Just thought I'd let you all know....

EBAY CHEEPIE PREGNANCY TESTS ARE OFFICIALLY RUBBISH!

I bought the 10Miu pregnancy tests (should be the same sensitivity as 1st response....

tested at 13DPO, BFP with 1st response, clear positive, BFN ebay cheepie

14 DPO, BFP (practically glo in the dark) with 1st response, faint faint faint (practically non existent) positive with the cheepie

15 DPO faint faint faint (again nearly non existant) positive with the cheepie

(and yes I do know I'm pregnant I just want to make sure....plus I like seeing the lines appear [grin ][mad emoticon])

They worked fine for me too. I got a bfp 3 days early - it was faint but the key was to keep your old test and do a new one two days later and see it has got darker. I had heard a lot of bad things about them so did one while I knew I wasn't pregnant and had no line at all. Certainly took some stress away from TTC not having to pay for CB etc every month.

They've always worked fine for me too, actually I prefer them to the clearblue blue cross ones. Nothing beats a clearblue digital though! (although I've only forked out for them when I'm already 95% certain I'm going to get a bfp though!!!)

these ones are truly awful.... they are proporting to be the same (or better) than the first response!

I do remember someone saying to me if it doesn't say 10Miu on the pack then they aren't they are just normal ones, mine don't have 10 Miu (but that is what they were sold as)

Always worked for me, to the extent of the lines getting darker over days. Would have a clear positive by day of missed period, possibly earlier. Never had a false positive.

Bought them off the internet, not eBay though.

I have had loads of evap lines with these cheapo tests, within the timeframe too, they are crap imo.

You get what you pay for, the best ones i think are tescos own make, and they are reasonable to buy 2 for £4.99.

I just wanted to say I agree that the Ebay tests are rubbish. I am getting strong positives with Tesco and First Response and a definite pregnant on the CB digital but on the Ebay ones I can hardly see a line, it is so faint I have to hold it up to the light.

I've been testing practically every other day for the past week as I still can't quite believe I am actually pregnant but these Ebay tests are just stressing me out so I've decided to stop using them. They are making me worry that something is wrong and that my HCG levels are dropping.

I personally wouldn't recommend them and think that CB digital really is the best one as it says it clear on the screen.

xx
