TTC #3 after a stillbirth at Christmas. Been charting cycle etc but unsure how early I can do a test? Should I really wait till I'm late or can I do it early? If so, then how much earlier can I do the test?

Just a pure lack of patience that is making me ask?

Sorry to hear about teh stillbirth.

It is possible to get a true result before your period is due, with very sensitive tests, but most people will agree that the predicted day of your period is best.

If you know when you OV'd and how long your luteal phase is, then you are already ahead of the game. I got a +ve at 12days past ovulation.

Good luck!
