I am trying to conceive number three and wanted to know what people think of the CB Fertility Monitor?

My husband works long hours so BD-ing every other night during my cycle isn't possible (I have been having irregular cycles and it was suggested we BD lots to make sure we are doing it around ovulation!)He is exhausted and the fun just leaves the whole situation.

Has anyone used these and found them better than the Digital OPK (which are expensive if you have irregular cycles and have to use more than one pack).

Are your cycles still irregular?. If they are then it is not worth using such a monitor, these can give misleading readings if there is an irregular cycle.

Irregular cycles are often caused by hormonal problems; a blood test can be done to see what your hormone levels are like. Your LH and FSH levels should be tested around day 3 in the cycle (if cycles are irregular blood tests can be done according to calendar days).

Would suggest you make love when you both feel like it; its far better than timing of intercourse which can do more harm than good.
