Beautiful new thread, Squack with a brilliant name!

But perhaps this should serve as a disclaimer - you do not have to hoo-har temp to join us!

I'm seriously barely awake when I take my temp as it is, I'd be slightly worried about where the thermometer might end up if I hoo-har'd it!

I was a little worried I may have lowered the tone, but threw caution to the wind anyway.

So 3 days to go for you...I'm off to stalk your chart

right could drop today be implantation dip have read that it can happen 7dpo-14dpo i had brown spotting 8dpo and 10dpo

Squack · 08/05/2008 13:54

I think it's between 7-10dpo, which would explain the spotting certainly. I don't honestly know if 12dpo is too late for implantation dip. But there again you don't need to have had a temp dip to be pg

Maybe that temp is a rogue one. I mean that it needs to be seen in the context of your whole chart, so for instance if your temp goes up tomorrow, then that low temp won't mean a thing, but if tomorrows is also low, then given that you're 12 dpo (a good LP btw) today it could signal the end of the cycle.

That said it isn't over until we're all back to cd1 is it?

The not knowing is doing both our heads in I fear.

Tomorrow's will be up for sure , just you see. Hopefully for both of us.

Oh I did laugh at the title. Lottie on the old hoo har temping - sorry if TMI but I know you won't mind sharing, but how far up do you stick the old thermometer and do you push it against a wall (oh my oh my) or just leave it sort of "in". I'm wondering whether to do the old hoo har temping this month....

Sorry, am rubbish at reading the charts and interpreting them so Squack and Tink would be nigh on useless on giving you an opinion if I looked at your charts.

Also anyone - is it possible to have a 17/19 day LP? According to FF - I ov'd on day 12 last month but def had the ov pain on day 13 and am not convinced - I then had more EWCM.....I think next month we'll have to start BD'ing on day 9 and go 9/11/13 and 15 to have all our bases covered.....DH will be chuffed

Finally, Minxi just out of interest, how long did it take you to conceive dc's 1 and 2? - I was just chatting with a friend about it at lunchtime today - we both had our dc's at the same time and are the same age (37 nearly 38) and she is thinking about trying for dc2 soon so we were discussing the subject of easy first conception and maybe not so easy second. Hope you don't mind me asking anyway.

Hope everyone else is ok......I might think about reflexology/acupuncture soon....

herb I have to say I started trying for DS and was pg on 3rd cycle....It's been a shock to me to get to the 5th and still not be PG (I know this isn't long but).... I think it happens loads!

on reflection I wouldn't recommend waiting 2 years to try to ttc #2 after #1, because if it happens quickly you can cope with 2 kids in nappies.... whereas now I have a 2.5yr old ds and want a baby NOW....I'm worried about my age (34) and the gap between DS1 and #2...

Morning girls....
Herb DS1 took 9 months and DS2 took 11 months...but DH was away quite alot at the right time - still is really which is possibly why its taking sooo long this time... a friend of mine conceived her first on the 1st month her second took 5 years!! Whereas another friend had all 4 of hers at her first attempt with all!!! I don't think you can ever know... good luck to your friend though...

Anyway happy Friday to all....

Removed myself from list. Moving to a new job, so no MN at work any more and no computer at home. Will be sorting out a laptop eventually, just don't want my dpo climbing to a ridiculous number while I'm away.

Will be a shame to miss all the BFP announcements, but I suppose I'll catch up. Ready, Nappy and Lottie have been with me through a good chunk of my time here - I'll be having words with you if you're not on ante-natal threads next time I check in
