Hi, I came off the pill this month and had my LMP starting on the 17th. I've been using up some ovulation tests that I got off the internet when i was trying for my last one. They run out of date this month.

I started using them on day 11 and now i'm on day 19 and no signs of ovulating yet. I can't remember my nornal cycle length, but don't recall it being abnornally long. I thought maybe that i might ovulate a bit late as my body won't know whats going on after coming off the pill? I have more tests, so will keep going. We've not been trying to hard this month, but would be nice to know when ovulation occurs.

Has anyone any thoughts? thanx adele

Hiya

ovulation differs from person to person but as you have just come off the pill it may be that you won't ovulate or that your cycle is a bit erratic to start with.

The first month I came off the pill I was a few days late (and thought I was pregnant - I wasn't) and it's taken a while for me to settle down. I've been off the pill since Oct and I still think my Cycle is a bit weird. I Ovulated lat month on day 16.

The bleed you had wasn't a proper period, just a withdrawal bleed, so technically your days are not accurate.

Keep doing the tests and watching out for other OV signs (EWCM, etc) but your probably shouldn't depend on teh actual dates IYSWIM!

Good luck!
