When exactly do you feel ovulation pain.....

The above might sound like a stupid question but I was just wondering if you only felt ovulation pain as it was happening or do you get it in the couple of days leading up to it?

Today I have got what feels like mild stitch on one side on and off (not painful and doesn't last long).

I have been doing OPKs and haven't got a positive yet although on the one I did today the line is definitely noticeable but not strong enough to be positive.

Was just wondering if I was 'leading up to' getting a positive?

It is really late in the cycle for me. Today is CD 19 and last month I got a positive on CD11.

Thanks

not everyone feels ovulation pain and there is no evidence that the pain many women feel is actually ovulation occurring.

Also worth noting that OPK's will not necessarily detectthe LH surge so don't rely on them exclusively!

Look out for the main indicators (ewcm, temps, cervical positions) and do extra OPK's at a later time in the day/evening if you want to make sure.

Good luck!
