Do Ovulation sticks really work... has anyone got positive stories on using this method to getting a BFP?

I am using the ovulation sticks, and wanted to know if this is a good method to get pg quickly or should i be using another method?

I used them to confirm when I ovulated in combination with taking my BMT.
It worked for me.

I used them for the 1st time this month. Don't know if pg yet. Used clearview and it was obvious when the LH surge was - v strong line. just BD around that time.Don't think any method is quicker than other. With opk at least you know you are hitting the right day. I prefer that to BD every other day all month!!!

worked for me in combination with temping and testing CM. Try website FertilityFriend also. I found it to be excellent.

I had no major problems conceiving though, so if you face other obstacles, ov sticks alone are probably not enough

Yes, I used them and conceived DD in my second cycle after having been TTC without them for 2 years.
Once I used OPKs I realised I had long cycles and and had never once in the two years of TTC BD-ed at the right time.

Yentil - they show positive when lutenising hormone (the hormone that triggers the egg to be released) reaches a certain level.

LH surges 24-36 hours before an egg pops out and the theory is that you should have sex the day you get a positive result and the next day.

The downside is that it is possible to have an LH surge but for no egg to be released (and so more than one surge in a cycle), but I think that if you have pretty regular cycles and another child already they might be quite helpful.

You can buy them on the internet (e.g. Access Diagnostics) or in Boots.

I did the course of lessons on Fertility Friend (you have to sign up for them and get one a day) and got pregnant before I even finished them.

Was able to easily identify ovulation days (2 for me) BD'd at the right time and got immediately pregnant.

I was going to try Ovulation Sticks after 3 months if no success, as my friend got pregnant using them - on the second month I think.
