Please can someone tell me that missing a period whilst on the pill doesn't mean you are pregnant, even when it is the first month back on it, after a pregnancy and breastfeeding for 11 months.......... please?!!

Oh cheers for that LOL

A baby wouldn't be such a bad thing, I have always wanted another (in fact told my DH that as I was being stitched up after giving birth to the last one lol), but would just be really really bad timing at the moment.

Anyone else?

I know, but don't even know when I could do a test, last time didn't get a BFP till I was 9 days late.....

What do I do when it comes time to start my next pack of pills? TBH, I have decided to stop the pills anyway, made me a grumpy ol' cowbag all month, but do I just stop them now?

It doesn't mean you are pregnant - it's happened to me a few times.

The first time I was terrified, and did test after test to be sure ( all negative) but I accept it happens every now and again now.

Don't know why it happens though.

That is very reassuring - Thankyou!!!

I can't win either way, I would love another so I'd be very dissapointed if I'm not pregnant, but then on the otherhand, in the next 12-18 months we are hoping to move to Spain, and that would go out of the window if I am pregnant, so either way, it's going to be bitter sweet.

its probably just your hormones getting used to the pill in your system.....remember they are not true periods so it may take a couple of months for the false cycle to take effect

Why can't you move to Spain if you're pregnant? I am pretty sure it's possible

Oh I know, and I know some people do it, and fair play, but I certainly wouldn't want to make the move whilst pregnant, or with a new baby. The whole point of waiting the 12-18 months was that DS2 would be out of nappys and well past "the baby" stage.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter yet, don't even know if I am pregnant!

AF is here, I think. Typical, just start facing up to the possibilty that I could be pregnant again, and it arrives!
