Shoptilidrop,

Please do NOT self medicate with Agnus Castus as it can make any underlying hormonal problem worse!!.

If you want to use AC I would urge you to seek out a properly qualified medical herbalist.

I would urge you to seek proper medical advice from your GP and have a blood test done to see what your hormone levels are like. There is always a reason as to why the menstrual cycle is very long or non existant. Non ovulation can be due to hormonal imbalances (PCO is a common culprit in this regard) or thyroid imbalances.

Oh, is Angus castus really that bad?

Ive already had blood tests and they came back fine, was told by the doc to just wait it out.

This is only my first af after coming off the pill in sept 07.

I'd talk to the doc about the blood test results and have the test redone. You should have an up to date test result. At the very least you should have LH and FSH tested and compared. What hormones were originally tested for?.

Think GP is fobbing you off, how much longer are you supposed to wait . If you haven't had a period in six months then there is always a reason why.
