its really not that long to wait! and the longer you wait the more likely you are to get a proper bfp

I know, I know, and let's face it, if I get a bfn I'll just ignore it anyway. But I'm not working on Thursday and I will be near shops with tests in them...aaarrggh!

Btw, each month I give dh a list of dates on which he will be required to "perform", thus removing the need to worry whether he will be in the mood at the right time. In return I have to wear saucy (or at least matching) underwear on the appointed occasions in order to facilitate the process.

And they say romance is dead.

oh I wish I'd seen this thread before I wasted my last CBD this morning... (2 days over if counting as a normal cycle, but I check my CM & think I ov'd late this month, so not 'due' till tomorrow, really). You just never believe the wretched things if they say 'not pregnant', do you?

Period due 1 week on Saturday so still too early to be even thinking of testing for me, but this month, as well as not POASing I will also not be taking my temp in the luteal phase as it's a PITA.

I am also trying to ween myself off OPK's, I was doing very well until CD14 then I caved, did one, and it was positive anyway so only one done this month!

I can get over this addiction, I can I can I can.

captain, no harm done, just dont test again til you are at least 14dpo! agree, i never believe a bfn either!

I have fallen into the trap of testing early, have had faint pos on a normal CB, neg tescos, faints on cheap ebay tests, and i feel like i am losing the plot.(pics on profile)

AF was due Monday - no sign.

Well, I feel like a great big eejit - the witch got me already but I didn't test and so have more money for Green & Blacks/other alcohol substitutes.

Oh well, there's always next month....

oh sure, last month disenchanted didnt get a clear bfp til her period was nearly 2w late! these HPTs are the work of the devil. do NOT test again until monday.

DBNO, im sorry but at least you have some extra cash, 1 two pack of CB= £10, thats a new top!

I'm being strong and waiting... Now on day 30 of 26/7 day cycle, but think I ov'd late and was due on today. I think. Have had some cramps, feel bloated, seem to be rather constipated. BUT have only managed to buy some rubbish 'predictor' HPTs (thanks for that, Morrisons), so absolutely no point in trying to test early with those. Am trying not to fantasise too much about a small sibling for the small child sleeping upstairs... May test tomorrow, but will try to hold off to the weekend. Trying very hard now.

just think, if you get a bfp it will be a proper bfp. no holding it up to the light, just in case! stay strong.
