So two mc's in I'm trying to be chemically healthy and drastically decrease my Paraben, sls and Phthalate usage.

Are there any others I need to watch out for?
Does anyone know if all parabens are as bad as each other?

I'm also a bit concerned about essential oils.
Does any one know what exactly I'm supposed to be avoiding?
Is it use on there own, when they are used in products or use in products on my tummy

Is Aloe vera ok in shampoos or shower gels?
Is lavender in products ok?

or does any one know a good trust worthy website where I can find all this out.

seriously sending myself round the twist a little with this so any help gratefully received

Can't help with the parabens - I would think that any products which are "paraben-free" would also be free of other nasties.

With regards to the essential oils, have a look here.
For the most part, bath products etc will have very diluted levels of essential oils in them, but if in doubt, don't!

Oils for stretch marks etc - best if you stick with things that are specifically for mummy-to-be - that way you can be sure that they are safe.

Don't use any oils in concentrated forms.

Now go and untwist

thanks
That website was quite all encompassing and explanatory.
Will do my best to untwist without use of oils of course
