Boots, HPT's not used these before [shock] how accurate are they?

period is 3d late which never happens (unless im pg) and shows no sign at all of rearing its ugly head. bought a boots test today and did it mid morning (definately NOT 1st wee, have to squeeze it out, TMI, sorry) and twas a bfn.

just read though that boots tests are probably the least sensitive (doh) any stories?

lissie i dont know but for your own peace of mind go and buy a clear blue digital,
fingers and toes crosed for you

i only chose it because it was so much cheaper. wasnt even a digital one. honestly, ive spent so much on hpts over the last 2y that i could probably have bought a baby by now

I've always found them the best ones. other test would say BFN but boots always said BFP with the dsses.

well they know what they say, when you relax a little bit ,it happens, test again and see what it is ,i know digital blue is exspensive but worth it to stop you from wondering

don't bother with clear blue for sensitivity...they are only hafl as sensitive as First response.

No idea about Boots but if you look up peeonastick.com it has sensitivities for many brands...no idea if boots in there!!

they say that it is just bad luck. because of the stage i am mc-ing at it would appear to be a chromosonal prob. we atre eligable for a uterine killer cells test, but its pricey!

just found a table of HPT's sensitivity and it would appear that boots is 50mIu, while cb is 25mIu.

not great when using it at 11am with watered down wee

i did an asda test with DD at 1 day late, in the middle of the afternoon and it was accurate. although i did take it to 2 friend's houses so they could check it with me

might be a blip, my dear....

how come you cannot get this killer cells test for free as part of your treatment?

oh lissie! Just to say I'm thinking of you with crossed fingers and hoping this is a dodgy test rather than messed up cycle.

thanks everyone btw, its just so frustrating. i started my periods when i was 18 and apart from when my weight was too low and when i was pg it has come every 28d. ive had the (very occasional) 1d late, but now its nearly 4d late (always starts in the morning/overnight)
shall just have to be patient. getting good at that!
