i know there is other topics on this one but my depo contraception injection ran out 3 months ago and still no period i had a bleed on my last round of the injection but nothing since! beginning to have second thoughts about trying for baby cos nothing is happening nto even a period!

I had my last injection May 2006 and it took about 4-5 months for my period to arrive.
It then took until Jan 2008 for me to get pg. It can take anything between 9 and 15 months for fertility to return normally.

i stopped my Depo 2 years ago and it took over 11 months for periods to come back and 2 years on we are still trying to conceive. Previously it has taken 12-18 months before things have settled to normal after the depo, i really would not worry i think 3 months is a very short time after depo.

lol i wish i had never had the depo cos i didnt know all this til after, my doctor or nobody explained all this its a right pain im so desperate to be pg again i had two m/c last year and really want it to happen and work out this time! makes me really grateful of my 2.5 year old ds though
