Sorry I know this is tiresome but has anyone had a negative pregnancy test the day before AF is usually due then gone on to get a positive?

Im CD27 today and got a negative test result this morning.Im not actully 100% sure when my period is due but it came CD28 last month but hass fluctuated from that to 31 CDs.

Would you say its over or has anyone had this and actully been pregnant?

Yes! On Wednesday and Thursday last week!!

I got 2 BFN's and gave up all hope of being pg. For some reason I did an Ebay cheapie and there was a faint line. 3 BFP First Response tests later and I have a booking in appointment with my MW next week.

It is not over until AF shows up.

Kayz so you got BFNs and you weren't testing super early??

I know that if you tests DAYSSS before AF is due you are likely to get a false neg but i thought that if i was due tomorrow I might getr a +!

Hi the blonde, a week? wow.

I got + with my 2nd DS on 13DPO, but dont know what DPO I am this month!

I didn't get a positive until 5 days after my period was due - after 2 negatives in between.

So yes, entirely possible.

Also bear in mind that the claim that they can detect x days before your period is due is based on you ovulating on day 14 of your period. If you ovulate later in your cycle (even if it's a 28 day cycle) you will implant later and consequently test positive later.

I got the faint line thursday night. Got 2 BFNs 1 with FMU on the thursday morning and 1 in the afternoon.

Ah yes theyoungvisitor I don't know when I OV'd so that could be the reason.

Im getting quite hopeful as I always get a migrane before AF comes and had nothing yet!

I was a week late did a test was negative, waited a week still a negative. 3 days later did a test and it was positive.

The percentages of those who get their BFPs on set dpo are as follows:
10dpo=35%
11dpo=51%
12dpo=62%
13dpo=68%
14dpo=74%
15dpo=80%
16dpo=88%
17dpo=92%
and there are some who have not got their BFP until 21dpo.

A BFN means nothing on its own.

Yes, didn't get a positive until the day my period was due, and then it was barely there ... and I was having twins!

I didn't get bfp until 16 days after the last bd.

Clearblue say to test 17 days after the last time you had unprotected sex if you don't know when your af is due.

I have no will power when it comes to waiting to test so bought a load of cheap tests and tested whenever I got the urge!

I got 2 BFNs the days leading up to AF. I tested yesterday, being 3 days late and got my BFP!

For this latest pregnancy I did a test on CD28 and it was negative - but I decided to relax as I felt pregnant. The packaging on the test said it could detect pregnancy 4 days before AF due. I think I waited till CD34 or 36 to do a further test which was positive.

I tested again with a 1st response, i thought it was going to be a BFP as a shadow line appeared at the test line immediatly but when I went back 3 mins later it was just shadow no pink at all, i think i just have fantastic vision as i always see the control line.

So BFN at CD28 with a FR - Im taking that as it now, and just waitng for that bitch to show up

Am gutted .... again.

I got MULTIPLE -ves with both pregnancies until 10-14 days after AF was due! First time thought 'oh well' and got hammered, second time knew better - there is hope. You may just be a low HCG lady.

I got a BFN a couple of days after AF was due, followed by a BFP 3 days later. The result is snoring on my lap

This happened to me, i knew i have ov late in cycle though, and i got a BFN on the day AF due, followed by a faint POS 3 days later.
