Conception

Is it safe to presume that if you have regular cycles you are still ovulating?

My cycles always seem to be between 23 and 25 days and are (touch wood!) regular.
Does that mean I am definately ovulating? I am not using any ov kits.

Not nessercerly , I had regular cycles for a couple of years but am sure I wasn't ovulating, I stopped getting PMT symptoms and could't get pg. Taking Charge of your Fertility is a good book on this. You probably are but not certain.

Thanks for that wonderstuff.
The thing is I got pg twice last year, but miscarried unfortunately. So I was obviously ovulating them; I just hope I still am.

Sorry to hear that Gateau I had a mc about 4 years hago and was desperate to get pg but was very stressed and depressed, my periods changed, I stopped getting pmt symptoms, my boobs had always been sore for a day before af and I had always had cramps on day one, but this stopped, I assumed it was an effect of the pg, but after I made some lifestyle changes and was more relaxed the symptoms came back, so it was obvious to me that my periods had been anovulary. I now have a 14mo dd.

Glad to hear you got you dd, wondewrstuff.
I had the usual period symptoms (in facta bit worse than usual!) when it started on Thursday. Does having symptoms mean you are ovulating?

I think so, for me it did, its all a bit more complicated than was explained to us in year 9 science! Watch out for the egg white cervical mucus in a couple of weeks
