It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair !!! I had a BFN this morning and now I'm going to have to stop TTC for a couple of months as I'm getting married in June and it will be too late to change my dress (I can't gain weight for it, it's a long story) and knowing what morning sickness is like, I definitely don't want to suffer with that on my wedding day either!!
I was sooo hoping for a BFP this morning and I was soo dissapointed, but deep down I knew I'm not pregnant. Still no AF yet, however I'm pretty sure it'll come. Clearblue is quite a sensitive test, so it would have shown something. [big sad sigh icon]

Hi BC.
Just to say that I read your post. Sorry to hear that you'll have to put TTC on hold. Your morning sickness might be gone by June though if you get pregnant next month. Are you late?

Hi Belgian bun, hmm we're both named after belgian tasty stuff. I know what you're saying, it's infuriating to see all these people that don't really try. Well I had my hopes up as dp was home at the right time for ttc. It was also cycle nr 3, which was when I conceived 2x before with other dc's.

Hi Clouisewood, can't get pregnant next month as they need 4-6 months to order a dress in and by then it will be too late to order a bigger one than I have put to the side now (bargain, ex-display one). Thanks for the suggestion anyway

BUT a honeymoon baby might be the answer. I've calculated that our wedding should be slap bang in the middle of my cycle, so hopefully...

sorry you have had a BFN belgianchocs im TTC#2 aswell and decided to put it off for exactly the same reason as you are having to now. i got married in august 07 and we decided to start TTC after the wedding due to the style of dress i had chosen and the fact that i tend to lose alot of weight in my first trimester (i did with DD and my MC before) i lost almost 2 stone with each pregnancy so my dress would be too big to alter again due to the style and i would have to buy a new one you will have a lovely day (not least because you can have a nice bottle or two of bubbly) and heres to a honeymoon BFP

Nice to hear someone that's been in the same position. MrsEi25. Unfortunately I don't loose weight when I get preg, I gain in from the minute that cross appears on the test and my dress is an exact fit at the moment.
Did you have a honeymoon BFP by any chance?

no unfortunately we didnt but that was only because i was due on (and came on) my period around the time of the honeymoon we certainly would have given it a good go though if i hadnt been due AF
we only decided to go for it properly in november and i am on cycle 3 now you will know when it is the right time for you to start trying again and if now isnt the time then you will have a guilt-free wedding day and nice big BFP after the honeymoon
