how many days, roughly from the last day of af do you start to ovulate and should start bding?

my lmp was 23rd.

Well the average is 14 days I guess but you should consider yourself fertile from days 10-20 of your cycle really.

Shagging to order is difficult to maintain - just do it when you feel like it with a bit extra around mid month!

Sperm lives for at least 48 hours if not longer so every other day is a good idea!

It varies from woman to woman.

The average length luteal phase (from ovulation to your next period) is 12-16 days.

Therefore if you take your average cycle length, your fertile window may be between 12 and 16 days before you expect your next period.

If you are not average (like a lot of us) it may not be that simple!

You can also look for when you have vaginal fluid that looks like egg white. This can be a sign that ovulation is coming in the next few days.

If you are interested in learning more about how to tell when you are ovulating, you might want to get a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler from the library. It is full of useful facts. Alternatively Fertilityfriend.com can be useful.
