Hi
We already have a lovely son - and would like a girl this time just for balance and this will be our last baby if and when we get pregnant, so I thought about getting this book about the Sheetles method hmm does anyone have any experience with it?
I would also be very happy with another son.

I read about shettles and realised in retrospect, after having ds1, that we had done pretty much everything recommended to help conceive a boy. 2nd time round, I thought we would try for a dd. Tbh I wasn't very serious about it, but I did alter my diet a bit as well as following the other advice.

I'm not sure I would have stuck it past the month it took to conceive & we didn't want to know the sex. We now have a ds and dd, but of course you never really know whether it was down to chance or whether the shettles method actually influenced the outcome.

Dh says we need about 6 more to properly test it's validity wink.

Btw, I read about it on the internet, I didn't buy the book.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
