Conceiving a girl?

I've heard that if you bd before ovulation then you're more likely to have a girl, because girl sperm swim slower than boy sperm but last longer. Is this true?

Does anyone know how long girl sperm and boy sperm last for? And, if I wanted to conceive a girl then when is the best time to bd??

In the past I've tended to get pg very easily (hope I'm not jinxing anything here ) but it has just been with boys. I have one ds and lost one ds at 12 weeks pg. Obviously I would count myself the luckiest lady alive if I managed to have another baby, regardless of what sex it is, but I would like to try for a girl...

Has anyone else tried for a girl? If so, were you successful, and how did you do it?

I think you are supposed to have sex three days before ovulation to maximize the chances of having a girl.

I'm sure there's loads of other things you can do if you look it up on the internet.
