I'm pretty much aware of when I'm ovulating and sure it's going on right now (always day 12). I'm on 2nd month of TTC after DS conceived straightaway, then 2 M/C also both conceived straight away.

DH not home till much later this evening, does anyone know if the egg would still be OK by then, and if I went for a jog would it affect it?

any advice much appreciated! Dying for 2nd baby!

I think the egg usually lives for 24 hours - but can survive up to 48 hours?? Anyone??

Yes you can stay fertile for 24-36 hours- so tonight could be the night!

the best time to have sex if you want to concieve is from a few days before ovulation until the day after. Having a jog won't make any difference at all.

Glad to hear that too, just had the ovulating mucous this morning and DP is at work - was thinking of demanding his immediate return!

How do you know you are ovulating? If it's from an ovulation kit or monitor and you've had a high or a line then you are about to. If it's from temperatures then you probably already have.

It's literally just from physical sensations, haven't done anything like temping yet, because it's been so easy to get preg, though only had one live birth... I've always noticed one day in the month, always 12 or 13, where I've felt grumbly kind of aches, combined with lots of CM (sorry!) and feeling very 'up for it', and when I've shagged on those dates I've tended to get pg... but I know you can't leave it too long after ov..
