When (how long after conception) did you know/feel pg? Did you have early symptoms before you tested or before period was late?

Day after period was due with DD, tested day it was due but got a negative.

3 days before period was due with DS, couldn't wait to test....surprised to get such an early positive.

when i was pg with dd (who is nearly 4) i hadn't noticed any symptoms but just woke up one day when we were on holiday in france and had a feeling i was pg, no sypmtons or anything (it was on the day af was due) so had to get a test from a french pharmacy to check even though i told dh i already knew the result. a few days later i started getting sickness walking round the market otherwise no symptoms for a while

1st time - about 5 days after af was due (I only tested because I was late). I didn't feel pg, but looking back there were signs (certain foods made my stomach turn etc).

2nd time - about the time af was due. I felt a bit faint, but done a test to rule out being pg as I thought I was sickening for something.

1st time - about a week after conception so a week before AF due - waves of nausea.

I'm on my first month of ttcing no.2 and I think I'm pregnant and I knew three days later with nausea/metallic taste in mouth and the fact that I don't fancy a glass of wine at all ever (not heard of unless I'm pregnant). First I thought I had a virus but I still feel like this 9 days after the believed conception. I will be in shock if it is a BFP on Sunday, I can't believe at 37 I've got pregnant first time again. My heart goes out to everybody that has been trying so long. However, who knows if I am pregnant whether it will stick at my age.

I tested this morning but got a neg (i know its way to early but i could'nt wait)

Just trying to work out if i have a bug or morning sickness, it seems worse at night and feels like travel sickness.

Good luck to all of you who are ttc and looking for symptoms.

marne it is a sad fact that the only reliable symtom is a late period and a bfp. everything else - sore nips, nausea etc etc can just be premenstral shit or just how you are that day. take care and good luck.

if you only ovulated a week ago, it would be very early to get a positive result. I would test again in a week if you still think you are pregant, and good luck!

DD1 - knew the day after we did the deed, took 9 months ttc but only one BD that month due to work

DD2 - few days after, one month of ttc, one BD again

DB3 - few days after (mc), one month ttc, loads of BDing

DB4 - probably about a week before AF was due, 2 months of ttc, about 2 BDs

I had no symptoms just a feeling but then again we were ttc with all so it wasn't like a big shock. It's difficult to describe but I would be walking along or something and I thought would pop into my head "I'm pregnant"

I know i should'nt have tested but i bought some tests off of e-bay that say you can test from 1 week-10 days after conception (still could be to early).

Oh i hate waiting

It only took 1 month to concieve dd1 and dd2 so fingers crossed (this is the 2nd month but first month we have dtd almost evry day )

I hate those tests! they really don't give valid results, even if it gave a positive at this early stage there's no guarentee that the pregnancy would stick - it could be a chemical pregnancy when implantation doesn't occur and your period arrives as normal.

I know how hard it is to wait!

I agree about the ebay tests they gave me the tiniest faint line the day AF was due, took about 10 days after AF was due before I got a definite positive. I think they are rubbish to use before AF is due (speaking from experience of peeing on a lot of them).
