To test or not to test?

I wanted to canvass some opinions, please. I am on CD25, 12 dpo. My cycle is usually about 26-28 days. Today I have some brown spotting, which I had at the same time when I was pg with ds five years' ago and which was implantation bleeding. I'm in two minds about testing. This could be AF coming early (always starts off slow like this for about 2 days) or it could be implantation bleeding. If it's implantation, would it be too early to test?

Don't do it, just wait, really

Tell yourself you can test wednesday morning if AF hasn't come

You can do it!

Oh boo

I think I am seeking tacit approval to test!

If I waited until tomorrow (13dpo), might I get a +ve then (if I was pg, that is)?

You minght - or you might break your heart and waste your money whereas if you wait till Thursday you'll know for sure! Please - give your body a chance

Be strong - I have thought exactly this before (including this month!) and been wrong and it is an annoying and sometimes upsetting waste of money if you are wrong.

The thing with early testing is: if it's a bfn you won't believe it and will probably waste even more money on tests before AF arrives; and if you are pregnant you won't get any less pregnant while you wait a week for a clear bfp.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I think you need about 24-48 hrs after implantation for HcG to metabolise enough to be evident in urine...so save your tests until Tuesday, first pee, if you can bear it!

Good luck

wait for as long as possible. join us on anti-POAS. the longer you wait the mor likely you are to get a proper bfp (if you are pg obv)

Thanks - I didn't test. Will give it another day or so. Brown spotting still the same today.
