1st official day of freelancing! Got off to a good start - argument with banl over activation of new card and being on MN I will knuckle down and sort my website out in a bit.

Got my next blood test this pm and also my 1sy hypnotherapy session so fingers crossed I am feeling positive after all that!

Lots of love, Wasabi x

Your poor dh jools - he must be really worried he can't give you what you most want.
My temp plummeted today (having hovered just above coverline for past week or so) so guess that is conclusive that it was cp and is no longer. right - onwards and upwards....

Hi all

yellow - how horribly confusing for you!? Obviously want you to have your BFP but a heavy period like bleed doesn't sound promising. Like the others, suggest you keep an eye on it and go see the GP if you're still getting faint positives in a few days.

iggy - Sorry to hear about BFN but while there's no AF there is still hope even if you didn't BD much this cycle. It can only take the once after all!! Both hope you have a v happy b'day without too much obsessing! x

So where is everyone in their cycle? Do we have any more gearing up to AF dates?

Loving the new title of the thread by the way, and I SO hope it comes true for all of us still waiting for our BFPs.

Realised I needed to update myself. My last cycle was a 30 day one which is very much like it was before I had any MCs I'm going to work on that this time round. With AF coming on Jan 31st, I make my AF date this month March 2nd. Lets hope it doesn't come...I'm away on holiday with DH and some friends of ours during CD 14 to 20 so hopefully () we'll have a bedroom away from the others and can go for it again this month. Given that DH wants to chill out on the BDing front I might be up for some disappointment and I won't be online to rant with you all!!! Hopefully, though, the holiday spirit will take over...?

Hi cindy - I'd be too embarrassed to see gp given last time I went a few months ago with breasts that hurt for weeks and they did blood test at my insistence and not pregnant .

But feel back to normal now and temps doing roughly what they should do.

Hoping this cycle will be the one...

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone

Spookily I rang my mum in my lunch hour - and she said that it was the exact minute I was born - and she was the age I am now... well I thought it was spooky

Still no AF for me.. But last month it came on CD32 - so that would be tomorrow... am annoyed that cycle seems to have increased.

smiley I will take that as a good omen

Hey lovely ladies,

Well, I wanted to share with you that I had my hospital appt yesterday and they didn't bother will blood test as got such a faint positive on the urine test that the doctor was convinced I have had a full mc and hormone levels almost back to zero. Was told to test again at home in a week and call them if it wasn't zero. Apparently the hospital tests are 10 miu so hopefully a home one will be negative. Will prob do one later on as am impatient.

I then had my 1st hypnotherapy session which was really great. She taught me this self hypnosis technique which enables you to relax at a really deep level. You wake up from it and feel all refreshed as if you've had a nap but without that grogginess you can get when you've dozed off. After just one session I felt generally more positive and less tightly wound. I have to practice everyday now till next session in 2 weeks.

Hope everyone has fun with the new snow falls!

Wasabi - I'm absolutely amazed how much care varies

When it happened to me, I went to A&E, got examined in gynae A&E and referred for scan in 2 days. Nurse in EPU confirmed 99% gone and did a urine test that she said was only a faint positive - and that was that ! I had a number to call if I was concerned, but no follow-ups whatsoever. When I called my GP, she was sympathetic but didn't feel the need to see me. It took 3 weeks after that to get a BFN ....

Glad it is pretty much all over for you though and you can move on

wasabipeanut · 05/02/2009 11:31

Hi Jools - yes I never cease to be amazed at how much care varies. I have realised before that compared to a lot of others the maternity/gynae block at our hospital is pretty good.

Tbh, I was surprised they kept asking me to come back for weekly check ups but that's their policy. The staff are really good actually. With the exception of the time the blood tests results were delayed by 24 hours they have been great - very sensetive but also efficient. I thik it's one of the busiest maternity hospitals in the South (Royal Berks in Reading) so they do fairly well considering.

Let's hope this is a lucky new thread!
Thanks for starting it Yellow!

I know the snow is causing chaos everywhere but it's oh so beautiful! I love how it lights up the world! (Also, apart from when scraping windows or showelling snow from cars, people generally seem much happier!)

Jools his palpitations could be due to stress... maybe he really is having a hard time coping with it all and that's his body's way of telling him to chill out?

Nothing to report over here, my temps are all over the place, yesterday morning I had an all time low of 35.2C(!). Fertility Friend has alerted me to the fact that my temperatures are unusually erratic... I do think it may be due to the fact that I've been working til the early hours though. I've been taking my temp again at lunchtime (not for temping purposes as much as for my own peace of mind) and they're far more stable around then... so, Fertility Friend can make do with my early morning temps, but I think I'll unofficially keep track of the lunchtime temps to see if I can detect OV in those.

DH is away at the moment, I'm hoping he'll be home for the weekend as the BD fest should be starting.

I've updated the list too...

Hi broodzilla - how odd about temp. I wonder if you'll be able to detect it at lunchtime. I take mine when I go to bed too just out of interest and I don't keep a note of them but there is no correlation it seems between what it is at bedtime and what it will be next morning.
